New Wolf Era

Dante

Dante's head snapped into the direction of Blaire, leaping over him to grab the mouse. It was a success and Dante couldn't help but feel happy for his sister. He gave her a small grin but it quickly faded to not appear weak. You weren't supposed to look weak, thats what mother seemed to teach them. Besides, Blaire would take that sign of weakness and rip it apart any chance she'd get.

"WOAH!" Dante flinched, taken aback by the sudden jolt of electricity. He slowly approuched her, "You got electricity?" He asked before noticing the mouse unmoving...with burnt fur from the strike. His eyes widened up and he gingerly approuched the mouse. Extending a paw out, he prodded at the small mouse that caused all this commotion earler. 

"I think it's dead..." He mumbled out, "Do you still have your element? Try again." Dante barked to her, though, a part of him was a little happy if she didn't have an element. That would mean that he'd always be able to one-up his sister.

Blaire

She stood there dumbfounded for quite some time as her brother spoke her exact thoughts. This couldn't be true - could it? She shook her head, looking back up to the skies. The power she felt, it was extraordinaty, but it was gone so quickly. She didn't want to admit to her brother that this helper was indeed, dead.

"That wasn't me." She lied, glaring at her brother. "Someones playing a trick on us. This isn't my stupid helper, no way." She said, trying to get him to believe her words, even if she barely believed them herself.

"C'mon. Let's go find something else." She said, tossing the mouse behind her shouldar as she bumped into her brother as though he was in her way of walking. "I'm glad that wasn't my helper. It was weak and stupid." She grumbled, feeling the fur still standing on the back of her neck from the shock. Her eyes nonchalantly looked to the skies, wondering if maybe there was a storm coming, or some sort of an excuse.

Kodi


He opened his eyes after sleeping for so long. He looked around and noticed that He was still in Naomi's cave. Hmmm He wondered why nobody had tried to wake him up. He then rolled up and noticed Yami was still right beside him. He didn't see Dezera so he assumed that She was okay. He got up and pressed his cold nose to Yami's cheek. "Mornin' my sweet." He said softly to her. He knew it wasn't morning but they had been napping for so long that it might of been kind of funny to her.

Dante

Dante lifted an eyebrow upward at his sister. She was so full of it. "How did you end up with an element if it wasn't your's?" Dante sneered, giving her a crooked smile. He turned, watching the still mouse as she walked off. He felt a pang of empathy toward the mouse for some reason, but that soon changed. It was just prey, right?

"If it was your helper, that means your stupid and weak." Dante called out to her, turning his head in her direction. His ears twitched at a sound behind him and Dante turned back to give a last glance at the mouse. However, it seemed the mouse had vanished and what was left was a rustle of bushes. Dante tilted his head in confusion before turning and trotted up besides his sister.

Akemi

The male would have smiled a sly smile once he discovered he finally got under Dezera's skin, but his unreadable face kept quiet and still, focused entirely on her body actions over her words. He learned to ignore them, for the most part, although when he did listen, he almost always discovered the meaning behind them, as she did to him. They had a strange relationship, but it was one Akemi could actually tolerate, especially since she was a female. She seemed to be opening up to the brawl more and more with each words he spat towards her, and finally, he saw the break. The flying Dezera was never a fail, those snarling teeth and the way her eyes shined with pure hatred. It was something he missed, something he yearned for and something he wished to take control of. With his usual movements, he side stepped from her pounce, but allowed her to hit him, just to make her feel good about herself. The impact was something he was used too, her body weight and her intentions: all the same. It seemed she constantly wanted to kill him, which constantly turned him on. Perhaps this fight would be a bit more of a battle of desire, which he was completly fine with fufilling his needs over hers.

Reaching a paw around, Akemi quickly whacked his nails along her side, going for a deeper cut as she pressed into him from the tackle. He wanted to feel the muscle in his nails, and feel the blood trickle from her side. The success of it though, was unknown as Dezera was always up to no good, which he also liked the challenge of that.

