New Wolf Era

Kou

She shrugged, "if it were me, i'd be happy with whichever wolf you chose, but obviously would still be jealous if not chosen," she let her tail sway back and fourth, her ear twitching as a bug zoomed by. "But in all reality, love conquores all. You could always choose one, then realise its the other one who you really love..." she shrugged, "I'm sorry. Here I am sulking over having no one, your in much worse of a situation. I feel embaressed over my own problems..." she seemed weak at this point, and hated that thought. Giving a soft sigh, she wished she had more advice to give him. "Don't you wish our lives could just tell us what to do?" She gave a dry chuckle.

Kou

She giggled at the helpers comment, her eyes darting towards Deston. He was busy digging in her fur for bugs, like always. She looked back at Zorr, her smile warm. "Thankyou Zorr. I do hope everything works out for you, it seems like your heading in the right direction." She nodded to him, "just follow your heart, and ill follow mine." She smiled at him, Zorr was a wonderful Alpha. She was glad she picked Sera.

ooc: Lmao. Somewhere far away, Rai had a sneeze attack. XD Speaking of which. *pokes Zorr* Talk to Rai.

The watery female gave a laugh. "Eh, but if it was always like that, then I would be dead long before Apollo ever would be. And who'd look out for him then?" Though he was her elder by about five minutes, it was obvious that Artemis had the 'older sister' role. She tilted her head one way as if pondering between the two choices. "Yes. Deliver it while it's still fresh. And you can eat a bit, too. I could hear your stomach rumble from miles away." And that would give her time to think adn to find the next spot of prey.

Apollo

After he had said goodnight, the fire wolf stayed awake for a little bit longer, still not sure how exactly to react to the pretty female sleeping right next to him. He was still pondering when he fell into a light sleep. Apollo awoke with a start at Aeris' whimpering, but quickly shut his eyes to make it look like he was asleep. He could almost feel her eyes on him, burning two holes into his hide. When that feeling subsided, the warrior was confused to feel another, and a pair of glowing garnets revealed that her tail was touching his. He would have blushed if not for his already bright-colored fur. Boy, this was really confusing. After another few minutes of watching, the male dozed off.

The light-hearted chirping of the lark was what finally awakened Apollo, and he groggily rose from his position and streeeeeetched before collapsing in a heap again, not exactly wanting to get up, and grumbling about it. A lazy orange eye peeked out to see the psychic female standing near the cave enterance. "'Mornin'."

Aeris

A howl was chimed into her ears and she turned to look at Apollo, who had thankfully awaken. "Good morning, er.. Why is someone howling?" Aeris didn't know much of anything as to 'pack lingo' and was confused about most things that had occured. She was a quick learner though, so hopefully it wouldn't take too long to catch on. "Did you sleep well?" She said, her mannors pitching in as a smile crossed her face.

Aeris

"Oh, food?" Her stomach growled on que at the thought of food, and she smiled a bit embaressed. Hearing his next question, her ears twitched as she debated on telling him about the dream or not. "Well," She said, "I slept alright." Aeris looked away, and then sighed. "Okay, I'm lying. I slept horribly. And I'm rather sore," She glanced at Apollo, "I don't know why, something just kept me up. Not to mention, yes. I did have a bad dream, actually." She didn't realise she was actually whimpering in her sleep, that was a bit embaressing. She brushed off the heat wave that she felt, and took a deep breath, "No biggie, though." she forced a smile.

Kou

She smiled kindly at Zorr, nodding her head. "Right, I forgot the whole Alpha thing, sorry to keep you." Kou figured she needed to get back to her duties anyways. Watching him off, she finally stood and turned towards her den.

Walking as a brisk speed, she noticed that red female along the way, next to something that smelt delicious. Zorr did allow anyone to eat... hmm.. approaching, Kou smiled at the hunter. "Smells delicious, did you hunt this? I've never had one before." She stepped in and grabbed at the hide, feathers filling in her mouth as she ripped at the turkey.

Catorii

A smile crossed her face at the sound of a howl, knowing it was Zorr right away. She secretly hoped he was coming, and was surprised when rather, Kou appeared. "Oh, hello. Yes, me and Artemis took down this turkey. She's a lovely hunter," Catorii was going to do anything and everything to make Artemis head hunter, because she deserved it. "Well, we must contiinue. Ill be off, we shall return with more food. Enjoy yourself," she smiled and stood, walking off.

A little saddened by the absence of Zorr, Catorii tried to blow it off as she bounded into the woods. Following the earlier path, Catorii smiled as she saw Artemis up ahead. "I have returned," she bowed to her, her eyes sparkling with excitement to hunt once again. She prayed secretly, her eyes closing for a moment, that the fire gods would help her once again.

Catorii

She nodded her head more times than needed from her excitement. "Uh huh! Yes Artemis, Hunter of Sera!" She smiled at the water wolf, fur brushing against the females as she walked past her to venture deeper into the woods, "what are we looking for this time?" She asked, turning around with a smile upon her face.

