Multiple scents drifted to the dark wolf as he slept, awaking him. "Eh?" he muttered still partly asleep. Looking down from the ledge he saw wolves at the base of the mountain. "How troublesome." shadows covered him forming a shadowy figure before disappearing.
The female walked along, giving a shrug. "if we're lucky, maybe a little arctic fox or baby bear.. Caribou can be found near the top... Let's explore and see what we come across," the female smiled, her tail wagging as she walked towards the tall mountains.
He followed after Mizuki and said "I feel so small next to these mountains." Rosuto looked at the sky wishing to fly once more but he then looked at Mizuki and thought for a moment. He didn't know what teathered him tot his wolf but he didn't wanna leave her, Maybe it was because she had been te only one to ever actually care about what he said. His eyes turned white with appreciation he opened his wings and bounded up the mountain glidin over the land with his out streached wings. He stopped on a ledge and looked back for mizuki his eyes still a bright white.
The way the males eyes changed colors facinated her and she smiled at him for a moment. "what do you think, Rosuto?" she asked. "shall we head high, or stalk low?" she glanced behind her to look at Farah. "you okay back there?" she asked in a kind voice, slowing down to allow the pink female to catch up.
Rosuto thought for a moment then said "I think hunting higher would be more of a challange...but it's whatever." He smiled and looked back for Farah his pretty eyes searching for prey as he waited for her.
Was up higher than the wolves bellow and started walking along the dge near some large boulders that formed near the edge. He walked by and his shadows cut straight through the bases sending four large boulders at the wolves then he disappeared again.
She looked around until boulder suddenly began falling. "oh my that's not good!" instinctivly she ran up towards Farah and pushed her out o the way with her nose, guiding the female to safety as the bouldArs rolled by, figuring the two males could move easily on their own, but she didn't want Farah to get hurt.
The wolf jumped high into the air snapping his wings open and pumping hard to sustain his body weight. He grabbed Farah's son bye the nape of his neck his eyes buring red with alarm a swirling vortex or worry, as the boulder passed he landed again and put Eziek down then said "Are you girls okay?
Farah meekly lifted her head up and nodded her head in response to Mizuki. Her gaze lowered as she watched her footing, her eyes slipping slightly up to make sure she was correctly following the wolf in front of her.
Eziek was more off the side from the group, his snout pushing along the rocks to test them out and to scent for prey. His ears angled over to Mizuki and Rosuto. "I'm up for the challenge, but I think maybe we should hit the middle ground? Not too high, not too low. It'll be like a mix of both." He stated in a loud voice. He inhaled deeply, getting into a coughing fit as ash and dust tingled his throat.
Farah looked bewildered as she was pushed to the side by Mizuki. Stumbling, she slipped onto some sharp rocks that were sprinkled on the ground. The boulders rolled right by as she managed to slowly pick herself up and shake her fur from the grit.
Eziek's ears flickered at the sound of a crack. "Wha--?" He asked, lifting his head up and noticing four boulders rolling down to them. He turned to look to the others before feeling himself get weightless. His paws barely grazed the boulder as it tumbled just past him. Then, landing on the ground once more. Eziek turned his head to the winged wolf, "Thank you for the assistance!" He called out in thanks before trotting over to Mizuki and his mother.
"Yes, yes, I shall be alright." Farah murmered softly, her fur standing on end still from the commotion.
She carefully inspected Farah's side that were hit by the rocks. "I'm so sorry.." She said, biting her lip. "Here, maybe I can help." She felt the power of Eziek's Anatomical in her, being slightly familiar with it she reached a paw up and reconstructed Farah's scratches to make it seem like it had never happened. Lowering a paw, she backed away and lowered her ears, "That better?" She asked, sitting down and taking a moment to recooperate the energy she had used.
The wolf smiled and nodded the went to Farah his eyes a swirling vortext of stars and explosions and said "I am sorry for flying with your son a few moments ago..there was just no time to ask.." He lowered his head and looked at her his eyes shining as he hoped she wasn't upset
Farah looked wide-eyed at everyone. She shook her head in silence at Mizuki, showing that she was quite alright. Watching Mizuki use her ability to help heal her scratches, Farah nodded her head. "T-Thank you." She murmured, shaking herself before sitting down besides the white wolf.
Eziek brushed up against his mother in comfort before smiling at Mizuki in thanks for taking care of her. He rubbed his muzzle along her scratches, to help reinforce Mizuki's healing process on Farah. "You alright, too, Mizuki?" He asked his friend.
