As if it was her cue, Meiko had appeared amungst the two male x female conversations, along the beach. But to her disbelief, there were no hiding spots amugpng the beach, so she frantically looked around, hiding behind a higher level of sand.
her first glance came upon a time and dark wolf, they seemed to be communicating, but the time wolf looked a bit annoyed. She wondered if they were mates, and having an arguement. Shrugging it off, her glance turned towards the next couple, an ice and.. a pink wolf, maybe soul? She didn't know, but it seemed she was very frightened, and the male was trying to calm her down. They too, being mates must have gotten in a fight and now the male was forgiving her.
Meiko sighed. So many couples, no one out there for her, Except that armor wolf..
Farah felt a striking bow hit her that was so sudden and unexpecting as the new male spoke of seeing Enki. She lowered her gaze. So he did lie to her, what did she expect from another male? A small whine grew in her throat as she shuffled her paws back and forth. Attempting to collect herself but failing miserably, she forced a thin smile, "Erm, I'm, uh, sorry about not finding your friend?" She stuttered.
"I'm Farah," The unattractive female introduced herself, since it was only fair for her to exchange the introductions. Opening her mouth to speak out more words, but finding it incredibly hard to form the voice to it. At last, she forced the words out, "Yes, I'm alright." Farah bit her lips to prevent a sigh from emerging.
"Haha! Now that's a reason I can relate to," Tyki commented with a carefree chuckle. He wanted to ask where poison and threat of death came in, but he soon understood that he wouldn't have remembered her intervention. His amber orbs stared into hers with interest. To be honest, he never tried to consider - much less interpret - this side of her personality at first. He smiled the smallest bit, then twisted it into an amused smirk as she added to her reason. "Is that so? Well, I'm happy to have helped with that epiphany." The loner whipped his tail through the sand and looked out into the water. He could tell that there was more behind her words, but didn't dwell on it. What now? With evident charm in his expression, he created a butterfly from dark matter and allowed it to hover around Calique. In another moment, it exploded and was reduced to dust. "Don't you love how destructive a beautiful thing can be?"
Calique smiled lightly and watched the butterfly, not suprised when it turned to dust. "I do," the she wolf answered, thinking about beautiful things. "The opposite is true as well you know, many ugly things are peaceful and harmless." the time wolf noted, looking for her helper, who was a perfect example of this. Calique had a cruel mind sometimes, but she cared little for what others thought of her cruel words.
"And I don't expect you to remember the poison," Calique added with a chuckle, remembering he wouldn't have that memory. "But Banshee bit you, and had I not helped you would have died," the she-wolf said, looking out over the waves.

"Hmm. True that. Good thing neither of us are one of them. I have the mark to prove it," Tyki responded with carefree amusement. He tilted his head a bit in a nonchalant manner as he spoke those last words, so that she could see the beauty mark below his right eye. He chuckled. Not that he was one to boast about charm. In fact, most other males were quick to underestimate him based on that one physical attribute alone. He smiled without emotion as he listened to Calique's description of what could have been his fate. "Well, thanks for that. To be honest, I wouldn't have known it until it was too late." Tyki allowed his voice to become distant, but it still held the same carefree note as before. He licked his maw and watched the female with mysterious amber orbs. She was kinda easy to talk to. He found comfort in that.
Calique looked at the wolf's mark below his eye. "Oh yes, I see," she noted, nodding her head. an easy smile was plastered across the time she-wolf's face, for she was growing quite relaxed from the sand and atmosphere of the beach, along with her new friend. She chuckled to herself and shook her head.
"No problem. It's no fun when someone dies too quickly into a battle. I don't really enjoy fighting myself but it's always fun to watch and interfere from time to time," Calique laughed again, eyes twinkling. "Its entertaining," she said, shaking her pelt lightly to get rid of some excess sand.

"Yeah. Well, I won't lie. I love to kill, but I'd rather not make a mess out of it," Tyki responded without a care in the world. Murder was a bit of a pastime for him, which shouldn't come as a surprise. It was almost an obsession, but he tried not to think of it as that. Why should he? He wasn't a barbaric, psycho sadist like most of his kind. Well, at least not all the time. Heheh. "So it's better to do a hit and run sometimes when I'm feelin' finicky. But man is it boring," He chuckled. The loner smiled with the usual note of charm and watched the female from the corner of his eye. No wonder she drooled all over that pathetic male from earlier. She really seemed to know how dark wolves think. "Oh, I love to screw with people. We should team-up sometime." Tyki stood and let out an amused protest as she shook out her pelt, then watched the ocean with intent. It was about time he ate something. He couldn't even remember the taste of koi. Oh, baby, that stuff was delicious. With a desireable lick of his maw, he trotted towards the water, then hesitated and looked over his shoulder in a silent invitation.