Catorii

"Oh.. gotchya. Sooo.. anything, really?" Catorii looked around, not seeing much more than her shadow. "Hmm." She stuck her nose in a bush, but nothing. Bringing her head up, she found herself panting. Being a fire wolf, she could stand the intense heat, but that didn't mean she never got hot. Watching Artemis, she stepped back into the shade for a moment, hoping she was alright in this heat. "It must be nicebeing a water wolf, id love to jump into a pool of cool water," she smiled at her, while panting.

Sinraisei

Rai gave a curt nod in greeting before everything sagged like a marrionette as if the strings had been cut. Toshiro gave a worried look towards his mount. "Not good, I'm afraid. Lady Atra and Kuro have been asleep for months. It's been...hard for the both of us."

Artemis

The female shrugged. "I guess so. It just depends what 'anything' is, but generally, yes." She kept her trot a little slow, but even then her tongue still lolled out of her mouth. Tail swaying lightly as her partner stopped, Artemis looked over her shoulder. "I don't see a reason why you can't. I mean, fire wolves are weak in the water, but you can't really die if you keep your head up and stick to the shallows." But she had never really thought about it before. "Huh...But I guess you're right."

Aeris

A sly smile crossed her faced as he talked to her like she was retarted. Grinning, she shoved him jokingly, stepping away and flicking her tail onto his face. "I know what food is," She laughed. Hearing his next statement, she took his words into consideration. "I'll keep that in mind. Thanks, Apollo." She gave him a smile, slowly easing towards the food souce as she took small steps away from him, "Well, you hungry of what?" She asked, her smile never fading.

Artemis

Ear pricking up to the fire wolf's question, the water female paused. Hm...Her nose stuck up and she tried to get a scent. Problem was, the heat made her nose itch and her eyes water, but she would try her best. "Hold on..." she whispered, thinking that she heard something. Carefully slinking closer to the sound, she paused near a pile of leaves. Seh almost didn't notice the small rabbit until she was almost ontop of it. But it sped off, and Artemis dashed after it, not comprehending what she was doing until a few seconds after. With a mighty leap, the blue female lunged at the frightened animal and dug her fangs into its flesh. After thrashing it around for a little bit, the thing hung limply in her jaws. "Got it."

Apollo

The fire-hued wolf snickered and nipped playfully at Aeris' tail. "Well, from what I heard before, you didn't before I said something." A lopsided grin was firmly on his face Apollo's tail wagged. "Sure. Let's go eat!" Lightly snapping at the psychic wolf's flank as he bounded past, the warrior laughed and pranced about as if mocking her before trotting off, tail held high in a motion of ****iness.

Shinraisei

Thought it was barely noticeable, the white hunter shrugged and dipped his head in thanks before mimicking Zorr. He was silent, unusally so as he pondered the question. If he had visible eyes, they would have darted to meet Toshiro's. He wanted to talk himself. And so the helper shuddered, and blinked, amber eyes changing into stones of blue topaz, the color of sky. The white owl cleared his throat and moved his beak, soundlessly sounding out words before he spoke in a very rough manner. "I would let her go and be happy for her. But I would also be there if she needed me."

Aeris

She let out an annoyed, but joking huff as he nipped at her. "That's not what I meant!" She called out, a grin slowly forming on her thin lips as she pranced after him, running by his side as she nipped at his flank. "C'mon, slow poke!" She teased, trotting ahead a bit and looking back to smile at him, before turning and drifting into a full out run, her nose guiding her towards the meat. She laughed as she ran, tears forming in her eyes from the wind and tounge lollying from her mouth.

Catorii

Ready to refuse, Catoriis ears perked up and she twisted her head a bit in confusion. Order? That's strange, she hadnever been ordered to.. eat. But she accepted, lowering her head to pick the rabbit to pieces, praying to the gods at first, a slight mumble as if she was just talking to herself.

Spitting a flame onto the rabbit, she let it roast, watchhing the pieces she had taken turn into a medium rare meal. Smiling to herself, she grabbed a leg and ate the tender meat, nudging a bit towards Artemis, "ever had cooked meat?" She asked, giving her a smile.

Catorii

She lowered her ears at the decline, getting an odd vibe from the female, "oh.. okay," she said, feeling her inner being start to flame. She thought to herself, 'no, Catorii. She doesn't secretly hate you, don't. Get...mad...' she took a deep breath, and as if to cover up her odd acting, let out a burp and a fake giggle. "Well, I llove it, personally," she said as sweet as she could.. standing, she trailed away from Artemis and her pile of bones and the piece of meat she had offered. "I'll look over here," she suggested, and without another word she dissappeared.

Apollo

Apollo shook his pelt and laughed at the nip to his flank before his attitude turned childish as Aeris passed him. "Hey! No fair! I'm not a good runner!" He protested, but urged himself to a faster pace nonetheless. By the time the two had reached the food, the male was all worn out and flopped upon the ground like a bag of wet cement. "Haah, haah, I, haah, am, haah, terri-haah-ble, at haah, running," he panted, too out of breath to say anything more.

