New Wolf Era

Aeris

She nodded to Artemis, looking out to the forest. Something simple? Oh, what a bummer. Back on the mountains, there was no simple. Sure, a few pine martins or possibly a snow rabbit, but besides that, it was all caribu, bears, and snow leopards. 

She was quiet until Artemis made any other actions, accepting her as the leader and waiting for her command. She knew she would be rusty at first, and decided to stretch. Pushing her front paws forwards, her back rump lifted in the air to bring her back into a few cracks, until her own back lifted like a cat, creating a hump similar to a camel as she stretched as much as she could, before standing straight and staring out into the forest, wondering what sort of creatures were kept out there.

Tyson

He gave her a genuine smile as she apologised. "Nothing to apologise about, my dear. We were distracted - No harm done." His tail gave a low wag, thinking it was sort of cute, how she seemed so sweet at times. "No, no. Thanks for the offer, I believe I can handle it." Tyson exclaimed, not truely knowing if the weight would buckle his knees, but he wanted to get cleaned up before continuing on. The dried blood on his forehead was uncomfortable, along with the cuts and bruises he had experienced from the deer that now lay across his back and shouldars. "I will return to help, Artemis." He said, almost in a proud way that it was his own decision; maybe he would enjoy such a superior rank. 

Giving a curt nod, the male took a nice stroll towards a simple, flat feeding ground. A common area to drop prizes, he felt it would be suitable enough to place there. The walk was longer than he expected; the weight of the deer becoming extremely heavy as it seemed to clash into a bruise along his hip with every step he took. The walk may not have been the most enjoyable, but Tyson tried to ignore it by supervising the area. Although the pain would ring, Tyson still bared a smile, knowing his place, his home, and his future, resided here in Sera.

Finally reaching his desired spot, Tyson lowered himself to place the deer carefully on the ground. In the process, the antler seemed to catch back onto an already bleeding hole in his side; just his luck. Letting out a shrill yelp, mostly of surprise, the deer fell with him as his legs buckled and Tyson's smooth running turned into an embaressing disaser.

Wriggling the deer off of him, Tyson immediatly stood and glanced around. Good, hopefully, no one saw that. Feeling rather embaressed, Tyson shook his pelt, trying to hide the pain that he had experienced as he made his way to the water, wanting to heal himself before Nora got ahold of him.

He stopped in mid-step as he realised he was just..leaving a carcass. Lifting his maw, Tyson emitted a hunting call, allowing the pack to hear that there was food; he was sure someone would arrive soon to feast.

Leaving the deer, Tyson made his way to the closest source of water, and immediatly dipped in. "Rough fight with a deer, aye?" He heard a familiar voice, and turned to smile at his helper. The Aye Aye was using it's extended long fingers to explore in a tree for any bugs left over from a woodpecker's hole. 

"Yes, Jace. That exactly happened." Tyson said, grinning up to his helper as he rinsed off his cuts and bruises, using his element to speed up the healing process, as he was hidden in the water and the effects would be sanitized at the same time.

"You won't believe what happened to me today," Tyson explained, dunking his head for a moment to rid of the dried blood and cut on his forehead, lifting out of the water to expose a rather clean wolf, with no blood or bruises left. Shaking the water off, Tyson laid down in the sun for a moment to dry, not wanting to be chilly in the shaded forest; the wind was picking up, and he knew dusk would hit. "It all started when I ran into a friend; Artemis." Tyson began explaining his story, being a time wolf, he always had a habit of starting from the beginning.

Kuro

At the sound of scraping of claws along with clinks of metal, Kuro immediatly stood up and over his pups. His ears came forward, his gaze sharp and cold as his icy blues turned into pitch blacks. At Harle's words, Kuro shot him a look to hush. Kuro's face turned into a silent snarl, his shadows leaking out to cover up his pups. His first thought was Zorr was upset and sent Eli out, in which the head warrior would have his revenge. He always had it out for Kuro and knew his young were his weakness now. His second thought, Kuna was dead if Eli was able to make it here, Kuna was strong but not strong enough to beat the large, armor wolf.

