Naomi

Naomi shrugged her shoulders, knowing that it might be a while before the pup arrived. She would need to be waken up first. Her tail swept back and forth, causing some gray dust to darken the whites on her tail. "What rank do you think you'll--" She turned her head to where Aiden's voice was last, only to be stopped arruptly. He had walked away from her and most likely didn't hear her. She flipped her ears backward and looked back at Zane with a hidden confused look on her face. She guessed that she was too cold to be around right now, but didn't mind it entirely.

A rustle came from a nearby bush as a pine marten flew into the opening of the territory. She arrived at Naomi's side and pressed herself against the cold wolf, it comforted her greatly. Naomi let a loose smile press her lips and she licked her best friend. "Glad your back," She said quietly, "Maybe we should go exploring again!" Opal gave the slightest of nods before sitting at Naomi's side.

The armor wolf nodded his head, bells ringing respectfully before lumbering off. He came across the deer carcass,and a mound of flat grass where he had laid...but where was Yachiru? He turned around. He had left her right there! He opened his maw and gave a mighty howl. He ended the call quickly, and ran around frantically to find his daughter.

Chocolate eyes peered from the shadows at the blue-white wolf. Rump raise high, her tail wagged quickly before she launched herself out of the bushes and pounced upon Naomi. "Snowwy! Snowwy Snowwy Snowwy!" she exclaimed, taking one of her ears in her tiny pink mouth.

Naomi

Naomi heard Kenpachi's howl, making her bolt upright into a standing position. She was about to race off before the little pink bundle popped out at her. She let out a smile, "Little Yachiru," She said softly, pawing at the small pup. Lifting her own head to the sky, she echoed off a high-pitched howl to indicate that Yachiru was with her. Lowering her head, she looked around at the pack before at Zane. "Are we just waiting for Bianca?" She asked, before thinking and blunting say, "And Banshee! Zane, is Banshee even a part of this pack? It seems he just comes to eat and then runs off to loner country without permission." She said, flopping her head to the side to look at the alpha. She was just curious about this situation and wondering if she was wrong to believe he was apart of the pack.

Opal gave off a soft hiss at Yachiru, pressing herself closer to Naomi. She started getting used to the pup but still, she didn't want to see it.

Yachiru looked up at Naomi, smiling. "Snowwy!" her short attention span was soon caught up at the hissing Pine Martin. Chocolate eyes wide, she crept nearer, stomach on the ground. Without warning, she sprung at the helper, gently pinning her to the ground with large puppy paws. "Gotcha!" she looked up at Naomi, grinning widely. "I got 'er."

Kenpachi froze in mid-stride, and listend to the howl. It was Naomi, and she had Yachiru with her. Giving a sigh of relief, he lumbered in the direction of the howl, trying to choose whether he should scold Yachiru or laugh at her.

Naomi

Naomi gave a brief nuzzle on Yachiru's head before she leaped at Opal. Naomi turned her attention back to Zane.

As the pup tackled her and threw her to the ground, she let out a hiss and lashed poofed out tail around. She had wide, frightful eyes and gave off a bitter whine. At being pinned, she struggled and batted her paws fearfully at the pup. Opal's teeth were bared in a frozen snarl at her attacker.

Naomi turned her head and glared at Opal, "Dear friend, relax, she's just playing. Might do you some good. I promise, she won't hurt you," She half-scolded, before turning back to the alpha. Opal quickly complied, not wanting to upset Naomi, letting herself stop flailing and go limp.

Yachiru

Yachiru barked at the struggling ferret-thing and leapt away from her, puppy teeth bared. Seh was confused on why the helper would be scary like that. Her smile faded, replaced by a deep frown. Her eyes grew moist, adn she couldn't help but sniffle. The reaction of the martin had scared her. The pink puppy wanted to cry, but what would happen if Kenpachi had walked in right then? She couldn't cry.

Opal had crawled up to her feet, wrapping her fluffed out tail around herself and let loose a warning hiss. Spotting the pup start to sniffle, the pine marten hunched her shoulders as if her whole body was regretting the next thing she was about to do. Leaning forward, she pressed her nose into the pup's shoulder in a friendly manner before slinking back behind Naomi. Her wide eyes returned as she looked at the pup.

