New Wolf Era

He let out some sort of growling hiss as the acid hit his face and that made it to where he could barely move out of the way in time. It wasn't a dodge, however, the wolf's fangs would dig into his shoulder and with the more acid it caused great pain. As the wolf first bit into him he took the perfect opportunity to let his two fangs extend and he made a lightning fast move towards the acid wolf's throat. It wouldn't rip, there would be a painless puncture and the quick draining of blood. If it was successful, that is.

Gweneira || Isolde

Eira continued to watch the events unfold from her spot atop the hill, mix matched eyes lowering slightly as if fighting off sleep. "Isolde darling, this battle is, ah, how is it said? Tactless. All they are doing is going at eachother like brutes. You could defeat them without using your beak or talons." Eira chuckled musically, gaze sliding to her helper, who shifted on her icy perch, eyes lit up in a masterful bird equivalent of a cruel smile. The owl leaned forward slightly, her keen gaze watching the fight much clearer than even her wolf, somewhat intrigued by the exchange of blood.

"Your faith in me is appreciated. It sheems as though one of them drinks blood. I could not imagine that an acid wolf's blood would be very... savory." Isolde lifted a wing, absently preeing herself with one eye on the match, though more interested now in the other spectators than the warring brutes. Her wolf's commentary would be more than enough to keep her updated, anyway.

Eira shrugged a bit, sliding down onto her belly, cooling the grass beneath her with some ice. It was a bit too hot today for this Icelandic ice queen. She snorted, "I would never jump above my oponent like that. All he needs is to angle his fangs up just so, and entrails would paint the ground." Eira angled her head up as if to demonstrate, sneering.

Isolde glanced at her mistress, amusement flickering in her gaze briefly, though it was so vague that most would mistake her for continued apathy. "Perhaps we should leave then, if you stand so unimpressed," the owl offered, settling the newly preened wing back at her head, satisfied that every alabaster feather was in its place. Her wolf shook her head, standing up and shouting, her thickly accented voice carrying down the hill. Forget hiding, they were doing this all wrong. "Shred his belly, the fool left it wide open! Gut him!" Though she stomped a paw her face remained rather cool, more critical and annoyed than excited. Just end it already.

No blood dripped from his jaws from the bite, instead it had all been drained into him. There was a slight sizzling sound as the small acid drop wounds lost their sting and healed. His eyes glowed a bright red as the wolf came at him and he jumped up to avoid the hit, with help from his wings and shadows, and since his wings couldn't fly he aimed to land on the acid male.

Gweneira || Isolde

Gweneira puffed up watching the fight, waiting with bated breath for the moment that blood would fly. It was only a matter of time. Claws clicked on the ice behind her, giving her just enough time to make a small hump of ice between herself and the attacker, while she lurched forward. The small hump wouldn't have her crashing into it, but she would more than likely slip up. It would be just enough to give her some leeway for escape, feeling Medusa's forepaws scrape her back ones as she danced out of the way. Abruptly gathering a pillar of ice under her paws, she pushed herself well out of the way, peering down at the acid wolf with bi-colored eyes. Isolde had gotten out of the way quickly, flying around overhead.

"Rat? Oh please, I am not the one sneaking around for an attack, am I? Is that how you always greet potential members, or am I a special case? You appear to be a pack entirely based of tactless brutes." Her tone was cool and detached, though her eyes did briefly flicker. How dare she call her a rat? Glancing to her Helper, Eira scoffed, turning her shoulder to Medusa, though one eye was kept trained on her, and Isolde kept her eyes glued to the acid wolf.

"I agree. Hálfviti." She spat toward the female. "We were simply watching this little battle. My mistress was going to howl, but this fight seemed as though it had most of the crowd. We decided to come and watch, and when it was over, we were going to approach the Alpha. Gladly, I might add." Eira had not bothered to explain herself, so Isolde took it upon herself to do so. However, she purposefully neglected to speak their names. Who was this wolf to have their callings on her tongue, anyway? Some Omega looking to prove herself? The proud stance of the female in truth wasn't unnoticed, but she didn't smell like an Alpha, so as far as the Helper was concerned, she was irrelevant.

