mania felt the warmth of the male press up against her, her stomach suddenly turned, but not in a bad way, and her heart felt as if it skipped a few beats. why does it feel like this? she asked herself. she had never felt these feelings before. these feeling were actually quite foriegn to her. what's the most gruesome death theory you have came up with? she teased the male, as she turned to face him, still smiling and blushing just from the simple jesture of him moving closer to keep her warm.

 

a warm place to stay? she questioned it mentally. debating whether or not she should actually stay in his den for the night, or if she should just carry on her way. it didn't take long for her to decide once she looked at rex and realized that he couldn't fly much longer in the snow storm that was coming, and zero nodded, attempting to encourage her to sleep in his den. mania almost felt sad once the male moved away from her, although it didn't take her long to quickly catch up to him. she listened as he hummed.

once they reached his little shop, she couldn't help but to smile. it was a mess, just like him. she laughed a bit just at the thought of his shop reflecting him so much. she shook her head while smiling at the male. she began to follow him around all his tools, looking at everything she passed. he began to point out all the stuff laying around. she couldn't help but to laugh as the male jumped in the coffin. she laughed a bit harder when he told her that the coffin was a bit to small for her, so you sleep  in a coffin? she teased the male once more as she followed him through the moss. she looked around inside, it looks perfectly ok to me. she looked at him, it is a bit warmer in here than it is out there too. she turned to look outside, she could see peeks of the cold weather outside, the snow falling harder, rex finally made it was inside, finding a nice resting spot, it's a bit cold out there. he shook his head, attempting to remove the snow from his feathers.

 

mania turned her head back at undertaker, i quite enjoy it here. she looked around once more, smiling, thank you... she smirked, i mean... thank you for letting me come into your den. she dipped her head in gratitude.

Undertaker

The ghost looked up from sweeping away some of the wood shavings and ****ed his head. "Most gruesome? I do beleive that I had sleapt in some pitch-covered pine needles, was set on fire by a bolt of lightning, and then in my mad dash for aid, I ran off a cliff. It's not the most creative, though. I do beleive one might call it, "cliche". Another suggestion of my death of which I am so fond is that I died of laughter." Undertaker turned to stack up some boards and pile them out of the way. "Digesting that tidbit, one would say that it would be accurate, no?"

He chuckled and used his fluffy tail as a broom to get the last remaining bits of sawdust out of the den. "Ah, yes I do sleep in a coffin. It's rather warm. I've discovered enough rabbits that it is now gloariously lined with the coziest furs." He gave a half-look over his shoulder and frowned. "Ah. I shall be right back."

Undertaker padded outside and there were several ripping sounds before he came back cradeling a large, neatly folded wad of black-dyed rabbit pelts. With a flourishing jerk of his head, the blanket was instantly spread over Mania. The ghost gave a crooked grin. "The cold does not mind me too much. You may have it."

Trio & Renci

The male chuckled at his daughter, reaching out and caressing her throat to try and convince her to swallow. "Don't bite more than you can fit in your mouth." He winked at her, "Patience is key now."Turning to his mate, he offered a smile and nodded to her. "Then, we should be off." He smiled happily, reaching down to give Renci a lick on the head. "Adventure, it is. My son," He said, seeing the excitement in his eyes. Lowering his head, he nudged Renci and allowed the pup to climb up on his back, seeing the world at a higher level. "Let's gwooo!!" Renci shouted with glee, as Trio nodded and nudged Tanari, "Come, my sweetheart, let us begin our road to a new life," He looked over at Sora, hope filled in his eyes.

Sorry, sorry, I'm so sorry,... Btw, have you noticed that I always change the spelling with Tanari? Is it Tenari, or Tanari? Lmao. X3 I feel so bad.

Due to her father, Tanari was able to swallow, but did so in a big gulp, giving her the appearance of a frog as the large wad of food went down painfully.But she relaxed finally adn then went for more rabbit. It was good in a really strange way. It wasn't her favorite, but she still liked it. But that didn't stop her from whining once her mother grabbed her by the scruff of the neck and lifted her away. "Mama!" She loudly complained, wanting more of the food. Sora just sighed and nodded her head towards Yun, who snatched the small carcass up in her jaws and stood in wait for the family to get a move on.

Sora's golden eyes met with her mate's and she gave a slight nod. She looked around the forest one more time, remmebering back to when she and Trio had first met. She sighed and gave a smile.