Kuro braced himself, his adrenaline and anger pulsating through his crimson body. As soon as Amari showed a snarling face into the den, Kuro leaped not caring that her mood changed into a giddy one. His fangs flashed out instinctively at her neck, however, that was still covered in the hooked armor. It had punctured him, causing the taste of blood in his mouth before dripping out of his snarling mouth. Not letting it phase him, Kuro lashed to an area that was exposed to snap at.

After, he noticed his mate near the entrence, Kuro flared out his wings to appear larger in the tight den and snarled at Amari. Unsure if Kuna was speaking to him or the intruder, either way Kuna was alive so maybe the alphas hadn't known just yet. But now, Eli would be enraged at the attack of his daughter.

Zorr

The alpha dipped his head at the new beta as he dismissed himself. He seemed to become close friends with Artemis, and part of Zorr wanted to frown in jealousy. He used to be close with Artemis but with time and his choosing of Catorii, their friendship faded into acquantices.

Zorr turned back toward Kuna, not wanting to leave her hanging as she seemed to want to talk to Zorr. It was a simple request, and Zorr had no trouble. He gave her a smile before his eyes flickered. "Mate?" He asked, when did she have a mate. Did Kuro take her as a mate? "Sure, Kuna, I'll be there shortly." He barked, watching as she took off in a hasty fashion.

Why didn't she just discuss it here? Why didn't both wish to come toward him now? Where they looking to breed? But it was fall now? Zorr's mind buzzed with questions but he gave a low sigh to release overthinking. Zorr stood for a moment, enjoying the silence and relaxation for a moment before turning and following Kuna's scent toward where she wished to speak with him.

Tyson

The male gave a chuckle to Jace as they continued to talk about his adventures. "My my, Jace. Fancy me? Now, you've got to be joking." He gave a nudge to the aye aye, who now rested between his paws with his hands behind his head, looking up at his wolf. "Oh, but you never know, my friend. There is always hope for.." 

"I think our time in searching has come to an end." Tyson inturrupted, lowering his head to bathe his helper for a moment, closing his eyes and thinking. "I know you would love the outcome; but you see, I've always been independant. I have a new purpose in life now, being Beta. I don't have to worry about being alone, I have a lovely pack to help take care of, and most importantly, a brand new, wonderful friend." Tyson gave a smile as Jace wriggled and used his long fingers to fix his hair that Tyson was constantly messing up with his tounge. The older wolf gave a chuckle, nudging the Aye Aye with his nose as it took the offer and climbed up onto his back. "I still want to meet her, pleaaase?" Jace nudged him, pulling at his hair in search of bugs, like always. 

Tyson shook his head and laughed. "Oh Jace, you'll never let it go, will you? I don't think she wants more than friendship, and I'm not going to push anything because in my eyes, she's the only true friend at the moment, and I don't want that to change." He laughed again, giving a small sigh as he stood, feeling his bones crack a bit into place until he was standing. "Friendship, Jace, is an important thing in life. And without it, well, I have nothing to do, and no one to talk too. She will always be my friend, and I don't plan on pushing anything else." He turned to give Jace a friendly wink, as Jace reluctantly agreed. "Fine, but, I still want to meet her." Jace said, leaning back to relax across Tyson's back and stare up at the clouds.

Tyson chuckled, and nodded. "Sure thing, buddy." He grinned, taking off at full speed and letting his tounge dip from the side of his mouth, heading back to the hunting group. Jace was taken by surprise by the males random act of speed, quickly reachign his arms out and grabbing the sides of his fur, trying not to fall off as he was in an awkward position on his back. "S-Slow down!" Jace shouted between bumps of his running, but Tyson just kept his usual grin and kept on trucking.

Aeris

She turned as Artemis spoke, but shook her head. "No, I think I need to get out of this place for a bit." She said, standing and making her way towards Artemis. "Where are we going to hunt?" She asked, following her towards the forest. She wondered if they'd stay in Sera, or travel through the unclaimed land. She hadn't left Sera besides the war for any reason, so she wondered what it looked like these days..

