((Board got too full, new board. Responses still are on the last board))
Eziek
Eziek barked and lowered himself, feeling unsteady. He let out a barking laugh at Mizuki as she tried to get the hang of it. He scooped at the water with his paws, churning the water back into the waves. At first, it was awkward to him and he got no where. Sometimes, it ended with him almost going overboard or spinning in circles instead of moving forward. Eziek murmured to himself, as if telling his muscles exactly what to do and mimic would help him in the long run. Eziek slowly started to get the hang of it, but then he noticed he was quite a ways off to the side from Captain. "Uh, Captain?!" He hollered out, trying to paddle his way back towards the group.
The water wolf watched quietly as the three headed into the water. She was a bit hesitant at first, but then a heavy, slow nudge pushed on her back leg. Turning to take a glance at the ground, There was none other than Gus! "Go, have fun." The old turtle said, quietly. "While you can." Masika didn't know quite what this ment, but she shrugged her shouldars and smiled. "Okay, if you say so." and with that, she ran into the water.
Being an experienced water wolf, it was simple to get on the board. She just used the water like stairs. Sitting pretty, Masika watched as Captain paddled. This was a bit.. more.. awkward. Sadly, it ended with a splash and Masika had to reboard her drift wood. Getting the hang of it, she finally sat down on her rump and paddled towards Captain, then looked over when she heard a voice and saw Eziek. She giggled and wagged her tail, oh what a riot! "Use your tail, helped me guide my wood!" She said in a shy voice, offering little advice.
"My tail?" The green wolf shouted out against the wind, "Are you sure?" He tilted his sodden head, his fur still dripping but drier now that the sun was out for the time being. He stuck his tail into the water, feeling a shiver as it was cold to him agan. How he lived on the beach for so long without really touching the ocean, was beyond him. He tried to paddle, still feeling awkward but he enjoyed the rush of water between his now-webbed paws. He twisted the tail, side to side to help direct it as Masika had offered. It was working! His eyes stared down in a concentrated gaze, trying to make sure he wouldn't fall into the salty water once more as he tried to make his way back toward the group."Hey, Hey, I think I got it!"
"Woohoo! See! It's easy!" She cheered as Eziek made his way over, but quieted down as she felt a bit shy again. She smiled at him before turning back to Captain, wondering what they would do next. Her eye caught on Eziek once more as he seemed chilly, and she dipped her tail into the water to make it warmer. But.. it was already being warmer? Odd. She continued to make it even warmer, so Eziek wouldn't chill as much.

Eziek finally made his way over to the group, his board bobbing up and down along the waves. He nodded his head, "Yeah, your right! Should've learn that sooner before I got thrown all the way over there." He said, turning his head to look out into the distance. Eziek kept still on the board, his tail swishing back and forth underneath it to keep himself steady. He hadn't noticed that Masika was changing the temperture of the water. He just felt the water grow warmer around him and thought it was just a string of good luck that such a current would pass him to relieve the momentary chill. He looked back toward Masika, she seemed to have grown quiet once more. He gently bumped boards with hers, wishing to maybe get her unsteady but not enough to fall into the water.
She watched as Eziek spoke and nodded quietly with a shy smile. As he crashed into her board, she made an act of grabbing the edges of the board as she rocked back and fourth, legs trembling a bit. She looked at Eziek a bit thrown off at first, not used to play.
But, then she saw his happy little face and she shrugged it off, giving him a small smile back as she splashed him with her tail, before turning to make sure Captain was still close by.
"Har-Har!" the male chuckled as the wolves before him attempted to keep their balance. "Now then, time for the first wave! Hold on to yer britches!" Captain made no motion to explain how to surf - That was the beauty of it! Figuring it out on your own.
As if his words were magic, the water they rested upon started to recline into the deep, until lifting up into the sky. A huge wave was formed and Captain grinned as he admired his work.
And with that, there he went, gliding along the wave with the breeze flowing through his coat. "Avast! Land-Ho!" He chuckled, knowing most wolves would probably be washed to shore on their first try. Hook soon joined him in the surf, landing on his shouldar as he closed his own eyes and enjoyed the speed.
Ezeik turned his face away to shield himself from the splash of water that Masika sent off. He chuckled then turned to Captain as he announced it was time for the first wave. "Wait, what?" He asked, confused as what Captain had meant. "But, Captain..." He trailed off, his claws clenching the board as he looked out with wide-eyes at the massive wave. "Uhhhh..." He looked on, unsure as to what to do as the wave was sucking him backwards. All Eziek knew was to hold on and wish for the best.