Kali

It seemed as though Hibari had finally had enough, and Kali had also fallen into a deep slumber. Opening her eyes, she noticed the male was still resting, and after a moment of smiling down at him, she nodded a silent goodbye and walked towards the entrance of the cave. Looking around, Kali let out a loose yawn and reached a paw up to scratch at her eyes. The time had flown, even for a time wolf. 

Looking around, Kali wondered what everyone was up too. It seemed her dearest friends were slowly fading away. Kestral hadn't been seen in days, Hidan and Karasu were always busy and Hibari just wasn't the same anymore, seemingly becoming bored of her. Part of her missed those two wolves she had known when she was younger, Kenna and Jayce. She wished they hadn't left, especially Jayce since the pair had been pretty decent friends. She frowned a bit, and looked around. Off in the distance she wasn't surprised to see Akemi and Dezera going at it, and their pups playing out near the packs edge. She saw her mother not too far off leaving the Beta's den, and wondered what she was up too. Part of her wanted to approach, but she decided on finding some food instead. She couldn't remember the last time the pack had a hunt, and was hoping that maybe she just missed out and there was some extras lying around.

Nose to the ground, Kali sniffed, feeling the pit of her stomach grumble with the sounds of starvation. She wasn't quite there yet, but hopefully that would change as she didn't want to reach that point either.

Lupita

Since her mate was silent, Lupita just let out a sigh. "Very well. Karasu, I believe you will be a strong and diligent wolf to take on this challenge. You will lead two others, I am going to go and speak with them now. I have a good hunter and warrior in mind, whom I think need this break to prove themselves stronger. You go take a rest and conserve your energy, I don't want you to die from starvation before you get a chance to hunt.." She leaned forward to nudge into her, before turning and dashing off light lightning, not saying another word to  her mate or son. The decision was made, had they cared or not.

Karasu

The female grinned as her mother spoke, the feeling of confidence rushing through her system. She couldn't help but give that bragging smile to her brother, and then a wink to her father. She knew he'd be worried, but at this point, she didn't care. This was her chance to prove she'd make a better Alpha than her brothers, to prove that females can be superior to males, especially sonic females. Holding her head up high, she smiled to the males and fixated herself with a sonic practice, causing herself to move at the speed of sound and disappear into the horizon. She'd find a nice spot, and think for awhile while doing as her mother told her to do. Hopefully she would get good partners to assist her, and hopefully she wouldn't be killed.

Dante

Feeling a pride swell in him as he caught his sister's tongue. Perfect. Dante matched her challenging gaze, positioning her body more similar to her own. His lips peeled back to show off his fangs before taking note that she was no longer a threat, but it trouble.

It looked similiar to what Kori experienced periodically. He stood silent again, unmoving. His eyes darted around, there was no one to help her but him. Dante froze up again and watched as his sister called out to him.

Noticing the snake appear, which caused more pain to his sister, Dante snapped out of it. He had to protect his sister. Dante lundged at the snake, heavily landing on it. Dante took hold of it with his mouth and shook it violently before heaving it away, while he danced out of the way of Blaire's spewing of acid.

He looked proudly over at the dead snake, watching it's crimson blood pool around it's limp body. His tail raised up to confirm the kill before he went close to Blaire and gave her a comforting lick on her forehead.

"Blaire, Blaire?"

Blaire

Her eyes were snapped open as though she was unable to blink, staring up at her brother as acid continued to shoot from her mouth and corrode the grass beneath her. Once the snake was killed, she instantly shook and squeezed her eyes shut, breathing rapidly until finally she calmed herself and was able to control herself again. The acid she had produced was extremely tiring, and she was thankful that that element wasn't hers.

"I didn't like that element. Good thing you killed it." She said, looking over at Dante. "Electricity and Acid, they are now my least favorites." 