Renci & Trio

Renci giggled and slid down his fathers leg as his sister protested, trying to grab one last bit of meat before Yun swiped it away. Trying to catch the critter, he was surprised as he too was lifted into his fathers jaws, turning to look at his sister with sad eyes. "I'll getchya summore, later." He promised, doing anything and everything for his sister. He, again, was placed on Trio's back as the male turned and placed him there, trying to balance as it was a little tougher with only three legs.

"What about over there? I can smell some wolves." Trio said, heading towards Sera. As they walked, he took each step forwards, and closer to Sora. Even if she was in her brothers form, it didn't stop him from intertwining his tail around hers. He loved her dearly, inside and out.

Izzy was quick to follow, grumbling like always and glaring at Yun. He never seemed to enjoy anyones company, and with pups around he could barely sleep from their constant crying, and now talking and high boosts of energy. Seeing Renci take a seat on Trio's back made him even more jealous; that was his spot. Climbing up Trio's leg was a bit of a difficulty for the echinda, but he managed and took a seat next to the brat that stole his wolf away.

"Thanks," Tanari whispered back at her brother. She really wanted some more....But now that she was done eating for now, she began to lick her paws like a cat would and groomed her face.

"Yes, that sounds like a good idea." Sora agreed, trotting after her mate and comming up beside him. She blushed as his tail entertwined with hers, and she pressed her cheek to his, smiling despite the large ball of fur in her mouth. Tanari made a disgusted noise. "Eww. Mama and Papa are kissing! Yuck!"

Eziek

"Don't worry, Mizzy, you can count on me."

He made his way through the forest, just on the borderline between the burnt forest and that of the full of life side. He knew in the winter, it'd hard to distinguish the difference as both were as bare as ever, yet the charred side held that pungent smell and black bark. It seemed a bit too eerie for him so he quickly went into the autumn covered forest, curling his tail tighter around Masika's in case she thought the same thing.

"See, these colorful leaves." Eziek finally stated, pushing his way into the colorful ones. "It almost looks like they're on fire, don't they." Eziek turned to Masika with a smile, hoping she enjoyed the sight. It was almost hard to see his own orange helper as he either flew through the leaves or perched up on a branch surrounded by them.

"You still with us, Mizuki?" He asked, turning his head to make sure his second-mother was doing alright with their pace. "If you ever need to rest or want to go hunt for food, just say so. My stomach tends to conserve itself and shrink in size without me knowing when I go on trips." He chuckled, knowing that he enjoyed that perk of his element. Eziek could go days without eating, it took a lot of energy to make others the same way for the journey, but he could quell it if they faced a famine from the winter. He'd gladly give his energy off to them.

as undertaker began telling of his most gruesome death, she laughed, tilting her head, what if you were buried alive? she begam to think to herself if that was even possible. or if you stuck in the middle of a stampede? she began to mentally picture the image in her head, all the blood all overe the place. she shook her head, normally, it wouldn't bother mania, but just the thought of it being undertaker laying there it make her stomach tighten. when undertaker began to tell her of the other death he had conjured up for himself, she busted out laughing. you? dying of laughter? nooo. she attempted to flirt with the male, smiling at him.

 

mania continued to laugh as the male began sweeping his den with his tail, undertaker... she began to walk towards him a bit, you don't need to feel the need to clean up. she couldn't help but  smile kindly at him when he explained the cozziness of his coffin, i would say that is pretty comforable! but, do you leave it laying down, or do you sleep standing up? she laughed, remembering that the coffin was leaned up again something outside. mania tilted her head as she watched him turn to hear and frown, what....? she barely got out as he ran off outside.

 

her ears began to twitch as she heard ripping noises, she looked to rex, who gave her a shrug, then she looked at zero, who lookedly equally as confused as she. she still stared at him very confused as he walked back through the door holding the black fur. mania watched as he gently tossed it onto her. she looked at him, smiling, and once again blushing, ohh... no undertaker, i couldn't take your cover away from you. i wouldn't feel right... she turned her head and reached over her shoulder and grabbed the fur very gently between her teeth. she walked closer to undertaker, and attempted to return it, muttering, thank you, but your already being generous enough by letting me out of the snow, i couldn't possibly take this, knowing that you might get cold... she smiled. mania was attempting to be somewhat sneaky with her emotions. for some odd reason, she wanted nothing more than for the male to tell her that they would share, but at the same time, she was having mixed emotions about it, debating whether or not that would actually be the best.

"Ooh? Buried alive? Oh, that is a good one. I don't think I've thought of that before. Nor the stampede. Those are good ones! I shall have to remember those." Undertaker gave a small giggle and shook out his tail, making dust fly all over the place. "I know. It seems very strange, no? But it is widely popular..."