Yachiru ~+~ Yachiru stopped sniffling immediately. She gazed, surprised, at the Pine Martin. She blinked a couple of times before launching to her feet and bowed low to the ground. Naomi swung her head around to face Aiden. "Yes, Aiden?" She asked in a cheery manner, he seemed sad about something. So, she lowered her head and looked intently at him, "Are you alright?" She asked him.

Opal was hesitant, feeling as if she was stuck to Naomi's fur. The helper looked from Naomi to Yachiru multiple times, fighting to run and hide but not wanting to upset Naomi. She arched her back and quickly bounded forward, nipping the pup's pink ear before running back to Naomi's side. Peering innocently with frightful eyes at the pup.

Yachiru ~+~ Yachiru yipped happily and bounded over to Opal, taking one of her ears and gently sucking on it. Her tail wagged and she stopped sucking, and started licking the Pine Martin's face, getting her puppy spit all over her. ooc: Lawl. He looked at the ground he knew what he was going to sound was mushy but he blurted it out trying to keep from blushing "Naomi.... I love you and I know this now that's why I want to ask you if you would possibly consider me as a potentential mate because I care about nothing more just you..." his tail flicked nervously and he looked up at her only to stare at the grass again.

Naomi/Opal

Opal let out a flustered grunt as she was attacked with licks. She shook her fur and held the urge to snap at the pup. To get away, she pushed against Yachiru and crawled underneath the pup's small legs; before running off and bounding away to Naomi. Skidding to a halt at the sight of Aiden, she fluffed out her tail and ran back to Naomi's 'safe' side. Her copper eyes stared out at pup.

Naomi's large eyes grew wider as she stared at Aiden. She stood still with her mouth open, speechless. She blinked her eyes and shook her head, "I-I'm sorry Aiden..." She paused, a smile playing across her muzzle, "What did you just say?" She asked, wondering if she was hearing this right. Her thick tail curled neatly across her spine as she looked back at him. She ignored Opal and Yachiru right now, glad that they were playing or doing who-knows-what.

Naomi's jaw dropped in shock, so she had heard right. She looked dumbfonded gazing at Aiden as if she had forgotten to speak. She opened her mouth to speak but nothing came out before she gave a small dip of her head. At first she gazed at the ground before returning to look at him. "Oh, Aiden..." She cooed, the only words she could manage to spill out. "I'm sorry, I don't think I'm ready to be mates with anyone just yet." She hiccuped out, "I still have so much to do! Explore other territories, work at my rank and...I'm not even an adult yet!" She said, raising her voice to a high-pitched tone. She said looking at him, already wording out the next part in her mind.

Naomi bit her lip, hating to see him sad. She bent her head forward to lifted his chin up with her nose. She looked at him, letting her neck recoil back to it's normal position. "But, Aiden," She said in a calm voice, "When I am ready, I would love to take you up on that offer." Naomi said softly, a smile pressed on her face. "That is, if you will wait for me." She said, hoping he wasn't upset with her and didn't want to deal with her any longer.

Yachiru gave a happy squeal. "Snowy! Fluffy is fun!" she announced before she hopped away and turned around. She sunk low to the ground, trying to hide behind every stalk of grass she could, as if she were really hunting. Her ears twitched forward, trying to listen to every movement her pine martin prey was making. The pink puppy settled on her haunches, hugging the grass beneath her, waiting. The impatient puppy could hold her stance no more, and dashed from her 'hiding' spot, trying to pin the martin with her paws again.

Zane

Zane smiled down from his perch over the pack. He saw Naomi and Aiden having happy conversation, and then Yachiru in the grass a ways away. He waited for everyone to arrive though, for this meeting could not take place with only half the pack. Zane found himself wondering where the darkness wolf, Banshee, was, for he seemed to have dissapeared yet again. Scoffing silently to himself, Demitri at his side, Zane waited.

Zane's hears perked at the howl, and she shook his head. Funny i was just thinking about him, his mind echoed. He howled back, telling him to return soon. He was excited about a prospective new pack member though. A small smile moved across Zane's lips.

