New Wolf Era

He had slowly walked away from the forest. The injury to his back made it hurt when he moved his right leg so he had limped. He was at the spot where he had last been with Amari on the beach. He remembered it from his sand picture of her and the skeleton monster next to it. He raised a curious brow at the palm tree den near by before plopping into the sand. He was bleeding a little on his head where his mask had held firm against Armor Oaf's pulling and from his left side.

His crooked ear perked up as a voice came from near him. A new voice? Impossible. His mask wasn't even off. He had been starting to rest from an eventful day but he finally acknowledged the one who had spoken by looking at the green female with his cat-like pupils through his mask. "If you felt the ground shake why would you investigate?" he lifted his back leg and let it fall back down to hit the ground causing another shake.

He laughed and coughed, not from being ill but from having done a bit too much of it today. "My my we should have known. The unnaturally bent trees and the pure dislike in the way you speak my element." He made the sand lift him up slowly and put him on all four feet. As if he were coming back to life. "Greetings, wolf of Earth." He had met a few before. In fact his brother had been an Earth wolf. He had a good heart, it tasted much like deer. He let out a low raspy sound and took slow steps to come close and take a sniff. She smelled kind of like her brother. Maybe she could make a good meal. "Its odd to see one of your kind at a beach."

Enemies...they weren't like friends. Not like Armor Oaf. In his screwed up head the term of natural enemies didn't occur to him. All he knew about hating Earth wolves was what his brother had explained to him before their hate to each other began to come up. "Enemies you say? Which means...we intend to hurt one another even without knowing each other?" He had friends for that but his brother is smart. That's right, Tork. Terra wolves and Earth wolves hate each other. Kill her. His brother's voice leaked into his head. The sand began rising behind the female, forming monstrous jaws.

He frowned but since his mouth was hidden the sand jaws did as well before falling in a pile. He started to circle her, slowly because of the limp. "How can that be? If you are enemies why would not be out for their blood? Better for them to dead. Brother would not lie to me about this..."

 A sand wall rose up from behind to keep her from backing away, at least in that same direction. "I said, tell me how we can be enemies and not be out for each other's blood?" He asked with a tilt of his head as he stopped in front of her. If she refused to answer him, he would be forced to follow his brother's instructions anyways.

He started to pace a little, contemplating what she said. "Dislike? I don't dislike anyone, I just kill them. Especially my enemies because that is what has to be done, right? Haven't I always done what you said? Yet she says you don't have to." He shook his head. He was very confused.

He jumped in front of her again and snapped at her. "We haven't decided if I'm going to kill you yet." As of right now, he didn't want to kill her. But his father and brother were telling him to.

When the female started running he grinned and was filled with happiness. He loved it when other wolves wanted to play. He sprinted after her but was considerably slowler due to his right leg. He made two large columns of sand rise up then go after her and try to ram into her. He made them dense enough to knock her down if they hit.

He quickly caught up to her once the sand knocked her over. He brought his skull-covered face close to her once more. "I guess we know why your kind hates mine!" When he opened his jaws he was drooling a little bit over the sand. He was so happy at the possibility of having two prey in one day. He went to try and bite into her side.

He did fall when his legs was grabbed. He hoped it would heal soon. As he lay on the ground after losing balance he went under the sand with a simple poof and nothing more. He chased after her, faster now that he was in his element, and sand rose in a hump where he was traveling underneath it and he was beside her. He jumped out of the sand to latch on to her with his claws and fangs.

Her paw just hit his mask making his head turn to the side but that was about it. He held his grip on her and started to try and drag her under the sand. This was definitely his way to play tag. He was always it though. He was using the sand to wrap around his lower self and help in his work to try to get her into the sand with him.

He inclined his head forward to where she just kicked his mask. But even mask was being hit against him causing some annoyance. "To pull you under the sand, my dear!" He said a cheerful tone as if he really was just playing a game. He gave a big pull using his whole strength and his sand's pull.

They were surrounded by just sand until he made it all turn into a pocket with an air hole so they would have plenty to breathe. He finally let go of her and sat back upright. His mask was slightly off from her kicking so his crooked mouth was showing and he was giving her a wide smile. "Tag. Your it."

