A Basic Guide on the Inferno Pack:

Basic History:

Founded in Yr 4, Inferno started when Xavier Valkryie III and Medusa yearned to create the perfect pack that would be strong and under their control. An agreement was formed that Xavier would be the alpha and Medusa would be his beta. From the get-go, they have been a strong alliance and been effective in weeding out the weak to preserve their hold on the pack.

Inferno's Personality:

Inferno is a strict pack, run like a dictatorship. The alpha has full control and he makes himself clear that upon entry into the pack, there is no going back. You are Inferno's property. The tricky part is getting into such a 'prestigious' pack. You have to exert strength and prove yourself, which the alpha or beta force fights to occur to see if you have what they're looking for. Only the strongest and the coldest of wolves gain admittance, while the others are chased away or killed.

Be forwarned, this pack is very sexist. It is believed that females cannot be nothing more than hunters and breeders. Only males should hold the high positions. The only exception is Medusa taking Betaship under their agreement upon creation of the pack. It is a very rare occurance if you show your strengths and a female ends up becoming a warrior, at that.

Basic Setting:

A run-down barn welcomes wolves at first, surrounded by a field where crops and livestock used to roam. A swamp resides next to it, where the only way to get to the center of the pack is through it or over a wooden bridge. In the center of the territory, there are a few weathered, burnt and stripped down houses that are ruins by what was left by humans. The alphas and higher ranks tend to prefer residing in the only two-story building. The rest of the wolves take their dens into the smaller abandoned houses.

Major Landmarks:

Alpha's Den: The only two-story, rundown building where all alphas and betas will reside. The alpha gets the top story while his trusty beta gets the mainfloor.

The Well: An old well that is covered in metal seals to conceal the demonic side of Akri, acting as a cage at night. It's in the middle of the packlands.

The Barn: The location where Inferno stores all it's food, especially important in the winter.

Prey:
All the prey is found in the field nearby the barn and forest leaving Inferno. If prey is desperate enough, it will venture close enough to the swamp for a possible drink. Nothing ever passes across the bridge. Prey is usually small, a mouse or two. Inferno does specialize in the occasional moose and variety of swamp-dwelling animals such as heurons, snakes, and turtles.
