Physical Description: Shinraisei is of medium-build. His body is covered in long, thick, soft white fur that often billows in the breeze. His thick fur hides his sickly, gaunt frame His mane is very long, almost touching his feet and is kept to one side of his neck, like a horse. Long bangs cover his left eye. Four wings once sat upon his shoulders, two large, two small, but now has three. He has three long scars running diagonally from the right side to the left side over his eyes, which he keeps a black bandana tied around. His throat is kept hidden by a dark brown leather bracer. A sweet potato ocarina hangs from his neck by a leather cord.
Personality: Shinraisei is unnaturally quiet, but not just because his throat was too badly damaged in a fight. The air around him is always still and a certain silence envelopes everything. He is a loner and often keeps to himself. He will never come when you want him, but he will always be there when you need him, such as his name implies. After his work is done, he will go back to sitting quietly in a corner. He is artistic, though blind, and uses the wind to create gentle patterns on a wall or floor. He spends much of his free time thinking of poetry, which he is very good at. He is much like an old Japanese sage. Rai dislikes fighting, but will join if those under his wing need his help. He enjoys listening to others’ problems and tries his best to help them. Shinraisei is very dependable, and whatever he means to do, he will do, even if it means putting his life on the line.
History: When Shinraisei was a half-grown, around one and a half years, his pack was declared war upon, and being such a small pack, all available males were to fight. Young as he was, Shinraisei was a very good fighter. In the battlefield, he went up against an elite of the opposing pack. Rai fought valiantly, and eventually killed the wolf, but not before his eyes were gouged out, his throat ripped almost to shreds, and one of his smaller wings were torn off, the others badly damaged. He was left for dead on the scarlet field. Somehow, he gathered the strength to stand, and stumbled away from his pack. A mysterious wolf took pity on him, and gave him the items he now cherishes above all: the leather bracer, the black bandana, the and an ocarina . Where he got them was unknown to him. Rai wondered alone for many moons, learning to hone in on his environment. His sense of smell and hearing grew sharper, and, luckily for him, he found his helper, but still does not know exactly what he looks like.  With Toshiro's help, he mastered the air pressure around him, allowing him to see somewhat.

Personality: Toshiro is usually silent, and almost never leaves Shinraisei's side. He thinks it is his duty to protect Rai, since he wasn't there for the war. He hates it when wolves or helpers make fun of his small stature. He loves to sleep, because he thinks it will make him grow.
