He watched Kenna, worried by her reaction until her own emotions enrolled and mixed with his. Although she was feeling the butterflies, his were reacted twice upon hers, as Kestrals emotions were always to an extreme. Perhaps that was why he felt they had so much in common, since his emotions also went out of control at times, just like hers would too.
He smiled at her, twisting his tail around hers. "Shall we begin then?" He asked, figuring she was just as anxious as he was to break free from Captains eyes, and really spend some time searching the world together.
She smiled "Yep, I'm ready when you are." She quickly hugged Captain and said "We will come back with a Terra wolf and beautiful decorations." She was so excited to have help building their home together. Her short tail wagged at her hocks. The sun was becoming brighter as the afternoon reached its peak and the heat was so wonderful she thought she would explode. She looked to Kestral hoping he wasn't getti g to warm.
His eyes turned soft at the pair, feeling the love bouncing off of them. For a moment, he missed his old lover, Bluejay. That wolf had his heart in a way he couldn't imagine, being the most dearest friend.
"You guys go out and enjoy yourselves together! You have a whole world ahead of ye, before thinkin' of a family." He liked the way this pair thought, exploring the world and enjoying each others love before pups got in the way and took away the passion they would share. He was proud of them. "You both have turned into magnificent wolves." He compliments, "Arrr, me be proud." He nuzzled a hug back into Kenna, backing away to wave them off. "Don't you worry now, I'll be gettin' started on this here home of yours. Me N' Hookie got us a job to do!" He grinned, nodding at the proposition of keeping in touch with Kestrals helper.
The male let a smile slip across his lips as they said their goodbyes. It was sad to say goodbye to their new home and Captain so quickly, but the reason why they were leaving made it immediatly better. He nodded to Captain, walking alongside Kenna as he felt good about the nice words the old water wolf had to say.
"He's got a great soul." Kestral said, breaking the silence as the two made way across the beach. He wondered where they would head first? The heat was fine for him, growing up around Kenna made him used to the higher temperatures, and he almost always hated being cold, since he was so used to her warmth.
"So where too first, my love?" He asked, reaching over to sniff into her, his instincts forcing him to nibble onto her neck a bit, as if he couldn't get enough of her. "You smell so good, Kenna. I just, I can't get enough of you!" Jokingly, he reached out to nudge into her, in attempt to knock her over and nibble into her neck as if trying to tickle her, playfully of course.
She nodded in agreement, she didn't need to be a soul wolf to know he was a wonderful wolf. As Kestral nipped her she lightly head butter his shoulder before catching her balance "Now if I would have fallen I would have had no choice but to punch you in your cute eye. I don't wanna have to do that." She smiled as she teased him before knocking back into him a little harder since she was lighter. She still didn't know where to head and said "How about the mountain?"
He waved his paw as the two lovebirds took off, turning back to admire the ol' ship.
"Well, Hookie. Looks like we've got a lot of work on our here paws." He grinned, as the bird squawked in agreement. "First things first, let's check this place out." He walked in, venturing through the entire ship. The first floor was a simple one, obviously where the last group resided. It seemed to be the underway of the boat, sheltered by the ceiling from the hot sun rays. It seemed there used to be rooms, each section having it's own old bed, sinck and toiletries, most of the beds being bunk beds. Looking in each cabin, Captain was disappointed to see most of the beds were torn, toilets were either missing or destroyed and sinks were cracked along with the mirror attached. Captain didn't know what any of these things were for, so he figured they were just a waste of space. Each cabin could be used as a den, so he knew he would need to construct them, perhaps making each room larger.. to accomidate a family. Perhaps he could make enough room for many pups, Therefore Captain had no idea how many they would bring, one litter? Two? Perhaps three? Captain felt overwhelmed for a moment, looking back and fourth as he tried to decide what to do.
Another room included what looked like an old Kitchen, but yet again left Captain clueless. Perhaps he could just open this room up, making the entire living space larger. Looking around, he nodded to himself and made his way to the stairs. The upper deck was up top, which there was no way Captain would be save up there.
Hookie took this moment to fly up the stairs, checking out the upper deck. It wasn't long till he had returned to Captains shouldar, squacking away his findings.
"Squaaaack! Just a deck, a deck! Lots of space, play space! Perhaps a play space for little ones." He squawked away, and automatically gave Captain wonderful ideas.
