Almost right after he stepped into the old shipwreck his tattoo like markings started to glow a light green color, this often happened when there were spirits in his presence. He then saw a a spirit run down the stairs and out of the ship, while giggling. The wolf was a small female with a white gold glow to her. "Jayce...Kenna!" She called out as she ran out of ship. The soul wolf blinked, and looked to the others, not sure if they saw that too or if his mind was playing tricks on him again. He wasn't that comfortable with his element just yet because he had only had it for about six months. And he wasn't sure why he saw the things he did and if others saw them too.
Vivica
She walked past Karl and started to rummage through things, most of it was damaged and broken human items from the times before. She came across a net, it was in a corner, and started to pull it out, only to find that it was covered in crabs. "Ugh...what are those things?" She asked, turning to captain.
The male smiled and side-bumped into Karl as he seemed to be a bit chilled about something. "Ye sea sick, land lubber?" Captain grinned, before turning to smile at Vivca.
"Useless, unless ye know of any fire wolves." Captain chuckled. "Crab is a sea life crabby ol' crab. Watch out for them pinchers." Captain lifted his tail and water from a bucker lifted up and pressed into the crabs, loosening them from the net. He carried the crabs by the water control, and walked out of the ship. Twirling his tail around a few times, Captain threw the crabs back into the sea, only to head back into the ship once again.
"That ol' net should do. But Aye, watch for the mold. Might want to give it a good cleanse first." He said, smiling at her. "Wouldn't wanna make yer ol' pack mates sickly now, would ye?" A simple clean would be easy, but Captain was more excited about fishing, than cleaning an old net.
Karl had snapped out of his spirit trance as the other two wolves started talking. "Huh? Oh I'm fine." He said as he shook his head then walked towards the tangled up net.
Vivica nodded towards Captain after she watched him get rid of the crabs. "Thanks..." She said then started to drag the net towards the water to rinse it off, Karl jumped in and helped her with it.
He wandered aimlessly trying to fufill his duties to Fernis but the lack of wolves here was surprising. The ground had slowly faded into sand and he sighed as his wings drooped. He didn't have anyone other than his helper to talk to, he looked down at the cat and said "Ot would be wonderful if I could just get this earth crap over with, I want to go home." The cat nodded and rubbed against his leg reassuringly.
The ol' sea lover gave a toothy grin as Vivica headed out to clean the net, Karl helping. He would have helped too, but it seemed they had it under control. Happily he followed after them, walking up to the shores edge. The water brushed against his paws, giving him a shiver down his spine as he loved the contact. Looking around, he noticed yet another wolf had seemed to make his way to the beach. Captain gave a smile.
Maybe, after all, he wouldn't be alone.
Nothing was scarier than being old, and alone, and the fact was, Captain was exactly that, unless someone was with him on the beach. He shook his fur around, his eye patch withered and worn, as he looked up to the sunlight, wondering what tomorrow would bring.
Surely it wouldn't take long for the group to finish with this fishing hunt, and then they would most definitely be on there way. Captain wondered what was in store for him, but surely, only time would tell.
"Are ye ready to fish?" He asked the two. They seemed like a good team, the three of them.
After the two were done washing off the net, Karl held up a paw to give her a high five, she hesitated a bit bit gave in and brought her paw to his. Deciding to be decent to him because he was helping her after all. They both turn to Captain, Karl nodded. "Yes let's get this show on the road!" She said with a little jump, wanting to hurry up and get on with her mission so she could prove to Alpha Lupita that she had what it takes to become a warrior. Karl looked around and noticed that his friend Greyson had made it over to the beach as well. "Greyson, Hiiii!" He said as he waved to the winged wolf.
He turned his head and looked to the wolves, a smile came across his face as he saw the young wolf he had met on the mountains. He walked over and said "Hello there." He let his wings fold and sat quietly "How has life been treating you lately ?"
His tail wagged as his friend approached them. "Pretty good actually, we're about to go fishing! Would you like to join us?" He asked with a smile, hoping that Greyson would like to join. "See, Vivica has a really big fish order to fill and Captain and I are gonna help her." He told the other winged wolf with a smile. Then looked to the others, figuring they wouldn't mind if one more wolf joined them.
The male nodded to Greyson as he had approached, turning to the other two. "Aye, indeed. The more help, the merrier. Although, this is Vivica's job, so let's not get too ahead of ourselves here." Captain didn't want to cheat Vivica through this mission, but he was more than happy to help her. After all, he could easily just move the waters and drown the fish, making it ten times easier. But that wouldn't be fair, as he knew Vivica needed to prove herself. He was very loyal to things and never was a cheater.
"Aye, here's yur fishin' sticks and boards. I only gots two. Greyson, what elements are ye?" He smiled. "If ye an air wolf, ye could fly above and transfer the fishes to the shore, and I'll bag em' up." He grinned. That'd make a wonderful team, and then the other two could head out farther and fish for larger sized fish rather than the little squirts that hang out along the shore line.
