She was quiet as the male spoke, not entirely sure where he was going with this until he spit it all out. Yami felt flustered at the thought of having a mate, it threw her off in a way, and she didn't exactly know how to react. Watching him quietly, she was silent and unresponsive, just beat red with embaressment.
After what felt like hours but was only merely a few minutes, Yami was able to choke out a response, a nervous one for that matter.
"I-I, Um.." She said, breaking eye contact as her eyes shifted to her paws which moved in a fidgety way.
"I suppose that would be nice," She said, looking up at him as if afraid to say yes. "We can talk about it when you get back." She figured that would give her some time to really take this all in, it was a lot for her to handle and the time he would spend away would give her plenty of time to think. She offered an innocent, scared smile, obviously nervous but excited as well. Would she finally have a mate? A Father for Kali? Was this really happening, or would it all switch around on her like it typically did?
The young brute growled as he got dirt in his eyes. He thought it was ridiculous that the alpha did such a cowardly move. But he could tell that the alpha was getting old and probably didn't have as much of a chance. Luckily Braxton had trained in the desert where there was always sand in his eyes. Braxton stepped back and breathed fire as the Alpha lunged at his neck. He had a long scrape and it was bleeding but Braxton kept going. He then lunged at the alpha aiming for his face.
She nodded to Karasu and then looked over at Kali. "I show you..." She said as she dashed over to a tree and ran up it. Her flowers in her coat started to bloom again. She made the sling shot type vines in the tree again like she first did when she had met Karasu. She positioned herself correctly and then flung herself out of the tree and did a flip in the air and then landed about ten feet in front of the tree. "Wooohoooo! that was fun. You try?" She asked them.
He smiled and then nuzzled into Yami, he was happy that she wasn't totally freaking out about everything he had told her. He then leaned in to lick her muzzle. "Okay, Sounds good." He said with a sweet smile. "Well, would you wanna come hang out with me until I leave?" He asked her. "We could go chill and talk in my cave." He suggested. It was getting hotter and Kodi wanted to get out of the son for a little while.
Dante looked plainly at Blaire. "Then pick a helper already!" He let out a snort of exasperation. She was complaining about looking for helpers, this was her idea and she couldn't even choose which one she wanted. When something whacked him, Dante turned around with a growl. He gave her a look that clearly read, What did I do?
He soon chased after Blaire, soon laughing and pointing a paw at her as she tripped. Blaire looked so stupid. He approuched the turtle and prodded at it with his paw. Noticing it peek a small head out, Dante watched it before he started to stomp the creature continuously with his front paws. The shell started to crack, but it was still sturdy.
"I don't know, but it freaks me out." Dante grumbled before kicking it with his paws and sending it skidding into a bush. Dante pushed off his paws and poked his head into a bush. He got a few scrapes along his muzzle from a few thorns before hearing two hushed voices inside, he couldn't see through the branches.
"Just go out there."
"No, have you seen how they treat them."
"They won't if you explain it to them."
"Why don't you? I'd rather not die upon granting his element. He needs to learn."
"That's your job. To teach him, but if you're not going to do it. I might do that, since his mother hasn't."
Dante pushed out of the bush with a confused look. He easily recognized one of the voices of Nile, the other was foriegn to him.
Kenpachi ~+~ Even though his reflexes were still sharp, they were a hint too slow. But luckily, instead of having his face burned off, must of the flame was directed up and over by a coat of armor at the very last second-but his cheeks and mane were a little singed. "Good turnaround time. Excellent." The larger male stood his ground as he was lunged at, but moved so his shoulder took the brunt of the attack while an oversized paw moved to whack the newcommer offbalance.

Naomi smiled at her daughter, standing up on her legs. "Let's get out of here. We could use some fresh air. Let's go explore around here." Naomi started to walk off, knowing Kori would be soon in her tracks. She couldn't believe how much Kori was growing, and into such a sweet and beautiful wolf. Naomi blinked her eyes, feeling the heat cling to her thick fur. Ice formed along her back to coat it, giving off a sparkling shimmer as she walked. Naomi turned back, giving a small smile before going into a gentle run. It would be good to stretch out her legs and she didn't doubt Kori to have the same agile speed as herself. Naomi headed off toward the lake that harbored in Ronoh. It was always refreshing to wade around in it's waters.