The male let out a chuckle as he was bashed back by Kenna, reaching over to nip at the top of her ear, missing and licking the top of her head before continuing on. "Nuuuuu!" He joked, bumping back into her a little lighter this time as he didn't want her to scratch his eye out, because although she was joking and he knew she was joking, he still didn't want to risk something like that; he knew how tough Kenna was, and he didn't want her to take him out! He smiled at her, sticking his tongue out before slowing his pace to nip at her flank and then darted off towards the forest.
"Okay! Mountains it is! Race ya!" He called, even though he was already ahead of her, but in all reality he had no idea where he was going, just running forward, and probably in the completely wrong direction.
She knew she was far away from Inferno when she saw the water and felt the sand under her paws. She collapsed into the sand and finally let out tears of anger. Her up coming teenage hormones plus her father's death on top of everything she went through as a pup was making her just flat out break down. She let out a loud groan. She couldn't see anyone on this beach and was glad she could be alone in this moment.
Letting her tounge hang far and low to her side, Caeli's eyes opened wide as she spotted Vivica plop herself down. She sprinted as fast as her little legs would carry her, until eventually jumping and tackling her sister.
"GOTCHYAAAA... HAHAHAH!" She giggled, opening her mouth to nom on Vivica's ear.
She jumped up as Caeli jumped on her. "Get off of me!" She yelled. "Go away Caeli...I'm doing things on my own now." She said as she turned away from Caeli. "Go back to Inferno or go somewhere else." She barked as she stood up and started to walk towards the water. She looked out to the horizon and the water washed up on to her paws.
Her ears began to lower as Vivica told her to leave, and sadly she began to turn, wandering back home. In mid step, her smile randomly turned huge, and she looked back to see if the female had fallen for it. Surely, she had, and was busy on her own again. Sneakily Caeli ran back towards Vivica, jumping and attempting to tackle her for the second time. "WHEEEE! SISTERS FOREVER!" Caeli said, determined to stay by the siblings side, as she was the only one who ever agreed to play with her, besides fluffy.
She still stared out into the ocean and shook her head because her sister was so annoying, hoping that she would actually leave. But then she was tackled again and this time she went face first into the wet sand. She growled and pushed Caeli off of her. "Okay, okay!" She yelled. "But I'm not going home..." She said stubbornly. "You can stay with me but I'm not taking care of you...you gotta learn how to take care of yourself. " She scolded Caeli and then wiped the wet sand off of her face. "It's getting late, we should find somewhere to sleep." She said as she turned away and started to walk up the beach.
She stared at Vivica as she spoke of taking care of herself. "I'm not the Daddy's girl." She teased, remembering all the moments when Caeli took care of herself while Vivica was mothered by Jax, getting sheltered and food and always groomed. Caeli was always jealous of that, but it proved that she knew how to take care of herself, even if she was always never taking anything seriously. She playfully, and innocently wriggled her butt around, before darting off faster than her sister, just because of all her energy, and into an old hole. It seemed to be an old home for a nest of sea turtles, and was much too small for Caeli to.. get out of... So there she sat, with her butt poking out from this hole.
"I'M STUCK!" She whined, but lone and behold she let out a hiccupp, and immediately disappeared.
Out of the hole peeked a little sea turtle, looking up at Vivica.
"DUDE! THIS PLACE IS HUGE!" Caeli said.. "AND SO ARE YOU!!!" She shouted, her voice in a much higher pitch due to her new tiny size. She crawled back into the hole, looking out at her sister. "C'mon! THIS IS GREAT!" She said, not realizing her sister wasn't able to transform and fit in there with her.
She growled and bared her teeth at Caeli when she brought up her father. "Don't even talk about him!" She growled because she was still hurting about her father's death. She didn't chase after her sister but continued to walk up the beach. She sighed as Caeli called out to her from a hole as a sea turtle. "I'm not crawling into that hole." She said as she shook her head. She started to dig her own hole in a sand dune. She did it quickly because of her element. And because of her lightening the sand on the sides of the hole stuck together. She then took some fallen palm frawns and put them in front of the entrance like a door and then went in and tried making herself comfortable.
She was completely lost, and completely dirty again. The female was in a horrible mood, and was practically giving up on finding her sister. The morning sun was shining in her eyes, and the last thing she wanted was a sun burn.
"Zinzik, please find us something to eat." She commanded as the bird nodded and flew off, making it's way out to the open water as it attempted to catch a minnow that would swim up into the blowing waves.
