New Wolf Era

Kuro

"Don't ask questions, do as I say." Kuro retored coldly at her way with an impatient tone. Kuro decided to waltz around the tree a few times, as if inspecting it or Amari's technique that she was using. His shadows furled along his white paws, making them appear black instead. "Did I tell you to stop?" He shot back at her through his fangs, while arching his neck to avoid the heated swipe of anger at him. "Find a way. Put more of your shoulder into it, head butt it, climb it. I don't care. Just knock it down." Kuro lifted his tail up, "Unless you're not as skilled as I thought you were." He taunted, a dark gleam in his eyes. He would teach her something, whether she liked it or not.

Sora

Smiling at her children, Sora slowly watched Trio go before turning her attention on the puppies.

Tanari
~+~
"Ewwwww! MAMA! Renny's LICKED my stuff!" Tanari squealed once her brother had got his tongue juices all over her rock. Deeply offended, she turned to her younger brother. "You can have the stupid rock. I don't want it no mores." Turning her nose up, the young pup strutted farther into the den, not noticing the rock she had tripped over until she did. "This one can be yours too, Renny!"

Sora

The shapeshifter sighed as her pups seemed to fight, or well, Tanari. She went to the back of the cave as well and curled up against the wall. "Come on, Renci, Tanari, take a nap."

"But Mamaaaaaaaa! I'm not tiredddd!" Tanari whined, but going over to her mom nonetheless. Her eyes drooped and the puppy ran face-first into her mother's shoulder before sinking down and cuddling up to her.

Sora looked up as Trio entered looking quite worn out and crestfallen. "Trio? What's wrong? What happened?"

Kianna

The female giggled as Amara jumped and plopped into the snow before her eyes. Silently, she covered her mouth and opened her eyes wide as she fell, as if a big look of concern until Amara was goofy in her response. Kianna flipped onto her back as if laughing so hard, before her ears turned attentive to the sound of Amara barking. Flipping over and sitting back on her haunches, she looked similar to a meerkat as she looked around, investigating on whatever she was barking at.

Lowering her body, Kianna ducked down and snuck towards Amara's brother, sinking low in the snow and scooting up to his side. Reaching a paw out, Kianna acted as though she was throwing fire towards him, although she wasn't doing anything at all.

"pewpewpew!" Kianna shouted, making the first noise from the whole play scenario. She acted as though she was shooting at Harlequin, and then giggled and turned to shoot at Amara. As long as that red bird wasn't near by, Kianna was shooting small little flames that disappeared in thin air before they even left her paw.

 

Catorii

Hearing a strange sound in the distance, Catorii held a concerned look on her face, wondering what had happened. Watching Zorr race by the group, she stood up for a moment, as her hair stood on edge.

Worried, she took a step forward, but then heard a little voice that belonged to Kianna. Turning back and smiling, she desperatley hoped this little pink pup would continue to promote Kianna to talk, or so she thought the pink pup was. Giving a smile, Catorii settled into place, not wanting to ruin their play time. She would investigate once the play time was over.

"What do you think about little Amara and Kianna? Aren't they just adorable?" Catorii exclaimed, ever so enchanted with the little girls. "I'm sure they'll grow to be best of friends."

Mercutio

"I beg to differ. For you, probably. Me, no so much." Daphne stuck her tail up, the tip of her tail curling back and her head lifted up. A tuff of fur on the top of her head covered one of her eyes as she trotted away.

Mercutio twitched his ear to hear his helper before listening to Leonardo. He still felt an ounce of jealousy that Leonardo was getting up and out, trying to show Zorr that he could be the best choice to take after. Still sleepy, Mercutio wasn't a morning wolf and was getting his moods together. He grunted in response to Leonardo before taking off in another direction away from his family.

Mercutio passed by the lake, noticing Apollo and Aeris being overly-friendly to each other, so he pushed on to a different area. Mercutio wanted to go hang out with Amari, but remembered her excitement about being trained. Mercutio wanted to be trained too, to one-up her again. Who better than the head warrior?

Mercutio quickly walked to Eli's den, peeked his head inside. "Eli, you here?" He asked, his ears shifting and hearing just the still silence. Sighing, Mercutio turned around and made his way toward the hunting field. His thick, black fur was effective in this colder weather. He noticed a small herd of deer, pawing and grazing at the dry grass shoots from the ground. Mercutio's eyes twinkled, they seemed so graceful even in such simple motions. 