Calique watched Tyki trot up to the water and she followed close behind. The female walked around by the edge of the water, enjoying the cool liquid on her paws. She sighed in enjoyment and continued to walk around the edges of the water. "Haha, hit and runs can be rather dull," Calique agreed. "Wolves don't fight because they dont realize whats happening." the time wolf said with a small chuckle.
"Teaming up would be wonderful. We'd find someone to prey on, you could fight and I would stay to the side, fixing all of your mistakes," Calique said with a devious smile. "I prefer not to get blood on my white coat. It stains," she explained. Calique waded farther out into the ocean and dove under, being careful to stay away from the currents. She loved what the salt water did to her hair. Calique made a beckoning motion to Tyki for him to follow her in.

"Exatamente," Tyki said in his native speech, a carefree smile on his maw. That was how it went down most times when he still had his hitlist. He reminisced on those wonderful occasions while he tested the water and trailed around the edge.
"Hmm? Well, don't expect me to make many. Heheh," Was his amused response as the female awakened his senses. A psychoatic smile dominated his face, but managed to have a boyish touch to it. Sure, he might screw up to keep her entertained, but it wasn't often that his mistakes were deliberate. His smile widened at her next comment. Oh, how he wanted to mention how much that sounded like him. But she didn't need to know that.
He blinked as Calique waded in, then paused on the spot and lost his intimidation. "Tch. Wow..." Tyki mumbled with a captivated expression as she beckoned him to join her. Yeah, he blamed his dark side for that one moment of weakness. With another blink, he became mysterious and oblivious once more. "Hold on a second, meu caro." The loner shook out his pelt until a deck of cards fell into the sand, then let out a breath and followed Calique into the waves. He dived under and snapped at a fish that passed, then surfaced near her and squirted out a jet of water. "So, how are you?" He aked in a casual manner as he watched for a koi to appear beneath him.
Calique smiled playfully as Tyki waded into the water. "You made a few last time," the time wolf teased with a chuckle. She dove under the water again and resurfaced, shaking water from her ears and pelt. She purposely shook some of the water onto Tyki, and Calique laughed happily as she did so.
"I'm good," Calique said in response to Tyki. She didn't notice his previous lapse in attention, for the female was enjoying the water too much. "This water is nice," She said, closing her eyes ans sighing. "How are you?" She wondered back, locking eyes with her friend.

"Uh-huh. I didn't say I never make them," Tyki snickered with carefree amusement. He blinked and cast the female a mischevious, insane smile as she shook water onto him. He bared his teeth and splashed her, then dissapeared under the waves. He came back up a minute or so later and let out a sigh an inch from her ear. Oh, he did love to screw with people. "Depends on the time and day," Tyki said in a matter-of-fact tone. He was about to add more, but shut his mouth the moment he spotted a koi beneath him. In an unseen movement, he snapped his jaws down and captured the delicate fish. "Oh, baby..." He said in an oddly sensual manner as he admired it. Without another second to spare, he ripped it apart and devoured it whole. Tyki licked his lips, then tilted his head a bit as he noticed another nearby. "It's all yours, meu caro."
Watching the two wolves curiously in the water, she frowned. Another couple. Goodness gracious, when would she find a wolf that wouldn't be paired up with another, engaging in a nice day together, and whatnot. Laying down now, she lowered her head and rested it on the sand, staying well hidden and behind a nice mound of sand, wasn't the best hiding spot, but wasn't the worst either.
Lux felt the sun's rays almost seem to intesify as he grew closer to the Gulf. He felt his pace slow down into a more relaxed one. Finding a good landing strip along the sandy shore, he tucked his wings in to descend down. As he got close to the ground, his wings flared open to slow him down as he took a running stop. Kneading the sand with his paws, he noted that the golden color was very much similar to his own. "So, this is the beach?" He asked aloud, taking in the sights that brough a sparkle to his eyes. His bandages around his legs whipped back and forth making a ruckus as the ocean breeze brushed past him.