She would just have to watch out to make sure they didn't use up too much energy. The beta wasn't the first to notice the lack of food, and she could feel her bones starting to show. Maybe they could be lucky and find a fish, Naomi needed something to feed Kori. She was growing and needed all the strength she could get.
They had finally got into a tussle, and as they rolled around for the dominance to be on top. She felt his fangs knock into her own at times. He was right, it had been a while since she was mutually matched. He was busy fighting and training, while she wasting away being pushed to raise her young. Inevitably, her grasp loosened and she snarled in return, followed by a fierce shake of her head as he blew into her ear along with a bite to it.
"The ear thing, really?"She openedly complained, brushing her paw against her head to get rid of the strange sensation. After she rubbed her ear, Dezera raised her eyes up to meet his defient ones. "How would you like it, hm?"Dezera asked, striking out in the hopes to grab a hold of his ear to make it easier to blow into his own one.
Her eyes opened wide as the strange looking green wolf did some strange looking weird cartwheel/boomerang thing from the trees. Kali was brave, and loved adventures, but this made her a bit nervous and she didn't know if she'd be alright with doing something... so.. insane. Turning to Karasu, Kali smiled encouragingly, hopefully convincing the Alpha's heir to go before her.
"Oh, Karasu, you try first. I like watching more, and, I like the ground more." She laughed, smiling sweetly at the females.
The sudden affection made Yami a bit on edge, but she eased up as it was all love, and not pain. Hesitantly, she returned the nuzzle but was too nervous to return his lick. Maybe someday. She was beginning to trust Kodi more and more, but the thought of her rapist would never leave her mind, always leaving a scar on her life, no matter what. It was something someone would always carry with them, hopefully some day she would let it go.
She nodded quietly at Kodi, agreeing with his idea. "Sounds good to me, you must be hot out here." She said, figuring being an ice wolf was a bad thing for the summer, even if Yami loved the sunlight. She didn't mind the cool weather either, always so used to the cold because of her brother. Standing, Yami allowed Kodi to take the lead to his cave.
She watched her brother with wide eyes as he flicked the turtle around, her straight face widening into a large smile as he sent the turtle flying. "Now this, is why I love you." She muttered to herself, chasing after her brother as his rump was sticking out of a bush and he seemed preoccupied. "Whatchya lookin' at?" She asked, piling in with him as she too, heard the strange voices of others. Pulling out of the bush and looking to her brother, her head tilted to the side, trying to figure this all out.
"Wait, don't helpers talk?"
A devious smile approached her face. Had they finally found them?
He was growling from pure acknowledgment from his success to his blow into her ear - but he was quickly conflicted with the return blow, both negative and positive in his aspect. Feeling the shivers get sent down his spine, he was quick to turn, attempting to nip at her face since she was so close to his ear. He wasn't trying that hard, and most likely missed, but in the mean time he turned his paws to snatch onto her, attempting to rather.. tear her to the ground.
"If you want to play dirty, I'll play dirty." He grinned.
Dante looked at Blaire with a straight face. "Helpers do talk."He reconfirmed her outloud thoughts. "One is mother's helper, I know that voice anywhere." Dante boasted, making him sound like he was clever for knowing such information. For some reason, Nile always hung nearby the yearling. It gave him the creeps at first, but Dante soon became accustomed to it.
"I hope it's mine, you've had your chances." Dante replied with a gruff bark at Blaire. "I'm going in."Dante suddenly leaped into the bushes. He felt a strange vibration, a tingling all over his body but where he landed...there was nothing. No voices were even heard.
Dante fought his way through the thorns, pin pricks of blood covered his body. They didn't hurt, just stung when jumping in. He still felt tingly all over, but put the blame on getting hurt by the bush.
"They're gone." He replied dejectedly before swinging around and noticing Nile slide out from behind them, facing them with his hood fanned out.
He smiled as she nuzzled into him, he was glad that she was finally coming around. "Yeah, the summer isn't my forte." He said with a slight chuckle. He then lead her to his den, it was always nice and cool in there. He walked in and laid down and wagged his tail as she came in after him. He just looked at her with his icy blue eyes and smiled. "You know...You are incredibly beautiful." He told her with a half smile.
Feeling his hard fangs knock into her face, it didn't hurt as he missed from actually piercing skin. Dezera easily fell to the ground underneath Akemi's blow to knock her down. She rolled up onto her stomach, front paws tucked into her chest to almost give her an innocent look.
