New Wolf Era

Kestral

He looked dumbfounded (like always) and stared at Kenna with a blank face.

"I can't?" He asked, wondering why. He knew it was possible, he had four legs.. eyes.. everything. He looked back up at Kenna, eyes wide. She was so colorful, with the flames. His element always forced him to see the soul of her heart, and he couldn't help but be entranced, as she gave off this pink hue, one he had never seen before. He didn't know what it meant, but he just stared at her, for the longest time.

"Why?"

Kodi


They were finally back in Ronoh, He dropped the end of the elk on the ground and panted for a bit, it was hard work and he was tired from the hunt and still covered in blood. He turned to the other hunters. "Good work guys." He said even though they weren't all getting along. He howled for Lupita so that the other's can join him in letting her know that they were finished with the first hunt.

Ooc; To the mountains?


Tarin

He followed after her, taking a fast pace towards the mountains and out of Ronoh. He didn't look back at all and just kept running and following Kenna.

Orion

He dropped his load onto the ground, and lowered himself to the ground to take a break. Kodi was already howling, no need to join in. He could handle it. Laying down, Orion finally had a moment to collect himself. Calling the meteor was a lot of work, and if he wanted to have a good hunt on his own, he'd need some rest first. His chest bobbed up and down in movements with his tounge as he panted, sprawled across the newly grown grass, "Yeah, good hunt." He smiled, to himself.

Kestral

He was in the process of running when Kenna came to a hault and changed her mind. Still running, Kestral tried to slow down even faster by diving into the ground. Sliding along the grass, he finally came to a hault in front of her and Tarin.

"Yay!" He said, with a smile.

When she asked why he was following her, he didn't really know what to say, so he said the first thing that came to mind.

"Your my friend. Friends stick together, and, your the nicest wolf to me ever. I don't wanna lose that. Besides, you left your family, why can't I leave mine? What's the big deal?" He didn't really understand the term of 'family'. To him, it was just his siblings, his mom, and his dad. None of them mattered that much, even though he did love them more than anything, aswell. He looked up at her, with his usual cross-eyed look.

Riley


He stepped forward and noticed a female, he was expecting a male and was a little surprised that the female said she was the alpha. "Hello, I'm Riley. I'm looking for a new home, perhaps I could join this pack?" He asked in a voice with no emotion. His voice was rough and deep for how young he was.

Lupita

She eyed the male infront of her for quite some time. "Alright, I see your thrilled about this?" She said sarcastically, because of the males tone. "If your really interested, then fine. You seem like a young lad, why not." She needed younger wolves in the pack, many of her pack mates were growing old, and she wouldn't want that to hold them back.

"I accept you to Ronoh as a trial member. You will be watched, constantly. If you make a good pick, then you will be assigned a rank and concluded as a member of Ronoh. If you fail, and cause nonsense and trouble amung our pack members, you will be threatened on your life, and kicked out, never to be seen again. Or else." She didn't feel a need to continue that statement.

Raising her lips into a smile, Lupita tried not to be so hostile towards the new member. "Now, with that all said, shall I show you around?" She figured she'd be able to give a small tour, because by the sound of the hunters; they had returned. Surely they could use a short break before she sent them out on the trial. And perhaps this new male could join them, so she could see his hunting skills... if he had any.

Karasu

She nodded at Kali with a smile. "Of course, Kali." She said, wondering why Kali cared so much about those two. They didn't matter much to her, just her siblings. Dumb. Xena wasn't even really her sibling, but Momma said she was.

"Let's go look now!" Karasu said, running out of the den, not waiting for Kali. She was tired of being cooped up in the den, and tired of the older wolves talking. She just wanted to be free!

Kestral

He followed her until she laid down, then he just stopped and stared at her, wondering why she laid down so randomly, but he wouldn't ask. He just watched her, and smiled to himself. He seemed to always be smiling when he looked at Kenna.

"Okay." He nodded to her simply, not needing to add more than that. He felt stress from her vibes, and didn't want to add on to that, so he figured he'd change the subject, and hoped she would leak with a brighter, happier color than the black stress auroa she was giving off.

"What's your favorite thing to do?" He asked, as his head turned to the side with a slight tilt, eyes full of curiousity and wonder.

