New Wolf Era

Tyson

He awoke to the blazing sun shining in his eyes. What a sight, but what a shame. Nudging his helper out of the dug out cave, he slowly crawled from his warm cozy slumber. Sadly, he didn't take note of the sunrise that his hole was completly facing, which he had never seen so bright before. The beach really seemed to clear up all those trees and other obsticales in the way from this sight. Squinting, he wished his time power could push the sun out of his eyes, but that'd be more of a space power than time. Walking towards the water, he lapped up some of the rushing water as it decended back into the ocean.

"Bleck!" He shouted, sticking out his tounge in disgust, "Thats salty!"

"Well duh!" Jace laughed, "Its the beach!"

Tyson stared at the water for awhile. Life on the beach was so different from the forest. He sighed. "I don't think I like it here," He said, "Not only is it annoying and makes me feel dirty.. but no ones too social.. and I don't see that purple wolf around here either..."

He stood, grabbing Jace and tossing him up on his back. "Where too now, my friend?" He asked, walking along the shoreline for the time being.

"Aren't we ever going to settle?" Jace asked, tired from exploring. "Lets find a pack, maybe we can hang out there for a few weeks, it doesn't have to be permanent..."

Tyson sighed. He loved being a loner, but he understood that Jace was getting old, and was tired. "Alright," He said, "But first, we have to find a pack," He smiled.

Tyson

Unable to avoid conflict now, Tyson watched as a orange male approached. "Hello," He said, thrown off a little by his energy. Tyson glanced at Jace, who nudged him.

Getting the hint, he smiled at Captain, "My name is Tyson, what's yours?" He asked, sitting down as if he had all the time in the world to chit-chat.

Unable to wait for an answer, the male spoke again. "Me and Jace are looking for a pack to take refuge in for a few days. Mind pointing us in the direction, if you have any clue?" He smiled at Captain, hoping this male could help.

Tyson

As the male sat, Tyson stood. "Really? Is it far?" He smiled. A pack, a real pack! He could be in one! His tail wagged, but it quickly stopped, and he immediatly died down on his excitement.

Jace grinned. He knew Tyson was getting older, and needed to settle. No matter how much he wouldn't admit it, Jace knew Tyson had always wanted to be a part of a pack.

Tyson glanced up at Jace, hoping he didn't notice that embaressing tail wag. Puffing out his chest in attempt to be tough, Tyson grinned to himself as he listened to Captains directions, planting them in his mind.

Tyson

Ears perked as he listened, he thought about it for awhile, but then to his surprise the male seemed to just run off. Looking behind him at Jace reluctantly for a moment, he wondered if he should follow.

"Well, whatddya waitin' for?! GO!" Jace said, grabbing onto his fur to prepare for the run.

That was all Tyson needed to hear, before setting off to find Captain, following him carefully as they left the beach. He couldn't help it, adrenaline pumped through his body. What would happen in the pack? What was a pack life like? Was this his next home? It was on a matter of time, until he would know.

Farah & Eziek

"Mama, Mama!" Eziek shrieked, pouncing on his mother's shoulder to try and awake her from her slumber.

"What, Eziek?" Farah mumbled, groggily opening her eyes to look at her son.

"Are we gonna go surf'n later today?" He asked, his eyes lit up.

"Yes, let Mama sleep some more and I'll take you." She murmered before closing her eyes once more and dropping her head to her paws.

Eziek groaned but shook it off and leaped past her. "Griffin, What're gonna do till then?" He asked, planting himself down on the snowy ground and shifting back and forth.

He noticed that he started to get chilly, so Eziek decided to experiment with his newfound element that Griffin had taught him: Grow out his fur. In a matter of a few seconds, his coat had grown much thicker giving him the appearence of a long-haired sheepdog. It had started to overheat him, so he shook his fur and it all fell off in a pile around him. Leaving him with just an average length of fur on him once more.

"Mizzy will be so proud of me when she sees me today! I can't wait to show her. Griffin, you gotta meet her. She's my bestest friend ever. And, and, maybe I can find my dad and not make him lost!" He said, excietment building within him to make him ramble. He did a small circle spin and bounded towards the shore, this time not too far that he would become lost.

