Had been sitting peacefully, staring straight ahead as if absent minded. When he heard the Xavier call to him who stood up right away turned with a dip of his head. "Understood. I apologize for my display and am honored to recieve membership despite it." he said quite sincerely, lifting his head up.

Xavier Valkryie III

"Good." was all Xavier had said in his response. At least the wolf had the decency to apologize for such an act. He turned to look at him, "Find Tahlia, she should be in the barn. Make her show you all of the borders, maybe hunt. I don't care. Just be productive. I don't want sitting around." Xavier ordered with a snarl. He spun around and stalked off with Monte following close behind.

He smiled, " Thank you..." be said as he cleaned himself off and made his way out of the cave figuring she wouldn't want him to cuddle or be affectionate afterwards. He walked passed Veirro and gave him a smug smirk before looking for something to eat.

She had just got done dragging some carcasses into the barn. It was much easier hunting in Summer than the Winter. She didn't have to go far to find prey these days. She sat down outside of the barn in the shade and started to pant because of the heat.

Nodded "As you wish." though when the Alpha started walking away his eyes flashed red but he turned to the barn and started walking to it as he was instructed. When he got close to the barn he noticed a panting white female, seems it was that hot out. "Pardon me, but would you perhaps be Tahlia or know where I could find her?"

He dips his head slightly, returning the smile "A true pleasure to meet you, I am Marcus. The Alpha instructed me to seek you out so that you may show me the borders of the territory and possibly hunt." While awaiting her response, his eyes flashed and he saw the blood flowing through her body. If he got lucky, he might be able to get in a good meal.

She nodded, she was some what intrigued by him. He seemed to be very interesting even more so than Xavier. But she knew if if Xavier thought anything was going on he would have her head. She smiled, " Yes, right this way..." she said as she started to lead him to the boarder.

He followed behind, watching her as she led the way "I am sorry if this is a bother to you. I hope I didn't disrupt anything for you." As far he could tell there wasn't going to be anyone with them. This might be easy, might not be. For now though he would simply do as he was told, wouldn't to get a bad reputation so early.

She walked with a little more strut in her step over to one of the boarders. "Oh, no I just finished with my duties. I'm not doing anything anyway. It's nice to have a bit of company around here. It gets a little quiet sometimes." she explained. She didn't have many friends yet here.

Medusa

She groggily awoke a few hours later, looking around the cave as if she didn't know where she was. Standing, she felt weak to the knees at first but eventually got ahold of herself. Man, she was hungry.

Heading out of the den, she spotted Vierro. Part of her hissed at him, the other part of her just sorta watched him, wondering what he was up too. She shook it off, and headed to the barn for something to eat.

He glanced up and saw Medusa...he sighed audibly and stood. He should probably go talk to her. He put on his seductive smile and he let his fragrance coat him and surround him in a fragrant musky aura. He walked into the barn and said "Medusa." He watched her carefully his lime green eyes pinned on her, she gave off the scent of Jax and his immediately bristled...so she had already been with him, how...lovely.

Medusa

She peered up at the bright entry way where Vierro had said her name, allowing her fangs to seep from her mouth and drip with acid, almost as if warning him. "What." She said, glaring at him. He better apologise.

"If it's me you're wanting, think again. I've already been with the best." and as if to prove it, Medusa snapped at him as she walked by him, allowing her rump to take a moment near him, letting Jax's scent seep into his nose, trying to make him jealous. Surely, Vierro didn't have much more to offer.

He wanted to growl at her, to attack her but he held himself in check and stared at her. As she came close to him he chuckled and said "I have a hard time believe that clown is the "best"." he let his moth set again as he said "My my, so presumptuous. I wanted to say I was sorry." his eyes glinted as he covered his motives and he let his scent roll around him and fill the room.

She watched him, nose flicking at the scents gathering in the room. "Well then?" She said, as he mentioned apologising. "And a clown? Well, I think I would know." She grinned. Her eyes followed him at any movement he made, standing on guard. She was the beta, after all. He was simply a nobody in her eyes, just like Jax. But, she'd have to settle for these nobodies, to get what the Alpha desires. Hopefully next time, it would be better. Letting out a loose sigh, she waited for her apology, acting as though his scents were doing nothing to her, although in this time of season, it was hard to hide it.

He watched her knowing his scent must be affecting her someway even if she don't want to show it to him. He let his like green eyes skim over her before looking back at her face. He wanted to do this simply to spite Jax, and of course for his benifit of getting it in.

Xavier Valkryie III

The alpha walked through the abandoned housing where his pack mainly dwelled. He noticed Akri not in his den, assuming he was still out with Xena marking the territory. That pup better be doing a nice job. So far it seemed she was the only heir right now, and dammit, that was unacceptable. Xavier didn't want a female to succeed him.

Xavier ambled across and into the fallen apart house. He let out a sharp growl as he smelt Jax and Medusa's lingering odor. So, it seemed Medusa had chosen Jax for their arrangement. Xavier's ears flattened, hoping at least there would be some new life in the pack within this season. Xavier loped up the stairway into his own privacy to think.

Keeping the grin he tilted his head "I figured the opposite would true, for any wolf would lucky to have you." He stepped up to her and went to look her in the eye. If their eyes met his would turn red and a kind of wave would be sent to her. This trick didn't always work with some females but if it did it cause a yearning or drawing towards him.

