He narrowed his eyes at her and stood up straighter and said "Jealous? Of that whimp? Never." he let a low growl run up his throat and said "He won't best me in anything that means something to me. Mating isn't my first priority in this pack and it seems Jax head was elsewhere at the time while he slacked on pack protection." he fumbled to right his opinion because he did want to be better than Jax at everything he did. He hated that punk from the moment he had met him.
She smiled, "Well, Thanks...I appreciate it." She said with a smile. "You are a real gentleman."She said as she blushed. Along with a soft giggle. She was feeling better but still a little weak. She tried to get back to her feet but her legs felt wobbly and she fell into him.
She was glad that she finally got away from that loser of a wolf. She kept marking the boarders and was soon finished. She went back to Inferno, she noticed Veirro and Medusa quarreling, and Akri in the shadows just watching. "Creep..."She muttered to herself. She then noticed Xavier and finally got the courage to approach him. She cleared her throat, "Hello...Xavier. Um, I finished marking the boarders sir." She said as she stood tall. So he wouldn't think she was weak.
"Ah, but that is whhere you are wrong, my friend. Mating is the number one priority the Alpha has given, during this time of year. Only to those worthy though, and as though it seems, you are not. Unless you think otherwise" She mused, just trying to push him over the edge. The word was a blue at that point, leaving a line of sight between Vierro, her next attack move, and her next dodge. She was just expecting a fight, but what would really happen?
He moved closer to her his scent blooming around him subconsciously "I don't believe you don't find me worthy." His voice held a confidence that matched the soothing tone in his voice. His eyes searched hers, his face about a foot away wanting to know what her motives were. This whole thing didn;t seem right, her words felt transparent to what they were saying but they seemed to hold a different meaning entirely.
She let out a growl as the male approached, easily holding her head proudly above his. "I dont find a contendor worthy until he proves his place," She glared at him, just waiting for him to make a move. Her eyes locked onto his, holding a diligent hard stare that seemed almost pupped like, while digging into him at the same time. "Just depends on your wits, if your brave enough to show your worth." She threatened.
He narrowed his eyes and said "What should I do to prove my worth then?" His tail whipped though the air becoming sick of these games. He was determined to get what he wanted, to spite Jax. He ****ed an eyebrow waiting for her response not understand how she wanted him to prove himself.
Her eyes narrowed at him, "Do I really need to say? In all reality, its your choice. Fight, or F***," A grin formed to her features, wondering which destination the male would choose, in order to show his worth.
He gave a slow smiled and said "I think you know my choice then." He growled as he circled her letting her spikes trail along his skin before he stopped behind her and growled before grabbing her with his claws giving her a last minute to think her decision though. His eyes were glowing with success at spiting Jax. He could do just was well as he could and many times even better.
The female stood there, adrenaline giving in a bit since he obviously didnt choose to fight. Surely, he wanted to show Jax up, but, didn't he just make a point that he wasnt about mating? Giving a grin of pure winnage to their arguement, she allowed him to pay his dues, and considered this an apology. "Grant me my every wish, and perhaps you'll closen to the amount of duty that Jax paid to me. Only time will tell." She turned her head to glare at him, almost as if annoyed about the time he was wasting standing there, and not getting on with it.
Nodded and paid no mind to her spines as he got on with his business. The acid from her wouldn't hut him horribly and at most it would just make him nausea for a little while. He was beyond determined to prove himself and did the best he could. He released her from his claws and remained on his paws before moving away from her again his pulse now thrumming along with adrenalin..now he wanted to fight but he doubted she would be up for it.
She let out a grin as the male dismounted and seemed to still want to go on. She though, preferred to lie down. Her stomach was hurting, for some strange reason, and she didnt feel all too good. None the matter though, she offered him a half smile, half annoyed look. Yeah, it was possible. "Guess the pups will determine the true dominant figure. Whoever looks more like the father will explain it all. So, time will tell. Unless you both failed to reproduce, in which Xavier would not be pleased." Surely he would be angered at her game, never caring about who was better in the reproduction but only caring about the offspring. "Thanks, for joining the competition." And with that, she began walking away. Oddly enough, she ran into something as she hit the darkness. "The heell?" She shouted, backing away and glaring at the spy.
