New Wolf Era

Lupita

"Do you hear something?" Lupita's ears pressed upward at the sound of Akemi's howl. The brat had returned. Good. "Hey, Hibari, come with me. Let's go see what's up." Maybe all the tension would make the pup gain whatever his element was. She picked him up, and plopped him on her back. 

By the sounds of it, a pile of metal had collapsed not too far away. Deciding on taking a detour, Lupita ventured to the sidelines of the pack lands and saw none other than Kenpachi. "Where's the brats?" She asked, "Akemi's howling like a baby, I'd like you to know he left the lands without permission, again." She barked, "So did Tara, and Tarin." She growled, "Tara's back though; and dead." She poked Kenpachi with a paw, making sure the pile of him was alive.

"Serves her right." Lupita said finally, turning to smile at Hibari. "Good news though, little Hibari has gotten his helper." She said, now waiting for Kenpachi to take in all this news.

Somehow, some way Yami had managed to fall asleep, and was sleeping very peacefully until she heard her brothers -not-so-happy- voice. Standing, she stretched, and walked out of the cave. The brightness didn't affect her, and she enjoyed the sunlight considering it seemed to be rather chilly today. Yamis speed increased when she saw a pile of pup laying in the distance. It looked like Kali! Running, the smell of poison and death rung in her nose, and she turned to see both Tara and Kanji, dead. Well, that didn't make her stomach feel all too well.. Sitting, Yami tried to take this all in, but at the sight of her brother covered in blood and flesh wounds, and then her daughter with a deep gash along her side, Yami bent over and began to puke.. Oh, this didn't feel good..

Lupita

She nodded at Kenpachi, just as dumbfounded as her mate about her son not knowing his element. "Well.. where do you feel like training?" Maybe the desired location would give Lupita an idea on what element Hibari might have. She shrugged.

"First things first, I'd like to see why Akemi was cryin' like a baby. I need to talk to him anyways, about his departure. Tarin better be with him." She growled, frustration showing the veins in her forehead as she started off towards Akemi's call. "You coming?" She asked the boys, who sat behind her.

Lupita

She watched him get up and follow, which made herself speed up a bit in hopes of getting all this drama over with. "C'mon, Hibari. Pick it up!" She shouted behind her shouldar, giving a small smile to him as encouragement. He needed to quicken his pace, if he wanted to be strong. 

As they had finally made it, Lupita was thrown off by the bickering of Dezera and Akemi. "Quiet." She ordered, seeing Yami throwing up near by, her eyes directed to the two carcases.. Tara and Kanji. "Lovely." She nodded towards Kanji. "Who killed him?" She asked, turning towards Tarin and Akemi. It was obvious by Akemi's battle wounds that he had done the fighting, while Tarin didn't have a scratch on his nose. But, she wanted to hear the story anyways. One of them would be rewarded, if not both, for bringing back the pups. 

Seeing Kali's state, and Xena freaking out about her mother, she sighed. "Orion will be back soon. Stabilize the daughter for now. As for the orphan.." She turned to Kenpachi. "It's my best interest that we raise her." She said, turning back to Xena. "She will join my pups as one of my own. I will train her to be a true Ronoh Member." She said, seeing as though the pup had no guardian except for Tarin, and well.. She didn't see Tarin as a suitable father. Xena would be a warrior, whether she liked it or not. 

Lupita

She noticed Kenpachi's eyes locked on Kanji. Oh, he must be happy. With no response on how it had happened, Lupita turned to face Hibari and his tiny little voice between her legs. "Hibari." She said, quietly, "They are dead. With every life, there comes death. When wolves die, they stop working, like this thing." She took that moment to poke the dead body of Tara and show that it wasn't alive. "Just like when we tried to kill the rabbits and eat them. It's a circle of life." Well, he had to learn one way or another; why not be blunt?

"That red stuff? Blood. Not water. It's more thick. Smell it?" She asked, touching his nose. "Smells good, right? Thats because you eat things that are covered in blood. But, this is a wolf, and normally we wouldn't eat other wolves. Especially stinky ones," She admitted, considering the flesh was beginning to rot on Tara, probably from whatever killed her. 

"Your filled with blood too, so be careful, don't want it to all spill out, y'know?" She grinned, poking at him. "That skin of yours is tough though, just like Daddys. It'll be hard to lose blood in there!"