Eziek

Eziek was in his own small world, bounding freely across the sand when he turned to see his friend coming forward. "Mizzy!" He exclaimed, racing out to meet her. He closed his eyes at her lick on his forehead and gave her a nuzzle on her shoulder. "I missed you too. I got some exciting news to tell you, I was hope'n you'd arrive here again." He backed up to look at her. His eyes were wide and the sun had caused them to look a brighter blue.

"Mamma is relaxing in her den before she'd take me. So, I decided to explore a little again before I return to her. It's not for long and it's not too far, I know how to get back now." He said, turning his head in the direction to get back, "Plus, I've got some help to show me back." He smiled, his forked tongue giving a small flicker.

"I got me a helper now, Mizzy! Griffin. I wanted you to meet him." He smiled, looking around for his helper. The orange Oriole shifted from underneath Eziek and tilted his head. "Hiya, your the Mizzy-wolf?" Griffin said, not used to being around a larger wolf.

Eziek smiled brightly, "Mamma tells me that I'm an ana...anatommic...anatoma...a-na-tom-ical wolf." He said, having difficulty at first but beaming proudly. His tail wagged back and forth.

"How was the forest? Did you find my papa? Is it like the beach?" Eziek rambled in a pup-like bark, pressing his front paws into the ground every so often in enthusiasm.

Enki

Walking onto the beach was a whole new feeling that was different than last time. Same beach, different emotions now. He knew Damon would be itching to run in the sand, so he bent down and allowed him to jump off, "welcome to the beach," he smiled at Damon, nodding silently as he watched his sons expression. He glanced over to Avery, nodding from her last comment, he understood she was stressed, hell he was stressed too. Good thing this was taking place on a beach though, because it was atleast.. a little relaxing.

He didn't see Farah around, but he knew where she would be. Beginning to head down the shore, he kept a close eye on Damon, wishing every step could be backwards, but he couldn't wuss out now.

Enki

He grinned at his son, laughing as he hopped. Eventually he set off again, walking and looking back, "let's head this way," he smiled, hopping like his son was playfully and laughing as he ran with his boy. He pushed him over then fell over himself, careful to not hurt his little man, but playfully growling.

Farah

Farah blinked her eyes open and looked out to notice that Eziek had left once more. She sighed, oh how could she handle that energenic pup. She shifted up to her paws and walked slowly around her small clearing. He was probably near the shore again with his adult friends trying to learn how to surf. She smiled faintly, what would she do when he grew up. In no time, he would be old enough to leave home in a few months. The thought of him leaving broke her heart. She would be alone in the world once more.

Farah sighed and shifted her paws back and forth into the sandy-soil. After only seeing him for one time almost a year ago, Farah knew deep down that Enki would not show and her pup would never meet his father. But, Farah would keep on waiting until he returned, however long that would be. Forever, maybe? Why was she crazy enough to wait, Farah could make little sense of it.

Damon/Avery

Damon giggled as Enki played with him. He whipped his little body around in the sand and barked at Enki, playfully wagging his rump in the air.

Avery smiled as she watched them play. Reminded her of the good old days her and Enki shared. She sighed shaking those out of her mind. "We close?" She asked, anxious to get this over with. "Enki, I know this is going to be ahrd for you. But I just want you to know...whoever you choose...I-I'll always love you. And I'll understand..." She said sincerely, hoping the words meant something to him.

Avery/Damon

Damon laughed and stood back on his feet and attacked Enki's giant paw. He grinned when he saw another pup playing with what looked to be his mother. Getting shy, Damon walked in between Enki's two front paws.

Avery gave Enki a soft smile. "I understand, I just...nevermind." She continued to walk and her face flushed as he licked her cheek. "Enki, I could never hate you. No matter what you did there is no way I could ever hate you. You gave me this little guy, and he is the best thing that's ever happened to me." Avery watched the two playing, there was something about the male pup that caught her eyes though but she didn't know what it was.

Avery/Damon

Avery gave him a loving smile. "No problem, I know how hard this situation is for you. I'm just trying to take some of the pressure off of your shoulders." As Farah's pink coat came into view she gulped and slowed her pace.