Tyson

He was panting by the time they had made their way towards the group, but he stood strong. Looking a bit better than before, all cleaned up from the previous blood tattered to his fur, Tyson held a more fluffy, nicer look to his coat. He hadn't taken a bath in months, so the feeling was superior to how he normally felt. "Ready when you are, coach." He grinned at Artemis, feeling Jace nudge him. 

"Oh, right." Tyson made his way towards a tree, where the Aye aye climbed off Tyson and up onto the tree. He never accompained Tyson on a hunt; it was much too dangerous for the monkey-like creature. He smiled at Tyson, giving a nod of encouragement as he watched each wolf, easily able to pick out the one Tyson had decribed, and he was right; she was very pretty.

Amara

Screeching as her father was barrelled into the ground, Amara knew she shouldn't have peeked from her brother's fur. She stood up and started to amble toward Helle as she tried to get into the scene, not wanting her sister to get hurt like her parents were. The new wolf was scary, especially the way the glinting armor and eyes looked. Amara heard a comforting voice and she instantly went to his side, curling up in the coldness of nothingness. She could see his faint, white form that for some reason, her parents couldn't and he was always comforting.

Kuro

His eyes were as black as a starless sky as the scent of blood was around him, the rage of Kuna being injured and being attacked himself. Kuro leaked shadows, they gave off a decaying scent as they itched to take the life source of the closest thing and cause it's death. Kuro's ears flattened at the loud roar that came from Eli. Kuro snarled to himself. Great. He was going to be involved now. As Eli flung Kuna off and grabbed Amari to release Kuro, the darkness wolf leaped up with sudden strength and stood in front of Kuna to prevent injury to her. Kuro's shadows swirled around, glaring at the opposing family.

"You okay?" He asked in a hushed voice in the direction of Kuna, still silently staring down Eli and Amari. His fangs started to drip with poison, ready to snap and inject some into their metallic blood. He flickered his ears at Amari's explaination, for it was hard for that to happen when he saw that fiend destroying the area around his den. Kuro kept her stare, his gaze unwavering. There was something interesting in her stare but he kept the challenging gaze.

As Amari threw a tantrum again, Kuro hit his tail against Kuna, hoping she'd get the hint to get back and get to the pups. He didn't want them unprotected, especially with Elle already trying to get in the middle of the fight too. Kuro stayed quiet, his shadows increasing as his patience was growing extremely thin as the armor wolves were arguing in his den.

Out of irritation, "Seems he fights your battles too." He muttered aloud toward Amari, hoping to fuel the daughter's anger at Eli. For he knew Eli could easily have Kuro thrown from the pack, but Kuro would get the upperhand and rip the closest thing he had in his cold heart; his daughter. Kuro opened his mouth to speak again, when he cringed as his shadows suddenly dissappated in a flash from a fireball sent threw the blackness. The alpha had arrived.

Zorr

Noticing the colors of the trees, loving the colors of the firey oranges, yellows and reds that came out during this time of year. He went into a gentle humming sound, one of the infamous songs that his mate would sing. He couldn't wait to take her out for a walk in this breezy weather with their little daughter following underfoot. He smiled to himself, almost imagining it himself. His thoughts were rudely interrupted by the sound of crashing and clattering coming from the direction he was taking: to Kuro and Kuna's residency.

Zorr narrowed his eyes. That didn't sound like a spar, it sounded like there was a fight. Zorr picked up his failing speed to investigate and get to the bottom of the sounds. Noticing the glints of metal in the shadows, there was only shouting now. Zorr gave a rough growl before opening his jaws up to emitt a firey ball into the shadows to add some light and announce his presence.

"Enough!" Zorr bellowed, "What is this all about?" He asked, the large amount of diverse wolves was enough to hide the smell of young pups farther back in the musky and dabbled blood smell. "We are pack members, a family. There should be no physical fights unless it is warrior battlings." Zorr stood outside the entrence of the den, his tail high up waiting for an answer and for the wolves to file out.