He laughed as he walked away, pups? They wouldn't be his and he deffinatly wasn't going to take care of them. He wouldn't claim them what so ever. Veneno seem'ed over joyed at the prospect of his mating and Vierro slapped the annoying snake away and went to lay down.
Akri ~+~ Well, this show turned out to be quite interesting. And though he was for watching drama, he didn't want to see what unfortunatly followed, and averted his eyes. He must have left them there too long as he was promply run over by the self-same beta. As nonchalantly as he could, Akri rose and gave a small bow to Medusa. "It seems you have caught me napping." He murmured good-heartedly with a glint in his eye. "Pardon me for getting in your way. So sorry. Now, is there anything I can do for the Miss Beta?"

The wolf used his wings to sort of hold her when she fell "Just take it easy, I got you." He looked down at her and smiled assuringly "No need to hurry."
She looked up at him and smiled as he caught her, "Oh okay...thanks." she thanked him again as she sat back down close to him As their fur mingled. She couldn't help but smile he had been the nicest to her since she has been in Inferno. She usually didn't act like this around males but she couldn't help but be nervous around him and have butterflies.
The alpha was strolling around the center once more, enjoying the sunshine that the summer brought. He typically enjoyed the cooler, autumn months but he couldn't pass up a day such as today. He smelt a metallic scent approuching, causing him to slowly move his head toward the direction. Noticing it was only Xena, he flickered his tail in mild recognition. "Good, at least we have have one wolf doing something productive." He said with exasperation. He continued walking before turning to look over at her, she was starting to get her mother's build from what he could remember of her. Maybe he was mixing it up with some other wolf. He never remembered. "Did you need something?" He asked finally, wondering why the apprentice was sneaking up on him.
She shook her head, "No, Just kind of wanted to talk...or maybe train some more. Veirro is busy with Medusa and I haven't seen Tahlia. Maybe you could teach me something?" She asked hoping to spend some time with him. Maybe get to know him a little better. She spoke respectfully and contained her posture.
For a moment as he sat there with her, he felt something. A twinge in his heart, something he hadn't felt in a long time. He dismissed this, she is prey. Someone to keep he from going hungry and weakening. He looked up and at the dark of the rafters with his mind beginning to wander "Tell me about yourself. What you like and what you dislike."
She thought about the question for a moment, "Like in general?" She asked wondering if he was asking about anything in particular. "Umm...I like anything interesting, Odd or strange...I dislike being bored or things being unorganized." She started to name off. "What about you?" She asked before she started to talk about herself to much.
The alpha stared blankly at Xena, watching her coldly. Train a female? What did he look like, a mother? He took in an inhale before shaking off his fur. "Very well then. Learn from the best." Xavier commented, stretching out his limbs. If he was going to pass, he might as well have a fit sucessor...even if it was a girl. Xavier couldn't wait to claim someone and have them produce healthy, male offspring.
"Alright, what did they teach you so far? I don't want you to learn repeats." Xavier swung around, taking a different route to a more battle area location.
Hia head remained looking upwards as he thought "I like.... hunting by the moon light. The heart beat of the prey, the blood pumping as it runs. The pounce, the kill. And most recently..." he looked back down at her "...a certain female wolf with pretty teal eyes. As for what I dislike, nothing in particular."
She padded beside him as he walked away from their current location. "Well, Veirro Tought me how to use my element while fighting and how to dodge a little bit...That was about it other than hunting with Tahlia." She explained.
He turned to look closely at her. "That's it?" Xavier was disappointed by this lack of teaching. Then again, most hunting belong to the females. Xavier positioned his body to look at her, he was still considerably larger than her. "Well, since I'm the only wolf that possesses the same element as you. I shall teach you that, along with fighting techniques. Dodging doesn't get much out of it, just frusteration from the opposing wolf." Xavier recalled, watching her.
