New Wolf Era

Anastasia Reznov

Her head immediatly snapped in the direction of a yellow wolf with fur that stood upright. "Excuse me?" She asked. Anastasia had heard right, she just was wondering if she had heard correctly that someone was addressing her in this manner. Never had a wolf done so and she looked extremely shocked by such an act. All she could do in that moment was scoff and thrash her head from side to side, lifting her chin up to the air and her ears fell back to press against her head.

"I am of royalty, that already marks me of holding more class than all of you. You are a brave wolf, peasant too, I presume, to talk to me in such manner. Belittle me all you want, It means nothing. No burden on my shoulders. Besides, there is no such manner as friends and my life goal isn't to form such alliences that will just come back to haunt me in the end." She put lightly, her voice holding a darkness in it but she was raised proper. Anastasia knew very well how to speak and not feed into outbursts such as his own.

Anastasia gave snort before flickering her tail, she ended up walking away from the group away from them. They were blocking the one entrence that could easily be tracked back outside these catacombs. However, her pride wouldn't allow herself to push through, so she went the other way.

Anastasia wandered onward, faultering a few times as the cave was dusty in certain areas. She was mumbling under her breath, spewing out angry thoughts. No doubt, Anastasia was lost once more. Her helper was lost somewhere that she didn't know of. And appearently, friendless. Then again, the wolf never held one friend besides her old babysitter. That sparky wolf was wrong! But, she couldn't help but shed a tear over the thought and in frusteration. She shook her head, trying to control her emotions once more to be the perfect image of a Princess once more as she was raised.

Varl

Varl yelled after the stubborn so called "Princess" "PRIVELIDGE GOES TO THOSE THAT DESERVE IT!! DON'T FORGET THAT!!" Varl sighed then turned to the others, "She will learn the hard way guys, its a shame she won't heed the warnings now."



Roulette

Her tail simply flicked back and fourth as the 'princess' continued to freak out. She would have spent that valuable time wasted catching up with her dear friend, Lykken, but apparently the male was prone to following the princess to wherever the hell they had gone. This was slightly disappointed, the drama was just starting to get good. And, they all had said she was their friend, which made her feel even more special.

She perked up at Varl, and sat down to applaud him. "Good job, sticking up for your own rights." She giggled, "Now then, it seems as though us peasants have the claim of these beautiful gems.." She grinned, eyes reviewing the wonders of the shiny-things.

Kera

The ice wolf jumped up and growled in a mixture of pain and surprise, how had she been completely oblivious to the other wolf? The only possibility is that she had fallen asleep, perhaps more exhausted from her travels than she initially thought.

In her surprise she had managed to dislodge Bono from her back, the small harlequin duck practically submerged in the snow, it's little feet desperately trying to turn himself up right. Kera couldn't help but be slightly in awe of the new wolves appearance, it didn't take a genius to guess which element she was in control of. Which made her wonder what she was doing out in the snow, Kera always thought that wolves associated with a certain habitat, stuck to it.

"Watch where you're treading." She muttered, trying to crack her back whilst stay on the defensive as she did so. Her darker green eyes watching the new wolf "What are you doing running in and out of caves anyway?" 

Kera

Kera didn't even attempt a smile at her comment, her social skills were, in a way, lacking to say the least. Eventually Bono managed to make himself upright once more and flapped his wings to rest on the ice wolf's back, tilting his head in curiosity at the earth wolf, whilst carefully pruning his feathers to get rid of pieces of ice and snow.

"It's a mountain. Covered in snow. There are no paths." She muttered, sneering slightly "It's typical, two blissful weeks of no one else, yet I had to keep moving, now when I finally get a chance to rest... what is an earth wolf doing up in the mountains, if that is what you are, I thought you all frolicked with the daisies in the meadows and woods?"

Roulette

She nodded happily, looking at Bently for a moment with a shy smile before turning to follow the path they had created. "We should compare gems in the light, I found some magnificent ones!" She stated, looking back and giving a giggle.

But, as always, she made a head count and noticed Fern was missing. Eyes wide, she realised Fern may have slipped out from all the commotion. "Fern!" She shouted, looking around. "Fern, where are you?" She looked at the two boys, with a scared eye. "What if something happened to her? did anyone see where she went?" She had an unlucky feeling about the misfortunate event.

Kera

Kera smirked at this comment, ignoring her helper completely, however Bono himself couldn't seem to keep his beak shut.

"Well maybe if your silly earth wolf could use her nose and watch where she's going she wouldn't tred on us! I mean honestly wolves these days seem to have no care for anything, they barely look after themselves let alone each other, just coming and going as they pleased without wondering who's there or who's in the way, I mean back where I came from you..." Kera cut the duck off with a growl, twisting her back so that he fell off and landed in the snow again, his muffled voice still slightly audible from underneath the snow.

"Seriously if you learnt to shut up one day maybe I wouldn't have to keep moving areas... and maybe I wouldn't be so exhausted." She snapped.

Not only did her duck keep her up all the time with his chattering, but he always seemed to say the wrong things to the wrong wolves. She had been lucky the past few weeks that she hadn't come across any, yet before that she had attempted to join a pack. Bono had overheard some pups talking and completely misunderstood their conversation, deciding that he should take it into his own to teach them a lesson. He was lucky Kera had intervened before he was eaten, however with the pups being the children of the alpha, her first impressions didn't go down well, so she was sent packing by the order of a group of snapping teeth.