The ghost gave another grin. "Ah, it is, it is! A little hard at first, but you get used to it! Ah...I sleep standing up, but my guests prefer sleeping down! Funny little buggers they are, ye-esss!"

"BAH! Take it and say thank you. I am gifted with a thick coat and the elements do not bother me. And you appeared so chilled that I have not the heart to take it from you. However, if you are still cold, even with that, I suppose I shall have to make other sleeping arangements, hmm?" His lemon-lime eyes flashed breifly before a naughty grin.

Mizuki was slacking in pace, a few feet behind the couple, but she was still keeping up. Her peppered fur shook a bit as they reached the forest, as it was a bit more chilly than the usual temperature on the beach. "I'm here." She said quietly, her ears twitching as she listened to the birds, the wind, and the leaves rustle. She really enjoyed this bit of their trip, and yet it was only beginning. A part of her mind flashed to Banshee, as this was where she had met the male. Part of her wondered if she would ever see that family again. She knew Kenna and Jayce would be nearly two, seeing as though Eziek was growing yet another year older. Trying to remember her own age, Mizuki decided not to worry about it as she was old enough in her mind. "Oh, what?" Mizuki turned to listen to Eziek, catching that last bit with a grin. "Ah, but you must forget I am a thief, and earlier I claimed your element, my friend." Mizuki have a wide smile, and just to be funny she tried to mimic his fangs, winking up at him. "This gal may be getting up there, but I am not accepting my little boy to take care of me just yet." She gave him a wink, and allowed her teeth to shrink back in place; it was hard to talk with those knockers!

eh... she turned her head to continue to observe his den, those come from a morbid place in my mind. she quickly looked at zero who was now walking around the den looking at all the little stuff strung about. rex just looked up at undertaker where do you get this stuff from? he quickly went back to looking around the area, attempting to figure out what exactly everything was. i could picture you dying of laughter a lot easier then picturing you dying some other way. she quickly looked at him, smiling.

 

i couldn't stand sleeping up, i would probably feel as if i would just fall over. she laughed, i mean, it would be easy to do, right? she titled her head at the male. when mania realized that undertaker called her funny for sleeping on the ground, she playfully gasped a bit, are you saying that i'm funny? she tried her best to look like it upset her, she was attempting to hold back the smile that was wanting to be on her face.

 

i'm not taking it. she quickly turned to face the opposite direction of the male. it's yours, and i couldn't take it from you. she sat down, with her back facing the male. she lifted her head up into the air a bit. she quickly peeked an eye open just as he gave her a grin. her heart stopped and she closed her eye once more, i'm stubborn... i'm not taking your cover from you.

"Other guests! Other guests!" Undertaker protested as Mania misunderstood. "My other guests! Not you. Nobody alive I call my guest. No, no, only the deceased I gift with that. Anyone alive who comes here, well, they're given another name entirely." The grey male frowned slightly, and appeared to deflate a little, and for a breif moment, something close to insecurity flashed across his features. "Those, those I call my friends."

"Bah, stubborn female. I'm not telling you to keep the darned thing. I fully expect you to give it back after you've used it." Undertaker gave a snort and shook his head. "Fickle thing, you are. Bah! No good." The grey make turned his back on her and began to sort through the old wood pile, humming to himself all the way. "No! No! It's no good! None of these will suit!"

"Ahhh, I shall be back my dear, hmm hmm!" Undertaker cackled and vanished from sight.

MANiA! ♥

mania laughed at the male a bit, i would like to see you work... i think it would be quite interesting... i have never seen anything like any of this before. she began to look around the room once more. she quickly noticed the change in attitude in undertaker. she quickly turned to him to make sure he was ok.  she tilted her head a bit as she noticed a bit of insecurity in the male, just out of curiosity, you don't have to answer if you do not wish but... how many living ones have actually had the most wonderful opportunity to actually get to know you? she tilted her head sideways and stared at him. for some strange, unknown reason, mania actually felt very blessed to have met this male.

 

yes, i am very stubborn. i'm not going to use it, because you need it. she turn to the male, and lifted up her right paw and slammed it back down on the ground. there would be only one way... she stopped, and looked at him a bit dumbfounded. shaking her head, she watched him begin to sort through the wood, what are you... before she could finish he began to talk about how none of them would suit, she raised her eyebrow at him. and before she could get another word out, he vanished. sighing, mania looked at zero, watching him chuckle at her. your choice, not mine. he suits you though. she sighed once again, knowing that he was right, i know... it's so strange though... being around him... i feel... she paused thinking of the word, i feel normal. zero started walking closer, while rex just looked at her, both saying in unison, you have a crush!! they both bursted into laughter. mania opened her mouth to object, yet nothing came out, she paused, closing her mouth, just to reopen it a few short seconds later. she took a look deep breathe, then nodded to agree, ok... so maybe i do have a slight crush on him.. you both are always lecturing me on how i need to be more social.. and he... he's cute... and sweet... and funny... he doesn't think... she lowered her eyes, to stare at the floor, he doesn't think i'm a complete lunatic. she lifted her brows and made a half way crooked grin on her face.