Farah looked over at Rosuto as he apologized for taking Eziek on a small flight to save him. A small, wolfy grin crossed her face. "Oh, it's no trouble at all. You saved him, that's all that matters. Even if you asked, I would've said yes. Anything for him." She turned her head over to her son.
The female smiled. "yes! I am doing just fine, thank you." she smiled at Eziek, tAking note on how big he was - well past puppy hood. She couldn't help but smile as she pictured little Eziek scampering around when they were looking for his mother and father - oh they grow up too fast..
He looked aroundcarfully for any other dangers then said "So what do you wanna hunt for Eziek??" His fluffy tail brusing the ground, it was a very nice day out..great for the hunt.
Long and cold tounge dangled from the females mouth as she sprinted up towards the mountains. She slowed to a stop and sat there heaving and trying to regain her stamina. "Oh..my goodness.." She said, a smile on her face, "H-haven't run like that in.. years." She smiled, closing her eyes and feeling the blood pumping through her veins again, her tail dropping to the ground from exhaustion, entire body soon following behind it.
Eziek smiled, "I wouldn't want you getting hurt too, Mizzy." He shifted his tail back and forth before looking over at Rosuto. "Um," He started, looking around him. "Anything that we could come across. I'm not picky and any animal big enough that lives out here is new to me." He replied with a laugh. His blue eyes searched around for any prey but at the same time, he still held a glimpse of hope that he'd find his father somewhere around here.
She giggled at Eziek, "I'll be fine." she said, takin a momen to stand and shake the snow off of her fur. "well, let's chck this place out," she said, guiding her head towards a cave opening. "I could go for some elk, but seeing these mountains I don't know what we'll discOver!"
Eziek's blue eyes widened as Mizuki found some type of cave. He lifted his muzzle up and took in the damp, dusk scent. "What would we find in there? Maybe some bats, if you want to eat that." He wondered aloud, his fur quivering with excitement. He started to walk in, oblivious if there was any dangers. The cave yawned in front of him, causing him to disappear into the shadows. Griffin huddled himself along Eziek's shoulders for protection as the bird couldn't see and didn't want to fall victim to any predator's next meal.
Farah
Farah trailed behind the group and stood at the entrence of the new cave. She shook in place and flattened her ears in fright. She didn't like this cave, it was too dark. "Eziek," She called out to her son, not wanting anything to happen to him. She let off a faint cough and shook herself.
His eyes lit up with interest turning them a pure swirling white. He smiled and entered his eyes bright enough to give off a faint light. Rosuto opened his mouth and blew softly towards the top of the cave a small galaxy forming but its light dim enough to not scare any bats. He looked around not seeing much of interest other then bats, but then again who know how far this went.
He stalked them literally as a shadow on the wall wondering how else he could mess with them. Grengo crawls on the walls closely behind his wolf as he follows them.
Waru
Breathing only slightly heavy he grins wide."What, your tired? Back where I'm from this was a warm up before the real races started."
She followed Eziek slowly as he entered the cave, keeping in-between him and Rosuto. Her ears swiveled around as she heard Farahs voice, and she turned back. "coming, Farah?" she asked, waiting in her spot to see if she would follow. Mizukis anatomical element was ringing, as she felt the vibrations and heart beat of another wolf. Feeling it out right, she sensed he was against the wall. Mizuki didn't know what it was exactly, but her fur stood on end as she stared at the black figure. "Eziek, stay close, please."
He noticed the one wolf staring straight at him. Hmm must be an anatomical wolf. The dark wolf started a head of them then moved to the top of the cave and waited.
He felt his starts burn brighter at the feeling of dark oppressing presence. Rosuto was on edge immediatly and he heard Mizuki and he knew she felt it as well. He let a low growl rumble in the throat. He moved infront of Ezeik and his eyes darkened to an intense midnight purple. Rosuto couldn't afford to have these wlves injured, they were the closest to friends he had.
She watched as Rosuto made his way to the front of the group, but Mizuki did the opposite as she felt the footsteps of the mysterious wolf head deeper into the cave. "let's go check on Farah, I'm sure she worried sick about Eziek... In the mean time... She suddenly made her legs as tall as the cave itself, reaching up to successfully grab two bats before they fluttered away. Returning to normal size, the theif wolf smiled with her prize in-between her teeth. "Farah can have one," she mumbled, "Eziek, you may havethe other if you want." offEring her food to the mother and pup.
