New Wolf Era

Karasu

Although she didn't enjoy being treated like a pup, Karasu felt comfort in the rough grip of her father, not minding his quick intentions and feeling better when they were alone. Good, no more annoying brother to ruin her relationship with her father.

Although her hearing was slowly coming back, she definitely could pick up her fathers loud and rough voice - even if he was trying to speak softer, it was hard NOT to hear him.

"Yes Daddy." She said, looking up at him with those sweet, soft eyes she always pulled towards him. She couldn't help it - She was a Daddys girl, and loved her father more than anything else in this world - Of course she would want him on her side.

Kestral

He stared at her dumbfoundedly as she completly ignored the beautiful and magnificent gems he had brought back, and gave no response to his long story. But, he finally believed it was Kenna, since she said it was Kenna. Unsure of how to repeat himself in his long explaination of the gems, and giving one to Kenna, he simply waved his paw around in her face and wriggled his body even more impatiently. This couldn't be Kenna! She was completly ignoreing him!

Lowering his head, Kestral dropped the gems on the ground, turning to look at Lykken. Seemed as though.. if this was Kenna, she was much more interested in Lykken.

"See, sir. Told you, She's amazing." Kestral said, offering a smile to the lucky wolf. "Thanks for bringing me home." He said, turning and walking away with his ears low, leaving the gems behind in the dirt.

Stupid Gems. Kenna didn't like them, so he didn't like them either.

Kestral

He was surprised as Kenna stormed infront of him, but her anger didn't seem to phase him. "Hey, don't be mad." He said, ears still lowered, but there seemed to be some understanding in his eyes.

"Sorry I got upset.." He said, looking down to the dirt now and making circles with his paw. 

"I well, uh." He didn't really know how to explain his brain. He couldn't recognise her, he could barely recognise his helper if Kevin had disappeared for awhile. It wasn't really his fault, something was wrong with him. He knew who she was now though, and hopefully would never forget again.

"I have bad memory, and I'm sorry. I wish I was normal for you." He looked back up at her and offered her a smile. "Friends still? I missed you. Leave is no fun..."

But something seemed to click in his mind, and he grinned. "You really think the gems are beautiful? I love colors. They're absolutly astounding. The yellow gem has a beautiful swirl in it that reminds me of serenity. And the red, it almost looks like it was mixed with some sort of an orange, perhaps some yellow too, causing a much brighter and happier color, but it still has that deep red to it, making me think it's more of a ruby color." He said, sounding shockingly smart as he talked about colors - they seemed to be the only thing he actually comprehended, thanks to his element. "Kinda like you. You glow with those colors too. But now, you glow blue. Why you so sad?" He offered a paw to her, not really knowing what to do, but feeling like a paw(/hand)shake or something like that... might make her feel better. Along with that silly smile, too.

 

Kestral

He was a bit put off when she approached him and dug her face into his chest. He never had a wolf this close, let alone a girl.

"Uh, be careful." He said, holding his paw out as if afraid to touch her. "For some reason, when you do that, my heart feels like it's gunna punch you in the face.." He said honestly, not really understanding why his heart was beating so fast as her touch, but he kinda liked it. Eventually, he became comfortable enough to rest his paw on her shouldar, looking down at her as if this was the best moment of his life. Sadly though, he had no idea on what else to do, besides just stare at her happily.

"I won't." He said, and he meant it. "I'm happy I'm back too, Kenna. Very happy. You know, leave is kind of scary. It's much safer here, and much better, here too. I like it here." He confirmed, mostly convincing himself and blabbering on because of his raised heart rate, seemingly having more energy than he made it look. It was a struggle for him not to dance in place, but he forced himself to sit still, as if to not hurt Kenna.

"Why are you confused?" He asked, as if her previous comment had finally clicked in his brain.

Kestral

He grinned as she laughed, enjoying hearing the sound of her being happy. "Yeah, it's all like, thump thump thump. I don't know what that means, but, I kind of like it. I just.. don't want you to get hurt. Hurt is bad." He lowered his ears as if he knew the feeling.

But, his ears swiveled and his head turned slightly to the side as she mentioned liking him, along with someone else.