With a rush of cold air, the grey male returned with not one, but two foxes in his jaws. Both together were almost as big as he was. A third would have made it the same size. The ghost dropped his bounty and began to methodically slice the canines open and began to process of skinning them, using both his claws and a large, flat rock. He was silent for a few long moments before he paused what he was doing and sighed, shoulders sagging. "None. They are all dead now." After a long, sorrow-filled pause, the ghost started up again, becomming rather absorbed in his scraping. The world seemed to grow smaller and smaller until it was just him and his project in it. He sighed again, not even bothering to hum this time.

large white, ebony, and gray wings soared in the sky. her white paws and legs pulled up close to her chest, ok so perhaps the female was cheating about with the flying. perhaps she was using her element in her favor, so she didn't have to worry about flapping her wings and getting wore out. what good was the element if she never used it, except really in battles? her large fluffy ebony tail that was highlighted in white swayed in the wind behind her. her long ears layed flat against her head. between her massive wings sat a black and white spider monkey, lydya sat, stradling lexya's back, with her long arms stretched out, as if she too had wings and was flying through the air using her wings.

 

lexya's deep black eyes began looking over the area below. what happened here? she scoffed, i don't know... it looks like a complete wasteland though... c'mon lexya, let's just keep going. lydya said in a disguisted tone. lexya went to nod her head when she spotted a tiny group of wolves travelling together. lexya... no.. lydya tried to talk her out of attempting to talk to the group, but lexya never really paid attention to her. lexya quickly stopped using her element, and one could easily tell by the amount of alpititude they quickly lost, lexya quickly flapped her wings to stop them from hitting any higher trees, as she quickly turned in a massive u-turn, she lowered herself even more, her large wings gliding her to an easy and very graceful hault in front of the two males, and her large black eyes looked over at the sleeping female.

mania stared at the male as he reappeared, she quickly looked at zero and rex hoping her hadn't heard their conversation. she watched as he skinned the two limp bodies, what's wrong? her voice was soft. she lowered her ears, hoping she hadn't offended him in anyway. mania turned back to zero, i think it's time for us to go, she thought to herself. as she slowly got up on all four of her paws, she turned to begin to walk away from the male, pausing for a short period of time to look back at him.

"Uh-no." Undertaker recalled in a weak-sounding voice. His lemon-lime eyes were wide and fearful. "I beg your pardon, beg your pardon, please stay. I suppose it's been so long that I've had...live friends...that I've forgotten how to be. The dead tell many stories, but they are all as silent as the grave." He didn't even bother laughing at his joke. "Plenty fun, but not too terribly."

The ghost rose to his feet, shaking his head. "Beg your pardon, my dear. You may leave, if you so choose. I am not keeping you here."

Mania looked at the male, i'm sorry, just seemed as if you were wanting your time alone. She glanced at zero then at rex and once more back at him, what sort of stories do they tell? When mania heard the male saying he wasn't holding her there she laughed a bit, oh but you are... she thought to herself. Mania looked at him and the two corpses on the gound before him, undertaker... her voice was soft, how can i repay you for letting me sleep in your den? She paused, looking around, and for letting me be introduced to you. She smiled kindly at him.

Trio & Renci

Trio couldn't help but smile at the love from not only his mate, but his family. It was a perfect picture moment and he couldn't ask for more. But, Renci could.

"Mommmaaa, can't Tanari sit on Daddys back with mee???" Renci whined, wanting to be with his sister, and away from this grumpy helper that was not very pleasant to look at, and he definitely didn't want to touch it. The helper just rolled his eyes, quietly grumbling to himself.

Trio couldn't help but laugh as their quiet moment was ruined by Tanari and Renci's voices. "Oh, the little ones are full of it." He laughed, turning to look back at Renci. "We are almost there. How about you and your sister walk a bit?" He asked, winking over at Izzy who seemed to perk up at the idea.

Renci was quick to leap off of Trio, who, as an anatomical wolf, quickly extended an extra paw and caught him before he was to hit the ground. Trio softly planted Renci on the ground as he scrambled through his parents legs, weaving about and then reaching Sora's mouth and jumping up to try and snatch his sister playfully by the tail. "C'mon, momma! Let her play, let her playy!" Renci whined again, giving her little puppy whines and smiling up, arching his neck as far back as he could while still trying to walk.