The vampire wolf chuckled darkly "Excellent. Forgive me, my dear, I truly have enjoyed your company but everything must feed." He then whispered in her ear when he was right up to her "I'm sure you'll be delectable." He opened his mouth and let his two fangs elongate. He then moved to sink his fangs into her neck and if they did hit their mark it wouldn't be painful; for he used his powers to take the pain away and replace it with a pleasurable feeling.

As he did this electricity built up and shot out through the holes where he bit her. Possibly shocking him, after he had his fill she fainted from all the energy that had been drained from her and he laid on the dirt floor.

His fur stood up on his body from the shock he had recieved but he was smiling, he had his fill and would be good for a long while. He looked at her unconcious body then lifted his head to see if anyone was watching them "Seems like it went well. Hehe, I look forward to getting to know you better." he said even though she most likely wouldn't hear him.

He placed a paw on her and they were surrounded by shadows and then faded. They would come up at the spot where she had been by the barn when he first saw her but now he was carrying her on his back. He made his way into the barn where he laid her down gently. The male then sat a little ways away to awate her when she woke up. She would no longer be in the hypnotic state she had been and whether or not she rememebered what happen would be up to her mind.

She awoke a few moments after they were in the barn she had gotten back some energy but she still felt weak. She sat up but felt light headed and dizzy."Huh?...where am I?" she asked as she looked over at the dark wolf. She didn't remember falling asleep.

"I was also surprised at his absence, he was there almost instantly when I crossed the borders. Though there could be very simple reasons why. He could have been upwind and not scented the wolf. Xavier does appear strong and powerful but no wolf can know what is happening everywhere." he explained before changing the subject, not making it obvious he was "But how about you? How are you feeling?"

Akri nodded solemnly as the yearling did as she was told and marked the border. "Mediocre." He said, quite cheerfully, making it sound like he was praising her. "Please follow, we have more places to mark." His scarlet-tipped wings opened once again, flapping to stretch and air out. They folded up neatly, and the dark wolf continued along the pack boundary, stopping every once in a while to do his own marking. But for the most part, he planned on making Xena do it.

She gave Akri a weird look, "Pfft. And what I don't want to follow you around all day?...I can do this **** myself." she barked at him. She knew that Akri didn't have a high rank what so ever so she didn't think that she had to everything he said. "I have a nose, I know what has and hasn't been marked." she added.

"Oh?" Akri paused to face her, carefree expression on his features. "My orders were specific. It was not "Take Xena out and leave her to mark", but "Take Xena and mark". Im afraid you are stuck with me until the duty is done." His scarlet eyes opened thoughtfully. "However, if you indeed have a nose, then I shall leave all the marking up to you." His tone was even, but his eyes held malice.

"Are you possibly done complaining, or would you like to possibly whine a little longer? It does not matter to me in the least. Though I do have all day, it would be rather...complicated at night."

She glared at the male, feeling totally turned off by his wortless apology. And, as quick as one could blink, her paw swiped from the ground, attempting to catch him by surprise and slap him in the face. Had it been successful, not only would it had hurt, it would have made a point. Had it not, he'd have something bigger coming his way.

"I don't belive a damn word you just said." She spat, completly serious and pissed off about his attitude at the moment.

"As you wish," Akri muttered cooly after the yearling, merely shrugging and going about as if nothing had happened. The rest of the marking on his side went smoothly, and he even managed to snag a pair of rabbits-one for himself and one for the pack. He swallowed his own whole and padded back to the game shed with the other. He found a spot to dump the corpse and went back outside again, just as Medusa slapped Vierro upside the head. A smirk etched itself onto his lips and he chuckled internally. That acid wolf must have said something incredibly stupid. That or the beta's hormones were running wild. Or both.

And so he slipped under a shadow, took a seat, and watched the show.

He bristled at her slap his lime green eyes locking on hers and said "**** you and your apology then." His voice was throaty as he said "I figured you were more than a bag of raging hormones." his goal now was to piss her off. He watched her and said "I can smell Jax on you so I figured you'd be less temperamental." she had insulted him as a male and wan't taking it lightly, he had grown up in the belief that females were below males and to have one act so accordingly angered him. He hadn't minded her as beta before when she was more like one of the guys and less bitchy and sensitive.

"Me? A Bag of raging horomones? HA! Look at you." She said, eyes darting straight back at him, daring him to do something, just wanting to rip him up and put him in his place. Surely though, Xavier would have none of that, unless it was this males first move. Then it'd all be defense, none the less.

Her tail whipped back and fourth and she stood tall, her nostrils flaring as she was obviously pissed off. "Yeah? I smell Jax? And what is something like yourself; too hard headed to apologise to a lady; going to do about that?" A grin formed on her face. She grew an idea, and took a step closer. "I can see it in your eyes," She grinned. "Your jealous of Jax? Jealous that he got ahold of me first, no?" Clicking her tounge, she batted her eye lashes, looking at him as if it was an inspection. "I see no comparison anyways. What a shame; seeing a warrior like yourself sleep with a Beta. Tis a shame he one upped you; too bad you seem weaker now, unfit for a beta, no?" She purred, throwing insults in a strange, seductive way. She wasn't sure if it'd piss him off more, or what. But, she hoped to piss him off, either way.
