New Wolf Era

Akemi kept quiet after her response, listening to the noises the pups made. They were quiet, that was a good thing. At least they didn't squeak and groan and whimper the whole time, like his sister did as they were growing up. "Did you name them?" he asked, remembering when he named Kali. He was proud I her name, despite the meaning and the circumstances. Surely Kali would never know her name meant destruction of time, but it fit her well. He wondered then, the genders as well. "Is there a boy?" surely, once the pups became useful, he would need to teach them what fighting was all about. Until then, he'd keep his distance.

Lupita

She turned towards Yami, snapping her jaws near her nose. "What do you want now?" She said, quieting down as she heard about Kodi being injured. "I understand. I haven't seen Orion in weeks. I doubt he's still around. Let's see." She lifted her jaw to the sky, howling up, loud enough for the whole pack to hear. It was the healers call, and hopefully he would show up soon, because she didn't know the first think about injures. "What happened to him?" She asked, wondering if he was even worth saving. 

Kestral

He smiled at Kenna and looked up to the sky as a familiar voice was tweeting. "Kevin!" Kestral shouted happily, noticing what he had done. Carefully, the bird had pecked a small hole through the gems that Kestral brought back from Lykken, and strung the string through it, creating two necklaces. He landed on Kestrals head, placing them down infront of Kestral.

Quickly, Kestral covered them up and giggled. "Kenna! Your surprise is done! Um, Um, close your eyes!" He giggled, so excited to give it to her he just couldn't keep still. Hopefully, she didn't notice Kevin swoop in and show off the necklace in the first place. Oh! He was just so excited.

Yami shifted back and fourth, unsure about explaining Kodi's scenario. "I don't know. Some hunting injury, I guess his legs broke." She muttered, not wanting to be helping out Kodi in the first place, let alone spend more time helping him than introducing Lux to her daughter. She only had one day, and it had almost already gone by. "Here they come," She said, quietly waiting as she hoped the healer would show up soon.

Kenpachi

Strightening up as Kenpachi heard the small howl, the large brute shook his head to wake himself up before getting to his feet. There he stretched until he heard several cracks from all over his body. Once limbered up, he wandered over to the howl. To his surprise, there was a small tan wolf. He frowned. "This is Ronoh. I'm the alpha of these lands. Who are you and what do you want?"

Kestral

The male was so excited he just couldn't keep still, practically shaking with excitement. He lifted himself up onto his back legs, trying to balance as it seemed to be pretty hard with such joy, being so close to Kenna. He heard Kevin in the back ground chanting under his breath, "Steady.. steady Kestral...don't... fall... please..." He would say, so quiet that even Kestral couldn't quite make out his words. Lifting his front paws, Kestral ever so carefully brought the red gemmed necklace over his own head, smiling down at it. Now, for Kenna. "Almost, just hold on five more seconds!" He said with excitement, hoping she would just love this beautiful present.

Carefully, ever so carefully, Kestral lifted the necklace up and over Kenna's head, and the moment was just so perfect, Kestral was becoming so proud of himself for no clumsy mess ups! And then, some how, he lost his balance. Although the necklace made it's way around Kenna's neck, Kestral couldn't stop himself in time and had to wrap his arms around Kenna's shouldars like a hug, practically falling over on her. And once the moment was recollected and Kestral realised what had just happened, he stared at Kenna surprisingly as he noticed his own lips had pressed against hers. Great, now, how would he explain this one? Too shocked by the scenario to move, Kestral was frozen in place, lips pressed to the girl of his dreams.

Kenna

Her tail wagged in excitement as she felt the thing being lowered around her neck, as she suddenly felt Kestral fall onto her, her eyes flew open in shock as his lips met hers and she scrambled backwards taken by shock and then looked down at the gem. .She sighed "This is beautiful but Kestral...I-I don't even know." She was blushing hard her coat smoking as she grew anxious

Kenna

She watched him and as he seemed to be genuinely upset about it she frowned and said "It's okay..hey don't cry..it's alright." she smiled at him tryin to calm his nervous antics and to quell the years she saw threatening in his eyes. She turned a scarlet under her fur and felt her body temperature shoot well up into the hindered as she blushed as she thought about what had just transpired.

Tarin

He walked around the pack for a little when he saw some beautiful red roses that had bloomed. He instantly thought of Kenna when he saw them. He picked a bushel of them holding them carefully in his jaws. Not wanting to get pricked by the thorns. He started to walk back to where he last saw Kenna. He saw her coddling Kestral and thought it was odd. "Hey Menna...I mot some moses mor you."He said as the plants were muffling his words.

Kestral

 

The male watched her smile and he felt his own face turn beat red. Kestral seemed to change moods as she seemed more shy than mad, and he allowed himself to calm down. Watching her carefully, he couldn't help but smile back at her, noticing how beautiful she looked, especially with the yellow gem placed around her neck. "Kenna.. I um, hate to say it but, uh, if your not mad about that... you know..." he let out a little giggle, tail beginning to wag, "Then, I might just add... WAAAAAHHHOOOOOO!!!" The joy of the kiss settled in as the male began to dance around, unable to control his happiness from the lovely moment that just happened, finally able to enjoy it now that he knew Kenna wasnt mad. "Best moment of my life, ever." He said, mostly to himself, smiling up at her as he seemed to have ended up on  the ground, belly side up like a happy pup.

Kenna

She looked back and forth between Kestral and Tarin as Kestral grew excited and she looked him right in the eye daring him to start a petty fight with her as she said "Kestral gave me it, wasn't that nice of him?" Her iris daced red and yellow like flames as she silently warned him not to do this. She knew Kestral would pick up on her emotions and then looked to him and said "Hey Kestral can you do me a hugeeee favor? Can you bring these flowers to my den for me?"

