New Wolf Era

Naomi

Naomi stayed still, watching the pups. She offered them a few smile to encourage their playfulness. It was delightful watching her family play together. Her ears turned backwards at Blaire's choice of words and Kori absorbing them like a sponge. "Blaire, Kori. Don't say Hell. That's bad." Naomi said sternly, then she nuzzled her daughter before gently guiding her toward Blaire. "Go play, stay near Momma though." Naomi smiled before turning to take a few steps toward the healer, standing abreast with her mate.

"Aiden and I are worried about Kori's condition. She seems perfectly fine, even now. However, Kori just recently went into a convulsive twitch, it came so suddenly and was gone as quickly as it came. Have you ever seen such a thing?" Naomi asked, her eyes large with worry.

Dezera & Dante

Dezera didn't want to, but she picked Dante up as she went to look for Blaire. After wandering in the thick snow, Dezera finally saw a brown mass running with Dezera's parents nearby. She let out a sigh of relief, clentching harder on Dante as the male started to wiggle around to try and see his sister.

Dezera heard the calls of battle, knowing it was probably Akemi's fight. She itched to go see it, but she had to watch her pups. Or did she?

She dropped Dante in the shallow snow, watching as he curled up in place at the cold again. "Go play with Blaire. I'll be back. Don't move from her side and stay here." Dezera ordered, thrusting her muzzle in the direction of her daughter playing.

Dante meekly looked up at his mother. He wanted to protest to go home and sleep, but excietement at seeing his sister got the better of him. As Dezera turned tail, Dante leaped through the snow before bounding toward Blaire.

"Blaire, Blaire!" He howled out to her, a puppy grin on his face.

Dezera figured that they'd be fine, it seemed Aiden and Naomi were there and they would take care of the pups. They wouldn't say no to them, they were always a sucker for pups. Dezera quickly bounded off toward the arena, she trickled with anticipation to see a good fight. She stalked around the ring, her tail whisking back and forth as she watched Akemi and Kodi go at it. Dezera made sure she was visable, almsot as if it'd cause a good luck charm to either party. Dezera walked over toward Yami as she seemed nervous about the fight.

"Relax, will you?" Dezera whispered over to Yami, taking a seat besides her friend. "Just enjoy the show." She smirked, realizing that Yami probably didn't know. "You should have Akemi show you his pups, figured you would want to see your neice and nephew." She casually said as if it wasn't important news.

Yami was quiet as the female approached, the hair on the back of her neck standing up as she feared for Kodi, and also Akemi. "Huh?" Yami asked, hearing Dezera, but not really comprehending it. "Excuse me? Niece and nephew?" Her face seemed to almost grow ill, as though a family member of Kanjis had joined the pack or something. Fear from her past made her shiver a bit... Or maybe it was the snow. "W-who woul that be?" She said, eyes on Dezera now with concern.

Dezera

Her eyes were focused on the battle, watching their moves carefully and looking for thier faults in particular. Dezera felt her lips together, impressed before swinging her head to give a blank stare at Yami. Though, she was right. It didn't sound like Akemi spoke of the pups to her. "Oh, I figured that since your his sister. Akemi would've told you about his new son and daughter, Dante and Blaire." She gave a toothy grin to the light wolf. "You were probably busy with that walking corpse that you brought here." She shrugged, not liking how upbeat the old light wolf was.

Yamis eyes opened wide as Dezera explained that Akemi was a father. "W-What?!?" She couldn't believe it! She was an aunt! "Oh my goodness! I need to meet them! You have to be the mother, your the only one who can tolerate that male, am I right? Oh congratulations! I am sure they are beautiful!" Yami said, too happy to control her excitement. "Akemi will definitely pay for this one." She giggled, although she was sorta serious. "Oooh I am so thrilled!!!"

Lupita

She was rather impressed with her head warrior, pleased to see him in such good condition, and Kodi had done a well job too, proving that he was best as a hunter instead of a warrior.

"Enough!" Lupita's voice rang, tail whipping as lightning traveled across the arena. "I have seen enough. Thank you. Do see the healer, I expect you both to be in top shape when I announce the new ranks to everyone." She said, nodding to the pair, unable to refrain from smiling at the fight that was just performed. 

Nudging into her mate, Lupita couldn't help but grin. "That Akemi seems to have much potential. He took Kodi down without much more than a push." She grinned up to him. "Perhaps one day, he will be as strong as you." She mused, "Or perhaps that day is already here?" She nudged into him in more of a playful way, standing. "I believe, love, it is our turn." She said, stretching out to jump off the rock and wander towards the arena. "Coming?" She asked, looking back to the male. This should be interesting, as both of them hadn't battled in awhile, and their growing age was becoming evidant.