Naomi

"He came with Kenna but not with Xena?" Naomi asked, a bit confused. Tarin had told her that Kenna was a close friend since he went off to visit months and months ago, but the fact that he was with her rather than Xena made her tilt her head.

Naomi's ears gently flickered, keeping any thoughts that were going on in her head from surfacing up on her face. Awkward and always near Kenna, why did he feel the need to be around the newcomer pup so often? Naomi wanted to doubt all of but it was against her nature to start judging others.

Caught offgaurd by young Kali's question, Naomi smiled and shook her head. "Oh, no they are not. Kenna is Kodi's cousin and just Tarin's friend." She told her, her eyes brightnening up. "Yes, you should go on a secret mission to find Xena. Maybe she's hiding and waiting to be found. Why don't you girls go look around for her. Just don't run off past Ronoh." She smiled, wanting them to have fun rather than worry so much.

Jayce


He sniffed the air, he could smell the familiar charcoal smell his sister put off so she wasn't far. He walked until he saw Kenna and Kestral laying in the grass. She looked sad and not herself. Jayce had no idea what she was going through, his sister had always been the out of control one. She was always hard to understand. He walked up to the both of them, "Um, Hey...." He whispered quietly to Kenna. He just gave a nod of his head to Kestral.

Jayce


"Can I talk to you alone for a second?" Jayce asked her and then looked back at Kestral, "It'll only be a moment..."He added. He didn't want Kestral to think they were ditching him or something like that. since he knew Kestral had the mind of a three month old. He almost felt bad for the kid, he had know idea what his sister was like. She had always been interested in Tarin, ever since she was a little pup, he knew it was only a matter of time when she would probably go run after him, leaving Kestral in the dark.

Kali

She nodded to Naomi. "Not related? Oh. Okay. Well, they are close, kinda like me and mommy." She said, with a smile, as if it wasn't a bad thing. "Okay! We will!" She said, bounding off towards Karasu, excited to go on a secret mission, because by the way it sounded, they needed to go on one, pronto! 

"Karasu, Karasu!" She shouted, scampering up to the side of her friend. "Quickly, we must begin, Agent Rock! We gotta find Xena, and Hibari, and Hidan! And..." She thought, "And Kenna, and Jayce! Whoever we find first, can help us find the others!" She said, giving her a smile.

Jayce


He nodded, "Thanks, Buddy." He said almost humoring Kestral. That kid really seemed off to him, like when was he going to start using proper sentences and not just throwing words together? Jayce just shook his head and looked back to his sister. "What's going on?...I talked to Tarin. He's really upset." He spoke calmly. He had never seen the fire wolf so flustered before and he wanted to know what happened. "I thought you guys were....Well you know." He said as he sat down beside her.

Naomi

"Thought you'd be in here, sorry if I awoke you." Naomi apologized with a smile to prove her point. She ducked her head and walked in, shivering as it was alot warmer in here since Tarin was fire and she was polar opposite.

"Tarin, do you know where Xena is? Lupita and I are worried, we haven't seen her anywhere around Ronoh. I asked the other pups and they haven't seen her either since she darted out of the den. I figured since your her uncle that you'd know of her whereabouts or at least hung around her." Naomi explained, hoping that Tarin knew.

He had to know about his niece, he seemed to always be hanging around her and trying to take care of her. But, Kali had spoke that he wasn't around but rather around the other newcomer pups. Were they more important that his own niece? She shook the thoughts and smiled at him, waiting for his answer.

Jayce


He felt the acid build up in his paws as his sister gave him attitude. "No, I came here because I wanted to know what was going on with you. You aren't acting like yourself, and as your brother I wanted to know if you are okay."He said explained as calmly as he could. Arguing with Kenna was never good because you could never win. "But, I can see you don't want to talk about it, so I'll leave you alone. Just know that we both love you Kenna." He said talking about himself and Tarin, they were the only family she had and she needed to know that. He wasn't to fond of Tarin but knew he had good intentions and he would trust him over any wolf he had just met around his sister. Because of being a loner he still had major trust issues, but it seemed like Kenna no longer needed him like she used to. So he just nodded his head and walked away. "If you need anything you know where to find me." He said as he left.

