"Who knows, I can't find Clea. She hangs around mother's helper too much for me to keep track."Dante grunted, showing no emotional difference about it or not. He did wish his helper would stick around him more, like she wanted to be nearby him. Just in that thought, Clea slithered through the snow. Her muddy color struck out against the white scenery.
"Dante, there you are." She hissed, slipping through the cold and up to burrow in his thick fur between the shoulders. "You wander a bit too much." She complained, knowing that Dante was her main source of heat for these cold months.
"Maybe if you stopped being around Nile, you wouldn't have to fret about my whereabouts. Hm?" Dante inquired, before allowing his tense shoulders to relax for Clea to grow comfortable.
Dante turned back to look at his sister, "I still don't trust that wolf."Dante started, looking over at Blaire with a serious gaze. Every bone in his body told him to stand his ground and fight back against Akemi.
She nodded to her brother, but then let off a shrug. "Perhaps he can teach us something." She said, not really knowing what to believe at this point. She was young, and easily convinced of things. "I think he might make a cool dad if we give him a chance." She muttered under her breath, looking off into the distance. "Come on. We've taken long enough. Lets go see what he wants. I sort of want to know what element I have, anyways." She sighed, starting to head back to the head warrior.
As she was walking, an eye turned back to look at Dante. "Should we form an escape plan?" She asked, perhaps they could figure something out together incase things got too uncomfortable.
The brown wolf trotted along besides his sister, his pace still held the same prideful anger that ran through his blood. He was gaunt from the famine, his body in need of nutrients to fill out his adult body. "Teach us something? I'm doubtful." He replied in a stubborn tone, lashing his tail back and forth. He wasn't one to trust so easily, besides the wolf that shared a womb with him for months.
Dante had to admit, he was intrigued to find out exactly what their elements were. No one seemed to pay mind to the new helpers that appeared in the pack. His eyes squinted against the sharp winds before setting off after Blaire as he slackened for a moment. "I'll only see what he wants because you want me to. I won't be happy about it, but I'll do it for you." the male reminded her with a sharpness on his tongue.
"The only escape plan I have is if he lashes at us, we lash back together. We may be weaker, but with the two of us together. We may have an upper edge."
The old beta sat alone along the frozen lake shore. She had a genuine cracked smile on her face as silver started to line her muzzle, lifting it up ever so slightly to allow the wind to whip around her thick fur. This was the perfect time of year and she would enjoy every minute of it, even if her mate had been taken away from her. Her blue eyes glittered as the thin sunbeam as she looked across. The pack had been silent, but it gave enough time to ponder.
Maybe she should retire from beta soon, she was growing much too old and frail. Although, Naomi did enjoy looking after the pups. Maybe in retirement, she'd be able to round up and tell the new ones of Ronoh's history. Seemed like a content life, surrounded by wolves she loved.
Naomi turned her head, noticing her eldest daughter make her way through the snow. When did Dezera grow so quickly, it was just yesterday that she was apprenticed.
Why weren't they going? She might as well just go hunt in Sera alone. Maybe win back some points for being mouthy to the alpha heir. Dezera had to admit, it would go much more smoother if Karasu was besides her in this small blizzard. She couldn't hear much except the wind and forget about sight, everything was white except for the occasional dark shades of color.
Dezera paced back and forth before decided to give out a low, lonely howl to the sky. Mainly to try and attract Karasu and Kodi's attention back to hunting, or at least get Karasu. She lowered her head to her chest as she shivered in place, acid played on her paws to melt the snow around her. She had to be cold, but she didn't have to be wet in this weather.
The female let her head nod slowly as they paced towards their so called 'father'. "Okay. But before we make any more deals, lets make sure he's doing it for us and not his own good. I'd hate to be used like some sort of a tool." She glared at the ground, knowing she would never forgive her father for doing such a horrid thing. Was he really her father? For some reason, the name was always thought of in her head, but it had no emotional feelings behind it. It was almost like, he was just 'there' and named because of his doings, but there was no connection to make her ever believe he would be 'her' father but rather... 'a' father.
