New Wolf Era

Akemi

He shrugged his shouldars iin return. "Me either," he said honesly, "just arrived in the forest, that's about it." He looked around, as if trying to spot her helper, and then stood and began walking, in no particular direction.

"But, if we know where we are going, won't that defeat our purpose?" He turned to look at her blankly for a moment, as if waiting for her to follow.

Trio


"Not liking soul very much?" He hadn't heard that one before. "I know wolves aren't too fond of dark wolves, and sometimes other elements such as electic and acid can be quite an ordeal, but Soul? I heard they're quite marvelous, and offer wonderful advice." He smiled at Sora, but shrugged away his opinion. "Maybe you've run into the wrong wolves on your journey..."

Yami

A soft giggle left her throat as he spoke kind words to her. Then, a strange feeling overcame her, as she stood there looking herself over, she noticed a slight hue glowing around her figure. Why had this happened? It made her feel.. almost as if her life was filling, happy, and almost.. stronger. She liked this feeling, but her gaze quickly shifted towards Orion, wondering if this was his doing.

Orion

He raised an eyebrow as the female began to glow. "You alright?" He pondered out loud, looking at the bright light that seemed to emitt from her coat. As if it was a mind trick, he turned to stand a little to her left, wondering if it was the sun that caused the light effect, but nope. He was dumbfounded, and astonished. "That makes you look absolutly.. beautiful," Orion admitted, smiling at her.

Sora

the black and green-wolf offered a faint smile. "I dunno if I'm ready or not to join a pack, y'know? I guess I haven't just gotten over my old one, so I'm not sure if a pack is right for me right now." It was kinda the truth. The other half of it was that joining a pack would mean more wolves that knew the real element, or take a good guess. "How about yourself?"

Akemi

He nodded to her, "that's what I meant," he reminded her, "but he could be listening, don't want to make anything obvious. We are adventuring for no reason what so ever," a stern face glanced at her, but he winked to let her know he wasn't being.. completly rude. "Sure, lead the way," he didn't mind much, this was her adventure afterall, right?

Trio

He shrugged, "I have no idea what's going to happen. I'd like to settle down with a mate, become a father, join a pack, y'know that good ol' fairy tale life." He chuckled, "But seeing as though I'm a handicap, theres not much luck for me. I get treated differently, and most girls stay away from me, expecting that I'm a weakling.." He sighed a bit, but his eyes were still bright, as if he had finally adjusted to this imperfection.

Trio

He laughed, "Yeah yeah, I've heard that pep talk before," He said, grinning at the soul wolf. "But, it takes a soul wolf to understand that. I go up to a water wolf? Pfft. Nothing. 'oh, look at him, HAHAHA CRIPPLE!" He remembered being mocked as a child, 'Cripple' 'Trio' 'Tripod' Ugh, how he wished his element wasn't stronger than him when he received it.

Trio

He chuckled, "I suppose," He said blankly. His eyes shifted towards the sky, dark clouds had piled in and it smelt of rain. "Oh, another way to brighten our day, correct?" He let out a slight laugh, but was more or less upset about the rain. Thinking quick, Trio shortened the length of fur he bore, to make the rain sort of trickle off of his coat and keep him more dry. The shortened coat gave him more of a muscle toned look to him, alone with the nub of his back leg being more exposed than before.

Trio

He chuckled a bit, slightly embaressed by Sora's comment. "Well.. I, uh," He didn't have much of an explanation. "I suppose three legs means more labor?" He chuckled slightly, looking around uncomfortable. It wasn't often he got compliments, but for some reason this wolf was chalk full of them, which he didn't mind.. it was just making him a bit shy.

Sora

"See? What did I tell you? Cripples are the strongest." Sora chuckled, and gently shook the wing that was shielding from the rain, splashing extra drops everywhere. "Why don't we go under cover? I know that I am dry, but you are getting soaked." Lightly wandering over to Trio, the second wing stretched over his own head, while the first still sheilded its master.