Dezera
Becoming increasingly antsy, Dezera paced back and forth along the beach. She glanced at the group of wolves on wood, foolish pups. She turned her head and swatted at the sand, she couldn't take it. No doubt the war was boiling right now and dammit, she was not going to miss her opportunity to prove herself! Dezera pushed off the sand and raced off across the landscape back toward her home.
Mizuki found her jaw ajar as the wave approached. "what the heck do we... Ahhh!" the wve lifted Mizuki up, leaving her with a death grip as she surfed along the wave with her eyes squeezed shut. And when she became brave and opened them, the wobbly female smiled at the feeling and attempted to stand, but, that was a fail and soon drift wood and their wolf went flying towards the shore in a mess.
Her eyes began to open up wide as the wave overcame her. Masika didn't get too far, and as the wave began to cap over she seemed to cap over with it, landing on the shore with her face full of sand.
Coughing, she shook her head around as if to un-dizzy herself, and spat out a mouthful of sand. Turning, she watched as Mizuki did better and Captain did amazing at surfing. The water wolf let out a sad huff, and sat down. She was already worn out, and it was only her first try.
As each wolf seemed to be taking a downfall, Captain chuckled and rode his board towards the shore. "not bad fur ye first try maties!" he smiled, then noticed Eziek had not yet hit the shore. "Where the tadpole be?" he asked, looking back at his wave.
Sulking for so long had brought Enki to sleep, and he woke up with a grunt. Lifting his head, he licked himself as he tasted the salty dried up tears along his fur.
He took a moment and looked back at Farah's grave, wishing that it wasn't there, and this was all a dream.
Speaking of dreaming and reality, Enki remembered he was a Father.. and.. where was his son?
Looking around, he spotted a green dot surfing along the waves. Enki's eyes opened up wide. Where did he learn to do that?
She brought herself to a smile as Captain said she did a decent job. She for one felt like a failure, so the thought of being good made her tail wag a bit. "Will we try again?" She asked, a bit of confidence in her throat as she watched Eziek out in the distance.
He nodded happily at the female, "A course we will try again!" He chuckled, "Matey, I gots all day for ye." He grinned at her, tail wagging. "Letsa wait till good ol' Eziek comes on in." He nodded, looking out at the horizon.
Eziek felt himself rising up as the roar of the wave approuched him. He sucked in his breath and before he could move, the wave took him under. He tried to paddle to the surface, but it pulled him under once more. Eziek held his breath, making his heart slow down to stop the mass amounts of pumping oxygen. He finally broke to the surface, gasping for air and slapping the water with his paws.
Eziek noticed the board was farther off, so he swam to it and nudged it until he got to the shore. He spat up salt water, his throat and nose burning from it. He shook his head. "That was interesting." He thought aloud, shaking his sodden fur before seating himself near the group. "Still don't understand how to surf, though." He wagged his tail, eager to try again though and get it right.
Mizuki's eyes widened as the male was surfing well at first but then plopped into the water. She ran towards Eziek like a mother, looknig him over to make sure he was alright. "that was fun, huh?" She finally admitted, once he seemed to be okay.
Captain laughed as Eziek came to shore, and nodded. "You all surfed allright." He said, "Aye, can't teechya that part, ye gotta learn on yur own. Next time, keep yur balance and stay in da center, dun go near the edge now." He picked up his board and plopped it into the water. "'Nother go, anyone?" He wagged his tail happily.
Mizuki was hesitant at first, but she smiled. "Alright, let's try again." She let out a smile.
Eziek let his sturdy tail hit against teh sandy ground, "I'm sure it'll be more fun once I get the hang of it." He held in a burp, the unpleasent taste of salt water giving a bad taste. He shook his fur and stepped back into the shallow waters. "Balance and center. Got it. I just sat there last time." He confessed, his eyes blinking wide. "Let's try this again." He barked, taking his board and nudging it into the water while hitting it with his tail if it started drifting too far.
Mizuki nodded, running out into the water and on her board, getting up on it was an easier challange, and she mastered her balance in no time. She smiled at Eziek, my, he looked bigger everyday. How old was he now? Like.. two? Wow.. Mizuki looked down at her paws, she too, was getting old.