"Firstly, I want to square your shoulders. It gives you a more intimidating posture and allows you to hold your ground for when a wolf attacks. More stability. With our element, you can coat your claws with them which makes easier to stand your ground, especially if you flare out your furs into needle-like materials."
"Secondly, lundge. Pick a target and aim for it, try to guess what the next wolf would do if you aim there. Such as at the face, prepare for fangs and the wolf to leap up to avoid it. Try this now." Xavier squared himself off, staring deeply at her with a cold gaze. His ears flickered, waiting for her attempt to attack his face.
She blushed as he mentioned that he liked her. “Me?....“ she asked to make sure he was refering to her. “ Im starting to like a certain male as well.“ she said with a smile.
She did as he said and squared her shoulders along with coating her claws and fangs with a metal armour. Her fur stood up like needles. She set her target on his shoulder. She lunged towards him with her metal claws and tried to attack him.
The female eyed him suspiciously, before shrugging it off and continuing on. "Yeah, you any good with pups? I'm gunna need a babysitter, eventually." She growled, not wanting any pups, if they come along, to ruin her Beta responsibilities.
Akri ~+~ The darkness wolf tilted his head slightly. "Well, I'm not sure how well I am with children, seeing as I've never been around them. If you order it, I shall do it to the best extent of my abilities, my lady." Akri sank into a graceful bow, though shallow. "But my duties end at sunset. My master would not be pleased with me if the other tore them to pieces."

"As do my duties, seeing as though I am not needed at night, unless we are under attack." She muttered, turning to face the male and sit before him, staring at him with an odd eye. "Males disgust me." She muttered, obviously annoyed at the scenarios of the needy males, and to the extent that they could have gone to to win her over. So competitive, it drove her mad. Staring at Akri for awhile, she finally spoke up. "Males are competitive, always trying to win, to be on the top. And yet you stand here and allow others to order you around, taking the role of Omega without a bother or argue. Why don't you stick up for yourself? Why do you like to be viewed as weak? Dont't you want pride? Dont you want to be known to this cruel and unfair world in a higher position than a slave?" She watched him, wondering why he was so... strange.
Akri ~+~ Akri quirked a brow, but merely nodded. "Then it's settled. I shall watch over them by day, and my lady by night." As Medusa took a spot before him, the ashen grey male took a step back and ****ed his head. Well this was a rather interesting turn of events. "Oh? Well, I suppose my lady is correct on all of those accounts. Males are known to be almost a completely different species entirely." His eyes closed in a carefree smile.
"Weak? Pride? A slave? I'm not sure what you mean, my lady. The clan that I was born into had always been chosen to guard and serve the alpha. We were outside the normal caste system, serving only those worthy of it. However, that position seems to take on a completely lower level here. Of my strength, I am sure. Of my pride, it is entact. Servitude is my sworn duty; my birthright, which I will fulfill unto the end of my days."
As he said all of his, a paw went to his chest, right over his heart. Akri bowed his head once again and took a seat. "Is there anything you needed me for, my lady?"

This made him chuckle "Is that so?" his wing moved back to being behind. "Well, I had a great time with you today but I don't want to keep you from your duties. Unless you are still feeling weak....?" he asked, despite that he wanted to stay.
She raised an eyebrow, looking at him as if he was foolish to be living such an idiotic life. "Don't you stride to be the one cared for? Here, it works the same way, but you do not act as though you are weak. Hunters, they hunt for the alpha, such as you say to serve, they serve food for all, such as Tahlia. Warriors, they protect the Alpha from anything that intrudes, such as a predator, doing all that it takes to keep the Alpha and others safe. Healers, they dedicate their life to their pack mates to ensure the Alpha has healthy members that won't keel over in a moment. You sir, have taken the role of an omega, which does nothing more but allows the Alpha to take advantage of you, seeing as though you have no talent to keep his life roling besides a simple anger management toy." She glared at him, before growing softer eyes, for a moment. Probably the horomones.
