New Wolf Era

Medusa

She watched him, almost with a stupid look on her face. Where was he getting at? "Well, if I wanted a strong heir to breed with, the fate would be obvious." She said, in a matter-of-fact tone. "Little do you know, Xavier gave me the choice to choose who I want to be with. Also, for your information, I go for a little more than a fight of dominance. I don't want just any mate. I want THE mate." She was glaring at him now, figuring he thought poorly of her, although she was just trying to figure out her choosings. But fine. She'd find someone else to breed with, if that was the case.

"I won't be wasting your time anymore, If I wasn't interested in what I produced, I would have done it the heartless way, as a battle." She said, feeling the acid pour from her lips as she spoke.

"But obviously, girls can't have hearts for others around here without being questioned on their intentions. Very well." She turned around, not caring if the male followed her at this point. She didn't need to choose Jax OR Vierro, for all she cared. Another male would come along, eventually.

Right?

Xavier Valkyrie III

"I see." Xavier said plainly, emotionless as he spoke. It seemed pretty common. He wasn't sure why she cared so much to check in with him, but Xavier said nothing. "How's the prey stock in the shed?" He asked, pointing his muzzle in that general direction. She was pretty much the only hunter around, so she should have been ontop of all the hunting. Besides, it wasn't like there was a lot of mouths to feed.

"How are you liking Inferno so far?" He asked casually, not really caring about the answer she had. Either way, she'd be staying and Xavier would make sure of that if she expressed regrets on choosing this pack.

Tahlia


"Theres still some in there, I'll go on a hunt tonight and get fresher food." She said with a nod of her head. "Oh, I like it here, it's a lot better then being around a bunch of Catty and whiny wolves...-" She was going to say more but then Medusa walked up. "Morning Medusa." She said with a nod of her head.

Marcus Dragomir

He cracked his neck and stretched his back, the fall ha dnot been....enjoyable. He had walked around a bit after that looking at the different places and nothing he saw could compare to his homeland. Thinking about it now made him homesick so he shook his head as if to clear his thoughts. There was something worse that he needed to worry about, it had been a long time since his last feeding.

Tahlia


She nodded as Xavier walked off, she was also wondering if Xavier was going to give her mating privileges since he had mentioned it before. She really didn't have a problem with any of the males. "I wonder if he's going to let me mate this spring as well." She said trying to change the subject with Medusa.

Medusa

She stopped speaking when Xavier spoke, completly ignoring her answer. Well, guess she was on her own. "Fine then," She shrugged, getting ready to storm away before she heard Tahlia speak. "Why would you even think of breeding? who'd want to mess up a sexy figure like yourself?" She said, in a jealous tone. Medusa didn't care about having pups, since she had a more masculine figure over Tahlia's feminine one. "Suit yourself, but, don't get too excited about it, the males around here are weak and pathetic." She said, "Especially Vierro, just so you know." Yeah, she went there. Medusa didn't mind talking to this female, it was kinda nice talking to estrogen over testostrone.

Xena


She was thrown to the ground but she jumped back up her arm was slightly bleeding but it wasn't a deep wound. She lunged at him with her metal claws and she aimed for his shoulder.

Xavier Valkyrie III

The silver wolf was already making his way over to the winged wolf, seeing as the wolf was oblivious to the fact he was on pack lands. A snarl was placed on his face as he increased his pace, his coat slowly glimmering as little pins seemed to form where his fur was, making his fur look slick to the touch.

He kept his posture fully dominant, never wavering or doubting. Even as he grew closer, the wolf seemed to be about the same height as Xavier. Approuching, Xavier made it known that this was his land. He pounced at the winged wolf, his claws soon coated in a thick metal.

"Trespassers aren't treated too kindly." He snarled before his jaws snapped open in a threatning bite, but wasn't aiming to sink in just yet. If the wolf retaliated, then Xavier would go into full offensive mode.

ooc: Just a warning, be careful when fighting, give the other roleplayer a chance to respond to one attack before placing another. Thanks!

Medusa

She shrugged. "Vierros a jerk, always sleeping, always an ass." She laughed, "Jax? Interesting in bed?" She laughed even harder. "We'll see about that." She had no respect for either males at the moment, just because she was so annoyed.

"Well, I'm gunna go figure some things out since obviously Xavier will be pissed if I'm not knocked up by fall." She mused, rolling her eyes and starting to walk away from Tahlia. "Thanks for the convo," She added, giving her a more friendly smile this time. 

Yes, Medusa wasn't always a bitch. (Just, most of the time)

Xavier Valkryie III

The alpha felt the wolf slip away into a shadow right as he pounced, feeling the icy coldness underneath his paws. He landed right where the other wolf was, but now it appeared the wolf formed back farther off. Xavier snarled, tossing his head to the side to watch the wolf. This creature better not of been messing with him.