She let out a huff and planted her behind into the sand, wishing to be clean once again. Lord Tempest was of no help, and since he had ditched her she didn't have a clue on where she was headed. Lifting up her head, Angelina tried one last thing that she knew.
Calling out to her sister, Angelina let out a howl of stars, which flew into the air. Upon rising, they lifted a message; their family symbol. Along with that symbol, was the family howl that echoed through the land. Although it was daylight, Angelina prayed that her sister would see this call for her, and if she was anywhere near by; she would. Angelina ended her call and looked around as if expecting her sister to arrive right away; and if she wouldn't arrive, after some food.. she was most likely going to return home, and admit defeat. One last hope though, and with her sister, perhaps the two could take on the sacrifice together, and change the world of Lysunder.
She woke up as she heard an echoing howl. She jumped up and covered her ears. "Ugh! What was that horrid sound?" She asked as she came out of her sand den. She then went over to her sister in a awful mood because she was woken up. "Caeli!" She shouted hoping she would wake up. "I'm going some place else you can either come with me or stay here but either way I'm leaving." She stated with a grown. "This beach is boring anyway and has rude wolves that don't realize there might be others here trying to sleep." She grumbled.
The female lifted her little head, looking around and letting out a sneeze as she heard her sister. To her bad luck, she was suddenly transformed back into her original shape even though she was still in the hole of the ground. Her head popped out of the hole and she stared out at Vivica as she started walking away. Squirming around, Caeli was much too large and stuck now, in the hole.
"VIVVY!" She shouted, growling. "WAIT! I.. I'm stuck." She growled some more, trying to free herself as she kicked around her body, flailing about in the hole. Eventually she wedged out a front paw, and using that she began to dig herself out.
Crawling out turned out to be rather difficult, but eventually the now sand-covered Caeli made her way to a standing position, standing over the now caved in hole.
"YESSSSs. I MADE IT! THATS WHAT YOU GET, STUPID SAND!" She said, kicking the sand around in a victory dance for freeing herself. She looked over to Vivica, her eyes different sizes as she made a crazy happy face at her and wagged her tail.
"Toughest roughest sand-fighter on this beach, I am!" She said, chasing after her sister, sand flying everywhere.
The male was growing tired and decided it was best to take a rest, he hadn't done much more than a few pieces of wood he had retrieved from the ocean, which was placed behind the old ship for storage. Looking up, his ears twitched as he heard a strange howl, one he had never heard before. Looking to Hook, the two decided it was best to investigate, as you were to never know what would happen on the beach. Looking back at the ship, Captain gave a sigh and knew he was getting old, and would need help to fix up the place. Hopefully when Kestral and Kenna were to return, they wouldn't be disappointed in him and his old age.
Making his way to the oddly colored wolf, he sat down not too far and lifted a paw to his forehead, introducing himself happily. "The names Captain, Matey. What ye be doin' on this beach, singin' that song of yours?" He asked, curiously.
Angelina looked to the male, backing up even though he had taken a seat far away. She could never trust anyone, and the last thing she needed was to be played around with by her thoughts.
"I'm looking for my sister." She said, simply.
Captain tilted his head, looking to the sky as the shining alignment of stars still glittered in the sky.
"And you rekon that oughta find 'er?" He asked, a smerk on his face.
Angelina raised her eye brows and puffed out her chest, "As a matter 'of fact, I do, sailor. You see, this is the emblem of our home, Lysunder. My sister would be crazy to not respond to such a thing, and for your information, we are princesses. We definitely have the right to do as we pleace, without low lifed sailors as yourself. Shouldn't you be, how they say, swabbing the deck?" She stepped forward, feeling Ziazen press on her shouldar as if to ease her up a bit.
Captain felt a little off and threatened about this, so he backed off and stopped smiling. "Woah, matey. I didn't mean to pull your strings, Aye. Me and Hookie were jus' lookin to make some new friend here." He explained, before hushing as the princess began to speak again.
"Well, I never! Is this how you meet someone new? Where is your mannors?" She held out a paw, lifting her nose as she allowed Captain to lick upon it.
Captain just stared at her paw, and thought for a moment. After a bit of time, Hook nodded to him and he reached out his own sandy paw, clasping it into hers as he shook it wildly. "Tis a pleasure tuh meet ya, misses Princess." He grinned, and Angelina just jumped backwards in disgust.