Lux opened his mouth and could instantly taste the saltiness. His eyes scanned about and noticed something of a dusky color in the form of a wolf seemed to be. Locals? "Hello there!" He called out, dipping his head but not moving closer. He was sure that any local could easily tell that Lux was out of place.
Blitz scrambled off Lux's back and looked around in a dizzy state. "Calm down on the landing, there bud!" He exclaimed, holding his hands to his white head. "What a sight, ay?" He announced, standing on his hind legs.
Calique smiled. "Meu caro?" she wondered, tilting her head to the side. She looked down into the water at the other fish that was swimming by and Calique snatched it quickly. She ripped it into small pieces and ate them slowly, savoring each piece. "That's really good," she said as she finished the fish off.
"Oh course you make mistakes," Calique teased again, splashing Tyki playfully. She got him all wet and she chuckled to herself. "Oh sorry," Calique teased, pretending she had done it by accident.

She looked up as she heard a voice called to her. To her. She couldn't help but smile. No one had said hello to her, in quite some time. Not only that, it was a male.
A single, solitary male.
A single solitary male, with nothing more than a squirrel.
A single, solitary male.
She quivered with excitement, and would have bounded over to him, had her legs not locked in place. She trembled now. Last time she approached a male, that armor wolf, they spoke to her, and she ran off. She held her stance, but didn't dare to approach him, instead she watched him, her eyes wide and full of curiosity.
Lux gave off a bright, friendly smile as he always did around others. She uttered no greeting but he guessed it was because he had surprised her. "I am Lux," He introduced, dipping his head. "I hope I didn't scare you. Do you live here on this beach?" He asked, taking a single step forward. His wings gave a single beat to remove any sand collected inbetween the feathers before shuffling and tucking in besides him.
She watched him, her head tilting to the side, she understood, but couldn't understand why he was speaking to her.
Frightened by his step though, she did back away quickly, before teleporting once again.
But, instead of leaving, she simply teleported behind the male, quietly sniffing him from behind, curiously watching him, staying rather silent, hoping he wouldn't know, or hear her, behind him. Standing still, only her nose moved, as she tried not to tremble.
A quiet whoo was heard not too far off from her, a reassuring call from her helper, to hang in, and not leave. She nodded in agreement. She would try.
"That means my dear in Portugese," Tyki explained with a distant, charm-induced smile, his eyes on the koi as the female consumed it. He let a touch of sentiment overcome his demeanor in response to her comment. It was his favorite fish for a reason.
"Don't we all?" Tykisnickered. He blinked in a startled reaction as Calique splashed him, which caused him to lose the intimidation in another moment of weakness. With a tch, he blew a loose strand of fur out of his face and composed himself. "Geez, ladies these days..." He said with a melodramatic sigh, his expression banterous. "Fine. Be that way."
The loner cracked a psychoatic smirk and manifested a butterfly, then dropped it into the water like a time bomb in an unseen movement. In the next moment, it soaked the female in an explosive wave. "Oops," Tyki said in a mischevious tone, a paw to his mouth as he attempted to hold back his obvious amusement.
-- Edited by dazeebster on Tuesday 1st of June 2010 04:48:05 PM
Lux watched her with intrest as she seemed so innocent as the female spoke nothing and gave the slightest tilt of her head. As she backed up and vanished, Lux's jaw dropped a little in shock and gazed around to see if she was anywhere farther off down the shore. His ears pointed forward to try and hear anything but all he could make out where the thundering waves hitting the sandy shore. Soon, his ears twisted around and her scent was behind him now as it came out at a random moment.
Arching his neck and turning his head to look behind him, he kept his smile in place. "Psychic wolf?" He asked in a friendly tone, making a mental note to himself to secure his past in a vault deep inside his brain. No one needed to know about it and bringing it up would release that information to the world through a simple mind-read from the wolf. "I do apologize if I had frighten you, I did not mean to in any way possible." He confirmed truthfully.
Blitz let his tail lay along the curve of his spine as he turned in the direction to see Lux talking to the reappearing female. "Not a speaker, eh? Helper got your tongue?" He snickered, letting his thoughts form into words without much thought.
Meiko trembled as the male spoke to her again, and her ears perked as the little helper spoke. Taking his words offensivly, she lifted her maw, baring her teeth a bit.
As if Pollo knew this reaction, he swooped down and grabbed the small squirrel, lifting him high into the sky.
