New Wolf Era

Mercutio

Mercutio had stood still allowing for the female to slap her tail across his face. He felt the thump but it held no sting, just caused his fur to stand up on edge. It took him control not to have some sort of smirk peek through his stern demeanor. As she darted from the den, Mercutio slowly followed his way out to stand in the den's entrance as he watched her flee as swift as a rabbit. Turning his head to the east, Mercutio sniffed the air and inspected to see if any wolves had noticed that Karasu was on packlands or the fact that their alpha just let her flee without chase.

If the alpha wasn't so distracted, Mercutio should have noticed that she was headed to the opposite end of territory, taking her into Pheonix Forest. If that was the case, Mercutio would've transformed into a bird formation to stalk her from the sky. 

Hidan

The large brown wolf could barely keep his excitement as he weaseled his way up besides his mother. His jaws were salivating with the need to taste blood. Why were they waiting? This wolf would be so easy to take down. He grunted at his mother's wishes, she was being too safe. He turned to look behind him, all these wolves look terrified or had the confused look if Lupita was going to go through with this. 

"Mom, I can take her. Let me take her." Hidan blustered out at Lupita, his voice in an angry, hushed tone. His father glared at him with a silent snarl but Hidan didn't care. His tail slashed around behind him, swatting his magpie out the way.

Without hearing his mother protest, Hidan took Kenpachi's armor element to help out and he dashed out of their concealed area and raced toward Amari. His footfalls were hard and as he ran, a thick metal covered his head with spikes running from the nose to between his ears. He'd stab that stupid wolf with a simple headbutt, it was just a big female.

"Ronoh!" He called his pack's battle cry as he closed in on her.

Amari

She turned at the sound of another wolf, her multicolored eyed darted onto the brown male charging at her. Her body seemed to twitch before plating itself in a complete armour set, despite her underbelly. Her tail swished back and fourth and she awaited impact, ready to laugh at this foolish wolf who came charging at her. Her nails dug into the ground, and she held her stance, her armour creating a build like a statue, embracing for impact and doing nothing more than a growl. She was taught to preserve energy, and had no reason to attack this olf until he made the first move.

Eziek & Erie O'Glan

Eziek smiled at Mizuki, she seemed tired enough and probably wanted to rush to the den for her mid-day nap. He couldn't blame her, it would be nice to catch a few Zzz's. He sniffed and lead the way, his growing son running between his paws before going to his sister and snatching her pink tail in his mouth. Erie seemed to want to follow Eva with her tail being the guide. 

Before long, Eziek was near Leonardo again. He was sitting by himself and Eziek dipped his head to the alpha. "How is that leg?" He asked, starting the conversation, "If you'd like to lead us to the elders den, that's be nice. I know my mother is getting tired and I'm sure the pups are losing energy."

Eziek O'Glan

Eziek remained quiet as Leonardo led the way, his eyes looking around at his surroundings but constantly glancing to Leonardo's leg to make sure it was healing correctly. There was no scent of infection and there was no grinding or scratching sound of his bones rubbing against each other. Good signs. 

Coming upon the den, Eziek smiled as he noticed the wolves in a comforting sleep. It was nice to see a family, like his own, so close to each other. He had to say, Masika and his decision to raise the family here was a fantastic idea. 

Taking the cue from the alpha, Eziek turned from Kianna to each family member when indicated. "This is my mother, Mizuki. The small ones are my pups, Erie and Eva." He wagged his tail, noticing how friendly Kianna appeared to be. 

Erie O'Glan

Erie was silent, hiding behind Mizuki as they walked forward. He was still unsure of these strange wolves, they were so big to him. He just saw them in the distance and they seemed smaller. At least his dad was larger in size than many of them, that eases some of his anxiety. Seeing the new sleeping wolves, Erie peeked his head forward and inched on his stomach forward for a closer look. He let out a soft whine, looking to Eziek for reassurance. 