Tilting her nose in the air, Angelina looked to the sky once again, wishing her sister would hurry up and show up... or it was useless, and she would have known to have landed on the wrong planet.
But how would she escape? It was never possible alone.. it took two space wolves to launch out of the atmosphere. She let out a sigh, looking back to Captain.
She groaned and rolled her eyes as her sister went on and on about sand. "Are you coming or not Caeli? I'm starving." She growled as she continued to walk up the beach. She noticed some tree's at the border of the beach that looked like it turned into a forest. She started heading that way hoping that there would be food easy to catch there. "I'm going into this forest with or without you!" She called out to her sister before leaving the beach. Jynx slithered his way up his wolf and hung around her neck like a necklace.
The two wolves arrived to the beach and Jayce led Tarin to the old boat where he grew up. It looked to be a lot more fixed up than he remembered,Which was odd to the green wolf. "Huh...." Jayce said. But then he said a few words to his mom on how he missed her and things like that. He then carved "Kenna + Jayce" into the side of the old boat with a claw. He sighed and then looked a Tarin who laying in the sand moping. He didn't look to good, he used to be fairly muscular but now he was bone thin and you could see his rib cage. "Hey, Bro...are you okay?" Jayce asked. Tarin shook his head. "No, I don't think I can live without her man....I just can't." Tarin spoke before he closed his eyes. "No! Tarin...it's okay man...don't close you eyes!" Jayce shouted as he shook his old friend. But Tarin had been starving himself. He hadn't ate a thing since Kenna had left him and was slowly killing himself. He had no energy left and soon his last flame went out. Jayce shook him and shook him. "Tarin wake up!" He yelled again. But soon he was a pile of ash in Jayce's paws. Jayce was upset and mad he let out a loud howl meant foe his sister if she was anywhere around.
She nodded simply, following after Vivica happily, not letting her sisters grouchy attitude bring her down. "Coming miss sour puss!" Caeli giggled, chasing after her sister into the forest. Surely there would be something to eat, Caeli could just sense the presence of another!
Fluttering down, her footfalls were soft as she finally landed down on the sandy beach. It looked like it hadn't changed much the past two years that she was here. She hesitantly looked about herself, only spotting a few wolves here and there. There was her once friend, Jayce, but he seemed upset over something. Glancing about, she was trying to find where her rescuers were.
It wouldn't be her parents, they were much too busy with running the kingdom. Anastasia twitched her nose, trying to catch the scent in the wind. Wandering about aimlessly, Anastasia searched around the beach. It was strange to be back here, remembering her terrible descent into the water. She shivered at the thought.
"Why don't you bring attention to yourself, Princess?" Sobek cawed the suggestion.
Anastasia smiled, "This is why I have you, such dear Sobek." The space wolf conjured up some comets around her before sending them whizzing into the air. A few were sent horizontal from her, leaving a smokey trail as they passed straight to Anastasia. Even though, she didn't stay still. She wandered about some more.
Captain was busy flaunting his stuff, making the princess quite uncomfortable and annoyed with the small amount of manners and 'pirate'-like actions until she was caught off guard by something off in the distance, playing with comets. Standing and stepping forward, Angelina held her paw out and pushed Captain out of the way, only to hold her paw in the air as Ziazen quickly attended to her side, brushing the sand off by flapping his wings before returning to the princess's side, fluttering quietly as he watched in the distance.
"Ana?" She said, breathlessly as she caught her feet picking up speed, into a nice graceful sprint that wasn't all that fast, or productive. The princess made her way over to her older sister, or who she hoped it would be. Angelina only knew Anastasia when she was quite small, and didn't remember much more than her name. Seeing her in person made her frown a bit, surprised that her markings were unlike hers, as she had expected them to be identical, for some odd reason.
"State your name" She said, her head raised high in authority as she expected this to be a scam, although the wolf in front of her held a remarkable thing - the same Lysunder purebred marking she did. Angelina didn't want to make any mistakes though, and so she stood tall, watching her sister carefully.
His sister wasn't anywhere near, he sighed and decided he would continue on so he could find her. He didn't like being alone in the world and at least had her or someone else along his side. He figured she was still with Kestral but he wouldn't let him get in the way of him and his sister, after all they had a bond like no other. He looked to the pile of ash that was once Tarin. He put his head down and frowned. "Good bye old friend." He said. Now he would be somewhere where nobody could hurt him or put him down. He then took off and went off of the beach towards the mountains.