"Who said I was playing dirty?" Dezera asked with a light smile, her eyebrow lifted up. There was a sparkle in her eyes, teasing him. She'd be like a snake, lay in waiting but as soon as he grew close, she would strike at a random moment. She'd just have to fancy him into letting his gaurd down. Acid was starting to prep up in her fangs, waiting to snap into him or spit the bitter liquid at him.
She was personally glad that Kali was hesitant and allowing her to take the first swing, so Karasu immediatly stepped up and stood tall, and proud.
"Okay, I'm ready!" Karasu said, grinning over at Fern as she awaited for something to happen. "What should I do?" She asked, not too sure on how this would be possible, since she had no element capeabilities like Fern did. "Do you want me to get in that tree?" She asked, pointing up at the tree with her nose, squinting as she looked up to the sky.
The Alpha sat back, watching her mate brawl with this newcomer. Her mate definitely was showing in age, but there was no way he would let down on just anyone. She knew he was Kenpachi - he couldn't fail! She smiled at him, almost in a threatning way. She didn't drag the "alpha" over here to be embaressed, that was for sure.
The prospect of retiring set in her mind once again. Turning to look behind her back, she debated once again on which Alpha Heir would be right to take the throne. At this rate, Hibari was probably dead in her mind, and Kestral as well. She never saw them, and figured something had happened. As for Hidan and Karasu, they both were power hungry, and that worried her in a way of their teachings not benefitting the pack, but rather themselves.
She turned back to the fight, looking rather annoyed and confused now.
"Kenpachi, you finish this off. I have some things to do." She said, raising up to walk away as she continued to ponder about the future of Ronoh, and crucial decisions she would need to make.
She nodded, "Yes, get in tree and I help with the rest." She said with a smile as she went to the bottom of the tree and waited for Karasu to climb up the tree and position herself in the vines.
He was glad that Kenpachi was impressed with his skills, but he wasn't paying attention for a split second and then he nearly got knocked down. But he got himself and stood his ground. Then he lunged at alpha with a fiery paw aiming for the base of his throat.
Her wings folded against her back as she made her way into the icy cavern. It was rather chilly, but Yami's thick coat helped against the cold, and she didn't mind it as she found a sunnier spot to also relax and sit against. Looking over to Kodi, she felt herself blush at his compliment, and she was forced to avoid eye contact as she tried to retain her previous structure.
"T-Thanks." She managed, looking over to him for a split second before once again averting her eyes to something else. She was smiling the whole time though, feeling good about his words.
Akemi
He was thrown off that his pounce and tackle ended up with her beneath him, eyes looking her over as if she was up to something, but she looked so innocent for a moment he let his guard down, staring her down in an almost confused way. Why wasn't she fighting back? Akemi just stared at her, awkwardly frozen ontop of her as he waited for her to actually.. fight back.
Lowering his face, he got up into hers and scrunched up his eyebrows like he always did, glaring at her. "Someone out of steam?" He asked, tail whipping shadows back and fourth as they danced around them in an antsy way.
She watched her brother silently, not having a moment to respond to him as he set off into the bushes. Quickly, she trailed after him, peeking in and sighing as he retreated, sitting by his side as she felt weary and tired from the days work.
When Nile came into view, Blaires eyes opened wide. Whenever that snake was around, she typically avoided it. She didn't like the looks of that thing, and moreso, it gave mother power. That annoyed her.
"What do you want?" She said, flicking her tongue out as if to mock the snake, in a way.
She nodded diligently at Fern, seeing this task as a good excuse to practice for her duty in Sera. Looking from tree to tree, Karasu ran towards the tree next to Fern's original, leaping up to press her paws against the stump and leap towards the tree next door, quickly pressing against this tree and continuing up the two tree's like a ladder. It wasn't long till she reached a suitable branch and she quickly recollected her balance, looking down at the pair with a smile before climbing up to the next branch and making her way to the spot Fern had pointed out.
"Okay, I'm ready!" Karasu shouted, her smile wide as she felt her heart begin to pump quicker, adrenaline speeding up from waiting for the rush.
Kenpachi ~+~ "Huh? Wha-AHHG!" Kenpachi's question was quickly turned into a roar as he let his attention stray to the wanderings away of his mate. Bad mistake. Lucky for his thick-fur, otherwise it might have been a deeper wound, but for now it just bled and was more of a nuisance now. In retaliation, the armor wolf aimed to snap at the younger wolf's face, but it really was a cover-up for a sweeping blow to his paws to try to make Braxton trip.