Akemi snickered as Kodi walked out of the arena, seeing the anger in his eyes, most likely from being pissed off about being defeated. Akemi stood tall and walked out of the arena, approaching the same two wolves as Kodi did and bumping into him in almost a joking manor, practically bragging about being larger, silently. "Dez, me and you gotta train soon. You better be up to standards, I don't want to fight another wimp." He winked at her, turning away to go watch Lupita and Kenpachis battle, actually pretty interested in seeing it. As he was walking away, he allowed his tail to caress Dezeras chin, tickling her in a way as he remembered her weakness.

Kodi

He laughed at Akemi as he tried to piss him off again. He was probably just jealous because he was still friends with Dezera. Akemi would probably never get over the fact that he had been with her. He just waited to see if either of the females knew where Braelyn was. He wasn't hurt that bad but she was a sweet girl and he wanted to get to know her better.

Kodi

He smiled. "Oh, yeah...me and little Dante are pals." he told Yami. "You found Blaire then Dez?" he asked figuring she did because she had watched the fight. "Yeah sure, after I talk to her I'll go meet up with you cuz I haven't met Blaire yet." he explained to her.

Kodi

He chuckled. "Oh, Alright..." he said as he looked at her and smiled. Once again, girls just felt like hanging out with him. Maybe it had to do with the time of year. Winter, the cuddling season. "Well let's go find her then." he said as he waited for her to start walking.

Kodi

He nodded. "Yeah it's pretty..." he said. Then he remembered when Kali was just a pup, "Yeah, I remember when I taught Kali to ice skate. I did the same thing with Dante earlier...Kali was probably my favorite little kid along with Xena. I often played with those girls." he rambled. He loved pups, he so badly wanted at least one of his own. His leg was a little sore but he could still walk on it. "Yeah, I really dislike him still....but whatever that fight was pointless anyways, I'm no warrior. It was just so he could show off." he said as he made a face. "I have attributes that he doesn't have so I don't really care." he said proudly. He walked along beside her, he accidently bumped into her as he turned, "Oh, sorry." he said with a chuckle.

Kodi

He was kind of glad that Yami wasn't mad at him anymore. He never understood that whole situation since she had never told him her feelings and nothing was going on between them. He really wasn't a bad guy. He then saw Naomi, Brealyn, Aiden and three pups. He walked up to them. "Hey guys!" he said. "Dante!" he said as he patted his head. "And you must be Blaire?" he said to the brown and purple pup. Then looked at Kori, "Aww who might you be?" he asked with a smile. "H-Hey Braelyn." he told her.

Kodi


He looked over at Yami, "Yeah these are Dez's kids." He reassured her. He chuckled as Blaire bounded towards him, climbing over Dante. "Hey, Blaire. I'm Koldy..." He said as he looked at Dante and gave him a wink. "What are you kids up to?" He asked as he patted Blaire on the head too.

Kori

The small teal pup began to back away as multiple wolves began to show up, she noticed another wolf her size ontop of some big grey wolfs head. She let her long fluffy tail curl around her feet as she stood under her mother. She peaked out at the white wolf that seemed to be extreamly happy. Kori could feel a pressure on her mind from all the wolves it was uncomfortable and suddenly she saw a small mouse scurry over to her and as they made eye contact voices rushed into her head and her vision dimmed as she fell into yet another seizure. The gain of her element had proved to much and she lay on the ground her eyes rolled back I to her head sharp twitches shaking her.

Braelyn

She looked down at the little pup and began speaking before she noticed her fall the ground, the healer grabbed the pup and checked her over and lay her back down before placing the tip of her tail in Koris mouth to keep her from biting her own tounge. She waited a few moments before the beside seizure wore off and looked at the pup and shook her gently to wake her up. She handed her back to her mother and said "How often has that been happening?" She sighed and said "I know exactly what that is...your daughter is prone to Grand Mal seizures." She looked over the couple they both seemed aged and said "Seizures come about for a number of things and I believe that due to the age of you both she has something wrong genetically. Imagine her brain as a room filled with mouse traps and each mouse trap has a ping pong ball instead of cheese and if another ping pong ball gets thrown in there then it'll set off almost every trap causing her to have a seizure but of course they are nurons and scar tissue not mouse traps and ping pong balls." She then waved to Kodi and said "She's going to have a pretty bad headache because what set that seizure off was this little guy.." She gently picked up the helper and set the mouse next to his wolf "She just got her element."

Yami smiled as the little one played with Kodi, but her facial expression tuned to fear as Kori broke down into a seizure. Yami bit her lower lip, and wished she could help. Lookin to Kodi, she noticed he seemed a bit shy around the Braelyn female. It sort of made her stomach turn, but she decided to nudge him and grin. "Why don't you go say hi?" She asked him, figuring he thought the female was cute; which she was. Yami turned herself to Blaires height afterwards, and playfully blew in her face as she sat on Kodis back. Blaire lifted her front paws and batted at the annoying wind, but was full of giggles until almost losing her balance. Quickly Yami reached out to grab her, and then put her Inbetween her wings on her own back, so Kodi could go talk to Braelyn without a pup bothering him. Blaire giggled, and playfully batted at Yamis wings, which in return fluttered for her a few times. Yami couldn't help but wish Lux was around, so she could fly without being worried about landing wrong, and she could show the pups an amazing sight of the world.

