Avery returned the smile and looked over at Remy.
"Well, it was good until you started poking me, now my dinner might end up like Avery's if you poke me again!" He said with a smirk. Avery laughed and pulled her helper close to her.
"Oh Remy, you know he's just kidding with you. Calm down."

He nodded, "sorry Remy," he chuckled, and watched the penguin agaijn. Now trying to get some practice in, he attempted to copy the penguins looks. Focusing on him, somehow he did it, perfect for the very first time. Looking himself over, he lifted his blue flippers in the air, the only noticable difference from him and Remy being his necklace that always stayed around his neck.

Remy looked Kanji over, who was now identical to himself. "Damn, I be lookin' fine! Just need to cut a few pounds here and there."
Avery couldn't contain her laughter. "You guys are so cute!" She poked both of their chubby bellies and giggled. "Nice job Kanji, you really got it down."

He laughed at the poke, "hey, that does tickle!" He laughed, waddling over to Remy, and poking him in the belly, "yeah, I like this penguin form. Its easy, simple, and cute." He laughed, "but what else do penguins do besides waddle?" He asked, wondering more about them so he could pull it off if he ever needed too.

Remy thought for a moment. "Well, I find it fun when Ave here makes me some ice to slide around on. It's fun to slide on my belly on the ice," He explained.
Avery smiled and made a small patch of ice on the lake before them. "There you go."
"Thanks!" Remy grinned and waddled over to the edge. "If you ever fall into the water, with these wings you can glide through the water really fast." He waddled onto the ice and plopped onto his belly and slid across it and into the water. He bobbed his head out and smiled up at them. "You try!"

He watched remy, a little nervous, "uhh," he said, walking onto the ice, and looking down at it,"alrightt.." he said nervously, pushing off the ground and sliding on his belly, he quickly started laughing, "oh my god!" He laughed, before plopping into the water. He resurfaced and laughed, "wow! That's fun!" He said, "penguins rock!"

Avery shook her head at him. "Yeah, yeah."
Remy laughed and swam back to the shore and slid across the ice again and into the water, splashing Kanji in the process.

He watched Avery, "come join us!" He shouted to her, before being shoved into the water, he came up laughing and coughing, "oh I'm getting you for that!" He called, chasing after remy and slide-tackling him into the water.

Avery was about to get up, but the nausea came back. "Er nevermind. It's back again..." She sighed and leaned her head on her paws. She watched as her helper and the shape shifter played in the water and she smiled.
Remy grinned as he was tackled into the water, but didn't come up this time. Instead he was gliding along the depths of the lake. He came up for air after a while and grinned. "We also can hold our breaths, for quite a while."

He looked over at Avery, quite concerned. But then turned to see Remy gone for some time, "oh, really? Cool! So much to learn.." he smiled as the penguin spoke, then turned back to Avery. He looked down at the ice, and grabbed a loose piece with his flippers. Walking over to her, he held it up on her head, standing on his tip toes. "Better?" He askedd, knowing she liked the ice, he hoped it helped.

Avery smiled down at his attempt to help her. "Much," She laughed and poked his belly. The land below her froze into snow, and she smiled to herself at the coldness of it. It comforted her, and made her feel a little better.
Remy waddled out of the water and looked up at Avery. "Hope you get better soon, I'm to small to take care of ya," He admitted.
"Don't worry, I'll be fine." But the thing was, she honestly didn't know if she wa going to be fine, and this scared her.

So that's what the commotion was about. She thought and shook her head at him. "No, I didn't even know Sera members had trespassed onto our lands...I wish I knew so I could have helped..." She sighed, guilt washing over her once again.
Remy coughed and thought of the possibilites. Then something horrible washed over him. The sudden realization of the outcome hit him hard. He couldn't tell Avery now though, not in front of Kanji.

He looked at her oddly, "oh.. uh, well Kenpachi killed a pups mom, and Zane stole a moms pup," he said, filling her in. He changed back into a wolf, getting a bit tired. Sitting next to her, he spoke, "sera came, did you know the alphas are brothers? Well they hate each other, and they returned that pink pup.. but Zane wouldn't give the dark wolves pup back," he said, "sera left, but I fear they won't be gone for long."

Avery nodded taking in all this information she had missed. She was out having fun, while her pack was invaded. She was really angry with herself. "Oh no...I didn't know that. I have a feeling this isn't going to turn out very well..." She sighed and looked over at Kanji, who was now back in his wolf form a bit worried. "What if a war breaks out?"

He gave the penguin a confused look, then looked back at her, "ill hunt for you," he smiled, Nd before she could answer, he charged off. He could use this as a learning experience, just like fishing.

Now using time to study, he watched the fox sniff around, looking for a bit to eat. Taking a mental note, he finally attempted to change himself into a fox also, and approached the female fox.

"Well hello, foxy," Kanji said, smiling at her, "how's a foxy lady like you doing around here," he grinned.