Eziek had moved closer to Mizuki as she asked him to, feeling uneasiness prick at her fur. He heard the scuffling of something farther off, guessing it was just some rat of some sort. Though, the heart beat was slower than that of a rat, for they carried quick ones. It was that of a wolf's and when his eyes glanced over there, all he saw were shadows. It seemed to fade away in the distance, but Eziek's fur stood on end as he felt almost beind watched. His eyes went white, blind and his ears closed up to become deaf to all the noise. His sense of smell increased rapidly because of the lack of other senses. Farah hadn't entered the cave, he could smell her. She was still at the entrence.
Eziek opened his eyes and his ears once more, becoming normal. He didn't want to stray too far away from her, nodding his head as Mizuki suggested going back. He gave a cracked bark, "Sure, I'm pretty hungry. Though, how'd you get them bats, Mizzy?" He asked, not seeing her grow and get them herself.
Races across the top of the cave causing all the sharpened stalagmites to fall as sson as he all the way out of the cave. He stands visible as just a shadow just above the cave entrance.
Eziek's ears lifted up as he heard the paws run across, his head following the wolf's direction. He turned to notice a few stalagmites had fallen from the ruckus ahead of them, clear out of the way from the group.
Farah
Farah pawed at the ground, trying to determine if she should go in and follow them or stay in place. She didn't like going into foriegn caves where it's dangerous and wished Eziek hadn't gone inside. Maybe she should go inside and follow her son to make sure he was alright? Farah shook silently, when a shadowed wolf caught her eye. Fright caught up to her, making her drop down to her paws for she was alone in the presence of a darker wolf. Everything in her body was telling her to run and get out of there, but her body quivered to stay as close as she could with her son. And if she ran into the cave, no doubt she would get lost in there.
Half of him comes out of the shadow and he stares at the pink wolf before shaking his head thenreturning to normal and clambering up the mountain side till he found a nice comfortable spot. "I suppose I'll let them hunt for abit."
She smiled at him, "Eziek, I have a lot to teach you about my element. But for now, let's find your--" Whack! As Mizuki was walking towards the entrance of the cave, suddnly she ran straight into a pink blob. Dazed by the impact, Mizuki shook her head and looked infront of her to see what looked like Farah. It was a by too dark for her liking, so she blinked a few more times, trying to stand so the small galaxy Rosuto made could shine on the object infront of her. "Farah, is that you?" she asked, hopefully.
Farah let out a yelp as a wolf tripped over her. She scrambled upward and trembled, darting to the outside. She noticed it was just Mizuki and the others, so she let out a relieved sigh and lightly walked back over to them with a wagging tail. "Thank heavens it's you guys." She cried out. "There was a strange shadowed wolf here earlier and I thought it was him. I don't know where he ran off to."
Eziek
Eziek tilted his head, "I thought your element was---" He was cut off as Mizuki ran into something and there was a yelp. He noticed it was his mother, so he ran off and gave her a comforting nuzzle on the shoulder. His fur stood on end as he looked around for the shadowed wolf his mother was speaking of. There was nothing that showed his presence here any longer. Eziek ruffled his fur and looked at them, his long talons seemed to scrap against the rocky ground with every step he took.
She silently nodded and offered Farah the other bat. "eat, mother. You need it." she said, giving a smile before proceeding toward the caves entrance. "we will hunt else where. This Is too risky for now..." although she felt a bit bossy, Mizuki wanted the family of two out of the cave and to safety before more trouble would come up. She glanced back, taking a small head cout Ronald sure no one was lost, including Rosuto.
The female laughed, "Well, aren't you full of energy!" She giggled, "Lucky you." Her tounge continued to loll out of her mouth, and in attempt to cool down, the female plopped down in some snow. She rolled around for a moment, similar gestures as a pig, bathing in mud. Once cool, Roulette re-stood on all four and approached the electric wolf. "Where too, lucky?" She grinned.
At the order, Farah dipped her head and started to nibble on the bat. She wasn't used to the taste at first for she was never raised up on bats and tended to get picky at times. Though, the meat was quite nice and she could feel her strength grow from it. "Thank you," She said, her eyes casted down on her meal.
Eziek
"Where are we gonna go off to next?" The yearling asked with a new vigor, giving his tail a good shake back and forth. He watched his mother eat before looking over at Mizuki, his eyes were glowing and the scent of blood started to make his eyes glaze. "Are we going to go farther up or stay about the same area?" He asked.
She let a brisk nod answer his question and headed forward. "To the top?" She grinned. It was so beautiful up there - She could probably see her old home from there, if she was lucky enough! "Ready when you are," She said in a flirtacious grin, her tail lightly smacking the males nose as she padded past him, knowing it would be less than a breath for him to catch up, being so fast.
