New Wolf Era

Xavier Valkryie III

His eyes flickered away from Lexya's feminine face to notice some patched wolf venturing around. He had a built body, one of a warrior. Xavier felt his fur rise at first, making himself appear larger and ready to fight. No wolf would stand in his way, not one that ventured so blindly into his territory.

The alpha shifted around, lifting his head up but making no notion to protect Lexya if the wolf was to attack. He bore his eyes into the wolf's head, examining him as he came closer. There was submission in the way he walked, but pride was coming off the wolf. It looked as if he respected Xavier's position of alpha, but would fit to hold his own if need be.

"Who are you and what are you doing on my lands." Xavier asked promptly, his lips peeling backwards to expose his fangs and pink tongue. "Answer, now." He snapped, not liking to waste time on wolves that didn't deserve it.

lexya

the white and black female sat back on her haunches as xavier looked her over, accepting her as a trial member, but at the same time, she watched his reactions closely. when she mentioned that he parents trained her to be an assassin, it seemed as if he didn't believe her. she smiled, in a very flirty way, well... sir, if you would, perhaps later, when you're not so busy, i could show you some of my tricks. she smiled, sliding her front right paw out, and slowly she began to stand a bit, smiling at him. she quickly looked over as she saw movements, and paused how she was. she looked over at xavier, then back at the strange figure. she wasn't for sure if xavier even knew who it was. she began to focus on the air surrounding it, until xavier spotted the unknown male.

as xavier called him out, she released her grasp on the surrounding air. her black eyes stared between the two males. as the unknown male began to speak, she looked over his stocky frame. what is your name? she realized that the male hadn't properly introduced himself to xavier, and decided to call him out on it. lexya looked towards lydya, then back at xavier. perhaps we can finish our earlier conversation, later? she raised a brow at him, sitting back down, looking between the two males yet again.

Vivica & Jax


She growled as she missed her sister. She then got up and followed her father. "Would you shut up Caeli? No one wants to hear your voice..." She growled as her fur started to stand up on end. She really despised her siblings. As Jax walked past Caeli he swung a paw at her to back hand her. "Don't back sass me..." He said as he led the girls into the darker part of Inferno where there was more trees and bushes and usually more prey. "Sniff the air...Do you smell anything?" He asked them. Wanting them to learn how to track down their food. He could smell some fox kits near by.

Xavier Valkryie III

"I don't just accept wolves on a whim." Xavier growled, he didn't want to chase off this wolf. He seemed to be a good fit for a warrior, and Xavier knew that he was growing low on those or they were aging. "Acid wolf, you say. We have quite the array of acid wolves here, so you'll need to step up your game to impress me among the others." Xavier hissed, a side-ways smile appeared across his features.

"So, Hyde." Xavier started, forgetting his name already. He was always one to be bad with names. "What do you have to show me?" He asked, giving a small yawn as if to show he was bored of the wolf already. Normally, Xavier would've started a fight with this newcomer with a pack member to show off his traits, but all of them had their duties to take care of. Winter was a tough season.

The alpha exchanged no other words with Lexya, he had something else to deal with now. Besides, it looked like Medusa might start digging into the female soon enough. What Xavier didn't notice was that Tyrion sitting besides him, almost as if watching Xavier and taking note.

Medusa

"I know." The acid wolf chimmed in, staring down at her son. "I want you to see that not every battle can be won. This won't be a brawl between elements. That would be extremely unfair. I want a true brawl, female to pup." She looked down at him, knowing he had the potential to learn. He would be put in much harder situations than this, and she was glad he could recognize it, but she still wanted him to go through with it. 

"How will you ever fight an Alpha if you can't even fight a female?" She taunted, just trying to get her son's blood boiling; to find the true Medusa blood inside him, despite the males of his father, whomever that may be, although she had a pretty good idea. 

"After this, you will walk, even if it hurts. And after that, you will eat. And once you eat, you will endure sleep, and then we will train elemental wise tomorrow. I want you to know every strength and weakness to every element; and we will start with acid tomorrow. You will learn how it burns, and you will learn how it can be prevented. And there are many other elements you haven't even heard of, but we will learn to fight with, and against them." She said, watching him carefully. If she was going to turn him into anything, he better start showing it. Reaching down, Medusa pressed into his chest as if to make him stand taller, to make him look stronger. "Never show weakness." She ordered.