Damon continued to walk in between his dad's paws and noticed his dad knew this pink female who they were approaching. If his dad knew this female, he knew she couldn't be bad. "Farah! Farah!" He repeated Enki's words. Damon wanted to meet his dad's friend.

Avery's eyes widened at Damon and she shot Enki a look. She took a deep breath and calmed her nerves. She stayed back a little as if to give the two some space. She felt, well, how do you describe it? awkward.

Avery/Damon

Avery smiled awkwardly as Enki turned their attention to her. "H-Hi Farah. Nice to finally meet you." She gave her a gentle smile, hoping she wouldn't judge her. She wanted this to be as peaceful as possible.

Damon's head lookded up at his dad in confusement. Two sons? From what he remembered he was an only child. "I have a brother?" Damon asked looking up at Enki. He didn't understand how this could be. His mom only had him, his little head couldn't process this complicated situation.

Avery walked closer and over to her son, an attempt to take some of the pressure off Enki's shoulders. "Honey, yes. You have a half-brother." She told him.

"Half?" He asked tilting his head to the side, still confused.

"Yes, honey. Don't worry about it. You'll understand when you're older." Avery spoke to him.

Damon shrugged his little shoulders and nodded. Hey, maybe his new brother could be his best friend. He wanted a friend to play with.

Eziek

Eziek spotted a wolf couple in the distance playing with their son. He smiled, hoping that when he would find his father that his whole family would be like that. Eziek's eyes sparked seeing that the wolf was green. Was it..? Hope swelled in him, but then his papa wouldn't be with another wolf and have another pup. So, it obviously wasn't his father.

Eziek's attention turned to look at Mizuki, forgetting all about the wolves in the distance again. A genuine smile appeared, making his face lit up at Mizuki saying she was proud of him. His extremely long fangs gave his smile almost a larger looking smile. "Thank you, Mizzy!" He exclaimed, rubbing his head against her leg. As she ruffled his head, Eziek decided to sink underneath her paw and look up at her. He let out a small bark, "I think that you'd make a good mama. If I didn't have a mama, I would want you to be my mama."

Avery

Avery's eyes widened at Farah's words towards her. Who did she think she was? To judge her like this? Avery pulled Damon close to her and covered his ears with her paws so he didn't hear the foul language. "E-Excuse me? Did you call me what I think you just called me?" She shook her head, her eyes wide with horror. "You are misunderstood. Enki was the first wolf I have ever loved in my life. And I'm sorry Farah but I didn't even know you existed until he told me and it was already too late." Avery gulped trying to keep the peace, but she still needed to defend herself. "Don't think he knew my son for long, he just met him yesterday. I had to go through birthing and nursing him alone just like you because he wasn't there. He was afraid and didn't want to be a father so he ran away. But once he met this little bundle of joy he knew he was ready and wanted to meet his other son too." Avery's eyes gave Farah a confused look as she turned over into a submissive position. "We're not going to hurt you or your son Farah. Enki just wants to be in both of their lives. Eziek is his name? That's a nice name. He deserves to know who his father is. I know this is hard, I wasn't expecting this either but please don't judge me if you don't know anything about me. We both want what's best for our sons, and that is to try to have as complete a family as possible."

enki

Enki lowered his ears, he knew all of this was coming, but he didn't realise how much it was going to hurt. "I, I -I know. B-but I only met my son yesterday, and and, a-and I. Came to be a father.. I ran away after seeing Eziek, I wasn't ready, and I left.. left both of you to fend on your own. I-I know I messed up. And I'm sorry.. sorry to both og you," he lowered his head, not realising how much pain this really was, in fact, he was even bearing a few tears..

Farah

Farah said nothing, narrowing her eyes accordingly as Avery spoke. Oh, she didn't know what she was talking about. Farah already knew that by the way this wolf spoke, that she had lived a pretty-perfect life until Enki screwed them both over. If it was Enki's way, she knew he would've stayed with Avery and his pup and never thought twice about her. That was the way of life, well, his life. Oh, how she was stupid to fall for and get involve with such a wolf.