"He's right over there." Blaire said, looking off to see him laying in the snow. He seemed like he was relaxed, which set her mood back a bit. At least he wasn't rushing them, as they had definitely been taking their sweet time. Blaire looked back at her helper, pleased to see it had been quiet, and had been listening. Good.
The female's ears lifted at the sound of a familiar howl. Was it already time for a hunt? Damn. She was just about to go off on her own, but she supposed perhaps the night would be better to venture off alone.
"You sure you want to hunt in broad daylight?" Karasu asked, intimidated by the sun, but willing to give it a try. It would probably be a bit more dangerous, but at this point, she didn't care.
"Let's make it quick." The Alpha heir said, looking around as if expecting Kodi to show up, but unsure if he actually would or not.
Kodi nodded to his mate, "Yes, next spring sounds lovely." He told her as he smiled a bit before nuzzling into her once more. But was interrupted when he heard the familiar howl of Dezera. Oh right, the hunt. It seemed that Kodi had almost completely lost track of what was going on since he had been smitten over Yami these last couple of days. "I gotta go again my love." He told her with a long face. "I love you Yami and hopefully I'll see you soon." He told her as he licked her cheek then walked out of his icy cave, it was Winter now, his most favorite season for obvious reasons. He would do good on this hunt for being in his natural element and all. He threaded through the snow over to Dezera and sat near her. "Dez, are we ready?" He asked nodding to her.

He hurried over to the rocky caves with Kali, wanting to find shelter from the snow as soon as possible. "Heh. Thanks..." He said as he ducked into an empty cave. He thought it was pretty cool that she wanted to spend so much time with him since no one else in the pack seemed to seek any interest in interacting with him at all. "So, whatcha think? Am I friend worthy yet...or?" He asked her with a toothy smile. "Cuz I think we make a pretty awesome team if you'd ask me..." He said as he puffed out his chest a bit.
The female allowed her head to lower as Kodi left and headed off towards his mission. Her eyes stared at the ground, figuring if she never watched him walk away, it would be as though he never left in the first place. Surely he would return soon. She let out a soft sigh and figured it would be time to distract herself. She wondered what Akemi was up too... perhaps she owed him a visit. Her brother seemed so busy lately, she rarely saw him at all since he got his 'high' rank. She let out a small giggle, remembering the days when he dreaded even joining this pack.
She nodded to the male, sitting down in the snow as she allowed Braxton to enter the cave. Lifting her paw she quietly began playing with snowflakes that were falling, switching their time from ice to fog to water, changing their shapes by altering their times. It was just a side distraction, although her main focus was on Braxton's question.
"Are you asking if we should be friends?" She allowed her lip to lift up, emitting a side grin as she pondered this question.
"I've never been asked that before. Normally it just happens." She laughed.
"Sure, we can be friends." Kali seemed to know more than she thought about the world, time ticking before her eyes, she was becoming an expert and it almost seemed as though her actions would create certain futures... as though she could choose which time she wanted to live in.
He realized how silly he had sounded and blushed a little bit, hoping that she wouldn't notice. "Oh, right. Well, you know..." He started as she rubbed the back of his neck with a paw. "I've never really had a real friend before, I'm kinda new to how all of this works." He admitted to her with a half smile, still feeling slightly embarrassed.
She laughed, hoping she hadn't offended him. She often had a problem with being bluntly honest, never intentionally.
"Oh, well, everyone is different!" She smiled, throwing the snow flake as her tail hit it like a base ball, sending small bits of snow glittering everywhere.
Rolling over, Kali sunk into the snow and let it stick to her back. She loved the snow! She loved all seasons! This was grand, and exciting! And the best part, it was made of water! Growing up with Hibari, Kali always loved water. She smiled over at Braxton. "Wanna have a snow ball fight?!" She asked, scooping up some snow and staring at him in a playful yet challenging way.