Akemis ears pinned to the back of his head in frustration, he never liked being bossed around.. But he knew his place, and shut his mouth. Listening to Lupita, he silently thanked Yami for staying alive, he wouldn't want to give Kali away like that. "I found him, I fought him, I killed him." Akemi said, considering it was true; Tarin made no effort in killing Kanji from what he understood. "Kali knows who her father is. The dammed male opened his mouth and told her, so I slit his throat. Wasn't plannning on killing him until that happened." he muttered, "darkness got the best of me. As for Kali, she jumped in front of my swipe to Kanji and took a blow, I didn't mean to hit her." he wasn't too happy about hurting Kali, but, it really wasn't his fault. At the sound of her name, the previous unconscious Kali opened an eye, weakly lookin around as she saw her mother, throwing up, and her father, dead. She closed her eye again, wishing it was just a dream.

Kali

Little eyes opened again as a blurry view of Hibari came into view. "Hi..Hibe..?" She coughed a bit, blinking and trying to focus on him. Well, finally, something that made her smile. "Yeah, Hibari. We'll play I spy again, don't worry." She said sweetly, until she looked around for another one of her good friends.. her best friend, Xena. Where did she go? 

Finally, with a painful roll, Kali spotted her. Oh, no.. That can't be good. Tara didn't look right, and Xena was crying. Kali coughed again, trying to stay awake but the blood loss was making her feel queesy once again and she lowered her head back down. "Hibari.. is Xena okay?" Kali whispered, not daring to look at the 'scaping blood' Hibari was talking about. 

ooc: I'm a little lost. Isn't Hibari 'Water'? Lol. Unless I'm reading this wrong. But, Kali is time, so it could work. I'll roll with it. :)

Kali

She turned and looked as Hibari pointed out how odd her blood was acting. As if on cue, Lorri approached and giggled. "Well, Kali obtained her helper while we were gone, and I can see it's already coming in handy." She smiled, as Kali looked at her in awe as her cut literally went back in time, and patched itself up. "How it do that?" She asked.

"It didn't, You did." Lorri explained, smiling at Kali.

Kali shrugged and sat up. She felt.. much better, and her tail wagged. "COOL! I fixed me!" She smiled, but remembered what Hibari had said earlier about Xena's mother. "Xena, you okay?" She called to her, not believing that her mother died. She looked over at Kanji, and her ears lowered. "Hibari.. that's my Daddy." She sighed, it was so confusing.. why didn't her Daddy want to live here? With her? 

ooc: Ah, I see. Alright, makes sense now. Don't watch TV, sowwy :D

Kali

She perked up at Hibari's happiness, and giggled as he spoke about sharing fathers. "Okay!" She smiled, but then shrugged. "I don't know. But he was really nice. Look! He helped me find this so I could give it to Mama!" Kali looked around, trying to find her gem.. Where did it go?!

Lorri looked around too, and noticed it laying in the grass not too far away, "Here it is!" She picked up the gem and walked over, handing it to Kali.

Kali grabbed it and giggled, holding it up to the light so it would sparkle. "I wanna turn it into a necklace, so I can remember my Daddy." She announced. 

Kali

She shrugged. "I don't know. Uncle Akemi hurt him." A death glare was sent towards her uncle. "He was bein' really mean. And he hurt me too! Thats why my blood was.. falling out!" She said, remembering how Hibari was describing it. Her eyes searched over towards the gem and she smiled. "No, silly. This is a piece of a Mountain! We should go sometime, it was so fun! Kanji showed us the whole world! It's big! We even saw a beach!" Kali giggled, "I wanna show you! Maybe Xena and I can take you next time!"

Kenpachi

"?" Kenpachi seemed to mutter something, but it was lost in translation. If he could, he would have looked at her with his other eye, but the selfsame bastard he was looking at now had torn it out. But he still seemed to pull half-way out of it, and flicked his tail to show he had heard.

Yami found her breath an turned to see her daughter was up, and unharmed. How did that happen? "Kali!" she shouted, running to her side and embracing her with a huge, happy hug. But, where did her wings go? Yami was so confused. "what happened to you? Are you okay?" Yami started pulling and poking Kalis limbs and belly and cheeks an anything she could to make sure she wa alright. "Mommm... Stopppp." she grumbled, trying to get out o her mothers grasp. "Xenaa, help!" she giggled as Yami turned it unto a wrestling tickle fight, obviously overly happy that her daughter was back in her arms.