"You like me?" Before allowing himself to leap into the air with extreme happiness, and surprise, he held a paw up. "Wait, wait. Do you just, like me, or do you.. like.. like me like me?" He didn't know a better way to explain it, and it was hurting his brain just trying to figure out what he just said... "Well, uh. Here. Let me put it this way.." 

He stood up, and looked around as if trying to find something, but just couldn't. "Okay, wait. Here's how I feel. Like, I like Xena, she's like my sister. But, I don't like her like her. You know? But, I like you like you." He shook his head. "No, wait. That doesn't work." A small growl formed in his throat, obviously becoming frustrated with his own feelings. He looked at her and shrugged. "I, I don't know. But, I like you, like you."

Tarin. He went up in flames as kenna started to flirt with Kestral. He had to leave or else he was going to catch everything in that general area onfire. “I gotta go, talk to you later Kenna.“ he said trying to keep his cool. He didnt understand it seemed like everything was voing perfect. He went back to his cave to think.

Dezera

Her ears flickered back, tilting to the side for a moment. She was unsure as to how to react toward him since he seemed to be warming up. Or was it all an act? Why were males so confusing?

"Good, I wish you the best in that." She smiled over at him, watching him before trying to stand up. She stopped and just sat rigid for a moment. She took a deep breath before shaking her fur off. "That's if we can move to go talk to the healer." She grumbled, giving off a snort. "At least we have each other's company until then, right?" She turned to him, giving off a light-hearted wink for fun. She was in a huge amount of pain, it was hard to even move. Her abdomen throbbed and made her clench her teeth together.

Naomi

She watched the alpha, trying to read her reaction. Lupita didn't appear to fancy the news. Naomi didn't understand why exactly she wished to hold a warrior session immediatly after the news. She gave the slightest tilt of her head, still trying to understand but it didn't come to her.

Xena was gone. It was a fact now. She didn't know how to bring it up to the other yearlings, maybe avoid it until asked. She hoped Xena was alright, where ever she may be. It was unfortunate since the pup was quite a joy to have around.

As she was dismissed, Naomi dipped her head to her alpha. "Thank you, Lupita. I will see you once more at the feast." She barked, before watching her leave. There was a beaming smile on the wolf's face at the compliment. She knew how hard it was to see Lupita's nicer side, especially recieving a compliment. Naomi's tail wagged back and forth.

And to spread the good mood, Naomi raced off to her mate. She bounded and found Aiden, nuzzling into his side.

Kenpachi

Kenpachi gave a firm huff as Karasu had finally gotten her hearing back. At least he wasn't like, talking to a brick wall or anything. "Karasu, if you have a problem with someone, you need to find a way to solve it by yourself." The alpha frowned slightly. "I won't be around forever, despite what the both of us think. I can't always be around to beat up whoever bugs you. As my daughter, I expect you to learn how to fight and deal with problems on your own."

The armor wolf frowned again. His speech wasn't as graceful as he thought it might be. "You're lucky your mother and I have been there for you as long as we have." He didn't have to go into all the details about his childhood, or lack thereof. "...Okay?" Despite being way out of character, a large, dinner-plate sized paw rested itself on his daughter's head and ruffled up her fur.

Lykken

"Aye, that sounds like Kenna alright." Lykken finally agreed, knowing that there were only two wolves who had ever called him, "lion". He gave a sad look over his shoulder towards the pup he had babysat, and had grown to admire with a sort of affection. He was proud of her, almost like she was his own daughter. Biting his lip, he knew that he would have to toddle off soon. But still so many ones to say goodbye to...

And so, as loud as he could make himself, Lykken began to sing. With luck, his words would carry.

"May the road rise up to meet you
May the wind be always at your back
May the sun shine warm upon your face
And rains fall soft upon your feilds
And until we meet again
Let God hold you in the palm of his hand."

When he was done, the luck wolf looked around him, enjoying the scenery one last time before he continued on his adventures. He wandered over to the two gems that lay in the dirt, tsked a little, and put a paw on both. Breathing in, and breathing out he infused each with both his luck and a little lifeforce. Now there would always be a little part of him watching the two grow.

And so he said goodbye to the trees around him, and with a golden sparkle, he was gone.