Noticing the red wolf on her back, Erie took the cue as playing and suddenly pounced over to her in a playful gait. He romped around her, placing his front paws on her to bounce on her before scrambling back as he suddenly got unsure of the situation again. Erie ran in between Eziek's legs and pressed himself low against the ground, looking back up at Eziek for guidance.

Leonardo, Kianna, Mizuki, and Eva O'Glan

Leonardo smiled at the group and nodded. "Now I must be off, to check on my brother. He was up to a challenge and I need to see if he listened. Eziek, once my parents awaken if you could check them out, for now.. just, make yourself at home." He offered a smile, "I will return shortly."

Kianna nodded her brother as he left the den and made his way back towards the hostages.

She then flopped around as an adorable little pup pounced on her, her eyes lighting up as she playfully nipped at him. As he darted away, her body flipped to her belly and she reached both paws out towards him in a stretch, her head tilting slightly as if yearning to play with him again. Her rump raised and she let out a breathless noise, her nostrils flaring for a moment from the excitement.

Mizuki nodded as she was introduced and admired the sleeping Alphas for a moment. She looked down at Eva who was being much more shy than her brother. Eva quietly sat next to Mizuki, growing too tall to quite fit underneath her. Her fur was a mess, adult fur starting to patch in as her puppy fluff was beginning to shed away, especially with summer right around the corner. her eyes lit up as Kianna seemed so friendly and she shuffled away from Mizuki  a bit, peering over to watch her brothers next move. 

Hidan

The brown wolf coated with a thin, patchy armor around him didn't expect for Amari to shift and grow more spikes around her body. He was never good at recalculating moves, never being fully trained in combat.

The sharp point of the spike went straight through the wolf's neck when his head shifted up to strike Amari's lower jaw. His eyes widened, glossed over and full of fear. Blood gurgled up his throat, seeping out his mouth in sputters. Once the life faded from his eyes, his body gave a final shudder and he collapsed awkwardly draped in front of Amari as the bloodied spike was lodged in his throat. 

Amari

Amari embraced for impact, her body pulling itself tight as her muscled flexed and she closed her eyes, protecting them when the male leapt towards her. Her robotic eye was the first to open, the heat slowly draining from the lifeless body that hung from her neck. She shook rapidly, until Hidan lifelessly fell to the ground.

she was in utter shock from the whole ordeal, and immediately flashbacks of her father's passing drew into her mind. Her body shook, the adrenaline pumping blood quickly through her body and mind, giving her an overflow of energy. her eyes darted towards Kuro, her fur standing on end and more spikes emitting from her as he spoke, on guard from the previous attack.

"Just defending myself.. sir." She said, in a shake. The whole thing happened so fast, she had never killed a wolf before. 

On edge, Amari's coat of armour seemed to thicken instead of let down. Her mind was racing and she didn't know what to do

 Weakly, her knees gave and she sat down, tears sparkling over her eyes but not daring to fall. She felt guilty, proud, upset, confused, all of these things rushed through her body and she didn't know how to react.

"He.. he just came charging at me Kuro. I don't know why. Something about being for Ronoh..."

Eziek and Erie O'Glan

Eziek understood Leonardo's hastiness and allowed the wolf to get back to ruling the pack. Eziek lifted the paw up to expose his son as the wolf was hiding behind his leg in an act of shyness. Erie scrambled for the other leg but his father pushed him out. 

"No need to be shy, she wants to play." Eziek comforted him, giving him a gentle nudge toward Kianna. 

Erie scrambled forward and stopped, looking at his dad again before taking Kianna's invitation. A smile formed on his face as he bounced over to her, his tail tucking slightly underneath as he raced around her.

Eziek looked over to Mizuki, noticing Eva hiding behind her grandmother. She seemed to be more shy than Erie was, but looked mighty content watching until she felt the courage to go play. 

"Mizzy, you can take a quick nap. It looks like the other two will be out for longer." he urged, noticing the heaviness on her eyes. she had an eventful day with his pups, but Eziek knew she was happy with it. 