Kenpachi

Well, as Kanji was going nowhere at the moment, Kenpachi shook his head and stood proud. "Yes, you'll still be her uncle, and will retain visitation." Just so long as Pandora kept his double-nose out of things. But as Xena started to throw a hissy fit, the alpha's good eye narrowed. "Xena. That's enough." He didn't want to tell her that her mother's death was her fault, but if it came down to it, he would. "You can't stay with your uncle."

Kenpachi

Hardly caring if Xena bore her teeth at him, Kenpachi stood tall and aloof. "Because." He really didn't know why they were now taking care of Xena, but now that he and Lupita were... "Because we said so. So if you don't listen, I'll kick you out, and you won't be with Tarin either." Not like he was gunna, just calling a bluff. "You'll still get to see him. It's not like you're leaving forever."

Kenpachi

Well, it was either his bluff, or his reasoning, but either way, whatever worked. "Come on. Let's see if we can try to get something you can eat." He murmured gently, nudging the small wolf onwards. Maybe if he was lucky, those rabbits from before wouldn't be completley rotten... "And then you can play with the other pups." It appeared as if Xena liked to play, so that could prompt her.

Kenpachi

Keeping a fair pace from the silver pup, Kenpachi weaved his way around the numerous plants and whatnot until he reached his den. He closed his eye and breathed in deeply. Fatigue...He hated it, but it would inevitably make him stronger. But first...He had to get the little half-orphan a meal, and so the alpha wandered over to the decomposing rabbits and poked around for meat that wasn't too spoiled, and set it in a small pile. Meanwhile, he could eat the other stuff, seeing as he didn't mind so much.

Hidan

"Daddee!" Hidan yelped, tail wagging happily and he bounded away from Kodi and tackled his father's leg. "Heya!" He threw his head back and laughed before nomming on Kenpachi's foot. His gums were getting quite painful, and chewing on daddy's paw made them feel so much better.

Hibari

Head going back and forth between Kali, Mama, Daddy, and Meana-Xena, it made Hibari quite dizzy, and so he sat down and rubbed his head. "Owww...owie..." Now he was too hurt to even spy anything! How was he and Kali supposed to play if he couldn't spy right? But she looked like she was having fun with her mama, so he went back to his and leaned against her leg.

Kali had finally wriggled out of her mothers arms, laughing and Rollin away. "stop stop stop!" the little one laughed, trying to catch her breath. "I need a break!" Yami giggled and plopped down, arms around Kali as she smiled. "okay, it's getting late anyways." she nodded. Kali smiled at her, so happy to be back with her mother, but a sad eye flashed towards the stentch of Kanji. Yami brought her daughters face back to look at hers, not knowing that Kali knew ge was her father. "don't worry. Hes gone now.. He won't hurt you." Yami said softly, while Kali looked at her with a dumb founded face. "yeah, whatever. Hey mom, can I go play with Hibari before bed time?" she pleaded, "oh, an then can Xena sleep over?!" Kali giggled. "that'd be so fun!" Yami sighed at her daughters questions and comments, "alright, go play with Hibari. But, I think Xena needs a little time for herself tonight. We can try tomorrow night, okay?" "okay mom!" Kali shouted, jumping up and runnin towards Hibari. "Now Kali, come to the den when your done, okay?" she called, sad to see Kali leave her side, but he knew she couldn't keep her daughter as a prisoner. "okay Mom.." Yami heard that reply and figured it was tine for bed. Standing, Yami pulled her wings into her side ad headed for the den, where she laid down to stare at the stars.. Deep in thought. Kali, on the other hand, bounded toward Hibari. "Hi! Wanna play?!" she asked, giggling.

Hibari

"Yeah! Okay, Mama!" Hibari nuzzled her leg once and then plodded to play with Kali. "Hi!" His head felt better. "Wanna play I spy now that you gots your blood back in?" He liked that game. "I start!" Whirling in a circle, Hibari tried to look for something she'd never guess. "Hmm...I spy...Something... Black!" The grey puppy grinned smugly. She'd never guess that he was thinking of the sky!