That look, confusion. Perfect, she knew it'd work, even if it was a little far-fetched. Dezera gave the slightest tilt of her head, extending a paw in almost play to bat at his nose like a pup as he leaned forward.
"Guess you win this round, big boy." Dezera cooed, feeling the coldness tinge her skin as the shadows that he produced took all the warmth. She wouldn't admit it, but she was growing tired.
Suddenly, she flashed a devious smile before letting a thin stream of an acidic substance, similar to the potentcy of a lemon. Not enough to blind him, just to blur his vision and sting mildly. Right as soon as she did, Dezera rocked her body upward to give her leverage to snap her venomous fangs into any open part of his body. Her actions, much like her helper's; the spitting cobra.
I smiled. "So, How do you think Kali would react? Since she's all grown up now..." He said meaning about them becoming mates. "I kind of want to see her before I leave." He said as he laced his tail with hers. "Would you mind? Weather we tell her or not I want to say bye before I go." He told her with a smile.
She looked back anxiously on her frail looking father but after kissing him lightly on the head she followed after her mother, running along side of her. The warmth was wonderful as she had gotten so used to the air conditioned confines of the den. She splashed into the water after her mother the cool wetness soaking her legs and her belly. She squished her toes into the mud before looking at her mother "Why does dad sleep so much lately momma? It makes me nervous."
Feeling the coolness of the water, Naomi followed after her splashing daughter. Her tail went slim like a rat's as it was drenched in water. She batted it back and forth, causing ripples with a few splashes. The heat was killing her, but the lake was refreshing and as Naomi bent down to take a few sips of water. She stopped at Kori's question. Raising her head up, Naomi offered a soft smile.
"Your dad is just tired lately. He's not as young as the other father's, you know." Naomi picked up a paw and splashed it at her daughter. "Besides, we're having a bit of trouble with the food here. So, sleep is the best form of energy at the moment."Naomi wagged her tail, but knew deep down that it'd harm Aiden more. He was aging, and this famine wouldn't help him. She worried that he might starve.
She understood perfectly and as she caught her mothers worried thoughts about how he could starve her brow Wrinkled in worry. There was no food? She thought hard for a moment before understanding that she would have to go find some. She realized that it must only be this pack so if she went outside of the borders then maybe she could find something. She had never hunted a day in her life but the more she thought about it the easier it seemed. She would wait until her mother was asleep so she wouldn't worry about her. She looked up content with her idea, and then said "You're so beautiful Momma, I hope I can be just like you." It was a random thought but it was true, she held her mother in the highest of respects, she was one of the most important wolves in her life.
Naomi's gaze turned down to look at the water, trying to catch a glimmer of scales racing by. Opal had decided to join the group, padding swiftly against the minor current. She let out small grunts as she swam in circles. Naomi turned to look back at Kori as she complimented her. Her eyes softened and a large smile took place. Kori was such a sweet girl.
"You already are," Naomi waded over to lick Kori on the top of her head. "But, you know what, you'll be even more beautiful than your mother. I promise you."Naomi nuzzled into her sea-green fur.
"Now, I'm going to see if I can teach you how to fish. Your father taught me when I was about your age. It's pretty handy." Naomi smiled, she knew Kori would pick it up easily. Both her parents were hunters and she was a smart one.
She smiled and closed her eyes at her mother nuzzle, she listened carefully and said "I can hear them momma, they're all over the place." She closed her eyes for a moment and tried to single out the sound of a fishes thoughts. When she found one she was surprised at the short span of time they paid attention. She quickly suggested that it come up to the top of the water and it did but as soon as its memory lapsed it shot back down to the depths. She looked over at her mother and said "Okay so how do I do it?" She smiled and let her light blue eyes scan the water.
The ice wolf laughed at Kori, "Yes, dear, they're everywhere. The trick is to try and catch them, they're fast and water throws the reflection of them way off." Naomi bent her head down to watch the water for a moment.
"Alright, my eager student." Naomi started, "You have to make sure you don't do quick motions when you walk. It scares the fish. When you find a nice comfortable place, get into a pouncing stance with a slightly arched back. Like this..."Naomi explained, widening her stance a bit as she felt the water cause her to sway around her. Naomi ever so slightly curved her back up, allowing the tips of her stomach to touch the water.