Kurosutora

The head warrior gave little notion to be disturbed that Amari would turn on him as her spikes increased. She seemed still in the moment and the air clung of death now around here. Her explanation was something that he expected to hear. It was a foreign wolf on our territory and it was killed swiftly. Amari had did decent with the kill, but she wasn't able to show off her potential with this ill-trained wolf. 

What he didn't expect from his warrior was her to buckle and get overwhelmed. He needed her to snap it back together, Kuro didn't want her to get soft heart or a change of heart for that matter so close to war. The crimson wolf looked around him before he approached Amari. There was a teary gloss over her eyes, was she regretting killing the wolf? Kuro found him so naturally wanting to kill all things that pissed him off, his empathetic feeling was dead long ago. 

Kuro hesitated to comfort her, but he stood near her and lightly patted her with an extended wing. It was uncomfortable to him, any showing of affection was. "You did just well. You protected Sera, you're the first line of defense this pack has. Death will happen and the gods chose you to hand this wolf over, it was his fault for charging with inexperience. Suicidal of him." Kuro explained, softly with a grumble in his voice. His wings were already back at his side as if the patting never happened.

"From Ronoh again. Go, Amari, I need you to bring this wolf to Alpha Leonardo. Show him. Give yourself time to walk yourself off and I'll resume patrol."

Amari & Leonardo

Her breath became evident and normal again as she was touched by Kuro, instantly remembering to breathe as her body was still but she listened to Kuro intently. "Yes. Yes your right." She said, taking a deep, shuttered breath as she reached down to grab the neck of the fallen Ronoh wolf

 He was heavy, his body. And it made Amari's neck hang low as she lifted it, grossed out by the blood that was thick around the males neck. He was young, probably around Amari's age. She sighee, and made her way towards the Alphas den, where she had spotted Leonardo last.

On her way she crossed paths with him, he seemed to be in a rush but at the sight of her he immediately stopped. "What us the meaning of this?" Leonardo seemed slightly shaken by the sight, wonderi n g why Amari was dragging a dead wolf around Sera. "The blood is leaving a mark in the territory everywhere you step, please stop here." He reached his paw out, signaling Amari to stop moving. She halted and was more than willing to drop Hidans body to her feet.

quietly, Amari began to explain the happenings of what she recently went through, including Kuros kind words and that he is currently taking watch.

Leonardo listened and nodded to her. "Amari, I need you to take this body and hide it, for now. After, please meet me by the hostages to guard. I need you to watch until my brother and I say to move, you don't move. Undeestand?" 

Amari nodded in response and Leonardo dashed off towards his brother. He noticed Tyson pass him and would have said something but he seemed so set in his ways, he didn't bother. Leonardo approached the cave and entered, his voice shaking as he nervously called for Leonardo.

Amari sighed as she reached down to one again pick up the carcass, and carried it off towards the Alphas den. The amount of wolves there, oddly enough, made her feel like it would be hidden and protected until needing further care. She dug a quick hole and placed HiDan in it, he barely fit but she kicked dirt over him, her goal to hide the smell of death behind a bush with the dirt. She sighed and made her way towards the hostages den.

Lupita

the female watched, horror hidden behind her straight face, as her son was murdered with not much more than a turn of this wolves neck. In the pit if her stomach, she wanted to cry for her son, her baby boy. But she knew he was atupid, untrained, and she held back her emotion. Lupita turned to Kenpachi, the pain in her eyes as she nodded to him. "It's time." She said, flicking her tail. 

"ATTACK." She screamed, not caring about surprising anyone any longer. She would let the wolves fight to attack Kuro, and once he was busy, she'd run past and find the alphas; that was her goal, not some dumb lookout.