Eira's nails dug lightly at the ice, carefully feeling it over. The wolf's acid could melt it if she didn't keep up with it carefully. But she sure as hell wasn't coming down until the other female backed off and decided to speak in a more civil tone. Either that or keep fighting. Eira could play the dodge game all day; she had the upper hand where agility was concerned.

As he came towards the wolf and saw him getting ready to attack, a shadowy copy of himself went his body and morphed and split into sharpened tendrils like what he did before. If the wolf moved he would have a safer landing if the wolf didn't move he would be cut into by the tendrils but still get the dark wolf.

The shadows kept going at the acid wolf when he didn't move. He gouged by the wolf's fangs and claws on his right side he just managed to get his exposed belly. When he landed he would get back from the wolf so he couldn't be attacked again right away.

Vierro

As his alpha called off the fight he walked further away growling, that wolf would hardly meet him in contact fighting and he knew Xavier didn't enjoy the fight. He now noticed the small puncture holes on his chest and shoulders where the shadows had stabbed him. He licked acid into them and felt the scab over almost immediately. He noted the new female and watched the small gathering.

Medusa

It took a moment for the larger and less agile wolf to catch her balance, the ice catching her off guard. It was obvious the female was pissing Medusa off, for acid seemed to drip from her fangs and corrode the grass beneath her paws. "Seems you catch on well," She said, as the female obviously caught on quickly, this wasn't like any other pack. "We don't play games here, rat." She continued to call her exactly what she needed to be called. "I'm not going to waste my time letting a skinny worthless rat sneak around on the packlands. My packlands." Sure, she was a Beta. The land was rightfully hers, as it was the Alpha's. She had just as much say, unless the Alpha considered otherwise. 

The large sized, angry female completly ignored the owl that spoke up, laughing at the shame this couple held. "Atleast I'm brave enough to speak for myself, and can keep my lands safe without intrusion. I am the Beta of these lands, and as far as I'm concerned, your a tresspasser. Need you have other intentions? Speak now." She said, glaring at the female, having not noticed Xaviers approaching until the end of her sentence. She turned to the male, giving a curt nod. "Seems as though the helper speaks for her. I smell a spy." She said in a lower, muffled voice before turning back to the female, knowing exactly what Xavier would be thinking.

Vierro

He heard the female speak of his "inadequate fighting skills" and a low growl escaped his throat as he stood. He made his way to the confrontation his like eyes boring into her, how dare this worthless female speak ill of his fighting. He would accept no training from her. No female would ever teach him how to do something he already know he could do. He sat down the hair on his neck standing on end.

Xena



Her ears perked up as she heard arguing and yelling. She got up from her nap and stretched. She noticed that there was a new comer and growled. She walked up to Medusa and sat next to her, "Ummm, who is this?" She asked the Beta wondering why her father was allowing her on the lands.

Akri

A good part of Akri just wanted to burst out laughing at Xena's comment. Granted, she did bear some resemblance to his master, however that could be a completely cooincidence. But instead of snickering, he just gave her a carefree smile. "Of course you are. And your father dearest asked me to take you out marking."

Akri/Fuhrer

"Why, this way of course, milady." Akri gestured infront of him with a sweep of his paw, eyes glinting with malice. He didn't believe for a second that this squirt was Xavier's pup, and besides, nobody had told him to be nice to her.

Fuhrer rouse himself slightly at the fluttering of wings, and shot a nasty glare up toward the bird. His tongue lashed out as if to say, "don't mess with me."

The dark wolf cracked his shoulders and chuckled. "Peace, Fuhrer." And without further ado, the Alphaservant padded off towards the edge of the packlands to do his business.

Xavier Valkryie III

His eyes shifted to watch Medusa, almost as a glare as she grew dominant. She was beta, yes, but Xavier was here now and no need to over exceed her ranking. His lips pushed back but it seemed she hadn't noticed his presence so the alpha let it slide. His ears merely flickered at Medusa's accusation. He wasn't too worried, she would be easy to take on if she practiced the art of spying. Besides, if a pack tried to invade; Let them.