"Don't speak or defend him, he's a big wolf. If he can get other's pregnant, then I'm sure he could talk it out." She murmured under her breath, moving closer to the tree as if she wished to escape. Her eyes were on Enki, he did nothing but sit there sulking and allowed this pretty female to defend him. How he had gotten weak. When they spent time on the beach, Enki readily defended Farah and made sure she wasn't afraid when the other wolves were around. She looked at Enki once more, "Who are you, your not the Enki, I knew." She whispered in a hurt voice, her eyes were still angry but held a more searching look.

At his statement, she narrowed her sea-green eyes. "Fend for ourselves, your damn right. I'm lucky he's alive, he was terribly sick and I had to help nurse him back. Almost like the other pup that didn't make it. Unlike your significant other, over there. I smell the strong pack-scent that other wolves carried when visiting occasionally." She looked past the wolves and noticed a blur of white and green. So, her pup was with Mizuki: safe. She let out a small relieved sigh, but quickly hid it. "Sorry, Enki? Sorry doesn't cut it."

Eziek

Eziek's green ears twitched at the sound of a raised voice and his element allowed him to know the fear scent and pounding heart his mother held from the distance. He lifted his head. "Mama?" He asked aloud, looking up at Mizuki. Eziek turned his head to see his mother cornered by the wolf family that he had spotted earlier. Fear sparked in his bright blue eyes, they expanded. He didn't know what to do, he wanted to go over there and help his mother. But, the wolves were too big and too many of them.

He wanted to call out to his mother, but Mizuki turned and pushed him away. He turned his head over his shoulder to look at them. "Mizuki, what's going on? What's happening?" He asked in a soft whine, his eyes growing watery. He padded off in the direction of Captain, but kept looking back to make sure his mother was okay while looking up at Mizuki for some kind of comfort.

Farah

Farah watched as Enki started to grow angry, the same anger she saw about their first meeting. She stayed quiet and withdrew completly, no more anger. Well, it was all pent up inside. Now, it was just cowardness. She wished that this was just a dream and flee, but it wasn't. It was real-life once more. She shook her head. Avery, an innocent wolf that he took advantage of? Interesting how he seemed to pity her more than Farah. For Farah had shared the same story...An innocent wolf that fell in too deep with him to the point of being used.

At his harsh tone, especially to wanting to see his son. She shook her head, "N...No," was all that she could say. But, did he really think that he would just walk here and be able to go in happy-land where everything was great after all his mistakes? No. It wouldn't happen. Especially since she believed Enki and this Avery-wolf was a threat to her son and she would do anything to defend that.

Farah slowly scooted over to the side to be besides the tree, instead of being cornered. Her eyes darted to the side. Maybe she could escape, run the other way to get far enough to escape these wolves and maybe give them the false hope that she would lead them to Eziek, the exact opposite of where she was going.

Farah

Farah watched him, her gaze unwavering. Her ears remained flat against her head as he body remained tense. He spoke of never hurting her. How could she trust him? Half the wolves that told her that they wouldn't hurt her, ended up actually doing so. What would make him different? He promised to return and stay, that was another broken one.

She shook her head, keeping her eyes casted downward. Her mind was racing and she didn't know what to do.

Enki

As Avery walked away, Enki nodded to her and his eyes locked on Farah. He approached, but only a few steps so he didn't have. To talk loudly to her. Now, he said down, and then lowered himself into a laying position. Looking up at her, he sighed.

"What you said earlier.. about me being different? You were right.." he paused, taking a deep breath and still looking at her, "I am different, but its not the different way you think of me.." he got a little comfy, trying to make the situation as unstressful as possible. "I was a male, looking for action, not love, not pups, not a family. I wanted action, and only action." He said, ashamed of himself, but trying to be as honest as possible. "And I've hooked up with more wolves in my life time, and nothing like this has ever happened." He closed his eyes,

"Can't say I've ever fallen in love with two wolves, until now." He hated that love word, but it was the only way he could describe his feelings towards Avery and Farah.