He smiled a bit, It was nice to have an actual friend, even though she probably thought he was a bit silly. Kali was nice, and he never really hung around many girls so it was a awkward yet cool experience. "Heh, I'd probably just melt them all..." He said with a deep chuckle. "What about we play a game like we did with the water? You throw snow balls at me and I try to melt them?" He asked as he wagged his long tail. He really hoped it didn't sound like a dumb idea or anything, he never really played many games either, just training and fighting.
"If you mean to tell me you think you can melt snow balls fast enough...' She grinned, hopping up from her seat and jumping around, launching balls of snow towards Braxton. She wasn't even about to give him a chance to escape from his cave, let alone think of a plan to save himself. She laughed happily, it was all fun and games in her head, never taking things too seriously.

The young male awoke after what seemed like forever in a cave that smelled of home. He rose, bones clicking as he did so. He wandered outside, into the snow. He deposited his sword beside the cave enterance and went to stand by this grandmother's side, looking out at the frozen lake. His eyes shone her way. "What do I call you?"

I'm not done with these yet, but after I make my wolves, I can make yours, 1 PP for 5 wolves, if that sounds fair.
Turning to look at her grandchild, she smiled daintly at him. "Anything that your heart desires. My pack calls me Naomi, but I see the term grandmother or any variation perfectly fine. You do share my blood." She flickered her tail, beckoning to have him sit down. "Do you plan to stay around long?" She asked, easing her way into a conversation. The snow collected around her, but she dare not shake it off. Her tail played with the snow besides her, brushing through it and allowing to become a small valley.
As Kodi made his way to the group, part of Karasu was a bit let down. The three of them together were never a good combo, and she felt like if she was alone, one on one, with either of the wolves, they would have done a better job. But of course, all of them had to be right on time.
"We're heading out now. The snow is falling, it should be a good cover up. We need to make this sneak attack fast, and we need to go now." Karasu said, making her way through the bushes. She wasn't waiting around this time. It was all going to be serious, and it was going to be organized. No more playing around.
ooc: Am I sounding kinda like Karasu? :D TRYING MY BEST HERE PEOPLE!
He was just about to step out if his cave, when he was pelted in the cheek with a snow ball. He shivered a bit then went up in flames, getting ready for the challenge, melting all the snow underneath his paws. As he saw another snow ball coming at him he threw a fire ball at it, melting it. Then chuckled a bit and ran in a different direction in the snow hoping she would chase after him.
The ice wolf nodded to Karasu, hoping that her attitude would change and she would be quarreling with Dezera the whole time like last time. "Right..." He said with almost no emotion. He just wanted to get this done as fast as they could so he could get back home to Yami. He started to follow Karasu, every once in awhile looking up to the sky hoping that the Gods would look out for them on this hunt.
The female bounded after the fire wolf, giggling as she bounced through the snow, chucking snow balls at the male as fast as she could. She was in mid-throw when something caught her eyes, turning and completely missing Braxton as she looked off into the forest.
For a moment, Kali could have sworn on her life she just saw her father. She was positive he was just standing right there, watching her play. She stopped and shook her head, feeling a slight head ache take on as she tried to force herself back into reality. Turning to Braxton, she was silent for a moment, stuck on the thought of her father as she watched the fire male.
Forcing herself to scoop her paw, she lifted a large snow ball up into the air, preparing to swing it towards Braxton. Perhaps it was just her imagination.
"FIREEE!" Kali shouted, back to normal once again as she leapt and tossed the pile of snow towards the fire wolf.
The female had no time to deal with Kodi's immature emotions, and so she started off into the Sera lands. One quick push through a bush and a crawl through her previous route and she could smell the deer already. Hopefully this would change by summer. Hopefully she wouldn't have to put her life at risk to prove to her parents she was worthy of being Alpha.
Hopefully these two nimbinsoles wouldn't ruin it for her this time.
She went sprinting, as fast as she could into the pack. Truth of the matter, she had no idea what she smelt, and now that she felt Vivica following behind she knew she needed to act fast and impress her. Moving as quickly as she could she spotted the first thing she could and ran right up to it, sticking her nose right into Akemi's behind.
"THE STINKIEST SMELL OF ALL SMELLY SMELLS!" Caeli said, giggling wildly as she sniffed the unfamilar males behind.