She studied her mother stance for a moment before moving slowly like she said. She copied her mother her eyes focused on the water, she could see the glimmering scales and the blurr of motion but the harder she concentrated the easier they were to spot. She became to eager and before he mother could speak agin she shot her head I to the water and came up with the tail of a fish but not the rest of it. She looked at her mother confused and said "They're tails aren't supposed to come off that easily are they?"
Naomi watched Kori, noticing her slip into her own stance. "Now--" She started before watching Kori in a swift motion dunk her head into the water to try and fish. Would she get it? Naomi opened her mouth before giving an uproar laugh. She quieted herself as she realize the sound vibrations might stirr the fish off in the water below.
"How did that happen? No, their tails should be attatched to their bodies. And your supposed to get the whole fish, instead of just the tail."Naomi pointed out, moving her head around, "Now where did the rest of the body go to?"She asked, glancing about her.
Her eyebrow raised and she dropped the tail before picking up the now lifeless fish that was floating to the surface "I musta bit to hawd." She said though the fish. She tossed it back onto the shore figuring that even though it was missing a tail It'd still be helpful in the quest for food. "now what were you saying?" She smiled innocently at her mother waiting for instructions this time. She let her tail way slightly as she was extreamly happy at this moment.
He would have let out a sarcastic laugh as she called him big boy had a sudden acidic substance been sprayed into his face. Luckily it mostly hit into his mouth and up his nose, which wasn't entirely pleasant but still stung like hell. Not to mention his eyes, which immediatly began to sting and water.
"What the hell Dezera?!" He shouted, and then to make things worse she got a good bite on his neck, in a rather sensitive spot that made him recoil and slam himself back onto her. With his eyes shut, he used his darkness to feel around, attempting to flip her over and take control of the situation once and for all.
"You're not going to get away with this, this time." He said, snapping onto the back of her neck rather aggresively as he took hold of her, attempting to keep her in one spot so he could get what he wanted out of her; dominance and control. It was a rather aggresive move, but when was it not, when it came to Akemi.
She smiled and nodded to Kodi. "I'm sure we will say goodbye to Kali before you go, she wouldn't want to miss that for the world. But, for now, Lupita said to keep it on the down low.. perhaps we should wait until your about to leave, then once you're going you can say goodbye."
In all reality, Yami didn't want to go hunt down her daughter. It was always a pain trying to find her as she was quick and never in one spot for long amounts of time. Surely, tonight, before bed she would see her, which would make it easier to arrange a meeting. Not to mention, it was nice spending time with Kodi, and she didn't want to miss out on any alone time she could snag up before he left. She scooted a bit closer to Kodi, smiling at him but trying not to be too nervous. The cave was cold, and the closer she was to him the warmer she felt.
He noticed the huge armor wolf start to get closer to his face. He took his front paw and swiped it with full force, aiming to knock Kenpechi's head out of the way. He then felt a blow to his feet which made him fall to the ground. He then quickly jumped up and sent another flaming paw towards kenpachi's shoulder.
She smiled and went to the base of the tree. She pressed her paws to the trunk of the tree and the vines started to form into the sling shot form. "One....two....Three!" Fern counted and then had the vines release hoping to fling Karasu into the air.
He nodded. "Alright. You're right. Well, I plan on asking one of the Alpha's about us being mates before I leave...I mean if that's okay with you." he told her as he looked down at his paws nervously.
As Kenpachi snapped at his paw again he pulled away but he was grazed on top of his paw. He then punched his paws with a quick fury and let out three good size fire balls towards the large alpha. Hoping that he could knock the alpha out of his way. He hoped that this fight would end soon. It was getting late.

Her natural reaction was to scream rather loudly as she was launched into the air, which was much louder since she was a sonic wolf. She came down laughing, landing on her paws but not sticking the landing as she continued to run forward trying to catch herself. Finally she just slipped and pounded down onto her chest, rolling over to her back and laughing wildly as she lifted her head while still lying on her back, looking back at the girls through her paws.
"Now THAT is a rush!" She said, flipping over to get back on her feet while making her way back to the group. "Why is your element so amazing? I can't do anything like that with mine." She let out a sigh, but was still back to smiling, wanting to do it again. But, she turned to Kali, knowing it was her turn to go. "Alright Kali, your up!"