"Akri. Look, you have potential. Why don't you try? You never know, you could be an Alpha one day. We all strive to be the best, why don't you feel that? Why do you enjoy the mockary. If you truely want to guard and serve the Alpha, why don't you adjust to this pack life and become a warrior. Warriors do as you describe. Your role, is no where close." By the time her words ended, her hard stare returned and she rolled her eyes. "You probably don't understand. You're just like all the other men, aren't you?" She said, waiting for a reply, as she watched him for any signs of threat. Even if he was an omega, she was never off guard.
"Xavier will probably call if he needs anything, and theres enough food in the barn for now..." She said not really wanting to leave him just yet. "I was hoping maybe we could chat some more, I'd like to get to know my hero better after all." She said in her thick accent trying to pronounce the words right.
He cracked a grin "Well I'll be happy to oblige. Though to be honest, I'm a terrible conversationalist." His words were true, he could throw in a good couple of conversation starters but after he would run dry.
She smiled, she didn't take him to be the awkward type. "I am kind of the same way..." said with a shy smile. She nuzzled into him a little more. "So, what do you do for fun, Mr. Marcus..." she said a little more flirty this time.
"I hunt, but I bet you figured that out, I also stand in high places with my wings spread. Imagining that I am of an element that has the gift of flight. To be born with wings I cannot use is....quite torturous. I enjoy swimming though there doesn't seem to be any decent place here. I apologize if I come off a bit boring." In all the years since his curse and banishment he hadn't come across many things he would consider fun.
She giggled at him, he did sound a little boring but she enjoyed his company anyway. "I love swimming, we could always try the swamp. It might be a little warm and mucky. We could always make it into a good time though." She suggested to him with a wink.
He nodded in agreement "As long as you are there with me I am certain will be a splendid time." the male stood now and waited for her reply and also to see if the side effects from his bite had worn off yet.
Akri ~+~ "Oh, I do understand. Where you're comming from, at least." Akri countered smoothly, ruffling his feathers. "Although I have the skill enough to become perhaps a great warrior or hunter, it would not be the same." He gave a small sigh and lazily ****ed his head to one side. "You see, it is my pride that keeps me from becomming any of those. Being a warrior means that I shall have to fight for those I do not hold respect for. Becomming a hunter means that I shall have to fill bellies whom I hold in less-than high reguards. To do either of those will mean disgracing my proud lineage by serving the common."
"Servitude is my life, my lady. Without it, I have no purpose. My life is aimless. However, I shall only serve those whom I have deemed fit to be served. That list includes both my lady and my master. I am pleased that you hold me in regard high enough to suggest that I might become alpha."
"But I'm afraid that as my mind is made up; against your views, I am but just another male after all." Akri's scarlet eyes were hidden behind a carefree smile. "Pardon me."

She rolled her eyes, "Oh please. With that attitude, you're nothing more than an omega. Alpha? Maybe if you slaughter the pack in your dreams." She mused, eyes seeming to fade over as she imagined the view, almost enjoying the idea of it.
Then, her stomach felt rather odd, and she had to look to the ground, and close her eyes for a moment. "If you'll excuse me, I'm feeling.. odd." She said, standing. "Have a good night, Akri." She looked up, noticing the moon was already exposed. Figuring Akri would transform anyways, she quickly headed away, only to end up throwing up behind the barn. Acid mixed with vomit was not a pretty sight, and it didn't smell too good either..
Quickly making her way towards her sleeping area, she accidently ran into a couple, Tahlia and Marcus.
"It's late, shouldn't you two be doing something.. apart?" She glared, hoping that their awkwardly close companionship wouldn't be leading onto something. "Xavier wouldn't like to see this sort of affection. Cut it out, or the new guy goes." She glared at Marcus, knowing he was still a trial member, and wouldn't be for long if he was here for all the wrong reasons.