Soon, she would have her little monster, and he would be strong enough to over power the Alpha;

and then her blood will be of royalty, and her son would be looked up too.

And she would be proud.

Medusa

She watched her son react in all positive ways as they made their way around the pack, turning to Lexya Medusa gave a grin. "Up for the challenge, my lady? A brawl with my son, no elemental advantages, or you'll deal with me." She turned to her son, "And that same threat goes to you." Deep down, she felt pride in her stomach and she wanted to smile at him, tell him she was proud of the words he spoke and the personality he had; but she knew she had to continue to be hard on him.

 So this was what it felt like to be a mother; to be a proud mother, and to success in pups and bloodline. She grinned at him, but in a more malicious way as if she was up to no good.

"I'm going to turn you into a monster, Tyrion." She said, as if threatning him in a way, but in a good way.

"You stick with me, and there's no doubt you'll be the most powerful Alpha in all of Inferno." She grinned, turning to look out into the packlands. In the back of the pack she noticed Jax with the females, which made her lip quiver, and then she saw Vierro off by himself. Perhaps he would be a good contestant to train with acid, for tomorrow. Father vs son? Now that, would be interesting.

Hydrogen was a bit shocked when the alpha had asked him to show him what he could do, as it seemed unusual to him. "Hmm." he thought, scanning all the skills he could do which would prove him worthy. Well, he knew a nice little trick if you were standing over an opponent, but it was risky to try on an actual wolf, as it could lead to serious injuries or if used well enough, fatal injuries. Not knowing exactly how this would work, he asked a question. "Aren't you, as alpha, meant to, well, in this case, attack me and judge on the moves I use?" Hydrogen had responded to this male in the wrong way twice now, but he didn't bother about first impressions too much, although they were fairly important.

lexya

lexya turned her head as the beta walked back towards her with a young male pup. she listened careful as medusa spoke to tyrion about a brawl between herself and the young pup. her black eyes looked down at the pup, looking him over. at first, she was debating about letting the young male win, to hopeful make his mother proud, but when the young fellow began speaking down about females, she raised a lip. even though, yes, physically males were stronger then females the majority of the time, this young male had never had the proper training, and of course, females were more mentally stronger.

i would be more than happy to have a small spar with the young lad. she spoke softly as she continued to stare at him, perhaps, after his little element training of acid, i could help you train him with air. she took her eyes off of the young male, and turned to look around inferno, i don't think i have spotted any air wolves here. if you want him to endure every element, i could assist with that. she offered a smile, she enjoyed training pups, mainly because when she was younger she was trained just as tyrion is going to be, to her, it teaches self discipline. she looked at medusa, where shall we do this? and... of course, when shall we do this? her eyes looked back down at young pup, and a few questions, since no elements are permitted, does that include myself flying? personally, i do believe me in flight during this small spar would further assist him later on. for some strange reason, she actually liked the way this beta thought.

also, medusa, will you be showing me around? she looked around, and honestly, training... i might be a bit rusty, but as far as trail member training, i think you shall see that i do not truly need it. she looked back at medua, fore, i was trained to do this. she looked back down at her future sparring partner, i was raised in an assasin's pack, i began my training the moment i could walk. she smiled towards him, i also agree with medusa, you will make one hell of an alpha one day in the future, if you just listen to your mother.

ooc;; sorry it took so long to reply. ^^/ i think sometime in the future, lexya and medusa should become "friends"

Medusa

The female watched silently, eyes focused on Tyrion. She too saw the anger in his eyes, but didn't say anything as she knew he would learn how to control it one way or another. She expected him to be untrained, as he was young and wouldn't know what to do: but what was better than an opponent giving their own opinions to a fight? Each wolf he would go against would hold a different strategy, and it would only be helpful to the male. She hoped this fight would be knowledgeable, but also painful. Her son needed to accept defeat, to learn how to lose, and learn how to handle loss. That way, when he won, he would take more pride in it, and wouldn't always expect to win.

She was silent as they continued, noticing Lexya immediatly using her wings as a strategy. She almost wished she hadn't let the female use her wings, since it was similar to using her element, but what she had said was done, and Tyrion would have to learn how to fight a winged wolf eventually, anyways.