She wasn't surprised to see the brawl between Akemi and Dezera going on as she approached.
"Children...." Lupita called, trying to distract them from their training to make them focus on her. Lupita had a task she wanted to ask one of them, and fighting would be a mere distraction.
"Dezera, I would like to speak with you for a moment." She said, noticing the female didn't have her pups in sight. Reminded her of herself, although she did spend a lot of time trying to train them.
The female looked over to Kodi, nodding to him silently. Surely they would need the Alpha's acceptance before they did anything foolish. She offered a smile, and quietly said, "I would like that."
Her wings closed tighter onto her back as she thought about being mates with someone. Although it was something she always had dreamed of, after giving birth to Kali she almost automatically accepted she was never going to find a soul mate. Her eyes looked up to the top of the cave as she remembered her puphood and how she only wanted to be free, and how Akemi always had to look after her. It seemed they had matured from that level, and Yami never expected life to be like this.
Looking back to Kodi, she wondered what sort of future she held now. Especially with the idea of Kodi going on this secret mission - would he make it out alive? The thoughts worried her, and she quickly wanted to break the silence that came.
"So.. are you excited for your mission?" She asked, her tail flicking nonchalantly as she spoke.
Kenpachi ~+~ Snarling as his head was pushed away, the massive brute aimed to pounce on Braxton while he was down, but the fire wolf had gotten up quicker than he expected so he just attacked his paws. Kenpachi let out a hiss as his shoulder was cut into and his skin burned, and directed his attention towards Braxton's other paws, aiming to snap at the other front one to see if he couldn't drag him down with him.
Yachiru ~+~ Tansfixed as she was by the fight, at least the light wolf had a little sense to climb into a nearby tree for both a safety measure as well as to get a better view of everything. "Get him, Kenny!" She cheered, tail wagging at the speed in which her younger tail would have. It seemed like she had gotten her energy back, at least.

He nodded. "Alright awesome." he told her. But then he thought about her next question. The truth was that he was nervous about the mission. He was scared that he might not make it out alive and leave Yami here in Ronoh by herself. He didn't want to do that so he would have to do his best to not screw up. "Yeah, really excited." he told her as he looked down at her paws.
Hibari ~+~ Yelping as Kali was suddenly shot out from the tree, Hibari locked up in horror, deathly afraid that she would get hurt in the process. Luckily, another wolf was there to break her fall. Once she landed, he was instantly at her side. "Are you okay? You're not hurt, are you?" The grey wolf hovered over his best friend, making sure that she was completely okay, or he would call for the healer.
"Wait, what sort of trial?"
Kenpachi ~+~ The alpha paused in his tending and turned back as the head warrior began to speak. He subconsciously stood a little higher once Akemi mentioned how well Dezera was doing. "Excellent." He looked over towards his mate, wondering what exactly she was wanting to speak to them about.
But his attention was stolen away by Kodi, who had just randomly decided to appear. "Eh? Sure, whatever." The alpha shrugged before peeling away from his mate and headed over aways. "What did you want to talk about?"

Kenpachi ~+~ "Sure. What is it?" Kenpachi wondered, lifting a foot up and scratching at his torn ear. He paused immediatly as Kodi voiced his question. The alpha raised a brow and looked over his shoulder at the darkness wolf, then turned back with a devious half-smile. "You haven't told him, have you?"
The armor wolf thought about it for a little bit before slowly inclinding his head. "I don't see why not, but just be careful. I don't want more mouths to feed when we can't even feed our own. I say fine, but you should at least tell Akemi. I'm sure as hell not going to be the one to tell him..."

She looked over at Kodi from his tone of voice and response. "Is something bothering you?" She asked, but she already knew the answer. The whole thing was risky, and she couldn't believe Lupita had chosen Kodi. Perhaps there was a reason behind not picking the head hunter or head warriors, maybe she had something else in mind. It was all strange to her, and she looked out of the cave for a moment. Would Akemi be chosen to go as well? The thought worried her, for the sake of his pups. Although he didn't care much, she knew deep down he did want to be a father.
"No, I mean it's going to be pretty risky...but maybe this will finally be my time to shine and prove myself to the alpha's that I'm not just some weakling." He told her. He always had a problem with his pack mates seeing him as weak or talking other crap about him. He hoped he would be a father before he got to old because he knew he would be a good father. Besides he just loved pups.