A white wolf was approaching her, much smaller and delicate than she would imagine for a rescuer. When she arrived closer, Anastasia stood up tall and took a single paw step back. Holding her head up high, Anastasia's eyes immediately went to the crown. How did she get that? She wasn't worthy!
"I have little reason to state my name to you, peasant. You should do well and greet me first and respect the Princess that stands before you." Anastasia scoffed, giving an agitated flutter of her wings.
Noting the Reznov markings, Anastasia's eyes widened with understanding. It was a wolf that she remembered nothing more than a newborn, her nanny had tended to her briefly when mother wasn't around.
"Little Angelina? That couldn't possibly be you, could it?"She asked breathlessly.
"Princess? Oh, please. You?" Angelina laughed, "You look nothing of a princess. Wheres your crown? Your royal ribbons? Your servant?" She grinned as Ziazen nodded in agreement, but her grin faded as the female, who Angelina assumed was a knock off, stated her name.
"Yes, I am Princess Angelina. Princess of Lysunder, coming in search of my sister, Anastasia Reznov. She left me back on Lysunder, where I was forced to live without my big sister. I came to bring her back home, Mother misses her, you know." Angelina still wasn't too sure if this was Anastasia, but more and more so, she believed it. Her smiled widened, and she waited for that confirmation before going in for questions. Where had she been, all this time?! On this wretched planet?
Anastasia felt the sting of insults cast upon her at the claim that she didn't appear to be of royalty. Was it true? Did she become something of a peasant while traveling about on these lands? Feeling her cheeks burn red from embarrassment, Anastasia shuffled uncomfortably as she mumbled. "Yes, I am Anastasia Reznov, Princess of Lysunder."
"Mother misses me? How can that be? She let Andromeda come for me, snatch up her oldest daughter and allow for the beast to do whatever it wished of me."Anastasia snapped, tossing her head to the wind. Yet, she yearned to go back home: To embrace her mother once more, have subjects to cater to her, the beautiful jewels.
Her eyes opened wide at her sudden realization. "Sister? Is it truly you?" Smiling, Angelina found herself embracing her sister happily, tail wagging as she pressed herself against her, pulling back at Anastasias resentment.
Her thoughts began scrambling and she didn't know what to do. Her initial plan was to bring back this female, have her sacrificed so she could be queen, but meeting Anastasia brought a whole new picture into the world and Angelina didn't know what to say or do. Her ears flattened and she gave a small smile to Ana.
"We all miss you, Anastasia. Why do you think I'm here? I've been looking everywhere for you, to bring you back home, to put our family back together." She let out a sigh. It had to be done; they had to prove themselves, it was the only way they could be queens... together.
"We will take on Andromeda. We will over power her, and show her that we are different. I have a game plan on defeating her, and you know what? We can make a difference. Look at how different this world is, there are so many things we can change, Anastasia. We can truly make a difference."
He finally made it to the beach, panting, and shook the snow off of himself. He was weak from lack of food and water. He hadn't shape-shifted into anything faster to conserve energy. Crow had fallen behind on the way, but came back now with a couple of bugs hanging out of his beak. "I found some grub, I ate that though. Here's some for you." he pointed his beak up to his wolf who just shook his head "I don't eat insects." Tragen moved out further onto the beach and looked around but he couldn't see anything from where he was. Crow gulped down the rest and hopped back onto his wolf's back. Tragen could smell her sweet scent on the wind. He howled, hoping that she would hear and recognize it as his, as he made his way to her. "Just wait for me, my princess." he muttered to himself.
Anastasia smiled, lifting her head up. She did miss her family, oh so dearly. Besides, Anastasia wanted to know more about her younger sister, one that she barely remembered due to time. She believed every word that her sister was talking about, feeding it as if inflating her ego that they could make a change. They could defeat a god.
"Then, let's be haste and return."Anastasia smiled, stepping up to prepare to take flight. Her large wings opened wide and glittered magically. About to take off, Anastasia stopped at a familiar howl.
"Tragen?" whispered the princess.
The tall wolf glided across the sands to meet her mate. Oh, how she longed to be with him. But longed so much to go to her planet and live with her kingdom with her family. How could she choose. Seeing his white and black fur, she pushed her muzzle into his fur to breath is warm, scent.