Kenpachi's bells were soon heard and he emerged from the forest, black mane stuck with twigs from the branches he had smashed. Yachiru squealed and ran to him, rushing onto his shoulders and beginning to pull out the leaf litter. "Kenny!" she cooed happily, pulling a stick out with her teeth. her father stayed still, the pinpricks of pain not making him flinch.

Naomi turned her head away from Aiden to nod her head, "Yes, she can be very fun." She said softly before the pup ran off to Kenpachi. Naomi lifted her eyes up and wagged her tail happily at the sight of the armor wolf, giving a dip of her head and a small smile before turning her attention back to Aiden. "It doesn't really matter, I'm sure the alpha will know which I am worthy of." She said in a calm voice.

Opal watching at the pup tackling her before running to the large wolf, she sat down neatly at Naomi's side and ruffled her fur. Glad that it was over with.

Bianca

Bianca woke with a sharp start, suddenly gasping as she looked around. She was alone, and wondered how long she had been sleeping. Apparently the chamomile had kicked in all at once, or perhaps the days without sleep had finally taken a toll on her. Insomnia was a hard thing to deal with sometimes, and she hoped she hadn't blacked out too long. "Uhn. Belle, dear, what on earth is the time?" she grumbled as she sat up, her vibrant nova-schemed eyes bleary with sleep.

Bellinda looked around, and if she could, the lizard might have bit her lip. "Uh. Dunno." Bianca stared at her helper long and hard, before frowning and letting her head fall back in exasperation. "And you call yourself a Helper?! Well, let's go." she grumbled, grabbing the Water Dragon and placing her on her back, taking off to the sky and soaring at a fast pace.

It wasn't long until she came across the rest of the pack, landing beside them. Trotting up to Zane, she dropped into a bow and gave an embarassed, apologetic, and sheepish smile. "I am so very, very sorry." she said, slinking back a bit. What on earth would he think of her now?

Naomi nodded her head silently at Aiden before watching as Bianca had arrived. She gave a smile to the winged wolf, "Your not that late," She reassured her, her voice gentle, "Zane didn't start yet, we're still waiting for Banshee..." She trailed on looking around, expecting him to arrive with the wolf that he was trying to convince. "Don't know if you heard, but Kenpachi and Yachiru are apart of the pack now." She said, filling her in, just in case she didn't hear due to the recent decision.

Zane

Zane nodded to Naomi, "Yes, no worries about your lateness Bianca, at least you were in the pack lands..." he grumbled. Sending out one more powerful howl to Banshee, Zane was getting slightly annoyed by the dark wolf's absense. He was never in the pack lands was holding up the meeting for the rest of the pack members. He sighed, but focused on the members that were here.

Smiling down at Bianca, he looked into her beautiful eyes and almost tripped over himself. They were especially pretty today. Shaking his head and gaining his composure, he returned his gaze to Bianca. "Did you sleep well?" he wondered, flashing a toothy grin. His hair was standing on end and sparks were starting to form under his paws not only from talking to Bianca but because ranks would be chosen today. It was a good day indeed.

Bianca

The comments seemed to succeed in calming the space wlf, and she took a deep breath, wholly regaining her composure. "Right." she agreed. At least she wasn't that far away, and the meeting hadn't even started. This was a ranking ceremony, and she was suddenly very excited about that. She had an idea about what her rank might be, and of course she had her share of ambitions. Everything was sure to work out for her, she could feel it. Glancing to Naomi, she gave the other female a small smile, nodding and giving her a look of good luck. She appreciated that she reached out and told her that she wasn't late, plus the ice wolf was nice. Very accepting and carefree; it was a good change from the normal types.

Looking back to Zane, she nodded, her smile growing just a bit. The hair closest to him seemed to flicker on end a tad due to the static electricity around him, but she didn't really seem to mind. "Yes, perhaps a little too well, as you can see. Any sleep is wonderful, really, for me it is hard to come by..." she murmured almost sheepishly. She tended to keep her insomnia a secret, since many found it to be a weakness, that she would miss something important or be tired all the time, and thus could not be trusted with a high rank.

However, usually she kept it in check, and when she was tired, waited for a good time to sleep. This time had been a terrible fluke. The only reason she said anything was because she trusted the wolves of Ronoh.

