Physical Description: Altair is a nicely muscular wolf, unlike the majority of females out there. Her body is nicely toned, her muscles able to ripple and flex subtly around her shoulders and her legs. Covering her body is short, thick, unkempt fur that looks as though she has never even glanced at water while her eyes are a deep golden color. Her long tail just barely reached the ground, only the tail tip being able to graze against the dirt or the leaves. Stretching from her back are two long wings that are about fifteen feet altogether from one feather tip to the other.

Personality: She is a rather pleasant one to be around, depending on the day. Always to be found around her helper, Adair, for he is the only one she could truly trust. It is quite difficult to get Altair to trust you, for she is normally weary around other she has seen countless times before. There is always that feeling in the back of her mind that they may be lying, just to laugh behind her back later on about believing such things. After being around her for a while, she'll gradually learn to open up - little by little.

If there is one thing she is good at, it is being quite defensive. Especially over smaller things, for she is the type of person that loves to have the last word. Getting on her bad side is easier than getting on her good side, thanks to her incredibly low tolerance. Though it is impossible for her to hold a grudge more than two days, it is easy to get her angered at another.

History: Altair was born and raised in a pack that was quite secluded off, the only real way to get there was by a three mile long cave. The forest was trapped between mountains, and the Winters and Summers were brutal. Her pack was conflicted beyond recognition, for both Alphas craved to be on top and dominant towards the other. Living there - aside from the seasons - was difficult and she couldn't stand it anymore.

Eventually around the age of one year and roughly six months, she took off as fast as she could away from her pack in the dead of night, in the middle of Spring. There was no reason to look back - and so she never did.

Looks: Completely black aside from a tinge of orange around his neck and a deep brown webbing on his wings.
Personality: Adair is a calm, quiet bat that normally sticks to Altair's shadow. When alone, he is quite the chatterbox when not snoozing in the thick, fluffed fur around her neck - since he is nocturnal after all. Normally he helps give her advice, or fix a problem she is stuck on. Occasionally defending her verbally, for the physical stuff is completely out of his nature.