Trio laughed, and bumped Sora. "Look, there.." He said softly, seeing a clearing up ahead, filled with wolves. "I think this may be a good start. Let's check it out." He quietly said, making his way into Sera.

Masika

The female was quiet as they entered the forest. She started to walk, in an odd way. After awhile, she even tripped over a small twig and quickly leaned to Eziek for guidance. Focused solely on her feet, Masika realised that walking on sand her whole life hadn't prepared her for such rough terrain that was hard on her paws. She gave a slight whimper, but at Ezieks words she forced herself to look up, and immediatly she stopped in her place.

The sight was magnificent, something Masika could have never imagined. She allowed her jaw to drop a bit, standing there in complete astonishment from the beauty of the forest. Red, yellow, and orange. Three colors she had only witnessed in coral reefs. The true amazement of the place was phenominal, and finally, she remembered to breath.

"O-Oh Eziek. It's.. it's beautiful!" She said, her tail beginning to wag in a slow mannor as she watched the leaves sway, and the tree's talk to each other in a windy fashion. As a bird flew from a near by tree, Masika flinched back a bit, but then leaned forward to get a better look. Finally, she picked up her steps again, forgetting about the pain as she used Eziek to guide her feet. She just couldn't keep her eyes off the forest.

"Ah, beg pardon once again. I'm used to feeling lonely." The ghost stood from his work, sitting back on his hind legs and holding both pelts up to inspect them. As usual, both were perfectly skinned. He brought them over to a root jutting out of the tree-cave and hung both on it to dry.

That the word, "repay", Undertaker perked up and froze, green eyes flashing with a sort of violence before they were hidden by the sheet of hair. He was silent for a few moments more, just staring at her. Finally, he broke the silence with a short of chuckle. "Oh, Daemon, when will you remove your head from the gutter? That's absolutely revolting! Non! Non non non!"

Then taking on a sort of sensual sauter, the ghost wandered up to the female. "Payment? I require nothing of the sort. I despise anything wordly. However, give me /that/, and consider your debt repaid." He was now quite in her personal space, his muzzle naught but centimeters from hers.

"Bestow upon me the choicest laughter."

At her son's whining, Sora shook her head. "No, that would hurt Daddy's back," she replied smoothly past Tanari's fur. She had to watch her feet as Renci darted through them. It wouldn't do to step on her own pup. "Yes, Renci, alright, alright, Tanari can play with you." She deposited her squirming daughter down and watched as she darted off, urging her brother to chase her.

Sora's attention was turned once again on her mate, though she kept an ear open for her pups. "Oh..." The shapeshifter ooed, eyeing the wonderful packlands. She had only been to a few places, but this one took them all.

"Look, Renci, Tanari, there's our new home!"

MANiA! ♥

mania watched the male get up from skinning the foxes, her eyes continued to follow him as he went to hang up their skins, she tilted her head, barely realizing what he had said, only catching the ending of him being alone. if he only knew... she thought to herself, smiling quickly at zero and rex. her multicolored eyes stared back at him, laughing a bit. well... there is no reason for you to have to be alone anymore. her face began to blush once again, and  smile crossed her lips.

 

as the male's eyes flashed, mania somewhat tilted her head. she was really beginning to like this male, he was sweet, charming, funny, and he also seemed a bit dangerous. dangerous... she thought to herself, laughing again. for some strange reason, she liked the sound of that. oh, daemon's mind was in the gutter? she let out a soft laught once again, what was he thinking? she teased the male. as the male got closer, mania's heart began to almost skip every other beat, her stomach began to twist and turn. her tail, which had been facing the ground, started to wag a bit, a faint smile was on her face. as his muzzle was just a few centimeters away from hers, she stared to where his eyes would be, if it were for his hair. she slowly lifted a her right paw up and moved his hair from his eyes, just so she could actually look into his stunning green eyes. her heart was racing at this point, and she wasn't sure what to do next, so she started laughing, and i probably just ruined that. she thought to herself, making her laugh a bit harder.