Yachiru

"CHARRYYYYY!!!!" Yachiru squealed, suddenly appearing from nowhere and pouncing on her old playmate. "Come on! Let's go play Truth or Daaaaaare! C'mon! C'mon, C'mon, C'mon!!!! Pleeeaaaseeee?" The pink wolf batted her eyes and widely grinned, tail going five hundred miles an hour.

Tarin


He smiled, "Yes, Very nice of him..." He said with a toothy grin. He looked at her, "What's going on?" He mouthed. He could feel that something was up but couldn't put his paw on it.

Kenpachi

Well, at least this one had guts. He'd give her that. He just simply raised a brow. "That's not what I asked. I asked if you were good at fighting. I don't care how good a healer you are. What can you do besides that?" Despite all his years as the alpha, his old passion was beginning to heat up, giving a slight edge to his voice.

Braelyn

She watched the two wolves and said "No, I cannot fight." She grinned and gave the alpha a smug look as his mate appeared and began ranting about how the healer was gone. "Ma'am..I'm a healer." She gave her a polite smile and watched her reaction she didn't seem very friendly but it was worth a try. Her tail curled around her paws as a broken bone began swimming though her mind..if it was that serious they needed to get her over there before he did die..but not of pain of the muscles that would be dying from lack of blood flow..in turn the dead muscle would release toxins into him effectively poisoning himself.

Kestral

The male was smiling and gazing up at Kenna as she handed him flowers. She seemed off, and she had that unusual color to her again. It seemed everytime Tarin came around, she flushed with a strange color he could not quite grasp, and it worried him. The subject was also changed, and he was handed roses instead of some sort of a reply. "Of course, Kenna." He said, quietly. Collecting the flowers, he headed back towards the pack and out of the forest, feeling sort of sad about always being left out when Tarin came around. Maybe Kenna was embaressed to be around him, and didn't want Tarin to know they were friends.  He gave a smile to the familiar pink wolf that pounced on Tarin before disappearing into the forest.

 

Letting out a sigh, Kestral bit down on the roses. OUCH! That did not feel good at all. Spitting the roses out on the ground, Kestral immediatly thought the roses were some sort of an attack on Kenna, never seeing such horrible things. Quickly, Kestral began stomping on them, which in result cut up his paws tremendously, leaving smushed petals and thorns all over the area where he was. Panicing, Kestral then realised what he had done, and quickly set out to find replacement flowers for Tarin.

Kenpachi

Rolling his eye as his mate randomly appeared in a flash of lightning, he turned sharply towards her. "Woman, can't you see I'm trying to---Eh? Orion's gone?" He frowned. When the hell did this happen? Kenpachi settled himself and gave her a completely deadpan look. "I say he handles it like a man and then shuts up about it. It's his own damn fault for getting hurt in the first place. What the hell was he doing? Fighting bears? BAH! He's always been weak."

"But what the hell ever. Look's like you're a trial member." The alpha paused to scratch at his torn ear. He wouldn't admit that he already forgot her name.

Lupita

She let out a growl as Kenpachi grew snippy with her. What was shoved up his... Whatever, apparently this new girl could help. "Whats your name?" She asked while already making her way back towards Kodi at a much faster pace than the other one would probably be able to keep up with, but she did not care enough to slow down.

Lupita

 

She almost stopped in her tracks as she noticed her son mangling up a rose, and wanted to smack herself silly from embaressment. Carrying on, she hoped the new one failed to notice her sons actions and stopped infront of Kodi. "Here he is, fix him, I will watch. Don't waste time with introductions, Kodi needs help, and thats all." She wanted this healer to be souly concentrated on healing, talking to men should be the last thing on her list, just like Orion wasn't allowed to have a mate.

Kodi


He rose his head up as he heard voices, he noticed a new wolf standing next to Lupita. "What's going on?"He asked as he laid his head back down on his paws because he was feeling dizzy from the heat.

Braelyn

She wanted to speak up as she was instructed to get to it "There are thing I need to get after I find out whats going on.." SHe shook her head and moved over to Kodi with a friendly smile and removed the make shift splint and said "This ight hurt but I need you to tell me what happened to it." She pressed down on his leg feeling water build up due to the edema and more than likely bruising to the bone. It wasn't broken but he had pulled his semitendinosus muscle and probably had some tendons that were pulled as well. She looked at the alpha and said "He may have ruptured his semitendinosus and if that's the case I'll need cold and hot water therapy along with blood circulation and a poultice to bring down the edema. I'm also going to need Capsaicin,Homeopathic Arnica, and Turmeric." She felt his forehead and noticed the fever and washed cool water over him "He's also over heating...he's clearly an ice wolf and shouldn't be left in the direct august heat." She looked to Kodi "We need to move you into the shade.

Kodi


He nodded, "Yeah...My cave isn't far from here. I keep it nice and cool."He rambled as he pointed towards his cave with his nose. "I got caught off by a current...and landed on some rocks or something...I don't really remember I just remember waking up on shore."He tried to explain the accident to her.

Kodi


He winced as he was put in a different position as Yami helped. "Huh?" He looked up at her. Then heard her voice and smiled. "O-Okay, come see me..." He said with a small smile since he was out of energy. He felt better as he was in his cave now and the coldness took hold of his body.

Lux

His energy was fading, he almost was silently following the lead of the others. Lux stood in the background with the light reflecting off of him to restore his energy without the help of sleeping. He shook his head before taking the extra sunrays off of Kodi and giving it to himself. Lux helped the young wolf down to a comfortable position, keenly watching Yami's interaction with Kodi. "As long as I'm able to visit your daughter sometime, we should be good." Lux replied with a soft smile at the white wolf.