Zorr

Eying the scene dissipate before him, Zorr lifted his head up as Eli was thinking about punishing her apprenticeship. He watched and looked at Kuna explain her side, watching as Kuro was bleeding and standing in front of Kuna. Turning his gaze to Amari, he noted she too was bleeding on her chest. Zorr listened to Amari's explaination, she sounded more like a tantrum was being in place.

Though, one part clicked when he heard it. "Wait, pups? What pups?" Zorr asked, his eyes shifting over to the supposed couple that resided in the den. He wasn't aware of pups nor did he give permission to breed. Maybe Catorii had allowed them too? As soon as he was to lecture Amari, the armor female stormed out in an irritated manner. She was overreacting and Zorr stood there stunned. "Amari, get back here." Zorr finally called out to her, but she was already gone as quickly as she came.

Zorr's fur started to quiver with smoke as he looked to Eli for an explanation of his daughter's bratty attitude. Then, he finally flickered his tail. "Eli, I'd like a moment to...congratulate the new parents." Zorr said tersely. Zorr finally noticed the bundle of pups in the very back of the cave, three of them. He turned to look at Kuro and Kuna with a glare, hoping they'd explain to.

Mercutio

"I agree, let's go. I don't want our new sissy to grow up too quickly without us." Mercutio grunted as he pushed off quickly to stand up. He stood in place for a moment or two to get his bearings together. Giving a gentle shake of his fur, he still felt sore from the incident but would press on. "Take the lead." Mercutio barked, knowing that Leo probably would've any way since he was the much quicker of the two. Mercutio stiffly would follow after his brother a pace or two behind until they reached home.

Zorr & Kuro

Just like any other female, Kuna seemed confusing to Zorr. "Of course, it's everyone's duty in the pack to take care of each other." Zorr repeated his words, shifting back and forth as Kuna shuffled toward the back to recieve the pups. Kuro seemed to be glancing uneasily at Zorr and the pups.

Zorr turned on him, "Well, don't stand around. Go find Amari, time is ticking. She couldn't have gotten too far. Kuna and your pups are safe." Zorr barked, staring intently at Kuro.

Kuro growled, "Of course, Zorr. I'll be back as soon as I can." Kuro bowed out, shouldering past Zorr before sinking into the ground in a form of a shadow. It was his fastest travel out of the pack that he could rely on. Kuro wasn't happy about leaving his family behind without him, although it allowed him to feel independent once more when he slipped past the borders.

Zorr watched the three pups file up to him. "My, my." Zorr noticed the mutated daughter, the normal son and the other muddle daughter. "They are beautiful, Kuna. Hellequin reminds me of Kuro's mother." He pointed out the dark daughter. "Amara looks definitly took after you." He smiled, complimenting the pups. They would make a wonderful addition to the pack. "Did they recieve the elements yet?" He asked, curiousity ringing in his voice.

Amara

She jumped up as her mother came for them, bouncing in place to lick her mother. As the pink wolf was ushered up to this large fire wolf, Amara didn't shield away. He didn't look too angry, not like her father. Amara tilted her head to the side, her ears lifted up. She giggled and stood up, taking a few steps out toward Zorr to try and sniff him. Upon bending over, she got a large waft of smoke and it sent Amara reeling back into a sneezing fit while scratching her nose from the irritation.

Mercutio

"Just like when Leo and I were introduced to the pack when everyone gathered around the deer?" Meructio asked, brightening up. It was the first time he was able to see most of the pack. They were so big and there was so many of them. But, now, they didn't seem so big. Mercutio puffed out his chest, arching his neck back to appear larger. "Soon, we won't be boys." Mercutio boasted.

Mercutio stood up from his crouched position, giving a soft growl as he playfully pawed at his sister, trying to turn her onto her stomach so he could quickly rub his muzzle into her puppy-soft fur. "Alright, Ma, I'll help. Leo, play with Kianna before she outgrows you like Amari." His eyes twinkled while giving him a soft nudge. "I gotta go help with the firewood."

Mercutio bounded over happily to the fire wood, his tail wagging back and forth as he went back and forth with the fire wood. Moving to the side to admire his work, going back to fix it up, and spinning in a circle while humming the old tribal song his mother would sing whenever she took them out.