Meiko watched them go, a little bit of terror hid in her eyes, she didn't mean any harm by her sign language to her helper, but it seemed like he had things under control. She backed up though, ready for the male to react in a horrible way.
Pollo whooed down at the squirrel, "don't make fun of her, she can't speak," he said simply, "and she's sensitive. Scare her away, and she'll never make a friend," the owl said, down to the squirrel.
Lux flinched as she exposed her fangs toward him, mostly to his helper. Before he could apologize or sheild his wings in front of his friend to protect him. An owl seemed to snatch him up making panic strike through Lux's heart. Flattening his ears, the light wolf reared up on his hind legs as if to try and snap the owl to bring his friend down. He didn't necessarily realize that the owl was a helper, but more of a predator that wanted to feast on his friend.
Feeling talons clutch him, Blitz struggled under the grip but he failed. The squirrel wriggled around. "Put me down this instant!" Blitz demanded with wind rushing into his mouth as he opened it. "How was I supposed to know she couldn't speak?"
Lux opened his wings up and beat them causing the sand to pick up and fly around him. Parting his jaws, he emitted a sharp light that could easily blind anyone nearby hoping to make the owl drop it to get away from the bright light.
Meiko watched this act happen, and freaked out. She quickly teleported onto Lux's back, pushing him down as if pleasing him to go down. She watched as her helper was blinded though, and lept off of Lux's back, in hopes of catching her now falling helper.
The light shocked Pollo as he didn't expect it, instantly freaking out and loosing his air, he began to fall, his talons let loose, and soon the squirrel was set free, falling for himself as Pollo too fell, but Meiko grabbed her bird, thankfully pushing far enough off of Lux's back towards the water, and diving towards the water below her with the owl in her arms.
"Hey!" Calique shreiked as she got soaked in water. Her hair fell in front of her eyes as she stared Tyki down playfully. "Oh your going to get it now," she chuckled, splashing a bigger wave toward the male. It wasn't as big a wave as the butterfly had caused, but it was the best Calique could muster.
After the wave had passed, Calique jumped onto Tyki's back for a second, growling with a hint of amusement. "You can't out-wave me!" she said with a challenge in her voice, smiling through her words. The time wolf jumped off his back after that and went back under the waves for a moment to fix her hair. When she resurefaced, it was back out of her eyes.

"Oh, really?" Tyki taunted with an impish smile. He chuckled as he was splashed, amber orbs shut to keep out the salt water. When it stopped, he tossed his hair and opened his maw to let out a snicker, but closed it in surprise the moment Calique leapt onto his back. "Yeah, yeah. Don't bet on it, sweetheart," He taunted with a smooth, provocative sense of intimidation. With his eyes narrowed, the loner tensed in preparation as she dipped under the waves.
He wasn't there when she surfaced. Tyki swam beneath the female and latched onto her, then forced her down in a sharp motion. He retreated and left behind a path of bubbles as he failed to contain his amusement. That was too hard to resist. He held his breath until he reached shallow water, then surfaced and stood with a carefree expression. "Hah. Well, that was a nice way to spend some free time," He said to himself in a pant.
Tyki shook out his pelt and made a face at its appearance. Whatever. It didn't matter much, since his way-too-sophisticated image needed the improvement. He sauntered over to where his companion waited, motionless in the sand. At least he was, for little more than a second. "Where the hell am I, lero? This better not be another cruel joke, lero!" Lero screamed in a hiss.
"Shut up, idiot. My head hurts," The loner snarled without much care. It was true. All that exposure to the opposite element he'd recieved earlier was starting to have one hell of a side-effect. He cast a look towards the ocean where he'd last seen Calique, a keen smile on his maw. That femme knew how to draw out his White side, which was awesome, because he was sure he'd have killed her otherwise.
Lux felt the weight of another wolf press down on his back as he reared up. He immediatly fell onto all fours and turned his head to look at the wolf on his back. But, she wasn't there anylonger. Shaking his fur from a shiver, he lifted his head up to the sky to see where the owl and Blitz were.
Blitz didn't know what was worse: falling from high above or being carried off. He was free falling and the squirrel's body turned around in an attempt to wish his luck by landing on his paws.