Kali, Hibari, Amari and Yami

Yami reached out to tap her daughter wit her tail as she ran by. "Follow me. I can smell Kodi." She said, leading the way towards the hostage den. Yami was sure she'd known where it was, his scent was so missed she wanted to see him so badly. Her nose was to the ground, Kali and Hibari following closely as they definitley were happy to have the help. The three of them sunk back into a bush, noticing the hostage cave was heavily guarded by Leonardo, Mercutio, and Amari. The three of them were no match for two alphas and the killing machine they previously wittnessed.

"we need to wait it out for a moment." Hibari said, knowing it was a death wish if they made a move. Kali and Yami were quick to agree, which allowed Hibari to take his first real breath, since the adventure began. They quietly watched, waiting for the perfect opportunty, or better yet, until Lupita showed up to distract the alphas, hopefully Kenpachi as well. 

Eziek, Zorr, & Erie

Eziek smiled at the elder, he still seemed to have some wits left in him. "It appears so, sir." Eziek shifted in place, getting ready to stand up and walk over to the couple, noticing his mate slowly waking. "I hope they don't disturb you. Erie seems to have taken a liking to Kianna." Eziek laughed, watching the duo play for a moment. 

Erie had turned his head to the side in confusion as his new play mate stopped. The bigger wolf got distracted and made his sister comfortable to come over. Erie turned his attention over to her, bounding up to her and leaped to allow his forelegs to drape over her shoulders while he attempted to nibble at the fur around her neck and ears before trying to pull her down to the ground. He seemed to ignore the old wolves around him. 

Zorr shook his head before craning his neck down to lick his mate between her ears. "Catorii, dear, this is the new healer, Eziek. If you don't mind, I can go first for the look over."

Eziek nodded his head and walked over to the male fire wolf, feeling more warmth coming off him than usual. It seemed his body was fighting an infection, probably a fever. As a fire wolf, it was expected to be warmer but he wasn't burning to the touch. Pushing his nose, here and there, Eziek felt around and stopped as he detected something off in the wolf's lungs. There was a tumor, nothing too big, but it was present. Many fire wolves got that in old age from the build up of smoke after time passed. 

Kenpachi

The alpha lunged forward, his silver-white armor taking over his body in thick plates with spikes, as he pushed through. He was about to go after the first wolf but stopped as he was too slow as Akemi dashed out. It was fine with him, he wanted to take off and avenge his son. That damn armor wolf that killed him with a single blow. He couldn't believe that it happened, his strongest was gone. If they did anything to his daughter...he'd rip this whole pack into shreds and piss on their bodies. 

He'd go to the heart of the pack, surprise those wolves so his son could rescue the others. Kenpachi trailed farther behind, growing out of breath quickly as he tried to move fast but the armor slowed him down further. Watching as Yami, Kali and Hibari were tucked into the shadows waiting was when Kenpachi bolted through the bush. His massive form appeared in a loud swish as he parted through the bushes in front of him.

Leonardo & Amari

As Mercutio appeared out of the den, Leonardo was silent as his brother spoke in such harsh term with him

 He understood that Mercutio was probably a little annoyed with him, but he didn't care at this point. Much more serious things were happening than a little drama between siblings.

The serious face Leonardo kept was still as Amari approached and sat in front of the den, taking into position like she was told. she was looking a little less pale now that she had ridden of the body, but her armour was still covered in now dried blood.

Leonardo looked Mercutio straight in the eyes and let out one, quiet sigh. "Amari was attacked, by a Ronoh wolf. She killed him, instantly. It was a clean fight, Kuro is now standing watch. I am afraid there will be more. This hostage thing is not going well, we need to go check on Kuro, now." His voice was a little shaky, he was obviously nervous, much smaller and less strength in him than his brother, but he was gaining courage, and was learning how alphas walked and talked and acted. Leonardo stood without a word. There was no time for confrontation, he was worried about Kuro, and wanted to check on them, now.

His ears lifted as he heard a howl come from the distance. kuro. Leonardos eyes flashed back to Mercutio, scared, but ready. He darted off towards the call, knowing Mercutio would be on his tail, especially after a howl like that.

