His polite voice drifted like water over rocks."I wasn't judging missy."He looked at her seriously.Minky stood there watching the humming bird hungrily.Aiden's fur hung down and dripped but he didn't look ratty or smell like wet dog like most would.His fur still seemed dry but it dripped and the smell that came off hi resembled the smell of a ocean breeze.m

Atra sighed a bit and breathed in the air tinted with salt. "Thank you. Most wolves do," she said seriously and smiled at him. He seemed like a good soul, one that needed a dark shadow looming above it. She showed true thanks in her eyes though because deep deep deep in her heart she reconized that he was being kind and true. Jace flew by the little helper of the water wolf as fast as lightning to observe him.

Aiden smiled his cool eye's content.Minky was still on the gound.His head zipping this way and that with the movement's of Jace."Minky why don't you go to the lake to hunt?"With a smile the otter scampered off.Aiden advanced a few step's toward Atra.His warm wet scent wafting with him."Hi there,I'm Aiden."He smiled and laughed.His laugh was like a softer verison of a waterfall thundering down a cliff.

Atra

Arta's head tilted at his laugh and she smiled. She prefered not to laugh, for it often sounded wicked and cold, but now she did. Once she realized what she was doing, she snapped her mouth shut for a moment. Jace landed on her shoulder and gave her a warning look, knowing about her devious laugh. She sighed and looked up with pitch-black eyes.

"I am Atra, a member of this pack," she said slowly, still getting used to the idea of belonging to a pack again. She didn't mention that in the ancient human language, latin, Atra meant darkness. It was the only name her parents could think of when they had her and she believed that had they named her differently, she might have gotten different powers.

Aiden's face softened as he said"That's a beautiful name."He knew some name's ment some things and he added"Even if it mean's something bad."He wanted to be near the water and said"Wanna come down to the lake with me?"The dark water looked inviting to him but to most it would look downright like a messy coat.He smiled and pranced up to her.

Atra

Atra looked nervously at Zorr. Before answering Aiden, she whispered to Jace to tell Zorr that she would observe this new male for him. Jace did as he was told nervously, and when he returned, Atra smiled at the water wolf and said, "Sure." She was somewhat afraid of the water though, so she didn't really plan on swimming. She began to walk forward and looked bad deviously to see if Aiden would follow. She was actually suprised he wanted to talk to her, since most wolves ignored her completely.

Aiden judged her face making sure she was okay.He padded down next to her.He looked at the water.He jupmed in leaping gracfully.He dove into the water.He opened his eye's and took the water and made a penitrating jetstram and pionted it toward the deep side of the bank about 20 feet under and blasted a hole in it.The dirt swirled and settled.and in the side of the bank was a large hole enough for him and Minky to fit in.Minky slept on the bank of course but he could vist.Aiden pushed supporting water into the make-shift cave to support it.He swam back up his face emerging and his fur shining more like scales than fur.He shook his head and said"It's lovely down there."

Zorr

Zorr watched as Atra was correct, a wolf had appeared. He stood up, licking his lips of the blood stained on it. Zorr watched with fury as the otter scampered off farther into his territory, figuring it was going to hunt. He turned to Thor, "Make sure that Otter doesn't touch one fish in this territory. It belongs to the pack, not some mere loner's helper." He ordered, harshness in his voice. Thor nodded his head and took off at a quick speed, rearing out over the water searching for the otter.

Zorr watched as the loner walked into his lands so freely and went into the lake. His fiery temper coarsed through him as Zorr raced off to the end of the water. He looked hesitant for a second, not liking the water, before looking defiant. His tail was held up high like a banner, his eyes had fire dancing in them. His nostrils flared out, "What are you doing on Sera Packlands?" He bellowed to the wolf, "You did not ask to enter my territory. Speak, who are you?" He said, lashing his tail from side to side.

Thor failed at finding the otter and landed regally on Zorr's shoulder, eyeing the new wolf cautiously.