Lux spotted the white furball falling from the sky, letting his heart leap into his throat. Bunching up his lean muscles, he pushed off the sand with some help from his wings to give him an extra boost. Angling his wings to get the maximum speed with the ocean breeze, Lux swooped over and grabbed Blitz in the air with his jaws. Letting his wings spread out to all himself to glide himself into a turn before he landed with a graceness once more on the shore. Licking Blitz over to calm the squirrel once more before tucking him in between his shoulder blades and wings to hide him.
He looked over at the psychic wolf towards the water. Lux dropped his head in guilt as he hadn't realized that the owl was her helper. He watched her to make sure she was alright in the water and would jump in at anytime to save her, despite what had happened.
She had never experienced water like this before. Ocea water. Coming up for a breath, she held her screeching owl in her maw, gasping for air until unexpectingly, another wave knocked her and pollo back underneath the water. When she returned to the surface again, the owl was still screeching, and she tried to swim to the sirface, but was knocked down once again by another wave.
Meiko resurfaced and couldn't take it any longer. She tried to teleport, but somhow, she couldn't. Using her energy so much on swimming, she was too weak to teleport to safety, so she did all she coujld do.
As another wave took her down, she lept up as soon as possible, arching her neck and throwing her helper as far as she could, the owl freaked, but somehow landed on shore, sort of. The next wave carried her under, and pushed the tired owl further onto shore, where he lay now, on the wet sand. Meiko didn't resurface during the next wave, nor the next. She seemed to be missing, but as she held her breath, she tried to concentrate, yet still unable too, she finally resurfaced, pretty much accepting defeat from the undertow.
"Ahh, mate, we be home," Captain said, his paws clenching the sand beneath him in excitement, as he bounded towards the ocean. Looking around, he noticed Als not too far off, talking to something..pink maybe?
He approached Als, "aye matey!" He smiled, "ey had a field trip, sorreh to abandun yah like that, the misses woulda thrown a fit had I not joined ye. I woulda left ye a note, I just didn no how!" He smiled, glancing at Farah and smilng, "allo missy!" He greeted her.
Watching as the psychic wolf bobbed up and down and seem to use the last effort to haul her helper to the shore, Lux looked with horror in his eyes and she didn't seem to resurface. With leaping strides, the light wolf rushed out to the ocean waves while Blitz leaped off and observed from the shore. Ignoring the coolness or the sea salt rushing in his nose from the large waves. "Hold on!" He yelled above the waves, going deeper until he was paddling. His wings created a heaviness that made Lux push harder to keep himself afloat.
Sucking in a deep breath, Lux plunged his head into the water and gripped into the fur that he had felt under him. Yanking her out of the water with a heave, he quickly twisted his neck around to get better leverage from the fur on her neck than the blind grabbing of her back. The waves battered against him, threatning to pull him under and suck him up. Paddling with all his might as he held the responsibility of getting the psychic wolf up to the shore to save her. Lux felt a new energy surge through him and he made it finally to the shore.
Dropping her on the wet sand, Lux gave off heavy pants and his legs wobbled from fatigue. Lowering his head, he clenched his teeth once more in her neck and as gentle as he could, Lux brought her up farther to have a safe distance away from the water.
"Ma'm, are you alright?"He asked between breaths, lowering himself to plop down to lay in front of her.
Farah
Farah flinched as a new wolf came up to them and she gave off a soft whine. Folding her ear back with her eyes growing wide to take in everything around her. She scooted back, unsure if she could out run both these males. She didn't want them to hurt her and add to the amount of scars she already held.
Meiko squirmed as something grabbed her, but was then brought to land. Finally getting a glimpse of the creature that had saved her, she smiled as she saw it was that light male. Hearing his question, she blantley nodded before standing, legs trembling as she approached her helper, bringing her further onto the shore, and laying down with her between her forearms. She pushed on hher stomach, until she coughed up some water and began to breathe. Meik's tail wagged when his eyes opened, glad he was alright.
He noticed the pink wolf seemed rather skiddish, and he lowered himself, litterrfally to the ground, rolling over into a submissive position with his belly side up.
"Its iight missy, I wun hurtchya. Als is ma friend n I'm just re-meetin up with him, I ain't got nun intentions, matey." He smiled at her, his tail wagging as he still lay on his back.
Lux watched as she nodded her head, still speaking nothing. He wondered if she was mute. Taking a few steps toward her, the light wolf dropped his head. "I do apologize, I didn't know that was your helper," He explained, his eyes brimmed with sadness. As already seen, Lux was protective of his helper for Blitz was more of his best friend, a brother, to him. His sodden wings spread out with a heaviness that would make him unable to fly until they were dry.