Akemi let out a surprised growl and turned around, snapping right in front of Caeli's nose. "What the hell are you doing?" He glared at her.
Caeli laughed and poked him right between his eyes. "BOINK!" She giggled. "YOUR FUNNY, LETS PLAY!" She giggled.
Akemi thought this was some sort of a joke, and he snarled at her. "You dare step into the pack of Ronoh, mock the head warrior and expect to get away with it?" He reached out and grabbed at Caeli, immediately pulling her to the ground. It was the males duty to keep Ronoh safe, and this seemed like some unforgivable joke. There was no way he was dealing with this idiot any longer.
Killing the pesky little wolf took little to no effort, and Akemi licked his lips of the females blood shortly after. Caeli's body lay mangled beneath his feet, and he looked around, just asking for any one else to mess with him today. He was on edge as it was for waiting so long for his pups to return with their helpers, and was not in the mood to deal with any more of this idiocracy.
She was well behind her sister and had lost the trail that Caeli had left behind because of all the snow that was falling, she ended up at a different side of The Ronoh boarders, she sniffed the air and realized that this was a pack, it smelled much different than Inferno but by the scent that marked the boarders she could tell this was a home of a group of wolves and that she should probably not just barge in. She was near a frozen lake or pond. Maybe she could make a home here, since there was no way she was going back to Inferno. She gave off a short howl, hopping that someone would answer her. If not, she would just leave, and leave her sister behind.
The fire wolf was pelted with a few more snow balls, but melted the next couple as he bounced around and tried not to get hit, but it seemed that Kali was a lot faster than he expected. The ****y male had to admit that these childish games were pretty fun, and he felt like a pup. Though he never had the chance to take part in these games when he was a pup, making up for lost times was pretty cool. But he noticed that his new friend was looking over towards the forest, he look as well but didn't see anything. "Ay, Kali..you okay?" He asked he he tilted his head. But as soon as he stopped she caught him off guard again with another snow ball. He ducked and hit it with his flaming tail, turning it back into water again.
She nodded to Braxton as he called to her and asked if she was alright. "I'm fine." She said, shrugging as though she wasn't really sure about what she had seen, or what had happened. Her head was still pounding though, but as a time wolf, head aches were very common.
She smiled at Braxton, he had been doing a pretty good job but she was glad she still got a few hits in. Her tongue was lolled out of her mouth and she decided to do one last move. "Hey Braxton, you're pretty skilled, you know." She grinned, her mind traveling through time as she calculated him for a moment, tracing back on ways to distract him.
"It must be those big muscles. Can I see them?" She asked with a wink. Surely he would show her something show-offy, as that seemed to be his muse. She waited patiently, not showing any signs of wanting to throw anything at him, for now.
Her old body was resting well in a dug out area on the frozen grass. She was slowly thawing it out with her electricity, using it as more of a jolting heating pad. The snow was never fun when you got older, and Lupita was learning that the hard way. Standing up, she stretched a bit and headed towards the call. "Kenny, I got this one." She said, as he too seemed to be resting for quite some time. She allowed him to continue to rest, but gave him an inviting wag of her tail if he were to follow as she headed off towards the howl.
"What do you want with Ronoh?" Lupita asked, seeing a younger aged female before her, who looked a bit annoyed at something but perhaps she was just curious.
"My name is Lupita, Alpha of Ronoh." Lupita explained, taking a seat near the female as she watched her precautiously. She knew her pack was located in Sera right now, so she was on edge about new comers.
She was a little nervous once the alpha came towards her. And was a little shocked that the Alpha was a female, being raised in Inferno, she saw how the females were treated, for the exception for her mother, who didn't act like most females. She was kind of at a loss of words, she wasn't sure on what to say at this point. "Hello...I'm Vivica...um I think my sister had ran in here uninvited...she's really stupid, and very slow..." She started. "Well it wouldn't surprise me if she was dead by now by one of your wolves..." She added since being raised in such a violent pack she was used to death threats for such minor crimes.