He fixed his mask to hide his mouth again and started to try and get away from the vines which didn't work so well because of his limp. He was caught and tackled and laughed " Of course of course it was tag. What else could it have been." He only killed friends, family, and prey. She was just an enemy.

For few moments he was fine with the constricting vines but then it started getting too tight. He started to struggle against them not wanting to give up so he attempted to bite off the vines. Some sand started moving behind Fern and was coming towards to move up and surround her.

He sat watched her. Just staring at her through his mask without uttering a single noise. He suddenly tiwtched his head towards the left side and his left ear flattened against his head as a little blood started to trickle out of it. He dropped the sand surrounding her and jumped through the thorny leaves to tackle her, getting little cuts here and there.

He used his element to keep a grip on the sand and wasn't budged at her attempt to fling him off. The sand covering the pocket fell on them and then the ground rose. Now it looked like there had never been a pocket. He just stared at her for a few minutes after she spoke then started growling, loud and menacingly. The blood from his dripped down towards her. He then tried to bite down on the scruff of her neck.

He picked her up now that she was in his jaws and chucked her as far as he could across the beach. It didn't matter how far away she went, he just turned towards the trees and began stalking towards. His head twitched again. He was just going to ignore her now.

The pull from Earth's gravity was just too much to bare for the rainbow colored princess as she fought against the pull, attempting to stick to space in order to search for her older sister. The pull was becoming hotter and hotter, and before Angelina could choose fate differently, she was transformed into a firey hot ball of tumbling mass that couldn't be controlled much longer. 

To most, a perfectly great landing would be in water, and so landing along the beach was next to perfect for the Lysunder Princess. Although she was unsure of what this mass below her was, all she knew was it was hot, and she thought her life was going to end here.

Most would suspect a graceful landing from a beautiful princess, but the landing was everything but. Two balls of fire slammed into the beaches... sand. An unlucky hit for an unlucky search on a planet she didn't want to be on.. Slamming into the earths surface, Angelina was forced to slide a good fifty feet along the sand, sliding straight towards the water and crashing into an upcoming wave. The wave was no match for Angelina's speed, for she had fallen from thousands of feet and the meteor like-body of hers just kept on going. When the impact finally had subsided, Angelina was in the ocean and now struggling to swim, her butterfly wings were fluttering in a useless mannor and Angelina was forced to scream for help on this new planet.

Ziazen had landed next to her, and was currently unconscious and lying on her back. It was a horrible entry for the pair, and they didn't want to be here any longer than they already were.

"Oh, my! Please help! Servants... Servants!" She called, her head shaken from the collision as though she was still at home and in a pool of uncertainty. A large wave came tumbling in to make things worse, and Angelina was forcefully knocked back underneath the water's depths and pushed towards the shore.

Struggling to stand, Angelina felt pain throughout her entire body as she drug herself to the odd and ugly looking gritty floor that didn't represent her beautiful planet whatsoever. "This will never do.." She muttered. "Anastasia would never narrow down to a filthy place such as this." Her eyes looked up to the blue of sky, and yet again she was confused. Where were the black stars? This blue would never do. It was a disgrace to the space above. She muttered a few things, lying on the sand as another wave reached and brushed against her rear. Angelina was quick on her feet, scurrying up and away from the horrible water and towards the trees. Her legs gave in and she was yet again planted on the ground, when Ziazen was suddenly thrown off of her back and into the sand, landing on his stomach which produced a rather powerful impact causing him to cough up a disgusting mixture of water and sand. The two were speechless, and exhausted. Angelina then lowered her head and closed her eyes, too tired to ask for help, but too scared to sleep.