Zane

Zane nodded clamly at Bianca's revealing of her sleep problems. Zane didn't mind though, for he himself barely slept much. The energy running through his veins from his element never eased, and since sleep was a time of rest and calm, it was a rare occurance to Zane. But unlike other wolves, the lack of sleep didn't effect him as much. "Well i apologize then for ruining your valued sleep," he smiled, watching her eyes, "I do hope you'll forgive me," he chuckled lightly, his tone had a husky hint to it and it almost sounded as if he was flirting with her.

Zane immediately regretted the words as he said them though, for it was highly dishonorable to be flirting with a female at a pack meeting. His smile never wavered though, and he hoped Bianca might like him enough to understand what he was trying to say.

Zane

Zane looked down at Banshee with anger in his eyes. "You mean to tell me that you have held up my entire pack meeting to tell me you would like to leave the pack?" The tone of the electric wolf's voice was harsh. "After everything, Banshee? After i protected you from my brother, and helped you with Eli?" Zane was mostly dissapointed above all else. This was highly disprespectful, especially since he had kept the entire pack waiting for such news. And Banshee had barely been in the pack lands since he had joined the pack, which Zane had dealt with. The alpha shook his head angrily, his fur on end with energy, and his eyes an eerie blue.

Bianca

Bianca smiled, staring back into his own eyes. She noted that they had become a bright blue, probably because of his element. It was an exciting change from the usual, endless black of them. "Of course... how could I not?" she asked. You might have called her voice breathless, but considering her voice was always a sort of celestial, echo-y whisper, it could easily be unnoticed by anyone who didn't pay attention, or didn't know her.

She too was aware of the others around her, and beneath her dark fur the skin of her cheeks darkened subtly. While she continued to watch Zane, she stepped back slightly and sat down, her smile shifting. Small, and almost seeming to try and tell him something. But what, exactly? Surely she wasn't saying to save this for after the meeting, right? That would be... well, he was the Alpha, right? Wasn't this... Ugh! It boggled Bianca. Despite being a decent peacemaker, she was by no means knowledgeable in the flirting, lovey-dovey business. She had never had to be. It was odd to her. Her eyes shifted to a smokey blue-black speckled with silver, a white-ish fog dusted over that, almost like they were betraying her confused thoughts with the image of a cloudy night sky.

But suddenly Zane was yelling over at a black and red wolf, one that she vaguely recognized. Hadn't she met him when she first got here? She blinked, folding her wings tightly as she watched the exchange unfold. It would be interesting to say the least, and may end up in violence. There was nothing good to come out of trying to leave a forming pack during a meeting to establish ranks.

Zane

As angry as Zane could have been at Banshee, his eyes continued to drift to Bianca. Knowing her love of peace and harmony, he would be willing to let Banshee go without trouble. He just wanted the wolf to have some remorse for leaving so unexpectedly. Shaking his head lightly, he looked to the space wolf once more.

Zane's eyes were shining as he looked at her, and his eyes held promise for after the meeting they would talk. He was looking forward to it, and it made him all the more eager to begin this meeting.

Bianca

Bianca gave Zane a small smile, seeming to thank him for calming down. She could sort of explain Banshee's delima. He had someone he wanted to leave for, a female by the sound of the name. Bianca herself knew that if she had something, or someone she felt passionate about, she would want to leave a pack to. It was the reason for her leaving Andromeda, her birth pack, after all. She knew there was something out there for her... and she felt she found it here in Ronoh.

Her eyes briefly moved to Banshee, giving him a look of goodluck. She wasn't going to say anything, though. Personally she accepted his decision, and thought it was smart how he asked to leave, not simply said that he was. It gave respect to Zane's authority, whether the darkness wolf--or anyone else--was conscious to that effect or not. She wasn't wholly commeding him, though. It was still dumb timing, and the wolf was lucky he wasn't chased out and labelled a kill-on-sight deserter on the spot.

She reached out with a wing, lightly touching Zane's shoulder to calm him in case he was still shaken up. At least he could look forward to the fact that now, since Banshee wasn't participating, everyone would be here and he could start the meeting up.