Mercutio felt his body twitch, transforming into that of a buck. His antlers reached up high, about a four point. He looked around before sauntering up to the deer herd. A few paid no mind, others lifted their heads up to inspect this newcomer. Surely, they hadn't seen this black deer before.

One snorted, a equally strong buck, "Come from the other land across the forest? Wouldn't surprise us. We tried that land, it's not a place to graze in this time of year. Every deer that decides to join in here seems to have come from that land." He shared, lowering his head to not look at Mercutio again as he grazed.

Other land? He tilted his head, not knowing what this deer was talking about. He'd just play along, "Oh, yes. Very poor in quality." He replied vaguely, and lowered his head to the ground. It was a surprise that he knew deer-tongue, not expecting that he'd be able to communicate with animals in their native tongue too. He wouldn't touch the grass but he'd imitate the act to not raise any eyebrows.

Amara

Amara shook her head from the snow again, before bobbing her head up and down in an imitation of Kianna. Amara raised a paw to her mouth, indicating that she'd be quiet...for once. Amara lifted herself up to her paws, her large ears turning about her to listen. At Kianna's act, Amara caught herself into a fit of loud giggles. She couldn't get enough of Kianna. Amara jumped up and down in place, encouraging the act.

When Kianna turned and aimed it at her, Amara's blue eyes grew round before jumping up onto her hind paws. Amara flailed her front paws, to remain steady while pretending to deflect the shots. Amara ducked down, squishing herself into the wet snow to stare at her. Her muscles smoothly rolling to be prepared to charge.

Zorr

"Can you tell me what happened here?" Zorr asked sternly, his voice slowly growing softer to try and comfort Nora, not wanting to overly stress her again. She needed a break once in a while. He turned his eyes downward at the still wolf, it was a shame as Bentley hadn't been the pack all that long either. They needed more hunters too, which made it an even bigger loss to the pack.

Zorr

Zorr's eyes hardened. The only wolf that might know what happened wasn't here currently. "Why didn't Eli talk to me before he took off..." Zorr thought aloud with a sigh. Sometimes, his head warrior was very impulsive. They could've discussed what was planned to go on. Now, his head warrior was at risk of comign to the same fate if his cards weren't played right, even if he had faith that Eli was strong enough. Zorr wrapped his head around Nora to comfort her, pressing his warm fur into her. "It'll be alright, Nora. I've got everything settled here, if you want to go rest, you can do so." Zorr offered, giving her a soft smile. He knew he'd have to bury the body, even if it'd be difficult in the hard, cold ground during this time of year.

ooc: Lmao. Does Zorr need to get rid of the body? Call 911-Undertaker!

Zorr

"Will do, Nora." Zorr stated, watching as she turned to walk off towards Trio. Zorr stood still watching the still body of Bentley for a moment, taking it all in still and never really getting to know the newer wolf. He looked to have much potential as a hunter, hoping that his son was able to learn more about his element through this wolf. But, it was much too late for that now.

Zorr pressed his nose in respect to Bentley's cold cheek, sending a small shiver up Zorr's spine. The alpha turned and started to dig into the hard ground. It was difficult, that was for sure, and his energy was zapped. Where was Undertaker to help when the ghost was needed? As annoyed as Zorr got with the wolf, it was a surprise that he wasn't around. Normally, at the first whiff of death, Undertaker would be at Zorr's sides singing a silly tune. Did the ghost finally venture to a different area?

No matter. Zorr scrapped at the ground, throwing dry dirt and snow clumps behind him.

Kianna

As she was pounced on by the male pup, Kianna broke out in fits of giggles, thinking it was some sort of game and fun play. Looking up at the male, she reached her paws up at him and playfully batted at him, her body and gestures warm like the love she provided. 

When the male suddenly got off of her and Amara pounced, she bounded back towards them and giggled.

"Pway?" She asked the male, holding up her 'pretend' gun again and shooting a little fire ball at him. Her fire balls weren't much more than a nice feeling of warmth, unable to do any damage as she didn't want to hurt any one and wasn't old enough to know how too. Her ears turned a she heard a female speak, and she quietly bounced over to her and shot her with her warmth aswell. Tail wagging frantically, she broke out in another fit of laughter, loving all three of these pups! She giggled, bouncing around and shooting a 'fire ball' towards the male once again, before bouncing and hiding behind Amara. "Can't get meeee!" She said, "Scwardy!" Kianna seemed to be comfortable with speaking to the male, and only the male.