Farah
The unattractive female watched the new wolf go into the submissive pose, one that she had mastered back in her old pack. Still unconvinced by his words of no harm, Farah still felt uncertainty gnaw at her. She felt a stubborn kick to her stomach as the new life was beginning to swell inside her. Farah eyed the tan wolf cautiously as if he was mocking her before dropping her gaze back to her brown paws.
She looked up to lux, nodding again and turning back to her owl. He seemed fine now, just exhausted, so she stood and carefully approached lux, resisting at first, but finally leaning in and nuzzling him as a thankyou, she felt as though she needed to someway thank him, cause well, he did save her life and all.
Captain
He frowned, "somethin botherin ya, miss?" He asked, his tail lowered, "you seem uh bit trubled..." he sighed, "dun worry but me, I wuldnt hurt a fly." He said, giving her a small smile.
Lux didn't back away when Meiko nuzzled him as a thank you. He gave a slow dip of his head as an acceptance to it. "I hope your alright? I really didn't mean to act that way,"He apologized once more, still feeling bad. He could feel his body start to relax as the adrenaline was waning it's way out of his blood stream. "Your helper looks like he should be fine..."Lux commented slowly, motioning his head toward the owl.
Blitz reluctantly arrived besides Lux and sat underneath the shade of the light wolf's wet wing. It provided some shade and the small drips of water was enough to cool him off from this hot place.
Farah looked up meekly at the tan wolf again as he asked the same question that Als had earlier. Finding her quiet voice, she replied, "No...No, nothing's bothering me." She still didn't trust him too much no matter what he would say. Her green eyes just gazed upon him, watching him and trying to convince herself that he ment to harm.
Calique burst through the surface of the water, panting for air. She gasped as she finally caught her breath, and used her paw to smoothe back her hair so she could see. Tyki was closer to the shore now than he was to her, so she assumed he had been the one to push her down. It was a bit harsh of him, for she had only been playing where he seemed to have really meant to knock the breath out of her. Calique looked down the sides of her body to make sure he hadn't left any claw marks on her. Seeing none, Calique sighed in relief.
The she-wolf looked back to where Tyki was and weighed her options of going back over to him. It seemed as if he had wanted to hurt her before, and she didn't want that to happen again. But she did enjoy his company and he might not have meant to hurt her. Calique shook her head and began to make her way back to the shore where Tyki stood. "What was that?" she asked questioningly, hinting at laughter in her voice. Once the white female was mostly ouot of the ocean she shook her pelt to be rid of the excess water. She smiled at Tyki and laid down on the beach in the sun to dry off.

Captain nodded, and decided to avoid getting into her space anymore. He dug in the sand, revealing a shell which his eyes looked at for some time,
"So what brings ye tota beech, matey?" He asked the female, not making eye contact with her, but pawing at the shell as if he was keeping his eyes busy.
She nodded at his comment, then noticed the squirrel. Turning to glare at Pollo, she stared at the owl for some time before the helper stood, sighing, "alright, fine," Pollo mumbled.
"Sorry about making it seem like I wanted to kill you..." Pollo said, approaching the squirrel, "she just takes words personally.. and I didn't want her to be hurt any more than she has been," the helper sighed, feeling bad for scaring Lux's helper, while Meiko smiled happily that her helper was nice. She wagged her tail happily,
Happily... Meiko, happy? Awesome. This was all going...almost too well.
Farah's gaze turned to watch the shell that the wolf was pawing at shell. Her one ear flickered at his question and she would reply truthfully. "I came down here because I'm used to living on the beach and I watch the seagull flocks that settle down here."She said simply, giving nothing away that her helper didn't live upon the Earth any longer.
Lux
Lux turned to look at the Owl speaking to him, giving him a curt nod of his head. He lowered his head to ground level so he could see his helper. His black tipped tail flickered and batted at Blitz to make the squirrel accept the apology. The critter twitched his nose and quickly started to wash his hands by rubbing them across his face with a licking motion."It's alright. I'm just not one that up for surprises," He mused.
Lux tilted his head toward Pollo, then at Meiko as if speaking to her. A wondering, caring look crossed his face. "Hurt more than she already has been?" He repeated, mostly to himself. "If you don't mind me intruding, would you like to speak about it?" He said softly, letting his front paws crisscross over each other as he laid.