Well, atleast Dante would believe her more about picking out her element now. She couldn't help but give him an 'I told you so' glare while she made her way over to him, reaching out to hug him silently. Words weren't needed to express the thanks she had for her brother helping her out, but she would never say those words that would sting her tongue. 

"I'm kinda tired now. Let's find YOUR helper..." She said, wanting to see Dante in pain, rather than herself. It was taking quite the beatnig out of her, and she was almost ready for a nap.

Kenpachi

Standing quite stiffly as Lupita voiced her decision, Kenpachi just heaved a great sigh, knowing that she usually got her way anyway. Hidan just began to whine. "Heyy! Wait a ****ing minute! Why the Hell didn't I get picked?! It's not like Karasu is THAT special!" Once he noticed his father's silence, Hidan grew strangely quiet. "...right...? Dad?" To his surprise, the armor wolf just shook his head and meandered off somewhere.

Now Hidan was sitting, quite alone. He looked to his left and right, but his mother and sister were nowhere else to be seen. Frowning, his absorbed some of his passing father's element and began to ram himself at the trees, over and over and over again, as if that would make him stronger, and worthy, in his mother's eyes.

Kenpachi + Yachiru

The large armor wolf settled by his daughter who was staring intently at the pool of water beneath her. He looked over her and gave a deep, long sigh before mirroring her position.

"It's been a long time, huh, Kenny?" Yachiru weakly murmured, feeling very hungry. She lapped hungrily at the water as if that could fill her. The badge hung loosely off her thin shoulder.

Kenpachi gave another sigh and began to drink too. He remembered the first time they had come to Ronoh-just them, with no others to tell them what to do, no responsibilities, no worries, no nothing. "It's been what, five years?"

The pink wolf giggled sadly, the white marks around her eyes and muzzle just making her look that much older. "I was a lot smaller then, huh, Kenny? And I used to ride around on your shoulder all day long! And you'd go fight, and you'd look so happy!"

Then later, "Kenny?"

"Hmm?"

"Do you love Karasu more than me?" The armor wolf frowned as he looked at her. He frowned slightly, feeling imensly horrible for leaving her alone for so long when before they were so inseppearable.

"No."

"Oh. Well, one day, can it be like it ws before? With me on your shoulder?"

Kenpachi gave a small smile, and pulled his eldest daughter under one of his paws, amazed that she could still just fit. He licked affectionatly at her hair. "Okay, Yachiru."

Kali

The sudden collapse from Nora threw Kali off guard and she immediatly looked up and slowed down time, allowing Fern to fall in slow motion and have Kali step out of the way... Although Fern landed on the ground still, atleast it wasn't on top of her.

"Oh my, you scared me!" Kali said, eyes wide as she stared at the strange looking wolf. 

"What'd you just say....?" She asked, reffering to the native language the wolf seemed to be using. "It's okay, my name is Kali. what's yours?" Hopefully this wolf was nice, she seemed nice atleast!

Kori

She smiled up at her mother and said "Do you think we could do something while dad is sleeping? I feel as if I've been in this cave for ages momma." She stood and let her tail wag happily as she could hear her mothers thoughts clear as day, they were always so happy and serene it made Kori happy just by being around her. She was starting to grow bigger now and was up to her mothers shoulder and could comfortably keep pace with her if they were to go on a walk.

Akemi

Although he had prevailed in his attack Dezera was quick to get him on the back of the neck, sending the two of them into a roll of biting. Akemi felt himself drag against the terrain but wasn't about to be on the bottom as he continue to press against Dezera, only to try to return to his previous position. 

On the positive side, he had successfully gotten her and began the battle - and anything Akemi was to start, or not start - he would finish. Letting out a loud snarl, Akemi still struggled to stand but made way to blow in Dezera's ear, as not only a distraction but other intentions aswell. Along with the blow, there was a bite - but it was depended upon Dezera's capeability to hold Akemi down if his bite to her ear would work or not.