"Tragen, I must return back to Lysunder. It's my duty."She lowered her head, then...an idea struck her. She knew where Earth was, and she'd know where Lysunder is...
"Tragen, come with me. I can leave, and send a black hole connecting Lysunder to Earth. You can come back with me, and we can all be a family again. Please do." Anastasia begged before turning her head, knowing Angie would've followed her over here by then.
The yearling made his way down the mountain, it was way to cold up there now for him. He was alone once again and it was time for him to move on, maybe some place slightly warmer. "Where to now Carlee?" He asked his helper as he made his way to the bottom of the mountain. "The beach?" The tiny cat piped up from under one of his wings. He nodded and made his way to beach, keeping an eye out for the ocean. He was never really sure about big bodies of water, they frightened him in fact but the sand might be a nice safe haven from the snow. He stepped onto the sand, wiggling his toes in the sand a little, he wasn't used to the texture. "Hello?" He called out to anyone who was on the beach, looking around.
Angelina watched as an unfamiliar male approached and began speaking with Anastasia. "Really?" She said, "You've fallen for an earthling? Anastasia, your expectations have really... subsided." She flicked the fur on top of her head out of her eyes, turning to look up at the sky.
"Come. Deal with love later. If you must be with this foolish one, we will figure it out after we deal with our own troubles." She explained.
"Come with me, sister. It's time to go home." Angelina smiled up to her helper who was already up on the rainbow she had created. Angelina created black holes by making rainbows, and it would teleport them home quickly. Jumping on top of it, she looked back at her sister, holding a paw out and awaiting for her to join her in their voyage home. Mother would be so pleased.
The old male was witnessing this strange, odd rainbow looking figure and felt a suction come from it as it was created. Well, that definitely wasn't a normal feeling. Standing, Captain felt it was best to go on his way, bidding a goodbye with a nod to the pretty wolves. Surely they were important with those sparklie things on their heads, so he gave a slight bow as well.
Heading down the beach, Hook sat on his shouldar rather than flying above him like he normally did. Although birds lives for almost a hundred years, wolves did not, and so Hook was feeling the age on him much stronger than a typical hyacinth.
"Ol' Hookie, lookie there! We got ourselves uh new commer!" He grinned, seeing a wolf off in the distance. "New comer, new comer, squaaaaaack!" Hook said in response, his eyes brightening to a wonderful blue as he studied the figure in the distance.
Captain picked up his elderly speed, heading towards the wolf.
"Welcome to the beach, matey!" He called from a far.
He was a bit startled when a strange brown wolf who talked funny approached him. He looked around, "M-Me?" He asked but he didn't see anyone else on the beach except for some females a ways away who seemed to be leaving. "Oh, um...thank you. It's my first time on a beach. " he told the older wolf. "I-I'm Karl...and this is C-Carlee..." He said as he shook a little bit, just from being nervous and paranoid. His little helper cat hopped down off of his wings and licked her lips as she stared at Hook. "What's with the rainbow chicken?" She asked with a pur.
He let out a chuckle. "Aye, ye a little nervous now, are ye?" He asked, tail whipping too and fro', as he smiled brightly at the male.
"Sumone needs a good vacation, sounds to me. The snow gotchya all tight and uneasy. Take a breather. This here beach is as pleasent as can be, Arrrr." Captain grinned, as Hook squacked in agreement. They had made their way towards the wolf and were sitting in front of them now.
"The names Captain. And this here's ol' Hookie. Pleased tuh meetchya, Karl and Carlee." He chuckled at the matching names. "Yer a cutie." He laughed, jokingly. Turning to the cat, who was licking her lips, Captain just laughed.
"Aye, the chicken? That there's a princess. Pretty famous, she be." Captain explained.
"Goin' home to save some planet, er- somethin'. Such an honor to meet the highest of the high, no?" He grinned, flashing a toothy - and hungry - grin to the cat.
"If yer lookin' fer a feast, the oceans got what the kitty likes, but aye. She be too much of a kitty to swim, no?" He asked, a challenge. Perhaps he was sticking up for his bird, or perhaps he just never liked cats. Either way, Hook was about the same size as that cat, and he wasn't worried.
Shaking his fur, sand flew everywhere and Captain just chuckled wildly. "Aye, so lets get some grub, Mate?"