"But I was also wondering...if you had any openings for new pack members?" The teenager asked the much old female in hopes she would say yes, she was getting tired of walking in circles and being on her own, not that she couldn't handle it but he only companion she had was Caeli and that was getting old, she hoped that this would bring the opportunist for her to meet other wolves near her age.
The fire wolf stood in and playful stance, his tongue also lolled out of his mouth, with his tail twitching from side to side as he watched his friend. He listened to her talk and started to blush slightly again, while his ego had been boosted. "I knew you'd come around..." He said with a toothy grin as he started flexing for her. "Thank you, I am pretty skilled, aren't I?" He asked while flexing a bicep.
She eyed this wolf in a strange way. She seemed uptight, and on guard. It made Lupita cautious, as though this female was secretly with Ronoh.
"There is a crisis going on in this pack right now." Lupita said, if it wasn't obvious by her starving figure. She was practically skin and bones at this point, besides her little muscle on what was left of her. These days, she completely relied on her element to get her by.
"This pack is in need of warriors." She put it simply. She wanted to attack Sera, and claim the meadow. Without warriors, how would she come about that? She stared at Vivica hard, trying to read her although she was very off putting and seemed out of place.
"Tell me your historical values." She said, wanting to know more about this potential pack member.
She walked forward as the male was showing off. Perfect. Just like she'd guessed. A large smile crossed her face and she continued heading towards him.
"Wait, but, what's that?" She asked, pointing to the males biceps as if something was wrong with them. As soon as she got Braxtons attention off of her, she swiped around and flung her tail, sending a spray of snow shower towards the male. Laughing and falling back into the pillowed snow, She lifted her paw up and pointed at him with laughter.
She sat in the snow with good posture in front of the alpha, so her appearance made a good impression. A warrior position sounded promising to the young teen, her mother nor other members of Inferno never thought she could amount to anything, because she was just a stupid female and that her brother, was so much better than her. Maybe he she could get the proper training that she deserved. After all, her father Jaxon was a warrior, it had to have been in her blood. And as much as she hated her mother, she knew that she was one of the strongest females in the land. "I come from a pack, that's....uh...very strict, I guess you could say. My father was a warrior and my mother...an evil bitch from hell." She said explained to Lupita as she looked down at her paws.
Although this female seemed very different from those she had met in her past, something told Lupita this wolf deserved a chance. Especially the hidden sorrow beneath the words of her mother. Normally Lupita would have called her out for being disrespectful to a mother, but this wolf seemed... different. Perhaps she was raised differently than others.
"I see." She said. She closed her eyes to think for a moment.
"How about a challenge?" She then opened her eyes, looking down to the younger wolf. "You're young. You're strong." She stood, lifting her nose to the air, and letting out a smile.
"Our pack is very hungry. I'd like to see you prove yourself to this pack land. I will give you a few days to go off, and hunt for us. Fish. Specifically. Our pack consists of many wolves, and so I would expect you to construct a way to carry back many fish to us. If you can so prove yourself worthy to become a Ronoh Warrior, Vivica, then so shall it be. Once you return with the fish, I will have our head warrior become your Mentor, and thus you shall be his apprentice. Would you like that?" She asked, wondering if she was up for the challenge.
"And, as for your sister... I have heard of no such intrusion, but the head warrior may know of her where abouts. He's always got his eyes open, and he's always watching his back." She spoke proudly of Akemi, although deep in the back of her mind she hoped he was living up to that word, not flirting with that Dezera wolf.
Her ears perked up as she heard the word, 'challenge'. She was going to be given a chance? That's something she was never given from anyone. A smile spread across her face a little as she looked at the older female, which didn't happen to often since Vivica carried a very large chip on her shoulder because the way she was raised.
Electricity rings circled around her front paws because of her excitement. Then the excitement grew as she heard about the apprenticeship. "Yeah, I would like that." She said as she stood up strong. She had a chance to be someone, a real warrior. She would prove all those that had doubted her that she could actually be someone important and strong. She was NOT a weakling, and the day that she saw her brother again she would demand a rematch. Because she could actually get some proper training from a real head warrior. All she had to do was catch enough fish to feed an entire pack. It did seem like a hard task, but she felt like she could do it, after all she had been through so much this far. "Yes, that sounds perfect! I can do this..." She said as the circles went faster around her ankles.