Braelyn

She turned from the elder couple to Kodi and Yami and said "Did you guys need something?" She gave a friendly smile always eager to help a wolf out. "how's your leg Kodi?" It looked well although it was bleeding "Oh!" She rushed over and touched his leg "How'd this happen?"

Braelyn

She looked at the wound with a shake of her head and said "You need to be careful of this leg, any damage to the repairing tissues you permentenly ruin your leg." She sighed she shouldn't hve to tell him that "It should actually still have a brace on it." As he spelled out the word she looked at him
Before taking a roll of gauze like material and wrapping the wound several times to cover the paste of aloe and mint. The aloe would help with any burning associated with the tissue damage an the mint would act as an astringent.

Braelyn

She stepped away and smiled "Anything else you guys needed?" She looked between Yami and Kodi with a smile. She looked at the couple as well knowing they'd want to talk to her more as well. She let water pool around her paws and she swirled a paw around in the comforting liquid.

Dezera

Dezera was about to comment to Kodi's reply before Yam inturrupted and gave her own input. Dezera didn't mind, noticing how upbeat the light wolf was again. That was a side she hadn't seen in a while, she could feel the slow annoyance toward her friend form again but said nothing. At the excietment that Yami was toward the pups, you would've thought she was the mother. Then again, why couldn't Yami become the mother and get them off her paws.

Dezera just watched Akemi with a stone, cold stare. Watching the gray wolf that fathered her pups, blocking out much of Yami's yapping and possibly Kodi's replies toward them. She turned to speak to Kodi, hearing him finally ask about her finding Blaire. Opening her mouth to reply, Dezera noticed that Kodi already left with Yami. Her fur started to rise in irritation as he left with Yami. She growled under her breath before turning to glare at Akemi.

"Train? I saw those moves, or lack of them." Dezera scoffed at him, her eyes hiding the fact that she was impressed. She just wouldn't admit to it right now, there was a lot of tension going on between them. It all started when those rugrats were born, how she lothed the day they were brought forth into the cold world. She shivered under his caressing touch, yearning for more of it but stopping herself before sitting in the snow alone now.

Kori

The pup had a horrible headache but as Dante was set down she immediately heard jealous thoughts and got up and sat next to him and wrapped her tail around him and said "No sad..." She emailed at him not understand that they were actually related "Me Kori." She nudged him to get his face to stop looking so angry.

Dante

Dante flinched as Kori touched him, giving her a hard stare as he thought it was Blaire at first. No, it couldn't be if Blaire was still being carried. Dante watched her, his eyes searching her's for a moment. She didn't bite his nose yet like Blaire did. "No, no sad." Dante repeated with a frown and gave a huff. "Koriiiii." He extended the name out, flickering his tail toward her as if he heard correctly. "Danteeeee." He repeated his name, pointing to himself now.

Kori

She liked him more than his sister already but she didn't know they were brother and sister yet either "Danteeee!" She smiled and "Angry.." She pointed to his head and said "I hear angry there." She pointed again with a friendly nudge.

Akemi was engaged into watching the battle, but when he glanced over to see Dezera sitting alone, he would have grinned but instead he stared and motioned her to come sit by him. "Come watch the Alphas. Maybe you'll learn something." He called, figurin they could talk and watch, maybe learn something too. Better than her vein around the weaker wolves, and perhaps they could figure something out with the pups.

Naomi

The mother sighed, that would mean she'd always have to watch her poor child in pain. Even though Kori would never really know what happened, Naomi would always and have that wrecking pain develop every time she'd see it. Naomi leaned against her mate for support as she commonly done. "I guess we'll just wait and see." She replied before sitting down to watch her grandchildren and child play. Soon, when they were older, they'd figure out their bloodlines to each other. 

Dante

"Angry?" He asked, rolling his eyes upward as if to try and see his forehead. Was something there? He rubbed his paws against his head as if to try and remove what this angry thing was. He shared a smile with her, she was nice. "Koldy like Blaire Blaire." He protest with a pout toward the silver wolf before turning to watch as his sister joined them. He just sat motionless and watched her, jerking his head away in one motion away from her.

Dezera

With slanted eyes, Dezera watched Akemi motion to her to sit. She sat in place, stubbornly not wanting to take his gesture. She grunted to herself before standing up and slowly moseying over toward him.  Her violet fur brushed against his as he sat down to watch the impending fight. This should be good, they were evenly matched. Dezera didn't know which side to root for: Lupita, for she admired the alpha's power and control, or for Kenpachi, her mentor. "Left them with my mother. Surely your sister and Kodi are there now bonding with them." Dezera broke the silence with a monotone statement.