He was just about to go to sleep when he heard footsteps in front of him. Quickly his sadness turned into protectiveness. His head shot up and he noticed a female standing infornt of him. He got up, "Who are you?" he asked. He was still on guard because he didn't know what she was capable of and he was still protective over Kenna.

the white female stared at the male with her black eyes. she couldn't figure out why he was so protective over the female, and why the female allowed him to act like such. she huffed, shaking her head. lydya, still sitting on her back, now rubbing her little fingers through lexya's fur. she looked up at the male, raising an eyebrow, well... that's just rude. lydya scoffed, as she began to giggle a bit. lexya looked over the male that stood before her, and gave out a little chuckle as she glanced over to the other male that appeared to be asleep. who are you? lexya said, sounding a bit like a smartellic but her voice was soft, sounding somewhat like a breeze.

lexya turned to face lydya as the male spoke once again, her large wings were neatly tucked up next to her sides. her long white ears, with black tips, perked towards the male, as she turned to face him once more. the black dot between her eyes, but a bit above them as well, glistened while her large black eyes twinkled in the light. lexya laughed at him, well... that may be true. but you never ask a lady who she is, that's just rude. she watched the male let his guard down a bit, shaking her head, how would he know if i'm harmless or not? she thought to herself, observing him, well hello tarin... she gave him a slight nod, i'm lexya, and that's lydya, she tossed her head back a bit as lydya looked up at the male glaring him down. i'm just out stretching my wings. what are you guys actually doing out here? she motioned towards the other two.

"Ooh?" The ghost wondered as Mania began to laugh. A smile formed on his lips as well and he gave a chuckle. "Well, I suppose you think me eyes are funny stuff, eh?" Undertaker's tail swished behind him. "Ahh, but you've given me /that/, and for that, your debt is repaid in full. Hee hee!"

The male still stayed in his position, though, and ****ed his head slightly. He had never had anyone part his hair to look into his eyes. It sent strange chills down his spine. "As the pelts are drying, and as you are adamant in not taking my things, I suppose I shall acquess your request. Shall we share, hmm?"

mania's tail wagged as he still stood near her, staring into his eyes. her heart felt as if it were going to jump out of her chest, and she thought that undertaker could hear it pumping. oh... goodness, no! i actually quite enjoy looking at your eyes, they are very pretty. she mumbled, blushing. she tilted her head down slightly to the right and placed a small smirk on her face. i don't get it? how did i repay the debt? she raised an eyebrow at him in confusion.

 

her multicolored eyes quickly shot outside, looking at the drying skins. i told you, i'm stubborn. she turned to look back at him. the tip of her tail facing the ground once more, wagging still. she gave out a short laugh once again and attempted to pounce on the male. zero and rex wasn't for sure how, but they knew that this male was indeed bringing out the better side of mania.

lexya stared at the male with her black eyes. lydya jumped off her back and began to walk around the other two wolves. her long tail brushing up against both of them, she turned around to lexya and smiled. awhh, was this one your girlfriend? she bursted out in laughter at the male. lexya glared over at lydya, and lydya opened her mouth, and then shut it quickly. she ran back over to lexya and sat at her paws. do excuse her. lexya let out a short laugh. she noticed at the mention of the other males name this tarin male let out a growl, her black eyes flashed at the two sleeping wolves then back at tarin. i do apologize, did you almost call her your girlfriend? she smirked at the male, and for that matter, why do you not like the other male? lexya looked back at him, and what did you guys do to get banished from the pack?

He flattened his ears when she asked about Kenna. "Yeah, she was kinda my girlfriend." he whispered. "He's just a slow little wolf that always seems to get in the way of our relationship. To save both our feelings she broke things off with me, but I think I got the short end of the stick." he explained. He wasn't usually the type to open up to strangers but he felt so hurt and vulernable he felt like he needed to talk about it. It was all he could think about. "The alpha kicked us out because of the age difference between us." he said quietly.

lexya began to nod her head as he spoke.well, that truely does not seem fair at all. i mean, does the kestral male have feeling for her or something? lexya raised a brow at him, then looked down at lydya. and age difference? how many years are between the two of you? she tilted her head sideways as she looked at him. just in my opinion, she seems to be a bit of a bitch. lydya laughed, and then looked between the strange male and the sleeping female. lexya nodded, yes, she does. if she truly had feelings for you, she would of explained to the slower male that she loved you. and the only way she would be happy was with you. lexya paused, and coughed a bit, unless she has feelings for him as well. her black eyes looked back over the sleeping wolves. she wasn't one to usually be a therapist to anyone, especially to unknown wolves, but this brute seemed truly hurt by her actions.

He looked away as if he winced in pain. He closed his for a moment. The female was making a point. "Theres three years between us, she turns two and I turn five this spring." he told her. "Yes, Kestral has some odd obsession with her, but it's nothing compaired to the burning Love I have for her, I risked my life and left my home for her." he whispered sadly with his head held down. "There was something weird going on between them but she told me she loved me and that she always loved me." he said as tears began to build up in his eyes. "I would die for her, I just don't know why she's sparing his feelings but putting mine on the back burner....I've always been there for her." he began to ramble.