Kodi

He nodded. He too was very proud of young Kali. He then nodded. "Alrighty..." He said with a smile as he started to lead his friend to go find one of the alphas. After a few minuets of walking around Ronoh lands he saw the brightly colored Lupita. "Lupita!" He called out as he approached her. "Excuse me, Alpha, but may I have a word with you?" He asked politely as he sat down in front of her. "Yami and I were thinking about going on a hunt...but the prey around here is looking really scarce...So perhaps we could have your permission to hunt some place else?" He asked. "Unless you have other plans." He added politely.

Kodi

His full attention went to the alphess as she told him his challenge. He was very interested in what she was saying. But when she told him that he would be trespassing onto Sera's lands he got a little nervous and his stomach started to turn in knots. But of coarse he wouldn't let her know that he was nervous or scared. "Yeah, I accept..." he said as he turned to Yami. Knowing he would be risking his life. He then looked back at Lupita. "When will this be happening?" He asked her. He kind of wanted to spend some time with Yami before jumping into this.

Lupita

She turned to see Kodi approaching, and watched him and Yami in the distance. "A hunt, you say?" Just those words made her stomach rumble, the thought of food entering her body was more than she could ask for right now. Thinking for awhile, Lupita looked over her two hunters, and decided mentally whom she would pick, and that it should happen now.

"Kodi, I have a proposition for you." She said, making it sound like it was a choice at first, but knowing deep in her mind she wouldn't allow the wolf to say otherwise. 

"There is a famine, if you haven't already realized, and the pack is cleared of food. Do you know of Sera's locations? They have this wonderful meadow, full of livestock and healthier meals. I am going to send you with a warrior, and my daughter, to hunt." She stood tall, looking as though her plan was a wonderful idea.

"You will do nothing but hunt. The warrior will assist you, but is mainly there for backup. My daughter will be the spy; she will be leading with orders and warning of any unneeded visitors. You will collect as much food as you can bring back, and you will not leave a trace of evidance. We will only do this once, to survive." She said, for now. If it was successful... maybe she would change her mind....

"Do you accept my challenge?" She asked, eyeing Yami for a moment before turning back to Kodi. She hoped this hunter was her best choice, and wouldn't let her down.

Braxton

The young Brute stepped onto Ronoh lands, he liked to be around lots of wolves and the loner lands seemed kind of dead and boring. He looked down at Daxter, "What do you think Dax? Do you think we could make a home here?" He asked the tiny cat with a smirk. "Purrrrr-Possibly...It seems nice enough." The cat purred as he nuzzled into Braxton's leg. He smiled at his helper. "Alright, why not? We better see who's in charge and see if we can stay here..." He told his helper. That's how things were in his previous pack. If someone wanted to be a part of the pack they had to speak to the alpha's and prove that they could be a good attribute to the pack. So that's exactly what he was going to do. He let out a bellowing howl and stood proudly and waited for a response.

Lupita

The female nodded as Kodi accepted, relieved that she didn't have to force the male into any uncertain situation. "The task will begin when I set a warrior whom will be guided. I do not want my head warrior to go, as we need him for back up incase something goes wrong and we need to step in." She said, assuring Kodi that Akemi would not be assisting, as she knew the duo butted heads. "I have a few wolves in mind. I will call for you when the task is ready. I suggest getting some rest and saying goodbye to your family and friends for now-" She couldn't remember if the male had family, friends, whatever. She was so busy, she barely knew Kodi, nor Yami for that factor... were they cousins? Or something? 

Shrugging it off, she turned her head towards Yami, then back to Kodi. "And this will stay a secret.. I do not want the pack to get any ideas of going to Sera on their own..." She glared at Yami in a way, knowing the female would be too scared to do anything from her past punishments with the Alphas.

 

Karasu

The female became slightly uncomfortable at the touchy-hands on female and stood tall as she was tackled into a hug, focused on her dominance but still not acting annoyed. "Hey there, Ferrrrrnnnn..." She tried to say her name in a cool, different way too. "Kaaaaliiiiii" She drew their names out, smiling at them.