OoC:// Sorry... Kera's not a nice character :( I have my nice one Halio so I kind of have to counteract it, she can be sweet if you get to know her I swear!

Roulette

Seeing as though no one seemed to respond to her freaking-out about Fern, Roulette sighed, "I guess I'll go look for her." The boys must be gem-crazy or something.

"I'll be on our path." She said, nodding to the males, even though they had completly ignored her and probably weren't listening now.

Setting off, Roulette followed the path.. God, it was long. At this rate, it would take days to find sunlight again. She sighed, knowing it was best for her to be alone; she really didn't have the best luck with patience, or having friends. 

Fern


She was done arguing with the stubborn ice wolf and she started to wander down the mountain some when then she noticed two other green wolves and she sensed that one was earth, she could just tell by the similar vibes he was giving off. she dove into a bush and just stared at them for awhile. She then popped her head our and said "Allo!"

Eziek

With a content nod of his head, Eziak allowed his gaze to follow up the trail up to the very peak of the mountain. It was a high mountain, probably the largest out of the chain. He wondered how many wolves were able to cross it since it looked like a long trek followed with icy winds as you met closer to the top. Suddenly, he heard the rustling and his head immediatly turned in that direction.

He would've spoke, but kept himself at a hush to indicate what could have made such a sound. There was the familiarity beat of a heart, not too fast to be considered a small mouse but not too slow of that of a bumbling bear. Before he had time to recognize, a green head popped out with what looked like a wreath around her head.

Upon hearing the rude tone of his father toward the newcomer, Eziek stepped forward to gently bump his shoulder into his father as a gentle shove. "Hello there, are you from around here?" He asked humbly. She held a different dialect in which he didn't recognize.

Eziek

"Fern." Eziek repeated her name, tasting the sound of it rolling off his tongue. She must've been named after the plant that grew around the forest floor. Her fur color and decorative style would confirm that belief.

So, she wasn't from around here. Eziek gave a small wag of his tail, showing curiousity and himself at ease around Fern. "Did you come from past the mountains?" He asked, going back to his main thought from earlier before they met her. He jerked his muzzle in the direction of the mountains as if emphasis his question.

"I am Eziek." He introduced, puffing out his chest in boldness. His forked tongue flickered out as if to taste the air before turning to look at his father. "And he's Enki."

Eziek

He got thrilled as he was correct about his assumptions. "Was it a long journey, I mean, going through those harsh weathers?" He asked, suddenly extremely interested. His tail started wagging, not noticing that his father was leaving his side to venture farther away. He blinked back as Fern called out to Enki, who was much farther up now. Looking bewildered as to why Enki was leaving, Eziek hesitated about following after him. But, he stopped and howled out to him.

"Where'ya going?"

Eziek

Eziek watched as his father walked up the mountain. He shrugged, there was a lot to see up here. No doubt he saw something. But, Eziek decided to follow after and he was sure Fern had been around to know the way if they got lost. Eziek gave a small bark and trotted after Enki and Fern. It was easy to catch up to the female, but would take more time to catch up to Enki.

Bentley


He yawned and stepped out into the sun, the group had slept through most of the winter in that cave but it seemed like some of the other's have left, like Fern and Varl. "I think the other's have left Roulette, well that's what happens when you are a loner, friends leave and then we will see them again." He explained to her. "The beach sounds very nice right now though." He said but then blushed as she mentioned Bluejay. "Ey, I bet she has forgotten allll about me." He said as he started to make his way down the mountain side.

Bentley


He laughed and chased after her, "I don't think there was love at all, I barely knew her, nothing really happened!" He said as he began to blush more. He finally caught up with her, "Oh, I'm sure you'll find a mate someday...You are a very attractive and fun lass." He said with a smile.

Eziek

He allowed his father to venture farther up, noticing he seemed determined about something by his expression and long stride. He wasn't bothered, keeping his own pace an upbeat one. Besides, he enjoyed talking to Fern.

"I'm farther south, near the beach. It's quite the ways away." He explained, starting to grow mildly homesick of the other loners there. It was nice having his dad with him at all times, learning all about him and the skills that Enki could provide. However, he missed the others: Mizuki, Masika, Captain and that growing family that resided there.

He gave a deep-hearted chuckle. "No, not Earth. Anatomical..." He trailed on before leaping to help Fern up and make sure she was stable once more. "Didn't break anything, so you should be alright." He announced.

Anastasia Reznov

"Thou were talking about what?" Anastasia asked confused, ending her quick worded tangent. She tilted her head before returning it back to it's original position. Her eyes instantly caught to the gem that he picked up. Her eyes glittered like stars as she daintly approuched it, keeping her composure from grabbing it and cherishing it.

"A gem! What's this doing out here? Those mutts inside wouldn't let me have mine." She lifted her nose up with a gentle exhale. "Why thank you, good sir. Do tell me the name of such a kind gent." She asked, pressing forward toward him in curiousity. At least someone was giving her the respect she needed around on this selfish world.

Anastasia grinned at him. "Sobek, surely you would know that he is my helper. He's a toucan, colorful, little bird. I do worry about him, him being gone for so long."