"Huh...I coulda sworn...eh oh well she probably got lost some where...she's really not my problem anymore..." She said. "Well, I better get started then...I will not let you down Lupita!" She said with a bit more excitement.
He looked down for a brief moment when she pointed to his bicep, really hoping that there wasn't anything wrong. "Huh?" He asked when realized nothing was there. Only to be sprayed with snow, he had just fell for the oldest trick in the book. He then shook the snow out of his fur and bounded after her. "Oh you're gonna get it!" He said as he ran after her. And when she fell into the snow he jumped as well, trying to jump on top of her. "Dog pile!" He shouted.
The electricity seemed to excite Lupita as Vivica was growing excited herself. Her electric currents began to show, mimicking Vivica's from the natural reaction of being around a similar element.
"You are electric?" She asked, a smile on her face from seeing young enthusiasm. The female wasn't quite a pup, so it would take a bit more training if she wasn't trained before, but she had faith that this new female was ready to succeed.
"Bring enough to feed yourself, too." Lupita explained. She was most curious on how Vivica would deliver the fish. Surely it would be a new challenge. Then again, with such a wonderful element.. what could go wrong? Lupita nodded to Vivica.
"I will keep an eye out for your sister. What's her name?" Lupita asked. "Every wolf deserves a chance, Vivica. Don't forget that." She nodded to her once again, giving her a softer smile as her elderly years were making her more tender than strict. Surely Kenny would be excited about a new potential, and young, pack member.
Kali
Kali let out a squeal of fear and laughter as Braxton had come running towards her, and sadly she wasn't quite fast enough to escape his dog pile. Naturally, Kali shouted, "Hibari!!!" As she always had whenever she was in trouble. Her eyes opened wide and she looked up, realizing she hadn't seen Hibari in a very long time. Part of her immediately wanted to go find him, but this new part of her enjoyed how playful Braxton was. She squirmed around, having a disadvantage from being smaller than Braxton. "Urgh! Okay okay you win!" She laughed, still attempting to escape his tackle.
Vivvy nodded as Lupita pointed out her element. "Yes I am." She said with a nod as she noticed the electricity around Lupita's paws as well. She was starting to like this alpha the more she talked to her, it was clear that he saw something in Vivica, because she doubted that this she-wolf would just hand out chances like nothing, especially when the pack was starving, like she said.
"Will do Alpha..." She said with a slight smile and bowed her head. "Oh...her name is Caeli...you can't really miss her, she has the most odd markings..." She explained.
He broke out into a fit of laughter as he landed in the fluffy snow on top of her, wiggling around and giggling. But he was suddenly confused when she shouted someone else's name. Who was Hibari again? Her boyfriend that had made her sad a few days ago? Braxton vaguely remembered him because they didn't get the chance to really interact, and Braxton didn't think that the other male liked him very much from the Vibe he had. But Braxton shrugged it off.
He got off of her, making sure he didn't hurt her or anything. While sitting up he melted a big patch of snow on the ground and decided to make a fire, it was cold out and he figured Kali would also need to dry off from the wetness from the snow so that she wouldn't catch a cold or anything. He circled around the fire and made it dance a little, using his element, still slightly showing off. "You cold?" She asked her.
The female nodded slowly, listening to the electric wolf describe her sister. Caeli. Got it. She said, making a mental note. Odd markings, strange, but alright. She shrugged, looking to the sky.
"You best be on your way, before it gets too late." She nodded, turning and heading in the opposite direction. She offered her chance, and now left it up to the female to finish the job. If she saw her again, she would be more thankful than anything, as she was worried about her wolves not returning from their recent hunt yet.
Lupita headed towards the slumbering Kenny, and nudged him softly. "Kenny?" She asked, tilting her head slightly.