He calmed a little as he read the light blue glow that was surrounding Captain, it was a happy and peaceful color, telling Karl that this wolf was a good hearted wolf. "Nice to meet you too Captain and Hookie." He said with a slight smile and a nod. Then he looked down at Carlee and shook his head at her. "Don't mind her...she's a little grumpy and tired. And like you said could probably use a bite to eat." He said as he looked back at Captain. "Fish you say? I've never caught a fish before...could you show me how?" He asked, feeling a little embarrassed by the fact he didn't know how to catch a fish.
He shrugged his shouldars as Karl excused his helper, as he wasn't too worried in the first place, "Arrr, I'd laugh the day I see a cat eat tuh bird that size," He chuckled, nudging his Harlequin Macaw happily as he turned towards the water.
"Well, Arrr. It's easy. But first, Do ye know what tuh fish looks like?" He asked, his tail wagging happily. "Cuz' it' be yur first visit to tuh beech, I'm not surprised ye don't know how to fish, ar ar ar ar arrrr!" He chuckled, tail still wagging as he looked down the shoreline for his surf bored... or, so he would call, 'fishing board'.
He giggled a little bit when Captain mentioned his helper. Then pet the top of Carlee's head before she went off to sun bathe in the sand. "I've seen fresh water fish before...they can't look much different right?" The teen asked the older wolf. "This is my first time coming to an actual beach." He explained. Where he came from there were lots of rivers and streams but not an ocean for miles and miles.
He smiled at the younger male, wishing he were once again the age of this male. It was so nice to be young, to travel, to be full of energy. But, the beach was where Captain belonged. He would be here forever, to always look out at the big beautiful water, and hope Enkai was swimming happily in Ocean heaven.
He nodded to Karl.
"Aye. It's a bit different. Bigger fish. Much bigger, sharks. Dolphins, but those aren't to be worried of. Sharks are your biggest problem, but they don't feel until dusk and dawn, no worries there mate." He grinned.
"S'cuse me." He said, turning and bursting into a quick sprint off towards his surf boards. They definitely weren't what they used to be, holding worn down features and nicks in the wood, but he was still pleased with them, as wood would always float.
Captain grabbed them both and headed back towards the skittish male, placing them down at their feet.
"Aye, if we're gunna go fishin' fer real, like a pirate, we gotta get sum fishin' poles. Right?" He grinned, wanting to try fishing out for awhile, and perhaps a surf shortly after. Surely this male would love it.. right? If he even had a choice. Captain chuckled like a pup, scurrying off to retrieve his old fishing poles, which were hidden in the ship that he had fixed up about a year ago.
Digging through all the old stuff, Captain smiled as he came across them. He grabbed two, and rushed back to Karl, placing them down and panting, as he was out of breath. Captain laid down, his energy low as he needed a little break before they hit the water. His tongue lolled from his mouth and he looked to Karl, wondering what he was thinking.
"Ever stood on a piece of wood on top of the water before?" He grinned. Surely Captain was capeable of preventing Karl from falling in with his element, but he wasn't sure how confident this male would be.
She was on her way to the beach after saying goodbye to the alpha. She had a lot of confidence in this mission, but part of her was still really nervous. She stepped on to the sand, with the deadly snake, Jynx following behind her. "Okay, now to figure out to do to this..." She said as she took a deep breath. She looked around and saw some wolves with what looked like fishing poles, maybe she could get some tips. "Hey! Are you guys some sort of fishing wolves or something?" She asked as she trotted up to them.
He turned his head as another wolf came towards them, turning to eye Karl and give hi a wink - it was a lady.
"Aye, Lassie! Yes, we Arrrrr!" He grinned, nudging Karl.
"My good friend Karl N' I are headed out to sea, in search of some food. Aye, are you a hungry wolf?" He asked, offering a smile. "Ol' Captain can show ye how to do it, this here's Karl's first time as well, matey!" He grinned. The more the merrier, right?!
Her ears bent back at her sister's harsh words. It wasn't like she expected to fall in love with an Earthling as she tried to venture on home. Awkwardly glancing to her paws, she squished her paws into the sand for a moment before giving a firm nod to her sister. She had to get home and the more they were procrastinating, the more Lysunder was missing them.
"Yes, it hath been well overdue." Anastasia replied, giving a longing look once more onto Tragen. She gave a gentle smile before fluttering her wings ontop of the rainbow besides her sister. "Let us return home." Anastasia wiggled her tail around before pushing past Angelina. With her head up high, tail erect and regal gait, Anastasia walked into her sister's black hole.