The male was practically shaking in place, excitement filling in his mind as he listened to the two talking, still not connecting exactly what it was all about, but finally he couldn't take it anymore and he lept from his previous sleeping position and jumped into the air shouting, "WHAT?!?! WHAT SHOULD HE DO?!" With extrme eagerness, grinning happily at the pair as his tail wagged innocently. 

"What what?! I wanna know, what should he dooo?!?!" Kestral repeated, staring at the female and waiting for the story to continue, shivering with excitement from the entire story.

He then turned to the other wolf. "I probably already know what your'e going to say...but I won't leave her. I promised to always protect her and be there for her. I told her that when she was just a pup. Her parents died, and her brother didn't bother to leave the pack with her. So me and this spaz over here is all she has." he explained and then growled at Kestral, making sure he was being quiet. "It's not polite to evesdrop." he added.

He whined as he couldn't make up his mind. He didn't want to leave sleeping Kenna alone with Kestral in the forest. He wasn't much of a fighter, or a protecter. And if Kenna woke up and Kestral told her he walked away with some female she would think he had ran off with another mate or something. "I'd rather not." he told her but then looked at Kestral and had an idea. "Sorry, Kes. This will only be for a couple minuets." he said as he scooted closer to Kestral and put his paws over his floppy yellow ears. "This should work for a little while." he whispered to her.

Kestral

The male turned his head sideways as the two wolves gave him attitude, but he quietly nodded. "Yes sir." He said to Tarin, "If Papa taught me anything, it was to respect your elders, so I will do so. Sorry for inturrupting. I will be right back. I have a few things I wanted to do today!" Kestral smiled, easily leaving the grip of Tarin as he scampered off into the depths of the forest momentarily.

Looking this way and that, Kestral was busy at work. Kenna was his love; his life; his passion. He had given up his life for her, and will do anything for her, above and beyond giving up his life. And so, as always, he put her first and knew she would be hungry when she awoke, so why not fix that cause?

He was on his way to prowl out some food when something beautiful caught his attention: flowers. Oh, they were marvelous! But, they were not going to last long, as they were obviously withering from the snow. Kestral quickly picked as many flowers as he could, gathering and picking, and allowing his helper, Kevin, to take over and hold each flower in the grips of his feet and beak. Kevin would normally be speaking, but he couldn't in fear of clipping the stems with his sharp beak.. so he fluttered besides Kestral, taking each item carefully.

Kestral had gone almost overboard, collecting pebbles now, along with sticks and rocks, and every flower he could find. Carefully, ever so carefully he placed these things in a neat order, and then went off to kill.

He wasn't the best hunter, especially when it came to hunting for himself, but with Kenna on his mind, he knew he could do it. Kestral pushed and pushed, going above and beyond as the growling, snapping and snarling he made echoed through the forest, and then it was silent.

Kestral and Kevin worked together to haul his gatherings back to Tarin and Kenna, along with the new wolf. Kestral happily placed his rocks and pebbles in a circle in front of Kenna, working carefully and diligently, as if he was in another world.

Next, he placed some snow inside the rocks. He was careful to pat each piece down, using the rocks to keep the area cold, as he hoped the snow wouldn't melt. Kevin then dropped the flowers before Kestral, and he carefully bit off each stem and placed the flower's along another perfect circle inside the snow. Inside of this, Kestral put miscelanous items such as a part of an old birds next, a few sticks, and the little amount of grass he could find inside of it. picking up a twig, Kestral slammed it into the ground, and then did the same with another.

Finally, he took a larger stick and walked over to Tarin. Grinning, Kestral held the stick up and it wasn't long until the fire from Tarin had ignited the stick, in which Kestral carefully placed along the two sticks that were sticking out of the ground.

It was the most random piece of art ever, but Kestral wasn't finished yet. Scampering off, he grabbed his kill that he had claimed and drug it back, showing up with a plump sized fox in which he sttached to the stick, and then continued to turn the stick in circles as if cooking the fox.

"I'm sure Kenna will love this!" Kestral smiled, turning to look over at Tarin, who was still talking to the female. "Don't worry, I didn't forget about you guys, either." He scampered off, only to arrive back with two other, smaller foxes. Placing one infront of the unfamiliar female wolf, Kestral smiled up at her. "Ladies first of course!" He said, happily. Only then did he place the other fox infront of Tarin, smiling happily at him, "And of course, you must eat too, my friend." Kestral nodded to the male, looking up at him to reveal just how hard he had worked; Not only was Kestral covered in many scratches, cuts, and bruises, but he was bleeding all over his face and along his coat, along with a nice slice to his ear that was leaving the tip dangling a bit off of his ear. He had worked so hard to obtain everything, but the pain seemed to phase Kestral as he turned to walk back to Kenna's side.