Slinking onto the sand Scarlet paid no mind to the other wolves on the beach, she didn’t know how exactly she had wandered onto this new land, but she was here now so it must have meant something. “It stinks here.” Scarlet jumped, looking around her she spotted a small black and gray mouse. It had followed her since they met in the forest she didn’t know what it wanted but so far it had not led her to believe it was going to harm her. She gave it a curious look, it was small as far as mice go, its eyes always seemed to be searching for something, and it had malice threaded in its voice so carefully it was hard to catch. “Well, we will only be here for a short while until I get some information about this place.” She sighed; she didn’t even know the mouse’s name. “You know, you don’t have to walk, I would carry you I you like. I am Scarlet by the way.” she added her black and red fur rustled as the wind caressed each hair. “I know who you are.” The mouse said absently as it looked around the stretch of beach. “But you don’t know my name; of course, I should not have expected you to.” He said drawing his ice blue eyes to gaze at her. “I am Marrisio; I'm what the wolves here call a ‘helper’, your helper to be exact.” He said, the two seemed to be having a stare down. Scarlet raised an eyebrow, “you’re supposed to help me?” she asked incredulous, she doubted this mouse could do much more than give an annoying bite with its long teeth. “Yes.” He said drawing out the word. “Help you discover your powers, and then help you use them, without me you would just be a regular wolf.” Scarlet was starting to think that being a normal wolf would be better than having these ‘powers’. “Very well, then we shall search for information about this place together.” She said, picking up the mouse softly by its scruff and placed him onto her back. Marrisio gave a small chirp of shock, but soon got over himself and settled into her back fur, content to watch as she padded down the coastline.

The male continued to pad across the shoreline, minding his own business for the most part. It had been a windy day, so they were walking with the wind and enjoying the breeze as they made their way away from that strange space wolf.

Just when Captain was about to complain about the inactivity on the shore recently, he noticed a new wolf off in the distance. As wolf and bird met eye contact, Hook let out a squawk and was quick to flap his large wings and lift himself into the sky to obtain a better view.

"Land ho!" The bird squawked, clicking his tongue as he swooped down and landed back on his wolves shoulder once again. Captain took that as an okay, and made his way towards the new land lubber.

"Avast, me matey! This sea dog is gettin' tired 'round here, Hookie. This one better be a beaut!" He called to his feathered friend as they approached the pair that seemed rather lost, and perhaps confused. "Better be a beaut, better be a beaut.. Squawwwwwk!" The macaw chimed in.

"Ahoy, lass! Ye be in a ship-shape condition for this here beach. Ye looks like a land lubber tuh me. Whats a beaut like yurself doin' round these water's edge?" Captain asked, his pirate tongue kicking in as he offered a toothy grin to the wolf and her little mouse. "This here's Hookie, and the name is Captain. Savvy?"

"Arrr! Shiver me timbers!" Captain smiled, lowering his head to bow as a proper introduction. "Where be my mannors? May you be named lost no longer, as now ye are founded, by Captain! The scally wag of the beach!" He playfully made fun of himself, sitting to take a moment and calculate his current position.

"Aye, ye be lookin' for some one or jus' travelin'? Ye has come across the Marine Gulf, that there is the mark." He said, pointing to the boarders. "The forest over yander is Phoenix Forest, aye, a beaut. I prefer the ocean though." He said, never once finding a thrill like the beach in the forest. 

"Ye need help locatin' somethin' or ye just lookin' for a place to explore?" He asked, smiling with a cheerful, toothy grin. He knew a lot about the beach, Sera, and the forest, but besides that.. Captain didn't know too much more.

Hook flapped his wings as he saw the mouse, frightened by it as the critter was so small, but he stayed perched on Captains shouldar, squawking every one in awhile.

Scarlet looked at the ferret, interest sparkled in her eyes for a brief moment; she wondered why the other wolf was so quick to dash away. “anyway.” She mumbled turning back to this Captain fellow. “I’m not sure what I’m doing; I guess I’m trying to find a pack, maybe or something.” Scarlet had not thought her plan of action through, she didn’t know where she was going or what she wanted to do, all of this was kind of moving too fast for her. Only a short while ago was she able to talk with this mouse that now stood upon her head. She had to say she was relieved that the other wolves had their own ‘helpers’ with them or else she would have felt very out of place. “Although, that adventure did sound interesting but I guess it was a hollow invitation.” She said laughing a little.

She glanced back again to the rock. -Maybe I should see if Aurora really wants someone to tag along with her- Scarlet thought, her eyes narrowing. She soon let it go when Marrisio started to squeak again. “Do you know anything about the location of packs around here?” Scarlet asked, she would have to start somewhere if she wanted to figure out what was going on, and the protection of a pack did sound nice.