 

Catorii

She giggled as she watched the pups engage in communication and play, knowing that this was good for all of them.

"It seems our future of Sera will be in good hands." She said, knowing that the three pups would make nice potential to the future. Especially little Amara, since she was so sweet Catorii envisioned her and her new best friend to run the pack together.

"Wouldn't it be something if little Kianna was Alpha and little Amara became Beta? Oh, I would be so proud. They both seem to have much potentail. And little Hellequin and Harlequin would make great warriors, it seems they have a feisty side to them. Perhaps one has a shot at head warrior, too." She smiled, trying to make conversation with the very quiet Kuna. Surely the female had some sort of personality in her, and some sort of ability to hold a conversation.

Amari

She snapped at the shadowy creature fluttering by, and glared over at Kuro. This was stupid, but she'd prove her point. Little by little, Amari would pull back, launch, and slam into the tree. Her armour slowly bent, cracked and crumbled after each hit, and she would use even more energy to rebuild her armour back into shape, each armour was slightly weaker than the previous due to the amount of energy she was using.

After each slam, Amari would launch and climb the tree, which turned into more of an upper slam, using her belly to slam into the tree, which was surprisingly painful since she wasn't protected on her underside, but as she continued on, the pain seemed to subside.. perhaps from the numbness she was beginning to experience.

And after what felt like forever, slam, climb, scratch. Slam, climb, scratch... Finally, Amari reared back and charged, and the tree actually wiggled and uprooted in the slightest.

Amari was panting heavilty, her eyes were blood shot and she was bleeding in the chest, shouldar and belly area. But she was determind, and despite the pain as it continued to go on and grow weaker, her attitude seemed to grow stronger.

"There. I moved it. Can we please try something else now?" Amari asked, a whole new attitude and respective personality. Maybe because she was so tired? Or maybe this tree-slamming actually did some good.

Catorii

The female smiled happily at Kuna, nodding. "Doesn't look like she's ignoring her," She said, seeing Hellequin return Kianna's little fire with her own darkness. "Seems like their experimenting. How cute." She said, seeing no harm in anything. Seeing Harlequin tackle Kianna, a push of worry over flooded her, but she saw how happy Kianna was and relaxed a bit.

At the mentioning of Kuna saying Harelequin wouldn't speak, concern spread across her features aswell, "Oh, yours too? I thought Kianna was the only one. She won't say a word to me, ever. I've only heard her talk to her father.. and now Harlequin." She let out a sigh. "I wonder if perhaps Harelequin is the same way." She shrugged, "Maybe it's just a pup thing.."

 

Kianna

She blew into fits of giggles as Harlequin yet again pounced on her, and when he pulled on her ear she laughed wildly like it tickled. When he backed away, Kianna grinned and bounced her way to his side, giggling as she opened her big puppy arms and took him in for a huge hug. She was so innocent, she didn't know what mean or beating up was. She just took it all as play, like her sweet self was full of. Giggling as she hugged Harlequin she noticed Hellequin's darkness and her eyes filled with wonder.

Undertaker

Becomming visible again, Undertaker breathed a sigh of releif as soon as he passed the borders. His nose tilted upwards and he nodded. Death. He could smell it. And so he wandered towards it, and what do you know? "Zorry pie! Hee hee! How good it is to see you once again! Or should I say rather unfortunate?"

The ancient brute wandered closer before offering a lop-sided grin before sweeping the hat off his head in a quick bow.. "Ah, and I do apologize for my truantness. I was a little...Sidetracked. It seems like an Inferno member ran away from the pack, and someone was sent after her. Drama, my dear Zorry Pie. Too much drama. How is the missus?"