Akemi

He found this question almost strange, he never found it hard to see through the darkness. But, now that he knew it was a challange for others.. he brought this into consideration for his own self defence. "Hmm," he saiid, glancing at the ground as he stepped over a log that had fallen infront of him. Lifting his head, he noticed they had reached the lesser life of the forest. "I suppose me being a dark wolf, my night vision has been enhanced greatly." He did notice his sister had troubles seeing when it was darker out at night, him not seeming to phase anything. He wondered what other powers he secretly had, without even knowing it. "What element would you like to receive?" He asked, wondering her thoughts of the elements.

Trio

He let out a light hearted laugh before nodding in agreement. "Doesn't matter to me, rain or no rain.. either way I'm still me," He looked around, nodding to Sora for the wing of shelter with a small smile. "where shall we go?" He pondered aloud, looking around for some sort of shelter.

Trio

He nodded, and thought for a moment, trying to figure out where these two could stay, until he suddenly felt a bit awkward. "Uhm.." He looked at Sora, trying to distinguish if the soul wolf was male or female. It was rather friendly, and a little too friendly for a male; he feared this male was gay, and might be taking Trio in the wrong way. Shifting in an uncomfortable mannor, Trio looked around, "I don't see much, but it's alright.. I don't mind getting wet, and with my short pelt it doesn't stick to me like water normally would." 'wet? stick? having short haired and making his body more attractive looking? WHAT are you doing Trio! Stop setting yourself up in this horrible mannor!' "Er.. I mean, long hair works too. I like to be wet." Trio wanted to slap himself in the face once again for repeating the wet word, but he sat silently as if nothing strange had occured, but did allow his coat to cover up his physique yet again.

As the wolf startled to babble, Sora's ears flattened along the green mane. Was there something in the air that was making him go wierd? Could it possibly be the truth time? "Um...Are you alright?" He...Liked to be wet? Or was it because...He was really picking up on who Sora really was? That could quite possibly be it. The Soul wolf sighed. "I'm not gay. Don't worry."

Kanji

The rain wasn't making it any easier on Bandit, as the sugar glider dragged the body of a limp squirrel across the area. A small area of a knocked over tree stump gave Bandit some hope to get Kanji out of the cold and wet. He was shaking, and weak enough. Bandit was exhausted for the night, and once he finally made it to the log he laid down in exhaustion. "You can turn back now, we're safe. I don't want to get eaten so please...Then in the morning, you can try transforming into something.. a little smaller?" Bandit was a bit annoyed by the figure Kanji chose, doesn't he know Sugar Gliders only have so much strength? He wasn't some super strong animal. He was a glider!

Kanji nodded weakly, letting go of that last bit of strength as his body melted slowly into its original state. He kept his eyes closed, and the stump was too small to hide his whole body, so Kanji lay with his back legs straight out as he was on his stomach, and the front part of his body was guarded from the cold and wind. Bandit snuggled close, trying his hardest to keep his wolf warm, but he feared it was too late.

Dezera

The violet wolf let off a scoff. "His element would be enough to put an end to me. But I refuse to go out without a fight, even if there is no hope of winning. I would find a way or die trying." She said lowly. Personally, she would love to have her element by the next time they met. She had a feeling that it wouldn't be long till then.

A broad smile formed from her lips, feeling pride running through her blood. Looked like Akemi didn't see the weakness that others seemed to see in her. "I received some training on fighting, not much but enough to get me by." She said, a underlying bragging tone could be detected. Her brother seemed to rely on his element to get by and knew nothing on the art of fighting. That was her advantage and she would use that skill against him. And she was sure that she could learn a few things from this dark wolf, just as she did from Kanji, almost from Trio and soon from her mentor.

Her fur was plastered against her body, giving her a smaller appearence. It had started to lighten up with the rain, that saddened her but Dezera didn't dwell on that thought. She squinted her eyez as in started to grow foggy and Dezera was having difficulty peering through in. She noticed a shiny object up ahead in the distance, the only thing she managed to see. The yearling decided to head in the direction of the shiny thing to go investigate what it was.

Enki

He finally caught up, walking slower to keep Damon balanced on his bacl. He watched her laugh and his ears perked up as she soke. Letting out a deep but light hearted chuckle, he nodded as he remembered that moment, "yeah.. I'm not the best on ice," he grinned, giving her a happy smile.