He grinned and ran out to the water as if he was a pup, sprinting towards the waves. With a smile, he paddled out and created another, less massive, wave. "Iight maties, give her a go!" He said, looknig back and hoping Masika would join them.
She wagged her tail, feeling a bit tired but not wanting t be left alone where someone could attack her on the beach. Stepping into the water, she decided to get on her drift wood before she got too deep, and pushed herself into the water. Catching up with the group, Masika smiled. "This is definitely different," She giggled. Back home, they never did fun stuff like this!
The little red wolf felt an odd sensation in her eyes and suddenly blood red eyes opened and looked at her parents, daddy was a lot scarier than she had thought. She shook her self and made delighted squeeks, but then A rush of sounds came to her ears, quite at first but gaining in volume as she could suddenly hear the ocean. Kenna stood up wagging her little puppy tail and looked over at her brother who hadn't gotten his eyes or ears yet. Kenna looked up at her mom and dad and gave a high pitched bark.
Banshee
He looked over as Kenna began to fuss, he grinned and nudged Kayna and said "Look love, she can see.." he smiled lovingly at the babies he helped bring life to and felt an odd sensation in his heart as he looked at his children. Love. His personality had changed so drastically he hardly knew himself anymore.
She noticed her daughter's beautiful red eyes, "Wow they are like rubies" She said as she grinned from ear to ear. "Oh look! Jayce opened his eyes as well!" She said with excitement now that her pups we're growing up so fast already.
Jayce
He looked around, he could see momma's snow white fur, and daddy's dark Shadows, And ever sister's glowing red fur. He could hear and smell everything it seemed like. Everything was so loud, His sister's whines, his parent's talking, and the waves crashing. It was all very new to the young pup.
Banshees tail wagged excitedly and he licked Jayce and said "They both have red eyes..I bet one of them will have eyes that change because of their mood, like mine." he let his shadows reach out and stroke his puppy's soft fur.
Kenna
The little red puppy bounded over to her brother and tackled him but then decided she wanted her mother. She jogged over to her mother putting her little paws in Kaynas shoulder looking up at mom, her eyes bright and sparkling with happiness
She giggled when her little daughter came up to her,"Why, Hello my pretty little girl" She coed to her puppy. "Your so cute!" She squealed.
Jayce
He ran up to his sister and knocked her down off of his mother, he wanted to play and he wanted to play now! He tackled her and started chewing on her ear while making little growling noises.
She gurgled happily at her mom till she hit the ground with a yelp and squirmed as he brother gummed at her ear. She bit his paw and chewed with her squishy gums, squeeking happily the whole time.
Banshee
"They're so wonderful." he licked Kayna on the nose and then said "She's red, maybe she'll be a fire wolf?" he grinned trying to guess the element before it came.
She licked her mate back, "Yeah, Maybe...She likes to be warm" She told him as she looked at the pups who were rough housing. "What do you think Jayce will be?" She asked him.
Jayce
"Owww owww" He howled trying to mimic the sounds he's heard his dad make. He pawed at his sister's face and giggled. Then he tried gumming her tail.
He shrugged and said "Earth? Possibly acid. But I suppose the fur color doesn't always tell the element we'll just have to wait and see." he smiled at her then looked at Jayce, hell why not teach the pups to howl? Banshee lifted his head and let a bone chilling dark wolf howl chill the air. Then looked back to his family his eyes pulsating with purple from his element.
Kenna
As her daddy began to howl she shivered at the intimidation but in order to make him happy she let the best puppy howl she could rip forth. It was extremely high pitched and not nearly as smooth as dads but she was pretty proud.
As his pups howled he thought his heart was going to implode from happiness. He licked Jayce and then Kenna so happy they were healthy.
Kenna
Bad she heard her mothers beautiful howl she jumped up excitedly, she wanted to howl just like that! Kenna grabbed on toKaynas muzzle and licked her mothers forehead with her tiny tounge her paws hanging off the ground.
She smiled huge as her little one gave her kisses, "Aww Thank you little Darling, you liked that?" She asked her daughter knowing she couldn't talk yet. "I can't wait till they can talk" She told her mate.
Jayce
He ran up to his dad and head butted into his side and landed on his butt then started laughing and giggling.
She didn't quite know what her mother said but she smiled enthusiastically and slid off her mother nose and landed on her back rolling around in the dirt before becoming tired and cuddling next to her mother.