Riley


The young wolf nodded to show the alpha he understood, "Yes, I'd like that, if you don't mind." He said in a rough and low voice. Luna swooped down and landed on his shoulder and cuddled into him. He just looked at her with his emotionless brown eyes. He turned back to the alpha, "Is their many wolves my age?"He asked hoping this pack wasn't filled with a bunch of old geezers.

Lupita

She nodded to the male, continuing on towards the middle of the pack, for starters. "Your age?" She asked, looking over the wolf, trying to figure out exactly how old he was. "There are many members, I assure you some are your age." She noticed her daughter not too far off, along with two other members. "For starters, that is my daughter. Don't get any ideas." She said, singling out the black and yellow female, before moving on to the other. "That is Kali, there, and the green one is Jayce." She tried to remember the new males name, hopefully getting it correct. "They are the youngest in the pack, all of them around a year old. The babies, of course." She said, smiling. "Along with a few others, my three boys, Hibari, Hidan, and Kestral. You should run into them eventually, along with Xena, who is another of mine, but not by blood. Just, watching over her, since her mother passed away." She said, with a small nod. "Jayce has a sister, Kenna." She ended it there.

"Going up in age a bit, the adults are Tarin, who is Xena's uncle, Kodi, a hunter, Yami, another hunter, along with a few others, Keera, and Aiden." She said, "The warriors include Tarin, Dezera, and Akemi, who is our head warrior. Don't bother him, I'm sure he won't want to make friends.. he's different." She looked over at the male, "They are all around your age. Yami and Akemi are siblings, so Akemi won't like you around Yami, but I don't really care. Just remember, permission before mates, and pups." She warned, knowing the male would have his usual intentions, seeing as though it was spring. "And wait till your accepted to the pack, if you don't mind." She mused.

"Besides that, our Beta is Naomi. Her mate is Aiden and Dezera is their daughter. I'm probably forgetting a few more, but the only other important one is Orion, our healer. If you have any trouble, you should see to him." She said, while walking around the borders. She didn't bother to include her own mate, considering he was in a deep sleep; probably dead, for all she knew.

"Lots of names, I know. Lots to remember. But, you'll soon match faces with names, in time. Any questions?" She paused in front of the area where the caves were, taking a breif moment to sit and relax, regaining her breath from speaking so much. "If not, these are the caves. Choose one with my scent, they are vacant." She said, "The Alpha den is over there, and the healers, over there." She including, pointing them out with her paw raised, before turning to look at him.

Naomi

She noticed the motions of shock coming across from him, causing her tail to twitch back and forth. Naomi was taken aback that he didn't know of her where-abouts either. That was strange.

"Oh, I would've thought you knew. Hm, I wonder where she ran off to." Naomi thought aloud, a pondering look came across her face. "I've only checked the areas in Ronoh, I'll have to consult Alpha Lupita before I can search outside the lands. We've been having many wanderers and she's getting a little fed up with them taking off." Naomi rambled on.

"Anyways, I suggest you don't run out to find her. If you'd like, you can search around Ronoh for her." Naomi said with a small pep in her voice for some reason. She smiled at Tarin, "Thank you for your time. I best be going." She dismissed herself, walking toward the enterence to leave.

Jayce


He didn't really like how the way Karasu talked about her siblings, he was always taught that family was most important and that he should always have his sister's back over anyone's. Even though he and his sister have had fights and arguments he would never call her names behind her back. "Oh, um...That's to bad." He said not really knowing who Xena was. He still wanted to hear Kali's answer, he looked passed Karasu and looked at Kali with his big red eyes. she was so unique looking, her markings were so unusual, he had never seen any wolf like her and he was so drawn to her. He really wanted to get to know her.

Kali

Kali smiled as Jayce approached, and nodded in agreement with Karasu. "Hi Jayce! Yeah, we lost Xena, and can't find Hibari. You can help, if you want." She suggested. The more the merrier, right? Seeing Jayce watching her, made her eyes turn back to Karasu, feeling a little nervous about the unfamiliar wolf.  Knowing the female would probably lead the search, since she always seemed to be the one in charge, she asked, "Where to first, Karasu?" with a small tilt of her head.