His tail wagged at her reply, "really now?" He smiled, glancing at her quickly before looking away again, afraid to scare her.
"See gulls ar uh beauty." He smiled to the ground, "ey, lived un an island myself, ma whol life." He said, digging for more shells. "Beeches r a beaut, aye? I luv em more den enything else." He said, truthfully.
Meiko
She looked at Lux, flicking her tail as he asked the personal question, she froze up. Turning to Pollos direction, she fluttered him with psychic questions such as 'what if he knows' and 'what if he kills me' with a frightened look on her face. She took a step bacl, forming into a popular pose she stood in when she was about to teleport,
Pollo screeched, running towards her, "meiko:! No! He's not like that." She said, grabbing Meikos leg, the owl hushed her voice to a whisper, "I know you don't remember much, but I do, and he wasn't there. I promise," he said, "their all gone, don't worry." Her voice expanded, turning to Lux,
"Meiko can show you, but only as much as she knows." He said, knowing it was good for Meiko to expand her friendship with someone else, and venting to them would be a good way for her to trust someone. Pollo nudged Meiko, who stood their blankley, unsure of if she should show him or not.
"Yes, I've always loved seagulls," Farah put in after his statement, quickly thinking back to Belle. She was a lovely character to be around both in personality and features. Looking up, she tilted her head before turning her gaze to the ground again. "Yes, beaches are quite lovely," She commented plainly, but such a nice location always brought bitter-sweet memories. Her gaze shifted to look at her swelling belly, and she let a sigh out.
Lux
Seeing the psychic wolf tense up, Lux pulled his ears behind him, guilty for asking the question. His gray eyes turn to look at the owl as it spoke. Lux said nothing and figured it must've been pretty bad.
The light wolf gave a slow shake of his head, "She doesn't have to show me, if she doesn't want to. I just figured that I could help some more, but I wouldn't want to put her in a difficult spot of speaking of it if it brings back bad memories." He assured softly, knowing that he wouldn't want to speak of his own past to any wolf.
He smiled as she spoke, looking up at her peacefully. She seemed bothered, and guilt was striking inside him. "Well, Farah," he said in a low voice, "it twas nice a meetin ye," he smiled softly, nodding his head. "Take curr, if ye want te talk te me 'gain, feel free ta appproach me if ye would ever like too. Hav uh gud day, missy." He nodded to her, "I should be headin odd. No need tah bother ye anymore den I has," he bowed to her softly, a smiled emitting from his maw again as he turned to padd away, heading for the water.
Meiko
Meikos maw opened a bit as she listened to him, and somehow, this made her trust him. She nodded, mostly to herself in assurance, and closed her eyes.
Trying as hard as she could, she telepathically sent images through luxs mind. It required a lot of skill and patience, but she delivered a short and quick memory, of.a view through her eyes, with her old voice, a sweet and tender sound, narrarating the story.
That's my alpha. The voice wspoke, as a large brute walked by. The image clicked to fangs, a male ljunging at meikos face, the voice spoke again, he wasn't a nice alpha.
Dead wolves were the next images that were flushed into Luxs brain as she spoke in the story. I ran, I ran aws my family was killed, that was my best friend, the pictures were set on a murdered wolf, who looked very pretty. That image was scared into Meikos mind, but then everything went blank as Meikos voice was only heard telepathically. I ran, and fell, and ended up in a forest. My body ached. Pollo says the alpha got me, and someone saved me, though I do not recall who..
The story ended, and Meiko opened her eyes, looking at the male. She wondered if he got the message, and tried to hold back the tears that had glossed over her eyes.
Farah grew more settle as Captain was heading off. She gave him a curt nod of her head as she grew more controlled over her nerves. The ugly wolf turned to look at Als, as she was left alone with him. Letting her eyes shift back and forth to avoid any contact, she took a gulp and tried to speak. "I, uh, I better be going back and start preparing... It was good, um, speaking to you." She stuttered, trying to find the right words that wouldn't set him off and lash out at her.
With that, Farah stood up and started to back away slowly before turning tail and running along the coast line. Her stomach weighed her down but she was determined to go back to the area that Enki was last at with her. Maybe he came back for her! Maybe, he was just lost! A small smile broke across her face, hoping to see his sage green fur. Skidding to a halt, her head lowered as she spotted that he still wasn't there. The scent had long since vanished and she let a soft whine once more. Spotting a low pine tree, Farah crouched down to go under it's low branches before laying down underneath it. She would stay here and wait, knowing that this was also the best place to birth a pup.