She was slightly relieved when Braxton got off and quickly got up, still smiling and laughing about what had just happened. She looked around, noticing the pack was pretty quiet right now. She wondered where her mom was, normally she was hanging around Kodi or Akemi, but she hadn't seen her uncle recently either.
Kali nodded to Braxton, admiring the fire that was so quickly brought up. She laid down near it, but not too close as the heat was strong to her, not being a fire wolf.
Lifting a paw slightly, Kali used her time element to bend the fire into memories that had played out in her mind recently. It was a way of story telling to her, a silent, beautiful photo. And she could use it through elements, which was great, although she couldn't control the fire, she could make it look pretty neat. Luckily Braxton was there to keep the fire under control.
"Yeah... I'm hungry dude." She sighed. When was the last time she had eaten? She hoped food would arrive soon. Her ears lowered, wishing their pack wasn't going through this starving moment.
He laid down on the other side of the fire, still controlling it to make sure it wouldn't get out of control. He watched Kali play with the fire, turning it into pictures. "Ay, what element are you? That's pretty neat.." He asked with a smile.
He heard his stomach growl as she mentioned hunger, "yeah me too..." He said, he was losing weight quickly. "Winter sucks..." He added with a frown as he looked down at his front paws.
She looked over to Braxton, her little fire-covered pictures sparkling and fading away as she lost her concentration.
"Element? I'm a time wolf." Kali said, smiling. She was never one to brag, but she did feel pretty cool to have such a special element. "Mom said I'm one of a kind." She said, looking up to the stars.
"It's quite amazing, actually. I never forget anything." She looked back to Braxton. "So don't say anything stupid." She grinned, her tail flicking the little bits of water off of her from the melted snow.
He nodded as he listened to her. "It is pretty unique, you're the only time wolf I've ever met. " he said as he looked up at her for a moment. "You're really unique all around, ya know?" He added with a smile. "I've had a lot of fun the last couple days, which is rare for me because I've never done any of this..." He explained to her, feeling that he could kind of be himself around her.
"Blaire, you're lucky you have me. How naive are you? We can't trust he'll be telling us the truth unless we can read minds. He could be lying to us. How many wolves did we believe was true before the truth was revealed and everything was a lie?"Dante turned to look seriously at his sister.
"Right over where?" Dante asked, turning his gaze to follow Blaire's over to the slumbering brown wolf. When suddenly, a wolf about their age raced over that he had never seen before. Dante pushed his muzzle into Blaire to look and watch what the reaction would be. Maybe that would be a good test to see if he could be trusted.
"Dante," Clea suddenly hissed with urgency as if she could sense something bad imminent.
When the wolf laid dead at his paws as Akemi licked his lips from his fresh kill as if it was prey, Dante growled in fear. This was exactly why he didn't want to trust this wolf.
"Blaire...run the other way." Dante ordered, pressing his fur into her's to comfort her...and himself. What kind of wolf was trying to recruit them?
She smiled and nodded to Braxton, agreeing with his words. "I know. Fun is fun, isn't it?" Kali always enjoyed time spent with any wolf she came across, always looking for a grand ol' time. She smiled happily, tail wagging away until she suddenly looked, swearing on her life she had seen someone in the distance, watching her once again. This time, she thought she heard it whisper her name. She blinked hard, looking back to Braxton. The things she felt that were watching her, were beginning to make her feel uncomfortable.
"Braxton, do you think someone is watching us?" She asked, standing up as though she was on guard.
"....have you seen my mom?" She asked, wanting to be by her side.
Her eyes were wide as she witnessed her father mauling a teen-aged wolf to death, but her reaction was much different than her brothers.
"Dante. That. Was. So. Cool!" She said, whispering of course. "Do you think he can teach us to do that?" She turned her head, tilting it to the side as she noticed the fear in him.
"Wait. Are you actually scared of him?" She asked, her eyes turning into thin slices. "Running away from this won't solve anything, Dante. We need to toughen up." She stood tall, the obvious stubborn-ness from her mother showing, flaunting, exploiting her personality. "We can be strong. We aren't babies anymore. It's time to figure out what the hell sort of family we got ourselves born into. Come on. I'm tired of all the stories and lies. It's time to figure out who we are and why we're here." She said, determined that her 'father' could figure out her element for her.