He grins as her tail smacks his nose then looks up at the mountain. He could walk up ledges or paths but thats no fun, he'll just climb straight. He rand jumped up and started climbing straight up the mountain digging his claws in the rock for better grip.
She smiled as the mother ate, then carefully placed the other bat in front of Eziek. "we won't be going anywhere on an empty stomach." she smiled at him, gesturing for him to dig into the bat as well. She sat down and licked her chops, tasting the small amount of Blood from the kill. It made her stomach tingle, and a bit of hunger set in. She wasn't in the mood for bat though, it would be a tease for her stomach. "maybe we can play it safe and head into the valley where herd sometimes run through..." she thought out loud.
He sat down near then quite. Something about the past two disasters was quite..normal. This worried him but instead of sayin something and worrying them he kept his mouth closed and watched them eat prtectivly.
Farah was dropped down in a crouch as she ate, almost finishing up the bat that was placed in front of her. Eziek stared down at the bat, his tail wagging stiffly. The blood's aroma swirled around him like a halo. His eyes gave off an empty, hungry stare. He placed one taloned paw on his bat, clentching into it to cause more blood to seep out. With a fury of snaps, he was mauling the already-dead bat before chomping down on it, rubbing his blood-caked muzzle with his paws when he was finished.
Farah stared wide-eyed at her son, he looked savage by the way he was acting. "E-Eziek?" She asked, "Dear, are you finished?" She asked, remembering how his element deemed him to always hold that savagry whenever blood took over. She turned to Mizuki to answer her, hoping that she'd direct her attention away from Eziek. "The valley sounds great, I'm sure that'll be a good spot,"
Mizuki She watched Eziek torture and destroy the already-dead bat, and couldn't help but giggle. Her anatomical powers gave her a sort of enjoyment from the show. "oh, he's just bein a pup." Mizuki smiled at the concerned mother, wishing for a moment that Mizuki had a caring mother like Farah. She nodded at the females words and rose to her feet. "what do you say, Roaito? To the valley?" she asked him with a smile, for he seemed rather quiet.
"Don't test your luck, sir." She smiled, "It does wear out, y'know. Advantages can turn to disadvantages.." She watched him smoothly climb up the mountain, and took her own way around the path, skipping over small rocks and stepping up small steps, she watched him escalate towards the top. "No rush!" she giggled, her tail whipping around as she felt the tickle of her silly little Casino rubbing against her neck.
Looking down he grins"Sir? Now that just makes me feel olf." Hebi is curled around the left spike on his back keeping a look out for anything possibly dangerous. The electric wolf feels energy flow into his hind legs"No, I'm not in any rush at all!" He actually jumps forward and latches onto higher ground and almost misses but is now firmly in the side.
"Just being polite, sir." She grinned, flirtaciously, Watching him jump, and almost fall, she held in her breath. Was it her luck that had saved him now, or his? She herself stumbled over a rock while watching him, but it wasn't much more than a messy walk. "Right, right. Electric wolves, energy. Always fast.." She giggled. "Makes me tired just watching you!"
She looked up at him, then down at herself, letting out a light hearted laugh. "Now, I know I'm small and all, but do you really think you can lift me?" She knew electric wolves were fast . . .but. . .strong? Not so much.. She giggled again, and her curiosity got the best of her. "Alright, give it a go then," She said, looking up at him again, Tounge lolled to the side of her jaw.
He had been joking but this trip is supposed to be fun"Hey Hebi, watch this for me." he said sliding the spikes off then he clambers down. Normally electric wolves are faster than they are strong but he was a warrior before he got his element. He got underneath her and easily hoisted her up and started walking along the paths""Heh your right, you are small."
He smiled at her and said "Sure, to the valley." he stood and streched and started off at a slight jog down the mountain. He kept his wings out for balance and occasionally looked behind him for the rest of the wolves.
She smiled happily and prances after Rosito, "come on kiddos I'm starved!" she joked, although she was seriously hungry. She watched carefully for any more unfortunate luck that may spring upon them.
She laughed as he attempted to be taking his armour off and approach her, "You've got to be... WOAH now, watch the cargo!" She said, wriggling around in a nervous mannor as she was suddenly lifted from the ground. She felt Casino fidgit around, not too happy about the situation either.
Roulette though, soon found it humorous again and began to laugh - uncontrollably. "Oh my, this is a riot!" She laughed, "I may be small, but I'm not crazy!" She giggled, reaching down to playfully tickle the wolf on his ribs, "Still got me?" She giggled again - oh, this was too fun. All too fun.