Lux
Images had swept through his mind as he wasn't prepared, one's that weren't his or had any association to. His gray eyes darted back and forth as if he was sleeping with his eyes open, not seeing anything except for the images in his mind. These memories were far from good and he could understand why she was so skittish. As the images came to a halt, Lux's eyelids clamped shut before reopening. Blinking his eyes, he looked off at Meiko. Giving her a reassuring smile, he approuched her slowly before wrapping his neck around her's and let his head rest on the female's shoulders in a way to comfort her.
"I am deeply sorry for your past, but I want to thank you for sharing it," He whispered in a calm voice, secretly promising himself that he would help her become strong and know that her past was the past, and nothing as such would happen again.
She shivered, wincing a bit at the male rested his head upon herf neck. Eyes staring widely at him, she listened to him speak, tghe bristled fur that sat on end slowly lowered to her skin, and she took a deep breath, nodding softly. Pollo watched silently before inturrupting, "I still don't know why she doesn't speak. I lost her for about a month, and I missed the fight she shared with the alpha. We look to find the wolf who saved her, Meiko believes its the only one she was meant to love, and hasn't rested since." She sighed.
Lux backed up slowly and looked to the owl that was speaking to him. "She is the only one that can say why she won't speak. I believe it's best to not push her to use her voice until she's ready," He said in a wise-like tone that came from years of experience. "I wish you luck on your quest to find that wolf, I would love to help but I have little clue on who or what I'm looking for," Lux explained, feeling the warm sunny breeze warm up his golden fur and give off a shimmering glow. Licking his lips as if he had just eaten, the light wolf sat back down and looked back and forth between the psychic wolf and the owl.
POllo. Nodded, before standing and walking off. She whispered to the male, "shell never find him, sir." The owl nodded solemly, "be her friend, she needs one," and with that, she began to fly away, giving meiko sometime to meet another without her prescense.
Meiko watched her fly away, unable to catch what she said. She turned her head slightly to the side, her tail tucked tight between her legs, looking completly submissive now that POLLO WAS GONE.
OOC… MY PHONES CAPS LOCKS WON'T SHUT OFF LOL AHH SORRY. XD
Lux's ears flickered gently to the owl's suggestion. Well, of course he would be her friend. He wanted to be just about everyone's friend. Watching as the owl flew away and the wolf turned into a submissive stance. Lux gave a curved smile to try and comfort her, "It's alright, I'm not like those wolves that you experience." Giving his body a gentle shake and letting his wings fall across his back as he looked at the female. "What brings you here to the beach?" He asked in a curious tone, kneading into the sand.
She watched him curiously, peering over to see what he was doing in the sand before hearing his question and jumping a tad. She shrugged. Really, shde had no idea what she was doing on the beach. Pondering this now, she wondered herself how she managed to be here.
The wind was beginning to pick up, which made Captain smile,
"Aye, high tides ah surely comin soon," he said to Hook, smiling as he looked out at sea,
"Comin soon, coomin soon! Squaaaack!" The bird repeated.
Captain laughed, diving into the water as the macaw flew to the skies. As Captain arose back to the surface, he was gliding on a wave, soon having Hook land on his back, opening hiswings as he enjoyed the mist of the waves bathe him and wash off the oils along his feathers. Captain smiled at his surfing partner, andlaughed as the waved began to curl over, Captain expanded it, so he was able to ride through the tunnel of the wave, his paw touching the ocean as he glided along the surface of water.
Lux's ears were pointed forward, letting the calm ocean waves soothe him. The sun over head was slowly moving across the horizon and beginning to dip down indicating it would almost be sunset. Acting as if she asked him the same question, Lux gave off a stretch before settling down once more. "I don't really know myself, I just kind of decided to explore here since I've been in the forest for so long." He mused, turning his gaze to look at her.
She nodded at him in understanding. Personally, she enjoyed fiinding the shells. Digging in the sand, she picked on up, and showed it to him, a smile on her face, wondering if he'd understand, or just nod or think she's dumb. Catching his gaze, she blushed and looked away shyly, glancing out at the ocean, and taking a moment to gaze at the beauty as the wind rushed through her pelt.