Undertaker came closer and began to aid Zorr in his digging, though the ground was indeed hard. He did make more progress than Zorr though, due to his longer claws. "I do despise winter deaths. Too bleak and dreary for my tastes. And the ground is always so hard!"

ooc: hey Kammi Trio already went back to his den but you could talk to him there if you want

Trio

His ears folded back as he heard the whining of his daughter. He wasn't really in the mood for the attitude, and he was glad that Sora was handling it. Making his way to his mates side, Trio settled down and laid his head across her rump, looking up at her. "Oh, I don't know." He said,

"I  was so sure of it. I've never failed before. I tried to save a wolf, who knows what happened. I repaired his leg, I remodeled the bones and restructured the tears, I took away everything but the bruises and I was even pumping blood into his heart and forcing him to survive, but some how.. he still died." Trio couldn't understand how it was physically possible, and he closed his eyes, weakly. "I just don't understand, I.." He paused, and turned his head to cough. It seemed as though he swallowed wrong and that moment turned into a coughing fit, before he cleared his throat and excused himself for the error.

"Sorry, I just. I don't know. I guess there is something wrong with me. I couldn't save my own damn leg, and I had a chance to help someone else, and I ruined it. I'm a failure." He sighed, "I'm never helping any one ever again. I'll just kill them too..."

Renci

He broke out into fits of laughter as Tanari freaked out about him licking her stuff, and as she became a tattle tail, Renci rushed over and shook his head. "Nu-uh, Momma, it's not true! She licked MY stuffs." His big puppy eyes looked up at her, smiling innocently. "Momma, what'sa failure meen?" he asked, echoing his fathers words. 

Noticing his sister settled and sleeping, he curled up by her side. And, just to get back at her for being a tattle tail, he reached over and gave her a big sloppy kiss across the face. "Love you swissy. Eben if you wantsa gets me in trouble." He said, playing it out like he wasn't trying to be gross on purpose. Snickering, he looked up to his mother and waited for a response.

Sora

Her ears lowered against her head as Trio came nearer and began to tell his story. "Oh, oh Trio..." She murmured, and tried to reach him with her muzzle, but she couldn't go too far without disturbing the pups. So she brushed him with one of her leathery wings.

"Trio, Trio, you didn't ruin it. You tried your best. Why get mad over trying your best? If your best is your best, there's nothing that can be done about it. Maybe it was just his time to go...." Sora softly argued, not liking her mate thinking of himself as a failure. "Trio, don't forget that you made these two possible." She gestured down at the two pups curled up at her side.

"You may not have been able to save him, but you saved me, and you saved them."

Apollo

Apollo just grinned and caused more snow around him to melt and steam away. "Yeahhhh, I know. But I'm /your/ idiot." He took a step closer and dipped his head, looping the necklace around Aeris' and sliding it down her neck. Once there, he let go, took a step back, and puffed his chest out, proud of his great it looked on her.

That saying, he tried his best to ignore the suddenly cold and strange feeling that sent shivers up his spine, and told himself that it was just post-matal jitters.

Zorr

His head lifted up, the cool sweat on his brow seemed to turn into steam. He noticed his nephew approuching, knowing the wolf was sensitive to death since his father's. "I'm not sure, he went off Sera lands and ended up coming back with serious wounds." Zorr put simply, not knowing what was going on. His pink tongue hung out of his mouth and watched as the fuzzy image of Undertaker took form near him.

"Always a bittersweet reunion." Zorr replied with a gruffness in his voice. "I was just thinking you weren't going to show or ventured off." Zorr cracked a smile before giving the slightest tilt of his head. Inferno member? There was another pack that resided nearby besides Ronoh, that was new. He wondered how long that pack had been in place. Thankfully, he hadn't heard of them so it seemed that they weren't a threat as long as they didn't come across Sera.

"Catorii is doing great, thanks for asking. She's been busy tending to our daughter and keeping the boys in line." Zorr explained while digging alongside Undertaker, his fur slightly flickering into flames to keep himself warm.

Stopping as his head warrior approuched, Zorr held a hard gaze at him. "That would be my call if he is to be deemed dead within my pack's boundries." Zorr held an even gaze with him. Zorr felt a small weight shift off his shoulders. "But, I would've done the same thing if it was something this severe. I just wish that you would've spoken with me beforehand. I don't enjoy being held in the dark on such matters." Zorr explained, his tail lifting up. "Eli, could you explain exactly what happened though and who did this?"

Undertaker

"Aye, that is is, my old friend." A sly grin flew across the old ghost's features. "Me? Not show up? Bah. I make my living off of this stuff. How could I ever no-show? Hee hee. But I suppose if Daemon hand't picked up his toys when he did, I'd still be out in the forest, probably terrorizing that Inferno lass."