Artemis

Throwing a look over her shoulder, the water wolf frowned at the disappearance of Catorii. Was it something she said? Continuing to muse it over, Artemis caught scent of a second rabbit and darted after it, swiftly bringing it to its death. Luckily, it was larger than the one her partner had eaten, but she still would need a few more to feed the pack. And so she kept searching.

Shinraisei

The owl's blue eyes burrowed into Zorr's before they toned down a bit, as if thier owner did not realize it and just did. "Not at all. It is my duty to provide advice." The helper/wolf tried to bow, but nearly fell off his perch. "Do you have any more questions?"

Artemis

She was surprised to find Catorii back after she had dissapeared. But a fox hung from the fire wolf's jaws, so Artemis assumed that she had been hunting. "Wow. A fox. So, do you htink we have enough?"

ooc: Idk where xiana is so I'm gunna make Tyson meet some other wolves in the mean time..


Tyson

He noticed that Kuna seemed to drift to sleep, so he silently dismissed himself, wandering away into the middle of the packlands. Noticing a female eating, he approached her carefully. "Excuse me miss," He said to Kou. "Is this a pack meal?" He licked his chops,"I'm not exactly a part of the pack.. I'm on trial, but would it be alright if I have some of this? It looks.. delicious..." His voice trailed off as he watched the carcass before him. He hadn't eaten in awhile, and his stomach was rumbling.

Artmis

The huntress nodded. "Alright. Let's head on back," she gurgled behind the rabbit from her jaws. She wanted to get out of this heat and into a place where she could cool off. And so set a brisk trot for herself, knowing that she would regret it later.

Apollo
~+~
Getting some of his breath back, the fire wolf propped himself on his elbows and snapped whenever Aeris came close. "Hey, I'm a fighter, not a runner, okay? Heavywieghts don't sprint." He made a big show of rolling his eyes like the psychic wolf was just haah, that dumb.

Kou

Face-deep in meat, Kou lifted her ears as the sound of a male rang. Turning, a sliver of something bloody hanging from her mouth, Kou giggled and slurped it in like a noodle. "Oh, hi." She said, "pardon me. Where's my mannors?" She licked the blood off of her maw, sitting down to inspect him. "Tyson..was it?" She said, recalling the name but not sure if this was the wolf, she only knew of Aeris beng on trial besides him.

"Oh, yes of course! Help yourself Tyson," she smiled. He had wonderful mannors, and she appreciated that. Wtepping back a bit, as to give him room, her head turned to reveal the hunters bringing even more food. Hearing Catorii dismiss herself, she figured the fire wolf was exhausted, "great job, Girls." She commented, her tal flicking as she looked at the game. She was never a good hunter, and definatly thankful for this pack.

Shinraisei

Rai dipped his head slowly, wings softly stretching over the space on either side before folding them back up again. "You are always welcome to ask any questions, Alpha. It is my duty to help you." He was about to end the connection when Zorr asked another question. But this one was different. "How did I know?" It took a while to think about it, but finally he answered. "I'm not sure, but there was this tugging sense that somehow pulled me to her, and kept me there. You'll know the feeling, because there's nothing else like it, and you'll feel overwhelmingly happy just by standing beside her."

Artemis

As her mouth was full of rabbit, the huntress couldn't speak, but gave a slight nod to her departing companion, and dropped the game beside the others. Then she retreated, tail swishing slowly as if to cool her off.

Aeris

"Oh, so now your mister tough guy, huh?" She said, backing up at his snaps. She wasn't used to that sort of play, and it scared her a bit. Sitting down, she grinned at him for a moment, "Its okay, Mister Tough Guy. I'll get you some num nums, make you feel all better..." She couldn't help but grin at him, turning and standing to walkg towards the carcass. Seeing a fox laying by the almost destroyed turkey, she felt it was best to grab it, and carried it back towards Apollo. "Should be enough for the both of us, and then some." She figured, sitting down and letting him have at it. She was always polite, especially since she wasn't even technically in the pack yet.

Tyson

Tyson found himself nodding more heavily than expected. "Oh, I love it here. Have you met Kuna? She is a lovely wolf and has been showing me around the place. But she has been sleeping for some time now..." He couldn't help but look back at the cave, wondering how the female was doing. "What about you?" His gaze directed back towards Kou. "You been in this pack for awhile? Or are you new too?" He contently wagged his tail, loweing his body to lick the blood stained grass a few times.

Kou

She wanted to check up on this female named Kou. But she sat in place for the tme being. "Yes, I've been here for awhile and I do in fact, love it here. I'm the healer or Sera, and I'm a little concerned about Kuna. Did you know a few others of the pack have been sleeping for almost half a year now? I really need to look into what is causing this..." she lowered her head, feeling almost like a failure. "I am going to have to study this, and find out what the meaning is.." she bit her lower lip.