"Aye, now, ye ready to lern how tuh fish?" Captain asked, flicking his tail. He scurried off for a moment before returning with a bucket. Although it was rusted and had a hole near the top of it, he still filled it with water and brought it back to the group. Sitting, Captain merely raised a paw and a wave of shrimp headed to shore. Being so elderly in his age, he had easily mastered the water element. Putting the shrimp in the bucket, Captain looked back up to the group. "Here's yur bait." He explained.
She nodded her head, she was eager to start fishing, she felt like they had wasted enough time and perhaps another wolf would just slow them down. Yet she had to keep a show on that she was a nice enough wolf so that this old geezer would teach her how to do this. She watched Captain bring the bait into the bucket. She looked into the bucket and scrunched her nose. "Those are really ugly little things..." She said with a slight chuckle.
He shrugged. "Aye, the things aren't too bad. A nice crunchy treat," and to prove just that, he dunked his paw into the bucket, pulling out a shrimp and holding it up infront of Vivica. "Want a bite?" He grinned before tossing it into his mouth, crunching away. "Mmm! Nothing better." He smiled, then nodded towards the board and fishing pole.
"So, ye are goin' to hook a bait on that there rusty ol' hook." He grinned. "Ye get it on tight and go out into that there ocean on that there board. I'll control yer boards from short, but its up to ye to catch the fishes." He explained.
"Now, to make things easier.." Captain looked around, "It would be nice to have a metal wolf. Then we could make many hooks and catch many fish at once, but, er, I don't see one anywheres." He shrugged.
"So head on out, and we'll get started. Watch your zappies, water don't mix well with electric." Captain wagged his tail happily, sitting down and pressing his paws into the water, listening to the shore rumble as he began to take control, mellowing out the tides.
The wolf rolled through a bush and got a face full of sand. Now sitting, he shook his head to get rid of what sand he could. He looked at the vast expanse of water in front of him and then back at where he came from. "How did I get here...oh, right. I tripped..." He blinked slowly and his eyes stung a little from the sand in them. He stood and looked around him with a sad look of confusion. "Guile? I guess he's still...slow." He waited for his helper, but when Guile didn't show himself he walked towards the water. He managed to blink the rest of the sand out of his eyes by the time he got to the water. He bent his head down to take drink then spat he water back out and backed away shaking his head "Salty water?" He had heard his mother say something about places with salt water. The ocean? He sat back down, to wait for his helper and think of what to do next.

The male looked over at what seemed like a very confused wolf, drinking water off in the distance. His eyebrows raised and he picked himself up, turning to look back at the others. "I'll be right back," He called, collecting his old self and making his way towards the male.
"Everything alright, Matey?" He asked, head tilted slightly to the left. Hook flew up and off his shoudar, heading back towards the other wolves, wanting to get a fish more than anything else. He landed on the sand, his bird feet inching him closer to the bucket of chum, hoping there was something inside for him to steal.
He turned his head in surprise when the older wolf spoke. He had been staring at the ocean and had zoned out. "I'm fine....no, I'm lost, Captain." He blinked his eyes at him and information started flowing through his head. "I don't know where Guile is..." he said, knowing that this wolf wouldn't know who that is. He flexed his claws in the sand then they were touched by the water and he shook his head. "The water tastes horrible."
She made a disgusted look as captain offered her a worm to eat. "yuck, no thank you." She said but then grabbed one of her own and held it in her paw. But it wiggled out of her paw, and she growled. "Hey you ugly little worm, get back here!" She barked at it as she picked it out of the sand. She then trotted over to the hook and stuck the worm on there. "Ha! Now you can't go anywhere." She said as she glared at the worm. She then looked over at Captain seeing as another wolf approached. "Man, this beach is popular..." She said to herself. "Hey Captain, we gonna catch some fish or what?" She asked as she looked over at Karl. "You ready?" She asked as she turned to the big ocean.
Karl
He watched as Vivica put the worm on the hook, he felt bad for the poor creature. He definitely wouldn't want a rusty sharp metal thing being shoved through his body. But he knew it had to be done in order to catch these many fish. "Yes, I think I'm ready." He said with a gulp as he looked at the giant ocean.
The elderly male smiled at the lost, new wolf on the lands. "Well, I assure you, lost can sometimes be a new found home." He could definitely speak for himself, as many, many years ago, he too was lost, on this very beach.
"You, my friend, have stepped foot in one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever laid my eyes on. And, if your hungry, my friends here plan on fishing." He nudged his muzzle towards the impatient Vivica, and nervous Karl. He offered them a general smile, nonetheless, before turning to the male.
"If it's water you seek," Captain lifted a paw, "This water won't quite do. It's full of salt, but here." He dug his paw into the sand, generously pushing the moist sand behind him as he dipped his paw down, pulling up the water into the sand bowl. "This is fresh water. Since I have the water element, I can cleanse the water and get rid of the salt. Don't drink the salt water - it will do nothing but give you the runs," He said, honestly.
"Yes, Vivica. Whenever you are ready, matey." The male said, his pirate accent still clicking in every now and then, for it had subdued as his age was taking a toll on his body, and he was definitely showing his age these days. His grey sprinkled muzzle was always plastered with a smile as he turned to the pair, his tail alert and ready to guide them on their first fishing experience.