Before he could continue on, a large but older wolf appeared in ront of him. He turned back to Mercutio, shouting "Go!" And taking a leap of faith towards the male, growling furiously as he leapt on top of him, adrenaline taking over as he wasn't thinking, just wanting Mercutio to get to Kuro.

Akemi

the male reached out, grabbing hold only shortly enough to scrape, not exactly had he planned, before being batted on the head by a wing. It was a mockable move as Akemi glared at the male, thinking of him as similar to an elderly lady swinging a purse in defense. Was that the best this male had? He laughed darkly, sensing the darkness from the wolf only excited him more to kill, to smell the taste of another dark wolves blood.  Even the smallest scratch had Akemis heart racing with excitement. 

He backed up for a moment, slinking low to the ground as his legs moved slow and he started to circle Kuro, his tail against the ground and his ears pressed to his forehead, watching the male and waiting for him to make a move, urging him to attack, wanting a fight. "Come on, fight me" He said under his breath, mostly to himself.

Blaire

the female watched as Naomi coward and Dante ran off. She looked back and fourth, and her legs carried her towards her brother. Forgetting about their differences, Blaire made her way to Dante side. "don't leave me" She said, keeping his pace and running by his side towards  the pink wolf in the distance.

Aeris & Apollo

the pair raised their ears at a howl, eager to help. Aeris and Apollo went running into the direction of the wolves howl, stopping in their tracks as a bunch of Ronoh wolves started running towards them. Frown in fear, Aeris didn't run when Apollo shouted at her to. Apollo stepped in front of Aeris, prepared to protect her and her growing, pregnant belly.

Eziek O'Glan, Erie O'Glan & Zorr Torrez

Erie had flopped to the ground as Eva fell underneath him, turning herself to expose her stomach. "Eva, Eva, Nooooo." Erie yelled in a shrill voice as she began to tickle at him. He wiggled around, not enjoying the odd sensation. He turned to try and snap his jaws at her while trying to fight his way free with his fur on ends. 

Zorr was pretty relaxed during the physical assessment. Eziek seemed to do well, mumbling things about his dwindling health that he already knew. Swollen limbs, decreased bone mass, cataracts forming and loss of hearing. There was something that he tensed up as when the healer grew eerily quiet. "What is it?" He asked the green wolf.

Eziek turned to look at Zorr, "You have a tumor in your lungs, I'm going to have to monitor it more. It's not big, so it's nothing too much to worry about at this moment in your life. I'm sure I can get Nora to fetch some herbs to help remedy it." Eziek wasn't that experienced yet in blasting tumors, fighting those cells that were multiplying yet. And even if he tried, the old wolf would never make it through the process. He could just make him live the end of his life peacefully until now. 

Zorr wrapped his tail around Catorii, hoping that she was in better health than himself. There was a high chance of him having cancer, which was no surprise at his age. As long as she was here besides him, he'd be okay. 

Both the former alpha and healer lifted up their ears in response to the howl along with Tyson's sudden appearance. Eziek stood up, his head lowered to prevent banging it on the den's wall. "Kianna and I will watch over them." He replied, knowing that he may have to head out to heal wolves potentially, it was good to have another extra wolf with him. Eziek didn't know who Artemis was, probably another elder that he was supposed to attend to.

Zorr took the death from Artemis as more of a shock. He sighed and bowed his head to his paws. More bad news, it seemed all news carried at once to him. The late alpha pushed his muzzle into the air, "Go Tyson, see to the pack." He ushered for the beta, "Thank you for the news, my friend." He turned to look at Catorii, gauging her reaction with hurt eyes. She had been a loyal friend, albiet, he seemed to lose that friendship; the moment Zorr rejected the water wolf's romances in favor of his mate's.