Akri ~+~ "Begging your pardon, my lady." Akri bowed low once again before standing. "Oh?" He chanced a glance upwards and his blood ran cold. How had he not noticed the approaching night? Curse him! Praying that he did not lose his sanity between the precious few seconds that he used to teleport, the dark wolf engulfed himself in shadows and holed himself up in his prison once again.

He watched her with anticipation, hoping that she'd get the hang of it. He was sure she wouldn't harm him, being young and inexperience, she'd probably fail. That was where teachings came in, right? Xavier's eyes flashed as she lundged out at him. Xavier's jaws snapped open, planning to grab her by the neck or back and fling her down to the ground roughly. His body curving to the opposite way to avoid being snagged by any flailing limbs.
"Try again."
He'd push her, make her do many different routines to get a feel of predictions with each target. He wasn't going to skirt around it, no, he'd be rough and Xavier was sure there would be injuries.
She got up, now feeling much better. She padded out to the of the building and over to the swamp. She first dipped her front paws into the warm muddy water, then plopped in. She looked over toward Marcus. “Come on in. Its nice.“ she said trying to sound convincing.
Xena
She landed hard on the dirt floor. Sh grumbled as she got up. She tried again this time trying to latch on to his neck like he mentioned before.
Sorry i didnt catch medusas post. Kinda hard with my phone.
Tahlia
She didnt like that she wasnt aloud to get close to anyone but xavier. She just got up and walked away she was feeling a little embarrassed. She went to go hunt to clear her mind.
ooc: September 7th, she is due. :) Hopefully I can get on then. and sorry.. is this color better maybe? Kinda girly for Medusa but whatever lol
Medusa
Although her stomach seemed to be buldging, and wearing her down, it didn't cause her to slow down and she watched carefully as Tahlia made her way to another part of the pack. Now, turning to Marcus, the female let out a low warning growl. "Xavier commands partnership. As far as I'm concerned, you shouldn't be communicating with her unless under his or my command. You're a warrior, she's a hunter, correct? Keep it that way." She said, glaring at the male. Surely, he should know his place in this pack. It wasn't like the others, and if anyone had a problem with it, they could sure as hell leave.
On the other hand, she was feeling the urge to have some fish. Looking around, Medusa wondered if Tahlia hunted for fish at all, and figured she didn't. The mucky waters convinced her otherwise, and she sniffed around for something more appatizing..
He simply dipped his head to the acid female as Tahlia made her way off "Of course, the rules are rules. I'll make sure it won't happen again." He was tone was calm and with respect, but his eyes flashed red. Now he was left without the possibilities of seconds. Acid wolf blood was not very appetizing and if it didn't burn his throat it certainly left a sour taste in his mouth.
She gave him a nod, finding it odd how simply he accepted her ruling. Perhaps Tahlia was the one being the daredevil, and he simply had no mind in it. "You should be heading to bed. Akri likes to feast on those out past dark." She grinned, making a motion towards the cage that Xavier built, trapping the beast inside. Not too concerned about this male anymore, she made her way into the barn, settled for a vole, and headed towards her sleeping grounds. Her stomach was paining, as though she had some sort of a stomach ache, but worse. With concern, she placed her vole down and nipped at her stomach, biting for quite some time and leaving a patch of raw skin that seeped with acid. Now not only did her stomach hurt, but it burned aswell. Although she could tolerate her acid, it still was never a plesant element to deal with.
Settling down and eating the small vole in one quick snap, Medusa let out a sigh. "Guess I'm pregnant." She admitted, to herself. Glancing at an old broken mirror laying against the wall in the corner of her room, she frowned at herself. This wasn't typically what she wanted to look like, knowing she was going to be a mother. Wasn't the most romantic thing in the world either, lying on the ground completly alone and expecting.
Giving a mutter, Medusa slammed her head to the ground, forcing herself to try and sleep away the stomach pains in her abdomin.
He raised an eyebrow at her words "Feast, eh? This is quite....interesting." He looked to the cage Medusa had pointed and made his way towards it. Just to see what kind of beast this pack had within its ranks.