Reaching his OCD of a mess, Kestral began carefully re-aligning things that may have moved, wanting everything to be perfect for Kenna when she was to awaken.

He turned back to Lexya, so what do you think I should do?" he asked as some snow fell on him. He shivered. "I need to find some shelter for us, Fire wolves don't do good in the snow." he told her. "Would you mind helping me? So that we can continue this conversation but also look for shelter." he told her. "Kestral, I'll....be...right back. Okay? If Kenna wakes up tell her I went to look for shelter and I'll be back as soon as I can." he said as he spoke clearly so the wolf wouldn't mix up his words. "Don't leave her till I get back." he ordered. He then took a half of the fox and ate it.

Kestral

He watched Tarin carefully, smiling and nodding at him. "Not to worry, Tarin, but one thing. There's a cave, right over there. I saw it, when I was hunting." His tail wagged happily, as he had that sweet, silly face on him as always, almost as if his eyes were looking in opposite directions.

"It's right over there," He pointed with his nose, "Around the third tree, and behind that large plant, turn a bit to the left and you can't miss it." Kestral smiled. "Also, there are no souls present inside, so it's a perfect place to stay." Kestral nodded happily, ears twitching as though he was listening to the animal's of the forest, their souls always speaking to him, in a way.

"We can meet you there once Kenna awakens. Enjoy your date!" Kestral smiled happily at the pair, thinking they looked nice together. He waved a floppy paw happily, before turning to smile at Kenna, then turning to look up at the sky, making sure nothing was present to hurt Kenna.

His head turned oddly, never meaning anything by harm, but his ears flattened as Tarin's voice spoke up. "Hey, I may be slow, but I'm not stupid.." Kestral said  softly, shrugging. Then, he backed up a bit and brought a paw to his mouth. "Shhhh, don't be rude. Don't you know how to be quiet when a wolf is sleeping?!" Kestral whispered, remembering that Tarin had told him that earlier. Kestral knew that if he respected Tarin, the least he could do was respect Kestral's wishes as well. "Why do you keep changing your mind? I don't understand." Kestral shrugged, "Why don't you just go over there, and I won't listen." He suggested, pointing behind a tree.

lexya watched as tarin placed  his paws over kestral's ears, giggling a bit. she went to open her mouth when kestral got out of tarin's grasp and took off into the woods, she tilted her head, and looked down at lydya, who gave her the same exact confused expression. she just sat in awe when the male had returned with decorations for kenna, and food for them all. this male doesn't even know me, but yet he brings me food? she thought to herself. she gave a slight nod, agreeing to assisting with finding shelter. i do apologize, kestral, i am not actually hungry at the moment. smells wonderful though. she somewhat felt bad for being rude to the male. she turned to face in the direction that tarin was walking in, and quickly caught up, ignoring what kestral had said about a date. she shook her head, and looked back at lydya, you can stay if you want, since that fire might be a bit warmer. lydya stopped and nodded, going back to the strange male and the sleeping female. i hope you don't mind. if anything comes, i can kill them... lexya has trained me well. she smiled, looking back as lexya and tarin walked away.

 

 

lexya turned to the male, smiling, you don't have to leave her. i understand that you made a promise to her to keep her safe, but however, you could always attempt to make her jealous. she gave an evil grin, i could come along with you, and since i can fly and control the air around us, i can always fly ahead to look out for danger, and if anything is to sneak up on us, you guys can run, and i can sufficate them? she nodded, throwing out the idea. she normally didn't like travelling with unknown wolves, but she would be willing to make an exception this time. and how you could make her jealous is to easily spend more time with me, make it seem as if it doesn't bother you that she had left you to attempt to spare both you and kestral's feelings. her black eyes looked over the cave that kestral had been talking about. if you can light it up, we will go see if it safe. she smiled.

He shook his head and stayed in place. "She will think I don't care about her...She will just get mad and not want me to travel with them anymore." he told her. "I know her all to well." he whispered so that Kestral wouldn't hear. "If only Kestral would find some other girl to obsess over." he said whispering so he wouldn't hear again. He let out a low growl again. He then looked back a Kenna. He noticed a light hollow log near by. He grabbed it and drug it over her so snow wouldn't fall all over her. It was like a mini shelter for her, wasn't sufficating. He then walked back to Lexya to continue the convo.