Kenpachi

Just about finishing his rabbit, Kenpachi was too tired to flinch when his daughter wanted to be back up on his shoulder. Seemed to be a popular spot. Sighing, he lifted his paw that wasn't being gummed on to create a sort of makeshift bridge. "Alright, come on."

Hidan

"Hey! Watch it!" Hidan growled towards his brother as the puppy tramped over him and ran away. Enough with the chewing, now he wanted to bite something. "Get back here!" He yelled, and ran after Kestral, trying so hard not to trip and fall over his paws. The brown puppy tackled his sibling in a bear-hug and attempted to sit on him. "Gotcha!"

Kenpachi

Nodding in response to his mate, Kenpachi almost gently smiled. "Yeah. Alright. Maybe later, depending on thier elements, we can have Akemi and Dezera help out in the training." He wasn't about to let the weak-ass Tarin help. His pups were going to be mighty warriors, for Pete's sake.

"Ack!" Hibari fell backwards, flipping head over heels and landing on his back. But despite being discombobulated, he was in good spirits "Nuh-uh! Not my nose! Silly! Guess! Guess!" He liked playing with Kali. She was gentle. Not like Xena or his siblings were.

Ooc; whoops I meant nose lol my bad. And Kammi, I don't think they're calling Tarin like a complete weakling, they prob just see him more soft, while Dezera and Akemi are a lot more tough and un caring lol. BIC: Kali giggled. "oh I dobt knowww!" she said, confused. Looking around, she noticed a marchub line of blac ants. "this bug-Thingy group?" she asked, not knowing what the bug-thing was called.

Lupita

She laid down and looked over at Xena and Kestral. "Yup. We gotta figure out what kinda element Hibari has. And, we're going to learn to fight!" Lupita giggled.. somehow, fighting made her giggle? Anyways, she smiled. "Xena, did you know your father was an Alpha? Your going to be big and strong, just like him! You could be an Alpha one day too, if you put your heart into it. Luckily, your going to have Alpha's train you, so you'll be even better!" anything to make the girl smile; the saddness she had just put Lupita down, but hopefully Kestral was helping too.

Kestral

As Xena stuck her tongue out as him, he looked at her in awe. "HOWD YOU DO THATT?!" He asked, wide eyes. Acting like it was the coolest thing in the world, even though Xena did nothing special. He stuck his tounge out and attempted to make a raspberry noise, but just spit all over the place. He was so confused! Her tounge face was so cool! He wanted to make a funny face! Kestral crossed his eyes, trying to look silly.

Karasu

She shouted with excitement as her father offered an arm, and just like with Yachiru, she stuck her pricks of nails out and climbed up her father like he was a rock. Once she made it to the top, she smiled, sitting proud and then hugging Kenpachis head, forgetting about her nails. "I DID IT!"

Xena

"My Father?...an Alpha?" She asked Lupita..."Who is he?.." She asked, this was the first she heard anyone talk about him. "Okay! Fighting should be fun!" She said with a smile, "I wanna be an Alpha....I'm metal!" She said as she puffed out her chest. She then noticed Kestral's attempt to make the same face she did. "Your Silly!!!" She said as she laughed, he was making her feel a little better.

Xena

"Oh Okay..." She said with a yawn. She didn't want to ask anymore questions. She was kind of shy about cuddling with her new 'Foster' brother, but then decided she would go for it, she nuzzled up next to Kestral and Luptia. "Night.." She said in a whispered voice then shut her eyes and tried to sleep.

Hidan

"Aww! Mama! Do I hafta go to bed? I'm not-" The large puppy had to stop in mid-sentance as his mouth opened wiiiiiiide in a yawn. Hidan's eyes drooped. "I'm not sleepy..."

Kenpachi

"Look at that," Kenpachi murmured without much enthusiasm as Karasu climbed up onto his back. It didn't really matter if she was there. He barely felt her anyway. But the conversation between Lupita and Xena sparked something. "Not in this pack you don't." He irritably growled under his breath. No way was she going to be an alpha-not when he was still alive and he had heirs. "C'mon, you." Rising to his feet, which threatened to snap, the alpha wandered over to Hidan and picked him up by the scruff of the neck and brought him over to the den and placed him near Lupita's side.

Kenpachi swung his head around and went off in search for his last pup.

Hibari

"Okay!" Now he had to think of a really good one... "It's my Mama!" he announced proudly, remembering that his mother was part of the sky.