"You can help me by telling me why your on my territory, rogue, before I help remove you from my lands." He snarled, bracing himself to attack once more if the wolf didn't comply. Another darkness wolf, shouldn't be too hard. He already had two other members that possessed the same element.

Xavier Valkryie III

"Stroll or not, I don't take kindly to wolves that pass my scent lines." Xavier growled, his ears folded flat against his head. He eyed the wolf carefully, taking a few steps forward toward him. He was in a full dominant stance. This wolf seemed to care little about the boundries or who was in charge. Xavier would show him who was in charge soon, but he had to admit. This wolf had some guts to show up and not retain a cool stance, not showing defensive or offensive tactics when confronting the alpha.

"What do you want?" Xavier asked coldly, almost as cold as the metal that he held.

Marcus Dragomir

His nose twitched, there was a new scent with blood that smelled rancid. It disturbed him. His attention quickly turned back to the wolf who was approaching him "I highly doubt you would willingly give me what I want. I suppose I'll have to settle for the next best thing." He would dip his head slightly before bringing it back "I wish to join your pack." There were multiple ways what he just said could have been taken and it seemed he might be the only one to get it.

Xavier Valkryie III

Noticing the new wolf's eye contact had changed over to something farther behind him, Xavier swung his head around and glared as he noticed it was Akri. Turning to look back at the new wolf, he figured the wolf was poking fun at Akri's size or position in the pack.

"Pay little mind to him, he only serves the pack. Your attention should fully on me, half-breed." Xavier snapped with impatience. Seeing the act of respect toward him once more, Xavier's eyes gave off a glint. He may just be a good pack wolf.

"Very well then. I do not accept wolf so quickly on a whim. First, I need a name. I'd say element, but I noticed that damn shadow act you pulled on me. Next, I shall summon one of my wolves to duel with you. If I see potential, I'll allow you in. If not..." Xavier gave off a chuckle before he took a nasty snap of his jaws in the air to test his point. This wolf would be a goner if he was weak. Xavier hoped he was to be proven wrong.

Xavier Valkryie III

Xavier walked in a peaceful bliss for a moment, watching the wolves seem to size each other up. For some reason, Xavier loved the feeling of the first attack done in a fight. It brought a thrill to him. Even if Marcus either wasn't intimidated or just too idiotic to prepare for an attack. C*ckyness. Wasn't the best trait, but it definitely wasn't the worse. Taking a step back, his head craned proudly before his amber gaze turned toward Vierro.

"Now."

Marcus Dragomir

Only his head moved until the wolf came to snap at him, at which time he got to his feet and got out of the way all in the same move. Now standing, he watched the acidic one as he circled. Four black shadowy tendrils came up from the shadow he cast. They shot forward at his opponent, the tips ready to pierce into flesh fi they hit.

Gweneira || Isolde

Silent wings carried the owl overhead, sharp yellow eyes observing the events below. It seemed there was a fight going on, or perhaps a test, as the Alpha seemed to will one to fight the other. Whether it was a test of mettle or a punishment, Isolde couldn't be sure from her high point, but in any case, they were distracted. No wonder they hadn't been noticed yet, she and her wolf. In any case it was best that she be getting back to tell her what was going on. Howling would do no good if they were caught up, it might be best for once to just go herself. Banking to the left, Isolde flew back to the edges of the Inferno Pack territory.

It didn't take long for her to reach her wolf, swooping down and landing on a cypress branch overhead, her talons gripping it snugly. Glancing up at the owl, Eira's mismatched eyes narrowed slightly. Isolde folded her wings against her sides neatly, clearing her throat before speaking. "It seems that they are fighting. You may have better luck simply going in," the bird said, the sort of airy quality of her speech hard to hear from a distance if you were not accustomed to the sound. Fortunately her wolf was, and hopping from the branch and fluttering down to fly overhead her wolf, she was greeted with a slow nod and a small smile.

"Shall we?" It would be interesting to see how this panned out for them at least, strolling in unannounced, and in the middle of a brawl, though perhaps that would be through by the time they arrived. "Stay close, Isolde, I do not want you being eaten." The bird gave her a wry look, flying higher into the sky. Eira snorted with amusement, picking up her pace. She wanted to get there quickly. For most the swamp might have been hard to get through, but luckily she was able to simply freeze a path through the mires, her well-furred paws helping her grip it steadily.

So it wasn't much longer before she finished her way through the swamp, cresting a small hill to look over the pack. Indeed there were two males fighting, one clearly darkness and the other acid by the way his jaws were slavering. "Vhell, this is a good show, hmm?" She asked, crafting a small perch of ice for her Helper to rest on.