Xavier Valkryie III

He must've been exhausted for he didn't even remember stumbling into his den, and plopping down in his own little bedding. If it wasn't for Monte angrily growing around in boredom, Xavier wouldn't have woken up from his slumber. The silver alpha stretched out, arching his stiff back before slowly going down the staircase. He almost slipped as a floorboard slipped underneath the gentle pressing of a paw. Another narrow area up the stairs, no biggie.

Xavier glanced around outside, his amber eyes burning just as the sun was doing. He felt a rumble in his throat. Where was everyone? It seemed...barren. He hadn't seen Akri in months, figuring the wolf died while trying to chase down Tahlia. No doubt that ugly wolf was good as gone.

As the sun appeared through the clouds, it shone down on his metallic fur. Giving him that extra sheen while pointing out the vivid pink scars that were along his strong face. He heard some commotion and as nothing else seemed to capture his attention, Xavier decided to try and wander toward the area.

Vivica

She rolled her eyes as her sister played with her food. "You are so dumb Caeli...You are supposed to eat it..." She said as she walked off and went to go find her own food. It was spring now, almost Summer and there was a lot more to eat on Inferno lands. She walked past her brother and some female that he was fighting. She couldn't help but stare at the female's breath taking looks for a moment. She then shook her head and went on her way. She put her nose to the ground and the eight month old stalked through tall grass. She heard a strange sound, her ears twitched and she found a couple of bobcat kittens. She jumped through the tall grass and growled at the kittens, the kittens froze and yelped. Vivica then Pressed her paws down on their tails and electrocuted them till they died. She accidentally singed them a little much. She took a bite and it was a little to crunchy for her. She made a weird face but ate one of them anyway. She then ran over back to Jax and gave one to him. But after she wanted to explore the lands without her siblings...oh how she hated them.

I guess I'll stay here for a bit. I've not been chased off and their hunting grounds aren't too bad or anything... Hydrogen thought to himself, lapping up some water from a small pond in the forest closest to the human ruins. He lay down, head on paws, feeling bored yet not sleepy. His stomach growled at him so he lifted himself up and followed the faint smell of an animal carcass. 

His odd coat caught the attention of many animals, but thankfully no wolves (or so he thought). Hydrogen nosed the elk carcass he had found then sniffed the air, glancing round for any sign of others. Thinking he had picked up a wolf scent, he lay his large body low to allow the grass and thick undergrowth to hide him from any other wolf, but it probably wouldn't work because he hadn't covered his scent or had he a pelt good enough for hiding.

Xavier Valkryie III

The start of his brisk walk was inturrupted when, lo and behold, Akri had decided to grace his presence amongst him. Xavier stared down as the wolf placed a tuff of fur in front of his silver paws, he watched before taking on paw and smashing it down onto the fur. Now, the fur flattened into the Earth and clung to the dirt and sparse grass sprouts.

Xavier gave a hard glare at Akri. "You're lucky Medusa saved you by telling me she sent you off." He was still unhappy by her order, but Xavier wouldn't show off that toward the wolf. He was just doing as Xavier wished, to follow orders from either himself or Medusa.

"I figured you died, which at this point, you might've wished for." He seethed, "How you managed to be gone for so long without something worthy to bring back. Can't even catch a stupid female or kill her nonetheless." Xavier snapped, feeling his fangs dribble before they lashed out toward Akri's ear to snag. No doubt, Akri's ears were pulled back which would make his planned attack nick more around the temporal region. "I swear, I almost have to do everything myself." Xavier snarled, lowering his head to push him muzzle close to Akri.

As Xena pipped in, Xavier swung his head back up to stare at her. "No, I wouldn't want you to waste any skill on the likes of him. I have something else better for you." Xavier turned to look at her. She had grown, and even if she was an adult. Xavier saw her nothing more than still youngling that needed guiding. "My latest newcomer, I had no wolf avaliable to test out his skills to see if he's of any use. I want you to stalk him and leap at him when he expects it least, engage in a battle and give him a trial run of what it means to be in this pack." Xavier felt his lips quiver in a crazed grin, but they never left his stoic face. There was a knowing look in his eyes that it'd go all according to plan.