The female was greatful that her sister was still partially sane, and she nodded in agreement. "Let us then." She said, allowing her older sister to lead the way, following close behind. She took one last look at this world, wondering if maybe.. maybe some day,
The skittish wolf gulped at the mention of huge fish like Sharks, that was a terrifying thought. What if he got ate by some giant sea creature? All kinda of negative and scary thoughts started to run through his head again. But he shook them away a few moments later when he heard Captain talk again, it seemed like this wolf has been dealing with the ocean for a long time, so hopefully Karl was in safe paws. So he would make sure to follow Captain's directions properly.
"Uh...N-No I've never stood on a board in the water before either..." He told the other male just before another wolf, female had walked up to them, for fishing lesson's as well. He really didn't want to embarrass himself in front of a girl, which made him even more nervous. "H-hi, yeah I'm Karl...what he said." The shy wolf told the female.
She was a little drawn back by these wolves, they weren't like anyone she had ever seen. One talked ridiculous and one had interesting tattoo like markings. "Uh, Hi...Vivvy.. Anyways, I need to feed a whole pack of wolves, so yeah I kind of need some help in the fishing department." Vivica said, getting right to the point, wanting to get started on her mission as soon as possible.
He smiled to the female. Ah, a whole back? That was a mighty challenge.
"A whole pack ye say? Well, we best get to work then, aye?" Captain grinned at her. "But I ain't helpin' nobody with a face like that. We goin' fishin? You best be smilin'." Captain explained. He wasn't about to take a wolf with a bad attitude out to sea. Bad attitudes conflicted with his element. "I have control of the water, ye know. Don't want to drown out there, lassie." He winked at her, flicking some sand playfully her way, trying to brighten her spirits a bit. "Feeding a whole pack seems like sum sorta honor, dontchya think? You should be a proud proud wolfie." His tail wagged, and he turned out to the water.
"Well, I only brought two boards. I suppose you two can go out, and I'll control from the shore.
"If ye plan on catchin so many fishies, where ye gunna puts them?" Captain asked, expecting her to have some sort of net, or something.
As Captain harmlessly threw sand at her she giggled a bit and gave off a smile. It was so strange interacting with other wolves outside of the pack. But she enjoyed it, though she still had a chip on her shoulder, she liked being out in the world and away from the Scum of Inferno. "Yes, I am a proud wolf, I was sent here to provide food from the alpha herself." Vivica said with pride as she puffed out her Chest a bit.
But when he asked her about where she was going put all the fish she at a loss of words. She hadn't really thought of a plan just yet. "Ummm....I'm not to sure...what would you do?" She asked as she tilted her head to the side.
"Arr. That's the spirit." He smiled at Vivica, glad she was settling in a bit. It was more fun if there was less tension. He gave her a toothy grin when she asked him the same question he had asked her.
"Arrr, I'm not sure, matey. I've got an old ship across the beach, if you'd like the explore for something in there. There might be some net or a barrel, or something of that sort." He shrugged, pointing his nose towards the ship off in the distance.
"Karl, wantsa join us, ol' mate?" He asked, giving him a toothy grin as well, as he started to walk towards the old shipwreck.
He observed the others for awhile. But he decided that he would help the female with her huge fishing job, after all it would very hard for her to catch all of those fish by herself, especially if she was new to the whole fishing thing like he was. Plus he just loved helping others. He saw a dark purple hue to her, it was the color of a broken home and sadness mixed with anger. He felt bad for her because she obviously had went through a lot. "I'll help you Vivvy!" He shouted out as he caught up to her and Captain.
Vivica
She nodded to the two males and headed over to this giant ship, that looked like it had seen much better days. Once she stepped in, it smelled like death and old fish. She scrunched her nose. "Aw, yuck...it reeks in here." She said as she held her nose.
He followed along the two wolves sides, glad he had finally made some friends and there was some action around here. As they neared the ship he grinned to them, taking a sprint and pressing ahead, excited to see the ol' ship once again.
"She's a beaut!" Captain said, taking a huge breath of air in, filling his lungs. "Arrr. The freshest smell of the sea." He smiled, tail wagging. It was a great smell to him since he grew up with such a strong scent. He smiled and began rummaging through.
"Make yerselves at home - maties!" He called, "Let me know if ye find what yer lookin' fer."