The blotchy female was fiesty, he had to give her that. She had a strange accent that took a moment for him to concentrate on what she was saying rather than by the way she was saying it, followed by his own urges as to look the female up and down. He felt ashamed that a lone wolf caught onto the pathetic fight, it made Inferno not look good. In return, Xavier felt his blood start to boil.

"Educate? I have no knowledge of your skill, just of the words you finely spew. If you care to demonstrate and prove your worth, give us a taste by taking on Medusa, here." Xavier thrust his muzzle in the direction of Medusa. "If your half the fight that you say you are, I shall welcome you as a member. If not, you'll belong where most females should be, out of the way and dealing with the future of the pack." The alpha pursed his lips. They needed females, especially ones that held her attitude. Though, if she would be a great asset if the white wolf put up a nice fight.

Xena



she growled as he tried to boss her around, "Shut up, I'll do it!" she barked as she glared at him with deep purple eyes. She walked away and did as her father wished. She was annoyed that she had to do these stupid tasks. She rather be training.

ooc: Sooo what do we do if Rai isn't coming back? Just wait or put this part on hold and continue on until she returns....?

Jax. Be decided to approach Medusa again. “ Hello, Medusa. Im very sorry about my absence, I was feeling a bit under the weather but I slept it off. How are you this evening?“ he asked actually interested in how things were with her.

Jax

He inhaled her sweet aroma as she got closer to him. His shadows crept around her friendly like. " Hmmm well maybe you would like to go somewhere out of this heat and chat?" he asked as he ****ed a brow.

Medusa

"Sounds good to me. Let me grab something to eat, first." She said, as they neared the barn. Peeking in, she grabbed a simple rabbit, holding the bloody carcass in her mouth and looking at Jax with a twinkle in her eyes before heading up towards her cave, which was actually the bottom floor of the old house Xavier resided in. 

Once she got there, she turned to look at Jax. "Don't you dare go upstairs." She said, leading him inside and taking a quick left to the extra room, probably an old guest room on the bottom floor. Although it was trashed and empty, Medusa seemed to have made it liveable as there were pelts from rabbits spread across an old area where the bed was probably kept. Throwing the rabbit on her 'bed', she also laid down, panting for awhile and waiting for Jax to enter while she began to feed.

Medusa

As if it was habit, Medusa cleaned the pieces of the rabbit from the fur, picking up the bones, and nastier parts that she wouldn't dare eat, and carrying them to the window. She immediatly dropped them out there, which added to a pile of other bones, guts, and flies. Returning, she laid down with her rear towards Jax, beginning to clean the fur from blood and other parts, making sure it was nice before she were to sleep on it. 

"So, what are your plans for today?" She asked, turning to look at him. The shadows definitely helped keep it cool, and it wasn't long until she was content with the temperature of the room.

Medusa

She spat at the name "Vierro" and looked away in disgust. She disliked that wolf at the moment, he'd have to do a lot to be back on her good side.

"Me? Oh, you know. Well, it's a funny story actually." She said, turning to him. And, just like that, she was practically ontop of him, nipping at his neck, before lifting her head to whisper into his ear. "Something.. dirty." She said, pulling away quickly and walking around him, eyes glued to him with an almost evil smirk on her face. "But, I can't do it alone. Guess I'll have to find someone who can help me with what I need..." She looked around as if acting clueless, her horomones getting the best of her.. Jax was strong, some what attractive.. He'd get the job done. Although, she was rather needy.

ooc; do males go in heat? I didn't know that!! :o!

Medusa

She grinned, hoping that perhaps this may be better than she had expected. "Well, I'm waiting." She said, a bit more rough than expected, almost demanding in a way. Wasn't often a typical male got to breed with a Beta, and she surely wouldn't allow this to make him look more dominant than her. Her tail lashed around, and she grinned. This maneuvor would be much easier if he was acid; her spikey thorns on her back wouldn't matter if they penetrated him. Oh well, guess it would be fun to try, anyways. Turning around, she dug her nose into his neck, trying to find a pressure point before turning and snapping at him, then shoving her rear practically into his nose, as if forcing the bond rather than accepting it.

((False, males actually don't go into heat. They are able to at any time, but once they catch a whiff of a female in heat is when they go crazy to breed.
Secondly, warning, for getting borderline graphic with the mating.))