Xavier Valkryie III

"You won't be so lucky if it happens again." Xavier growled, his lips twitching ready to give another snap at the wolf. "You may be able to redeem youself, as Marcus is dead. That little whore might make an appearence to spy if he's murking about as prisoner." Xavier swished his tail back and forth. Xavier would hold to his word, no wolf would leave these lands alive once they bargained to be placed in such a prestigious pack like Inferno.

Then, something seemed to flicker into Xavier's eyes. The alpha stared at Akri, there was still anger but also some kind of knowledge. "Did you run across any other wolves out there? Pack wolves?" He asked, giving his dry lips a quick wipe of his tongue to moisten them up.

Akri

"Of course not, sir. Terribly sorry, sir." Akri gave as deep a bow as he could while still in his submissive pose. With Xavier's next words, he slowly righted himself until he stood at nearly his full height. "I suppose she will be, sir. Afterall, if what they had was true, there will be no way she will be able to stay away. However, should it please you, I shall send Fuhrer out on reconaisance, should you so wish it."

"As for the interfearing female, it might be a bit tricky keeping her in one place. She has a rather bad habit of burying herself. However, as the order is given, so shall I do my best to fulfill it."

"Personality-wise...Well, the female who aided Tahlia-Camilla- had spoken the words, 'crazy she-wolf'. However, I was not all that aware of her, nor did I appear early enough to witness conversation."

But as it seemed that Xavier was "away on business", Akri shut his mouth and waited patiently for him to return.

Xavier Valkryie III

"Subdued? Akri, you underestimate Inferno sometimes. I don't take to disrespect lightly around these lands." Xavier couldn't help but give out a hearty laugh at that. "I expect her to be back, your shadows can aide you. If I find she has joined another pack, I may just send you just before sunset to...congradulate her on her new family." Xavier pressed his lips together. No wolf left Inferno pack alive, not without his say.

"Wolf aiding Tahlia, if you see her upon these lands too. I want you to inform me and keep her here." Xavier replied with a stoic voice. Just another body to be slain, nothing more could be useful from a female. "Black she-wolf, eh, any possible description of her personality?" Xavier asked, suddenly intrigued since he could always use more females around to do all the hard labor chores.

The alpha looked up as Monte was making a racket about a white wolf. Xavier hushed himself before picking his tail up, "Who are you?" He snarled at the wolf, looking wearily at him as he carried a strong Inferno scent on him. Must've been here for a while yet Xavier couldn't recall who this fellow was.

Xavier Valkryie III

The silver wolf lashed his tail around uncomfortably, how did he managed to miss this wolf while dealing with so many others. "It appears luck was on your side." Xavier replied gruffly, watching the wolf closely. He was a strange wolf to say the least. Xavier couldn't help but have to agree to the wolf, he did teach his daughter some tricks while away. At least a wolf was keeping her on her toes. "Those tricks had better be helpful to her, you try anything on my daughter..." Xavier snapped, his fur bristling up in the threat of coated needles.

"What do you want?" Xavier asked. If the wolf had waited this long, surely he was looking for something in return or to aide.

Xavier Valkryie III

As Akri slowly spoke up before he could reply to Haiden. Xavier gave him a dip of his chin. "Remind me again after I deal with this." He replied to Akri, it didn't sound like Tahlia's aide was something to be worried about, actually kind of lame. The 'crazy' female that Akri mention, that seemed like a more interesting female to be a /pleasure/ to meet. They usually were broken, easy to mold into obediant wolves.

His eyes were scanning the white wolf before him still. His smile still was strange, it caught his attention and it was plain he was staring in disgust by it. Xavier clicked his tongue toward Haiden, "Acceptence, eh? What would make you so useful that I shouldn't have to look the other way from another male?" He was looking for what drove this wolf, what made him tick. He showed him nothing of traits that would impress him any, more lanky than built.

Caeli

The female bounced around randomly as she explored the lands, not having the slightest care to where she was going, or what she was doing. A rather familiar looking wolf was off in the distance, and an idea sprung in her head. Racing over, Caeli giggled and jumped onto Akri's tail, wrestling it to the ground as she nibbled into it like a cat would while playing.

"NOMNOMNOM!" She shouted, giggling and continuously trying to wrestly the tail to the ground, despite her size.