Hook flapped his wings, spreading them wide as he flapped up onto Captains shoulder. "Land, Ho!" the bird said, whom, although was just as old as Captain, was still young for a bird.
He looked around as Captain spoke and just nodded his head slowly. He couldn't see himself making a permanent home here, but it was a beautiful place. He looked over at the other two wolves "Vivica, age two, element is electricity, most likely not the best suited for the beach. Karl, also age two, element is soul......Fishing?" he asked when he had finished. He had never seen a wolf fish before. Only a couple of bears once. He bent his head down towards the water in the sand bowl cautiously and sniffed it. It certainly didn't smell salty. "Thank you...my name is...Levi." he said before lapping the fresh water up. Spitting out some sand that had gotten in his mouth again. He tilted his head slightly as he watched the bird on Captain's shoulder, feeling a slight pang of sadness. Guile was still nowhere to be seen and he was becoming worried for not only his helper, but himself as well.
She was about to get on her board and get to fishing when she heard this new wolf come up and start talking about her. how did he know all that about her? She had never seen him in her life. "What? How do you know all that just by looking at me? Have you been stalking me Mr. huh? Who are you?" She asked with a growl as she stood her ground. "Has my mother sent you to take me back to Inferno?" She barked.
Karl
He realized Vivica was getting defensive and decided he'd try to storm the water himself first. He took one of the wooden planks and put the makeshift fishing pole in his mouth and went out into the water. It was a little hard for him to balance at first but he quickly got the hold of it because he realized if he lost balance, that he would fall in and he really didn't want to do that. He then dipped the fishing pole with the worm bait on it and put it in the water. He figured he and Vivica could take turns.
was about to say more of what he knew, but he closed his mouth and went silent. The female seemed angry with him, like his mother when he had tried to show her something. His head lowered, his ears flattened, and his eyes showed a mix of fear and sadness. "I am...Levi." he said finally. That was all he felt he should say at the moment. He was already recieving a negative response to his ability and he wondered if shouldn't say anything at all.

She calmed a little as the wolf seemed to look sad. She wasn't used to wolves who acted like that, even her dumb sister never looked sad. "Well...how did you know all that?" She asked. She didn't think what she said was wrong, she was being defensive like she had watched all the other wolves in Inferno act, None of them ever showed fear of weakness. "Well, what's wrong?" She asked as she rolled her eyes a bit.
His ears perked up when she appeared to calm down, but he kept his head low until she asked how he knew what he did. "I just...look at a wolf and I know their name...other things too." His head up and he was speaking in a proud tone now. "Your mother is...Medusa." He hoped Vivica would stay calm and not get angry at him for saying her mother's name. If she had thought this Medusa had sent him, they were most likely not on good terms.
The elderly male was a bit shaky at first, but after a few moments was able to stabilize the male on the surf board. He sat quietly, unable to listen to Vivica and Levi as he was concentrating on the water. It was as though he was mesmerized by the waves, keeping them in tact as they broke and separated around Karl. Captains eyes looked glazed over, and he silently continued his element magic.
She had drawn her attention back to the task at hand, getting enough fish for Lupita and getting a chance at being a member of Ronoh. She was determined to do this because the complicated and damaged young wolf really just wanted somewhere to fit in regardless if she let other's on to it or not. She bounded for the wet sand and plucked a wooden plank and the makeshift from the sand and started to take off towards the water. She then got on top of the wood and started to paddle out to the ocean.
The male continued to control the water, his element becoming harder to control, as the sea was beginning to pick up due to the weather, which was typical. He couldn't control everything.
"Might want to get a move on lassie, the seas won't be still forever, I sense a storm a brewin'" Captain called out to the wolf, hoping she would be able to round up enough fish in time. Captain shook the water, awakening the fish so they would be more attracted to Vivica, cheating, in a way, but she didn't have to know that.
The two younger wolves held on tight, paws gripping the plank boards, fishing rods tightly clenched in their jaws. When they felt as tug they would reel their heads up and throw the fish towards the shore. The Fish were flopping on the sand. It didn't take much longer for the duo to get ahold of this fishing thing, unaware of Captain's cheating methods. Soon Fish were flying onto the shore in no time. Karl was slowly but surely over coming his fear of the ocean and Vivica was actually having fun for once.
As the wolves gathered the amount of fish that seemed suitable for Vivica's challenge, Captain slowly lost control of the ocean, his elderly composure weakening him quicker than usual. His head lowered a bit and his tongue began to drag out of his mouth, and he sat down, heaving heavily, but blaming it on the heat.
"The air is thickening, may want to come back to shore before the storm hits," Captain advised, laying down as he let go of the sea, letting the wolves drift on their own, slowly over time. The current was pushing their boards back to shore, so even if they tried to stay afloat, eventually they'd end up on the sand by Captains side. He smiled, admiring the job well done they had accomplished, and hoped maybe he could have one of the fish for himself..