Aiden

He smiled and said "I figured you would be a great beta, dear." he listened to her and sighed "Finally, I'm allowed to be with my mate for more than 10 minutes." he smiled and streched the thought of being with her sending energy through him. He stood his tail wagging happily as he shook out his shaggy blue fur "So what did you want to do, love?"

Aiden

As she ran off he crouched low his butt in the air playfully and bounded up to her like a pup. He gave her a wolffish grin and nipped at her tail his wagging back and forth. He surprisingly didn't feel his joints hurt as much as a wolf his age should, probably due to all the running he did as a hunter. "So miss, you think you can outrun me?" he smiled and shook his head faking disbelief.

Aiden

He was surprised at his speed as he bolted out to catch her, he shouldn't be able to run this fast without breaking a hip. He laughed at the thought and at the air that breezed though his coat, he reached the tree line before slaying down and skidded around the tree. His tounge was hanging out as he went to tag her with his law to prove he could catch her still.

Naomi

Naomi wiggled around in excietment as Aiden chased after her. She pawed at the ground, giving a small bounce in place. He looked so youthful, she took the moment to fawn at him. Not noticing when he was around the corner and about to tag her.

"Oh, there you are." Naomi barked, giving him a quick lick on the nose before taking off into another direction. It was more of a slackened pace, not wanting to fully run to exhaust herself. She could easily be caught now, but Naomi didn't mind. She enjoyed spending these moments with him.

Dezera

Dezera gave a small dip of her head, staring foward with dialating pupils. She took a small breath. Dezera watched him, it seemed he was relaxing once more. He was starting to remind her of the Kodi that she hung around before. Dezera caught the wince, "You alright?" She asked casually. Dezera shook herself and eased back into a laying position. Dezera felt every position was uncomfortable and painful, slowly trying to curl closer together as if it would stop the pain.

"Kodi, I've been meaning to say that I'm sorry for everything that I've ever put you through." Dezera blurted out in an exasperated sigh. If she was to die from whatever was wrong with her, might as well apologize. It was unlike her to do this sort of thing, but I guess with the thought of death in her mind it made sense to. At least at the time.

Kodi

"Oh, just a few bruised ribs I assume." he said as if it wasn't a big deal. He was really caught off guard when she started to apologize to him. He flattened his ears, deep down he still cared about her and back then he so badly wanted her to be the one but he accepted that it was never going to happen. "Oh Dezera, it's okay... I too apologize for any drama I have caused on your life...I can never stay mad at you." he said as he let out a sigh.

Kodi

He flattened his ears, she was right it wasn't okay. " it's not that I don't want to be around you.... It's that I don't want to get attached to you again. I'm just setting some boundaries for myself because I don't want to look like a fool. It's hard for me to hide my emotions." he tried to explain to her that he didn't hate her.

Kali giggled at the dare, standing up proudly and scanning the area for a wolf to prank. "Okay!" she said, spotting Hidan off I the distance. Grinning, she scampered off towards him, stopping in front of him and beginning to recite a silly random song, whatever she could think off. "YOu are layiiiing in the grass, grass is green, and your kinda mean! Grass and Hidan seem the same why don't you come join our silly game?!" she grinned, endin her song and dance, while she walked away without another word. Rejoining the circle, Kali had a paw over her mOuth in attempt to control her laughter. Oh, this was so fun! "Hibari, truth or Dare?" she asked, trying to control her excitement.

Kenna

He flames died down and she smiled tightly "Yea, I'm fine. Tarins being a jerk, but it'a okay." she blinked and said "Sorry, I didn't mean to heat you up haha." her tail curled around her paws and she settled on a content emotion if she had to then she could fix things with Tarin later.

Tarin

He was so confused on why Kenna was acting like he wasn't even right in front of her. And telling that little pup Kestral that she 'like-liked' him. If he just as so much talked to another female she would have his head. He didn't like this, part of him wanted to get revenge yet part of him just wanted to talk to her. " Little trollop..." he muttered to himself.

Kestral

He smiled, nodding at her happily. "Okay Kenna!" He said, watching her scamble off towards Tarin. Surely, she could cheer him up! Kenna could cheer anyone up! He smiled over at her, oblivious to the whole thing that was actually going on. 