Undertaker shook his head and tsked. "No good, I tell you." But he became quiet once he realized that Zorr was buys talking to someone else. And so he gently nudged him with his shoulder to show that he would take over the digging project. And he began to hum.

Eli

"Yes, Zorr." Hi head bowed slightly and said "I made te deduction because when Amari ran off I made another rash decision to go find her...he had tried convincing her that he would kill me for her..." He clenched his jaw "Then I find Bentley and it was the same wolf who I ha also smelt along te borders a week or so ago. His name is Tork, by the attacks he's thrown at me Im guessing a Terra wolf, he is of course shorted than I am but stocky none the less. He wears a mask over his face and seems to be mentally deranged." He needed to inform Zorr what he looked like so if the alpha saw him he would know he was a danger. "As far as I know Bentley and Rayce here went out to hunt for us and ventured into the loner lands, from there I can assume that they ran into Tork and he attacked them without being provoced, then my best guess is Bentley came back here injured." His large head swung to Rayce and he said "Is that what happened?" He then looked to Zorr leaned forward and spoke in his ear "We need to talk about My daughter soon, sir. I'm worried about her..." He pulled back his armor falling away back ito fur and that's when he noticed the extent of the damage on his side, he glanced back at it and it was bloody and a dark purple with odd shaped bumped where ribs were broken, he disnt think any punctured his lungs so that was good but he would probably get Nora on this later.

Amara

Amara held a happy-go-lucky grin on her face as Harle started to join in on their playful game with Kianna. He was probably the easier sibling to get to play rather than Elle. Her sister was too serious. Amara jumped up and dow, watching Kianna giggling. Amara romped up to Elle's side and snapped at one of her shadows that leaked from her sister before giving her a lick on the cheek. Then, Amara was back at the other two's side. Amara couldn't help but join in now, leaping to wrap her paws at Harle's shoulders, just avoiding stepping on his feathery, black wings. "I loves you, Harleeeee." She yipped and nipped the tuffs of fur on his neck.

Rayce

The ice wolf listened to Zorr, while trying to keep his body as cold as possible. Being close to the fire Alpha as he was made him uncomfortably warm but he wouldn't dare say anything about it out loud. He thought about what Zorr asked, Bentley's death did rest upon him but that wouldn't stop his goal "I... stay... protect.... pack... with all... I can..." When he looked at Eli's wound his own didn't seem bad at all, just a few bruises and a hurt back where he was slammed into a rock slab. They wouldn't take much time to heal,

Aeris

She gave a smile to Apollo as the necklace was put around her neck, and as she saw him shiver her eyes grew wide with concern. "Perhaps we should head back to a den." Ever since Aeris had joined, she never picked a den. She was always so busy with Apollo, she never even thought about it. Smiling at him, she shrugged. "Do you have a den?" She asked, letting out a laugh. Turning to stand next to him, Aeris nibbled into his neck a bit and smiled. Hopefully her warmth would transfer towards him. She very much enjoyed the snow since she was raised up on the mountains, this weather was nothing to her.

Sora

Being somewhat deflated as Trio didn't seemed pepped-up by her pep-talk, Sora grew quiet and settled her head down. Had it not been for her pups sleeping beside her, she would have jumped up and growled at the intruding female. But her mane did raise and she gave a curt growl in her direction. She forced herself to stay put as Trio collapsed to the floor, but offered him a sympathetic whine as he left.

Apollo

The fire wolf almost laughed at Aeris' question. "Nah. I didn't think to snag a den, and neither did Arty. I've never really minded the cold and she always slept next to me, so, there was never really a need. I'll find one once the weather gets nicer. That way, it'll be easier to see." Apollo gave a yawn and nuzzled Aeris right back.

Artemis
~+~
Caught between light and darkness, Artemis didn't really respond to Tyson, nor struggled when she was lifted from the ground. Though her eyes were slightly open, she didn't see anything. She was too tired, and it was really warm out, and she just wanted to sleep.

Eli

He nodded curtly and looked to Rayce "Im proud that you risked your safety to help your fellow pack member when you could have just as easily ran away." He patted the wolf shoulder and said "Training for all warriors will begin tomorrow and you'll have a chance to meet all of the other strong wolves we have." He then turned around and made his way to Nora his side a deep purple from the broken bones and the gashes from the large rocks. It hurt but he'd be okay and he knew it.