Akemi

He walked silently as he listened to her words. It didn't make him happy that she would kill herself over such a small victory, but he left it at that for he too had his own goals he could die for, and understood where she came from in an odd way. Listening to her brag a bit, he nodded in understandment, "keep it up," he said, almost sounding a bit demanding, but it was just his dark and serious features.

Dezera

Dezera just turned her head to the side to look at him before turning her attention back forward at his comment. She increased her pace ever so slightly before approuching the object. She stopped and bent her head down at the object. It was a small silver-like ring, she sniffed it and wondered how such a thing had gotten there. It was quite pretty and as Dezera removed the dried leaves around it that kept it up in place, she looked down to admire it.

"Do you know how this could've possibly gotten here?" She asked, confused. Was it some other wolf's jewelry? Just like how her mother wore golden bracelets, but this looked much smaller than those. She looked around, half expecting another wolf to come by and claim it back.

Avery

Avery smiled at him, happy to lighten the mood. She walked closer to him and looked into his baby blue eyes. "It'll all be fine, okay? I promise it will be," She said before leaning in and giving him a comforting nuzzle. Avery's gaze went to Damon who was still snuggled up on Enki's back. "Here, give me him, you must be tired. It's been a long day. Let's just rest here. It's too long of a walk back to Ronoh."

Enki

He smiled at her, his eyes closing as she nuzzled him. "If you'd like," he said, offering her son to him. He was a bit tired from balancing the pup, but he'd never admit to that. Taking a seat, he looked around at the leaves that dripped with rain. "I think its only a drizzle now," he said, glad the thunder was off in the distance now, rather than booming in his ears.

Enki

"Its hard to believe they don't melt away," he said, smiling at her as he arranged himself to get comfy. "Your hearts too warm to be such a cold wolf," he shifted his eyes to Damon, wondering what element he would get. Hopes held high, he wished atleast one of his sons would get an element similar to his so he could teach them a thing or two...

Enki

Hearing those words sent a flash to the past. He quietly said thankyou but wondered what had happened to him. Back in the day, he was a stud, didn't care about the ladies just wanted some fun and wanted to impress them. Now, he had two sons and it was almost a whole new him. Sweet? Since when was he something so... not manly. He shook it away, and tried to remember why he was here: he finally needed to take action, grow up and become responsible. He looked at her, his eyes growing heavy as he thought about her returning for a moment. "You won't be in trouble, will you?" He asked, "for being away from home for so long?"

Kanji

He groaned, and blnked as he shifted his weight around, wondering where he was. Coughing a bit, Kanji sat up and hacked up some blood. "Ew.." he sighed, wobbly on his feet at first as he attempted to stand, and then slammed his head on the log above him. Falling back down with an oompf! Bandit awoke and frowned, "be creful, Kanji.. you don't need any more bruises.." Kanji rolled his eyes and walked out of the log shaped den, breathing in the smell of rain and forest. "Weren't we in the mountains?" Kanji thought outload, glancing at Bandit before swomeone caught his eye. Off in the distance, he spotted Avery.. and.. a male? And wha.. what the? A pup?! He turned around, and before he knew it, Kanji was throwing up flem. His stomach was completly empty and with only herbs keeping him up and about he just lost his gut with that site. How long could he have been gone? His heart sank as his sick eyes glanced back up at her, and he let out a whimper, not believing his eyes. "Bandit.." he laid back down, "why did we ever come here? It was a mistake.."

Bandit let out a dreary sigh, hoping that Kanji would one day have the respect he deserved. "Your hungry," he said, "I can't hunt.. but maybe I can find someone to hunt for you?" Bandit patted his wolves nose, "stay here, stay calm.." he warned, before scurrying off to find the wolf that had made the shelter for him. Spotting richter not too far away, Bandit lept onto a tree and began gliding towards him, landing on a tree next to him. "Kind sir," Bandit siad, clearing his throat as he hoped the male would hear him, "thank you for helping my wolf earlier, but could you help us once more? He is starving and I'm too small to hunt for him.. could you catch something so he doesn't faint from starvation? If not I understand and I won't bother you anymore.." Bandits eyes were wide and baby-like with the only hope he had left glistening iin them. He crossed his fingers as he awaited an answer.