Kevin was heading towards Kestral, and noticed the shinies on the ground. "Oh! Kestral!" Quickly, the wipporrwill grabbed the gems with his two feet, taking off with much extra effort in attempt to fly over to Kestral. Landing next to him, he placed the gems down carefully. "Hey now, don't lose these!" He said, smiling up at Kestral

Hearing Kevin made Kestral turn back and look down, with a huge smile on his face. "oh! the gems!" He said, noticing a strange green auroa around them, sort of like Lykken had. "Strange, why do they glow?" Kestral asked, but forgot about it as he reached out and gave Kevin a big slobbery lick on the cheek - er, face. Kevin just smiled happily and bounced up onto Kestral shouldar, as if he was the happiest bird in the world. 

Kestral quietly stared at the gems, adoring how pretty they were while trying to figure out just what to do with them. Maybe a necklace?

Karasu

She grumbled to herself as Kenpachi spoke to her. Guess she was getting to old for the baby face. Oh well, it was fun when it lasted, and she'd try to slip it in every now and then. "But, what about all the boys I'm gunna meet?" She said, a sparkle in her eye. "Does that mean I get to handle them too?" She personally wanted to be with a male, and hoped her father would allow it.

If she could fight, she should be able to have a boyfriend too, riiiighttt? She grinned at him. "I mean, I AM a big girl now. Right?" 

Lupita

Finally deciding right where the fight would be, the female's broken concentration forced a beam of lightning to fall from the sky.

"Who?" She turned, a glare on her face at Yami. How dare her allow a strange male into the territory when she JUST left and broke the Alpha's word.

Looking over at the male in the distance, Lupita seemed to settle down a bit. By the looks of it, this guy was down to his last few days. He had to be around eight years old, and looked more grey than anything else.

"Alright. Fine." She said, convinced that the old timer wasn't much of a threat, and Yami was sincere about it anyways.

"But, he better be out of here before the warrior training, because I don't want foreign wolves spying, even if he doesn't care." Lupita pressed her tounge to her chest, attempting to clean herself for a moment before turning to look down at the light wolf. "So, hurry up. Training starts tomorrow, if he's not gone, you're my punching bag for the warriors." She dismissed herself and continued back to her work, arranging rocks in a sort of ring-like fashion, developing plans for tomorrow.

Kenna

She looked at him feeling a deep ache, he was who she was supposed to be with ad she knew it. She couldn't wrap her head around what she was feeling for Kestral..she knew she wanted to take care of him because he seemed to need that and she knew that she deffinatly wanted to be around him. Maybe it was just her wanting him as a brother, she figured that's what it was and she looked up at Tarin and said "I love you Tarin, and I'm not worried about slowing down. I know I want to be with you I just don't know what these feelings towards Kestral are.." she brushed her nose against his warm one and then sighed.

Kenpachi

"Boys?" He honestly didn't expect that. But he broke into a fearsome laugh. "Oh, I'll deal with them, alright." A deadly glint appeared deep within his green eye. "I'll deal with them."

Kenpachi frowned, and gave his daughter a sideways glance. "...We'll see about that.....Why...?" If his little girl already had a boyfriend, he would literally crush him.

Hidan

Well, at least the blood had dried a little, but Hidan still couldn't hear very well. Which made him frown as Kali randomly came up to him, had a sort of seizure, and then ran away. What. The. Hell. The earth-colored male got to his feet and made his way around to find his mother. Maybe she would know what to do about his hearing.

When he finally found her, he accidentally bellowed her name instead of just calling it. "MOOOOOOOOOOM!!"

Yachiru

"Huh? Where's Sunny go?" Yachiru wondered, turning around in a circle looking for her new friend. "Oh, hi, Sparkyyy!" She greeted toward her adoptive mother, and pounced on her. "Where's Kenny? Is he awake yet? Where's Kali? Where'd Dan-dan? Where's Kara? Where's Kes-kes?" She asked, rapid-fire, tail wagging all the while. All the built-up energy had to go someplace, right? "Ooooh! What's going on here? Is it a party? What's going on? Is this gunna be fun? Oooh! I wanna join! Can I join?"