Banshee his emotions began to get out of hand despite himself. He looked to Zane with black eyes and said icily "Zane you are angered because I ask to leave for a girl I very well love?! Yes you have helped me more then you realize but do you not think that I'm filled with gratitude towards your hospitality and genorosity?" he growled trying to remain calm "I am leaving Ronoh Zane because no matter how much I like you and this pack of cannot compeat with the feelings I have for Calique." he looked at Zane his eyes red again and turned to walk away.

Zane

"That is your choice Banshee, though most likely not the smartest. My brother wants you murdered on sight, and now you do not have a pack behind you. But i will not force you to stay, nor chase you out. You leave on your own accord. But know that once you leave your position as a pack member, you will not get it back easily." Zane nodded his head at his own decision and watched the retreating back of the darkness wolf. "Good luck, i wish you the best with the female," he said sincerely as a small smile crept along Zane's lips.

Turning to Bianca, he smiled his thanks to her. Her calm energy had helped him some in his decision and he was definately grateful for it. He dipped his head in a small thank you to her and then turned to the rest of the pack. "Wolves of this Ronoh Pack, now that the members are all assembled, i believe we should start our ranking ceremony. I hope you will all be happy with the ranks i have assigned." Zane stood straight and tall, chest pushed forward in a very noble stance. His voice echoed in a very powerful tone, and Zane looked very much like his father in that moment. He gazed upon his valued pack and looked first to Aiden and Naomi, the first members of his pack and therefore the two that would be adressed first.

"Aiden, bourne of the water element and one of the first members of my pack, i have decided on a rank i see fit for you. To find food for our pack and keep us well and healthy, i ask you to be a Hunter of Ronoh. Do you accept this rank?" Zane asked, staring intently at the blue wolf. He smiled encouragingly and waited for a reply.

Zane nodded back to Aiden with a wide smile. He then turned to Naomi. "Naomi, bourne of the ice element, i ask you to join Aiden as a hunter of Ronoh. We need wolves with skills such as yours to help gain food to feed our growing pack." He said officially, in a very strong voice. Zane made perfect eye contact with the she-wolf and smiled his encouragement. He believed this was a good role for Naomi, since she didn't seem like she enjoyed fighting to much. Zane's eyes were shifting from black to blue and back again in his excitement.

Naomi let out a smile, dipping her head as Aiden got to be a hunter. She turned and stood up as Zane had called out her own name. Giving a deep bow as she recieved her rank: hunter. "Yes, Zane. I shall try my hardest to feed this pack." She said calmly, hiding her excietment. She knew she would have to learn the new hunting techniques due to the fact that she was taught to hunt on the ice-coated land and that was much different than here.

Naomi's ears flickered breifly at Aiden's voice. She smiled and dipped her head before settling down once more, looking over and wondering if Zane would give ranks to Kenpachi. He was brand new to the pack and didn't know if the alpha knew much about his skills. Her eyes flickered to Opal who was sitting up proud for her wolf. Naomi's gaze shifted to Bianca, wondering what her rank would be. Herb wolf, hunter, beta...alpha?

Zane nodded formally once again to Naomi like he had to Aiden. Then he turned to Bianca. Banshee was supposed to be next, but since he had left the pack that made Bianca next. "Bianca Vespix, bourne of the space element, I have seen your knowledge of herbs and remedies first-hand. Due to this highly valuable knowledge you have, i ask you to be the healer of Ronoh." Zane smiled at the space wolf, for he thought this rank was especially perfect for her. Demitri hummed his approval at Zane's side.

Kenpachi watched as Naomi got the rank of hunter, as did Aiden. He didn't really care that the Water wolf was a hunter. The Amor wolf would maybe go behind the hunters, gathering the heavy food they could probably not carry on their own. He would help Naomi, but would leave whatever Aiden had hunted for Aiden to carry.

The mighty wolf uncharacteristicly wiggled excitedly where he sat, mane standing on end for his rank. His bells made him too noisy to hunt, but if he was a fighter...His mouth started salivating. Oh, if he was a fighter! Maybe, if another wolf was a fighter, he could have daily, or even thrice-daily fights! Zaraki relished that idea.
