Birth Month: May Gender: Female Element: Shapeshifting Physical Description: With her large, tall, and well toned body, Maybelle almost seems boyish at first. It’s only when you look at her face that it becomes obvious she’s a female. Her features are narrow and full, her eyes a bright chrome color. Spiky lines bridge off her pupil, it seems, almost making them look like pinwheels, rather menacing, yet oddly giving her an exotic beauty at the same time. Her base coat color is an ashy brown. Charcoal black-gray dusts over her back, sides, and the top of her tail, interrupted by little tornado shaped striped of the base coat here and there. Her underside is silver, and so is the tip of her tail, though the black overlaps the top of it. The same silver appears on her ears and over the bridge of her muzzle. Bands of black are found on all four of her legs and her eyes have patches of charcoal gray-black over them, the tornado like lines spinning off of them. Personality: Maybelle is generally very down to earth. She’s easygoing and takes everything as it comes, very good at going with the flow. She’s a sweetheart who loves her family and is very loyal. May knows where she comes from, and she’s proud of it. On the contrast she’s also quite crazy. Maybelle is fearless, and is a complete and total social butterfly. She isn’t afraid to go up and greet someone, and doesn’t quite know the meaning of reservation. She can keep secrets, sure, but when it comes to meeting someone new, she’s all over it with the hello’s and names and such.
She’s a hard worker and takes orders very well, having no problem with being told to do something. May might as well not know how to talk back, because she never, ever does, being too polite. The only exception to this is if she’s mad… and boy will you know. A Maybelle-is-mad moment is far from a good moment. She rampages, it’s about the only word you can use to describe it. History: Born to the Rauxauld family, one thing that just sticks out about Maybelle is her eyes. “Pinwheel eyes” they’re called, and just about everyone with Rauxauld blood has them. Maybelle lived a relatively normal life up until she was told the story of her uncle, Lyre Rauxauld. He had mated with a member of the Wyrzyk family, who were about as big of a name as they were in the forest they inhabited. The one child they had together had in the end been his downfall. May didn’t care much, well aware of her Uncle’s perverse and unfaithful ways, as told by about anyone who had known him. Curious to find more about her roots, Maybelle set off to the Wyrzyks, and it was there that she met Avalon, who was visiting her family.
Curious to learn more about her cousin, Maybelle decided to tag along when Avalon set out to travel again. Normally a down-to-earth family girl, it was odd behavior for May, but she was lured by the idea of getting to know her cousin, the only link that strung together two renowned families, and a good shot to see new places, something she realized she needed to do.