The fox lifted its head, and smiled back, "not tooo bad, yourself? Your pretty handsome, might I add," the fox aid, walking up to him and rubbing against his side, "wanna have some fun?" She said, seductivly.

Kanji smiled,his bushy fox tail wagging, "sure, baby. Just turn around and let me have you," he nipped at her lovingly.

She turned, and Kanji transformed into a wolf, launching at her and killing her instantly by the throat. "Note to self, foxes are very sexual," he said, carrying the dead fox back to Avery.

Avery smiled as she watched Kanji come back with a dead fox in his mouth. "Wow that was fast! How'd you do that?" She asked, really impressed. This urge to eat began to overwhelm her thoughts and actions. "Gimme that!" She said before grabbing it out of Kanji's mouth. She dug in devouring the meat down like an animal.
Remy's eyes widened as he watched her pig out. "Avery..."
Avery looked up and then down at the fox. She quickly whiped the blood from her maw and gave him a toothy grin. "Ehem...Sorry about that. Thank you, Kanji."

Avery blushed, embarassed at how hungry she was. It felt as if she haden't eaten in days. She laughed at how he had caught the fox but then her whole body froze. Those words made her remember, what had happened last night. With Enki. Oh no. She thought and her heart began to race in her chest. She was beginning to show all the signs and it was finally coming clear to her. She glanced down at her stomach, panic overwhelming her. She stood to her paws and dashed into her den without saying anything. She curled up into a ball in her den and cried softly into her paws. The thought of being pregnant scared the hell out of her.

Avery curled up tight and covered her face, which was covered with tears. "Let's just say...I...I made a very big mistake." She began to cry into her paws again.
Remy quickly made his way over to her and stroked the top of her head. He knew as well as she did what the matter was. "Kanji, I think we should leave her alone. She needs some time to herself," He said nodding and began to exit the den, beckoning for him to follow.

Naomi

Naomi watched her little ones before seeing Aiden go over to comfort Yachiru. The ice wolf started to pant as the sun was hitting her in the back which caused her to warm up. Walking farther into her icy cave, she peered and watched her pups play. Before long, a pine marten snuck in and scampered over to the blue and white wolf easily as it was used to walking on ice.

"Naomi..." She whispered before peering over at the new pups. "Are they...?" She asked, cutting off and looking wide eye at her wolf.

"Yes, Opal," Naomi sighed, it was all she could say to her helper. She was the only other critter that knew about what had happened. The marten nodded her head and pressed close to Naomi for comfort and watched from the distance at the wolves.

He let out a releived breath, and watched Remy go. "Well, if you need me let me know," he said, walking away slowly. Yet again, he was pushed out of something, and left with nothing to do. "This happened a lot in packs, huih Bandit?" Kanji said, approaching bandit who was resting in the den. "What does, Kanji?" He asked,

As a matter of fact, instead of wasting time I could teach you some more stuff about us penguins, if you'd like," Remy offered. He felt bad for asking Kanji to leave her alone, but it was best. Remy chuckled, "I know enough to know that you don't need this!" He laughed and grabbed Kanji's wolf tail. He waddled over to the water. "Well, first things first. If you're gonna survive as a penguin, you need to learn how to catch a fish," He explained. "Watch me." Remy dove into the water and glided along the bottom, until he spotted a fish and swam after it. He grabbed it in his beak and resurfaced, swallowing it whole. "We also can't exactly chew, so we can swallow 'em whole!"

He blushed as he noticed the tail, and quickly thought of a penguins, removing it. Turning nto see him swallow the fish whole, he made a face. "Ew, okay, note to self, don't be a penguin when your hungry," he said, laughing and diving into the water. "What kinda fish do you eat?" He asked.

Something told Kanji that he shouldn't be rude and let Averys helper go help Avery, instead of him. "I'm gunna work with my helper for a big," he grinned, now turning into a sugar glider, his first form he ever shifted into, and had perfected it. "See ya around!" He waved his webbed arm at the penguin, before gliding off towards Bandit.

The otter saw something swimming though the water and identified it as a penguin. He had taken a break from Aiden and had gone off to the gulf but he was back now. he needed to be around Aiden he just had wanted to explor but Aiden had settled down. He watched these two penguins then finally climbed out of the water and watched them with his black eye's. He grinned his canines visable then said "Hi guy's!"

He haulted in his sugar glider form and looked at the otter, "interesting!" He said, circling it before attempting to copy, "hello.! What are you?" Kanhi had never seen an otter before, it was something. He copied it though, standing infront of it with his own otter shaped body, the only difference being the penguin tail, kanji was never good at tails.

He smiled and said "Well in the water we love to just play. He love catching fish but mostly we like shell fish. Like this." He dove into the water and came up with a crayfish. he cracked it open with his teeth and began chewing on the animal. "We also like to sun bathe it's really nice to lay in the sun..But we can sleep on the water too. if there's kelp we wrap ourselves in it and sleep there so we don't float away."