"Once I found out you had a pup, Farah.. I ran. I hid out on the mountains for months, got in a few fights even, in hope they'd take that death swipe at me. But then something told me to check on you and Avery, I don't know why.. instinct? So yesterday I showed up at Averys, figuring id stick around a good 10 minutes, check up on everything, and then become a father like I should have, and meet my son." He lowered his head.

"It wasn't the easiest encounter when I walk into a den that holds a pup I didn't even know about..." he sighed again, even though it was hard to talk about, he had to make Farah understand...

"Farah, I completly understand why your mad, hell Averys mad too but everything happened and I can't change anything. All I know now, is that I love you and Avery.. and I can't be with both of you.. and I can't hurt either of you any more than I have, so I'm stuck." He sat up, inching a little bit closer to her, his stomach twisting from all of this pressure.

"And now that I somewhat have a straight head, and I've learned from my stupid horomones, and my stupid mistakes, all I want to do now is makeup for the time I've missed, I understand if you hate me.. but I still want to be a Father and show my son how he should act, and have him not end up like me.. and that's why I brought Avery and Damon, I want no lies in this large mess, and I want my boys to learn how to be loyal.. Farah I am sorry, I really wish we never met so I would never hurt you like this, and same with Avery.."

He lowered his head at that time, but then spoke up, once more.

"But at the same time... I wouldn't want to change a thing. Look at the outcome, sure, its messed up but now they're two beautiful pups from two beautiful mothers who have done a wonderful job keeping the circle of life going.. and I hope you wouldn't take it back either, honestly, because I don't know where id be if I never met you, Farah.."

He really didn't know, and now he didn't know how'd she rfespond. If she hated him, it would hurt, but he'd have to accept it.. he messed up big time.. and now he just wanted everyone happy, and if him being on her hate list made her happy, he'd let it go, after a small fight of hope of course.. he looked at her, his eyes glossy from the stress, but a small smile, because he couldn't help being happy when he was around her..

Eziek

Eziek tilted his head, noticing that it was one of the wolves that were with his mother. His ears flattened against him and he looked up to Mizuki and Captain. Seeing as they thought the white wolf and her pup were fine, then they must be fine! Besides, he hadn't been around any wolves near his own age. He gave a yip and nodded his head, "Sure!"

He lowered himself into a crouched position, his tail was up high in the air wagging around. He flashed a devious smile and flickered his forked tongue. Eziek leaped at Damon, trying to get him off balance before he would try and run around the white wolf, hoping the pup would chase.

Griffin fluttered up and down in excitment, "Go Eziek!" He hollered, giving an encouraging caw.

Eziek

Eziek stood back up besides Damon, pawing at the green wolf occasionally as he was in his playful stance. Eziek got knocked down, rolling over onto his side and shaking his head to allow his ears to flop back and forth. He pushed away to avoid some of the nips.

"Eziek," He replied back with a smile, before nipping at his tail with small barks and before running around Avery, stopping to peek from underneath her to see Damon.

Farah

Farah watched him, listening quietly as he spoke. Occasionally, she would give a few small nods in acknowledgement but her eyes were always casted on the ground. It never met up with Enki's blue eyes. As he inched closer to her, Farah inched away from him. She gave a slow shake of the head. "Y-you don't love me, Enki. You might think you do, but you don't. I can tell," She murmered softly, her eyes casted downward. She may not still have her element, but she was good enough at guessing based off of past experiences of seeing wolves in love. His was more of a lust, since their first meeting. She hadn't recieved the same look that he gave her the first meeting.

Hearing his next statement about wishing that they never met. Farah felt her chest contort. "Enki, I've dealt with a lot of hurt in my lifetime...it's life. I-I just somehow always end up with it, no matter what new life I try to posses or create."

She mentally scoffed as he called her beautiful. She was in no way beautiful. The scars, the ratted ears, lanky body and stubby tail were not the definition of pretty. His other wolf, Avery, was. She was everything that Farah wasn't. No wonder Enki ran off to be with her.

"...My son is the only thing that keeps giving me hope. That and seeing you return once more to be with us. But, waiting for your return kind of screwed me over with that. I just fear Eziek will leave me when he grows older, giving me nothing to look forward to the rising sun." She whispered, mainly to herself, shuddering at the thought.