"What are you guys up too?" She asked, trying to play cool for the most part, her eyes studying the flowers growing out of Fern's fur.

Lupita

The female nodded, and turned her head. As her business was finished with the male, she had heard a call while in mid-conversation with Kodi, and was going to see to it once their business was finished. "If you'll excuse me," She said, pardoning herself from the pair as she set off to find the caller.

Noticing a male who looked vaguely familiar, Lupita approached cautiously as he was obviously of the fire element, and shouldn't be combined with an element of electricity.. things could get heated easily if the pair weren't careful, as their elements could easily combine and cause an explotion unintentionally.

"Greetings." She said, standing tall despite her growing age. She was feeling weak in the knees from standing for so long, but didn't show her weakened strength in the slightest: For an older wolf, Lupita was in rather good shape, and it barely showed that she was hitting five this year: her mid-life number. She shook her head a bit and stared the male down.

I am the Alpha of Ronoh. "Name, intentions, excuses, reasonings...?" She asked, cutting to the chase and figuring the male would have a story behind his presence. He needed a pretty damn good reason to join the pack right now with a famine going on, and Lupita wasn't in any shape to accept just anyone, for obvious reasons.

Braxton


He was relieved when his call was answered so quickly. "Oh. Hey..." He said as he was slightly startled by the female. "Sup, I'm Braxton." He said with a smile. "Uhhh..I'm looking to join this pack, I'm sure I could be useful to you." He said with a bow of his big head. "I can hunt pretty well and I have trained for half my life to become a skilled warrior...I am willing to do any test or challenge you throw at me." He added as politely as possible. Dax hid behind Braxton's leg and purred loudly. "I'm just looking for somewhere where I can use my talents and be helpful." He added. He hated being on his own, no one to converse with...or anything like that.

Braxton


He just continue to smile...Well if there was no food in this area there probably wasn't more in other areas. He also had this idea in his head that he was sort of invincible so things like that didn't scare him. But a war sparked his curiosity. "I think I'll be fine..." He said with a shrug. "A war? Hmmm...Sounds fun." He said with a ****y smile. He loved to fight and he had never been in a war before so he was kind of interested. Death didn't scare him, since during training he came face to face with death a few times before.

Kenpachi

Blinking awake from his long-overdue afternoon nap at the sound of a howl, Kenpachi rose to his full height and stretched, feeling a few pops in his back. He cracked his neck a few times before heading off towards the sound of Lupita's call, but this time Yachiru was at his heels, seeming a little peppier now that she was with her adopted father.

However the moment his one eye caught sight of the wolf standing beside his mate, a violent snarl tore through his throat and the alpha went from zero to sixty. "I told you to stay the hell off my lands!" The armor wolf lunged at the other brute, but a sense of unfamiliarity caused him to snap his jaws shut just shy of the other's throat. Something was off. Still growling, he backed away, head turned so that his one good eye could fully scan the other male.

"Nah, you're not him." The eyes were different, the scent was a little different, the height was off, and there was more black than he remembered. "Thought you were a no-good pedophilic traitor."

Braxton


"Alright..." He said as he sat down and waited patiently for the other alpha to show up. When he did show up and he yelled at him he was a little confused. "Huh? This is my first time on these lands." He told the alpha. Then he was explained that apparently he looked just like another wolf that these wolves didn't like. "Oh, Well I can assure you I'm not..." He said with kind of a chuckle. "Well, Hello..I am Braxton. Nice to meet you." He added.

Kenpachi

Thoughtfully humming, the alpha seemed to scrape beneath him. This one seemed to have guts-and was obviously fresh to the fight. "I hope you're not all bark." The alpha growled darkly before flicking a pawful of dust into Braxton's eyes and lunging at the male, aiming for the base of the throat, teeth bared. A cheap trick? Maybe. But if he was to stay, he would have to tough it up.