Just as she finished speaking, she heard a familiar voice behind her.
"Where have you guys been all this time? I've been waiting for damned ages."
Blaire stared at her brother, not answering Akemi, and waiting for his reaction,
An appalled expression passed, his eyes widened up. Sure, he may be what one might say cold-hearted, but he was not a cold-hearted murderer. He was shocked by Blaire's confession of wanting to be taught that. She suddenly seemed to be entralled in it all, morphing from her morality into the one he felt when the dark element took over. He took a few steps backwards to stare at his sister as if she grew another head.
"I'm not scared of him."Dante snapped, part of him lying, part of him knowing that this wolf could easily take advantage and overpower him at this age and health state. "What the hell happened to you? You don't need this wolf to toughen you up, and running can be the smartest thing you can do to give time to think." His sense of reason was reeling, trying to do every thing to prevent following after this wolf's bloody paw prints. But when you have two stubborn wolves, nothing was going to be accomplished.
"Fine. If you're so hellbent on finding all this information. You can do it without me. I don't want to know what a mess my bloodline is and I sure as hell will have nothing to do with /that/ wolf." Dante hissed, his eyes suddenly darkening as shadows started to spill out of his mouth.
As Akemi appeared from behind him, Dante's fur was already on end and the surprise was enough to send him jumping to face the wolf. His legs were tensed and automatically lunged at Akemi's shoulder.
She opened her eyes wide at her brother as he pounced towards Akemi. She didn't have any time to respond to his own personal stubbornness, and she immediately turned to watch what would happen.
Akemi was a bit taken off guard by the launch, but he was quick to subdue the male, bringing Dante quickly to his feet, holding him down with one paw.
"Easy, little guy. You've got some power in you." He would have smiled, but as always, Akemi just.. didn't know how, and last thing he wanted to do was... scare them away.
"If you want to get a good chunk out of me, next time, don't go for such a strong body part." He moved his paw to gently press into Dante's stomach.
"Stomach, is always the first goal." He explained. "If you can't get there," He moved his paw towards Dante's cheek, softly pressing into it, not wanting to do any harm.
"The face is your next target. Shoulders are a good start, but you won't really get anywhere with it." Akemi explained. "Although, I'll give you credit. You've definitely got the side of surprise on your end. Did you guys find your helper?" Akemi asked, sitting quietly. He figured they had witnessed the murdering of the younger pup.
"Don't ever stick your nose up a unfamiliar wolves behind in an unfamiliar territory." Akemi explained. "And, if you ever have something like that happen to you, I'd expect you to protect your land, and your behind." He raised his eyebrows, wondering what the pups would be thinking.
"Let's see those helpers. Have you guys had any elemental experiences?" He asked, getting right to business.
Blaire was nervous the whole time the wolf had his hands on Dante, but was surprised to see he wasn't angered by his attack, nor trying to hurt him back. This wolf was obviously experienced. She got up and sat by her brother, locking her tail into his as if silently pleading him to stay.
"This is my helper," Blaire said, as if on cue, Raz hopped off of Blaire's back, sitting by her paws, nestled in the snow.
He nodded to his new friend in agreement. "Yes, fun is fun..." He repeated. But he stood up as she seemed to get a little on edge. "Someone watching us?" He asked as he looked around. He didn't see anything but he was a little on edge himself and bursted into flames, killing the fire in the middle of them, he stood in front of her some, protectively. "No, but I can help you find her if you want." He told her with a nod.
The female closed her eyes, a blistering head ache coming upon her once again.
"I think I've just been out in the cold too long. I'd like to go take a nap in my den..." Kali said, "Maybe Mom's in there. She's normally hiding during this season anyways." Kali let out a sigh as she backed away from Braxton when he bursted into flames. Honestly it was a bit intimidating and she got a little nervous, but she knew it was from good intentions. She smiled at him. "Thanks big bad wolf." She laughed, jokingly.