Banshee
He nodded and said "It would be nice if they could now." he laughed as his son head butted him and fell over. Banshee tickled him with his shadows.
She noticed the clouds getting darker, "It looks like it is about to rain" She stated, and just as she said the word 'rain' she felt a drop land right on her nose, that leaked through the cracks of their den. "Oh no, I hope it doesn't leak to bad" she said to her mate.
He shook his head as rain hit him and looked up and said "It looks like its only this part. We can move over and it will hopefully get better, I'd not I'll go fix it." He smiled at her and grabbed Jayce lightly and moved himself a few feet waiting for his mate.
She scooted Kenna along into the dry corner Banshee found, a loud roar of thunder came out of the sky, "Oh my! I hope this storm won't be to bad" She said with a concearned look on her face. Jayce also heard the thunder, he yelped then hid in Banshee's fur.
As the darkness came with the thunder his shadows flared violently and his eyes turned black. He looked down at Jayce and licked his head reassuringly and said "Don't worry son the only big bad wolf around here is me." his eyes glinted eerily.
Kenna
As a drop of rain hit her fur she yelped and jumped away and her coat seemed to sizzle she hid her face in her mothers coat and began to suckle again.
"It's alright little ones, Mommy and Daddy are here" She coed to her pups. Though she was worried about the weather and about her very fragile pups. Jayce cuddled into Banshee's coat again and shivered since it was getting colder.
She looked up in the sky and saw a bright flash of lightning, it his a pile of sea grass and drift wood a few yards from their boat and caught on fire. "Oh no!" She shouted in a scared voice, good thing there was water wolves near by.
He snarled and lept out of the cave his shadows flaring at the sudden heat from the flames. His shadows swirled around it covering it suffocating it in their cold tentecals and the air began to smell of rotting flesh as his shadows burned. Soon enough the fire was out and he backed into his cave, his fur pulsating with anger at the fire that had tried to kill his family. His shadows filled the boat as he lay back dow near his family.
Kenna
At the sudden fire she stood wanting to go play with it but as her dad ran infront of her she tumbled backwards back to her mother and said "Pr-ee-tty?" She wasn't sure what the word ment but it felt right so she said it looking at her mother with bright red eyes.
"Banshee! Kenna just spoke!" She shouted with excitement. "Pretty?, You gotta be a fire wolf" She mumbled to herself. Her pups were growing up so fast already.
Jayce
Jayce shook his head, he didn't like the smell of burning things. "Da-Da" He coed as he pawed at his father once he returned to the den.
He made a face liek she was going to poop then studdered "M-maa-maa." She looked up at her mother with a look of 'Did I get it?' and waited to either be corrected or praised.
Banshee
He smiled at his son and said "Say Jayce..Jay...ce." He grinned and said "Kenna seems to be moving quickly.."
"Very good baby!" She told her daughter, "Yeah I agree, she just might pass up her brother" She added as she looked at her two pups.
Jayce
He looked at his father with a confused looked, then decided to give it a shot. "Ja-Jaaaaaayce" He said hoping he pleased his parents. He wagged his stubby little tail.
He grinned and rolled his son onto his back and began to give him a bath "Good boy."
Kenna
She looked at her daddy and walked over to her brother and pointing with a paw said "Ja-jayce?" She let her little tail wag as she tackled her brother and began covering him in licks.
She backed off him, giving him a puppy dog face abd said "Pway.." Her little tail drooped as she got jelouse and growled and gummed daddys nose "No! Jayce..pway!"
Banshee
He backed of as Kenna became frustrated and said "Fine...Go play with your brother hunny."
He grinned and began the next wave as everyone was set and ready. This time he decided to enjoy himself as he rode around doing flips, turns, and even lifting himself up to his back legs so he stood on two. "Har-Har-Har!" He chuckled, wishing he could enjoy this with Enkai, but he knew she would never like something like this. He grinned back at Mizuki, Eziek and Masika, eyes wide with excitement.
Mizuki
She laughed as she watched Captain lift up and surf along the coast. Almost forgetting she was on the board, she had a little better luck than last time as she glided along the water. Sinking back into the curl of the wave, Mizuki looked around in awe until the "O" crashed down on her, bringing her into the deeps of the sea. She came up coughing but with ease with the stolen element as she swam back to shore, laughing.