Yachiru & Dante

That pink wolf was a lot quicker than he expected, he had seen her tail bobbing around before the forest swallowed her up. Dante just kept running in the same direction he had expected her to. What he wasn't expecting was his sister to fall into step besides him. He wanted to shout, What are you doing here? But Dante said nothing, he was actually glad to have her. 

"I won't, let's go show the wolves what we can do." Dante encouraged, his mouth already open to start a gentle pant.

Yachiru spotted Zumi up ahead, she didn't seem to recognize his color complexion when he wandered into Ronoh with his father, having a part in ending the last war. She lowered herself into the ground, wiggling around as if he was a dashing rabbit. In a matter of seconds, Yachiru raced toward Zumi at a quick speed. Her rosy cheeks were glowing a faint pink hue as light was collecting. 

Dante veered off as he noticed Yachiru was going against a black wolf. He looked over at Blaire before trying to look for other wolves. He noticed a yellow wolf with a white, bigger wolf. "Think we can take them?" Dante asked over the array of snarls and fighting around him. 

Catorii, Kianna, Tyson and Eva O'Glan

Catorii's eyes seemed glazed with white as she looked around. For once, she was lost with words. Upon Tysons arrival, Catorii had trouble remembering whom that wolf was, and the hair on the back of her neck lifted. At the news of Artemis, she seemed unphased and unknowingly aware of this wolf. Zorr caught eyes with her and she stared into his, her heart suddenly aching for him. "I am sorry, Zorr. She was great." Catorii leaned over, nuzzling into her mates shouldar, unaware of the news he was brought from Eziek and his health. It was too much for Catorii to take in, and her age was preventing her from multitasking properly.

Kianna lifted her head at Tyson, listening intently. A wolf had..died? She didn't understand. Why was this happening? Didn't it just recently happen to another wolf? Slightly frightened, Catorii reached out, intercep ting the pups play and pulling them both close, not wanting their cuteness to catch the death. She nuzzled into both of them affectionatly.

Eva was on the verge of tickling her brother to death when she was swiped up by Kianna. She let out a nervous yelp but was surprised to see how soft the Alpha heir was being. She looked up at Kianna with her big eyes, letting a smile escape her cheeks.

Tyson nodded and headed off, noticing all the battling that was going on.  He was particularly interested in seeing to the alphas, but was sure that wasn't going to happen, since both were fighting now. 

Tyson noticed Naomi in the distance, his teeth flared but she looked nonthreatning. Growling, he approached her. "State your business!" He shouted, wanting information, not a fight.

Zumi, Blaire, Apollo, Aeris

Zumi turned as he saw a wolf running towards him, caught off guard on if this wolf was...fighting or playing? Unsure, Zumi planted his feet, lifting his lips as displaying a warning. Zumi was unexperienced in fighting, and didn't know how to do much more than protect himself, maybe taking a swing here or there.

Blaire nodded at her brother, her eyes pinned  on the large one. "She looks big. Fat, maybe. Should be easy. Let's go, you go left, I'll go right?" She smiled at him, and corrected jerself, seeing as though she was standing to the left of Dante, they would crash into each other if that was the plan

 "Or, um, the other way. I don't know. Just go!" She shrugged and ran off, eyes pinned on the large wolf as she prepared to jump on whichever one she could.

Aeris hung back behind Apollo, her pregnant body slowing her down until she nearly ran into Apollo behind. He stopped suddenly, watching as two young wolves were headed their way. "Stay behind me!" He shouted to her, trying to figure out how to hold them both back from touching Aeris.

Lupita

The female eyes lit up as Mercutio went charging for her, returning his raging horned animal charge with an electrifying one of her own.

electricity ran from her paws, tail, body, eyen her eyes seemed to sparkle with the bright yellow flashing colors her element created. Every now and then they'd hit a shade of blue, or purple hued with white, but that was only when they'd smack into each other, making a zapping spark. Lupita ran at full speed towards this - rhino- and slammed her paws to the ground, where a jolt of three beams shrieked to the sky, expecting the rhino to run right through it and fall, or ram into her trying.