Aiden walked up the bank and watched the alpha."Well hello to you too?"He smiled and shook himself."Well I personally didn't know I had to ask permission."He sat down and said "And please have your eagle refrain from attacking my otter."He watched the alpha and said"Do I seem to pose a threat?I haven't done anything for you to be agressive.You didn't seem to notice me so I started talking to Atra."He swished his tail calmly."I'm sorry if i hurt your feelings?"He laughed his care-free temper wasn't the best for these situations.

Zorr

Zorr watched as the wolf approuch, eyeing him carefully. He was definitly a water wolf in every aspect. "Don't wolves get taught anymore that they must ask permission to enter packlands before doing so?" He asked himself allowed in annoyance. "My helper was never going to attack yours unless it hunted. Although, I could give him the wish since you two were intruding on Sera lands." He said roughly, standing up tall to show his dominance. "No, you are no threat but you intruded onto my land as if every wolf owns it. I am Alpha of this territory, which you should've scented my marks along the border. Atra is not alpha, nor beta, of this pack so she may not let free passings to wolves unless I say so." He said, letting the tips of his fangs poking out of his upper lip. 

He shook his fur in aggitation, he didn't need some loner parading in front of him. "Now, Who are you and what do you want?" He asked, tensing his muscles up. He wanted to know what this loner was up to before chasing him out of his territory. Unless he wanted to join, which would have to make Zorr considerate.

He grumbled to himself "Fire wolfs are such gouchy pant's."He looked at the alpha and said."I don't know if I want to join.I kinda made a cave in the bottem of the lake so all I ask is to stay in your lake and let my otter and I hunt the fish and occasionaly onto the shore."

Zorr shook his head, not catching what the wolf said. "No, you may not stay in my lake or hunt in it unless you are a pack member. If  you want to live in this here lake, you must be in the pack. Because, if I let you reside there then other wolves would like to reside there, before you know it, a pack forms and steals my land." He said, sternly, letting his fur rest down flat against his body. He lashed his tail side to side, wishing this wolf would just tell him who he was.

Wow you're pushy!"Aiden was growing angry."My name is Aiden."He stood up little ripples formed ofer the water as he tensed and loosend tensed and loosend.His muscle's were shifting working and ready."That's all I want and you deny me my wish all I even needed is a couple of day's and then I'll have my chocie."He was getting angrier for the simple fact he was being pushed around like crap.He howled it echoed mournfully like the sob of a lonley ocen.Echoing eerily it echoed deep into the water reaching Minky's ear's.Minky swam as fast as he could and reared up and out of the water and sliding to his friend's feet.The otter stared at the Alpha.

Zorr let his eyes bore right into him, "I am allowed to be this way to loners that cross my boundries." He gave a sharp bark at him, before lifting his tail up. "You want a few days, Aiden? I will grant you a week to choose whether to stay in the pack or leave." He said, flickering his tail to Thor. Thor let out a ear-peircing caw before taking flight. Without another word, Zorr whipped around and started to walk off back to the main part of the territory.

Zorr sat down neatly at the entrence of his den. He over looked the wolves, continually to glance over at Aiden in suspicion.

Thor flew down besides him, "You're going to scare him off if you continue to stare at him like that." He commented, shuffling his feet.

"Your right, but I don't know if I can trust him to be a loyal member of the pack. Especially after how he treated me like a loner in loner territory..." He admitted, trailing on.

"Don't worry, he's probably just used to life as a loner. Give him time, I'm sure he'll show if wants to be apart of this pack. He was pretty peppy before you interigated him, the personality will soon return." Thor reassured him, staring out into the distance.

"I hope your right, Thor." Zorr said, lifting his head up to the breeze, "Spring is in the air,"

"Ah, females will come crawling to this pack to entertain you, soon." Thor responded with a deep chuckle.

Zorr shot Thor an angry glance before saying nothing. He sat back on his haunches and let fire engulf his paws to warm him up from the breeze, before letting the fire sizzle out.

Aiden shot down into the water.Before he went he said "Atra if anyone need's me tell Minky to get me."He slid under the water.Her swam to the bottme of the lake and slid into the cave.His breathing slowed as he drifted to sleep.He was awaken by the smell of fresh fish.He opened his eye's to see a few new fish in the water a yard from where he was.He shot out of his cave and slid though their formation coming out with 3 fish in his mouth.He went back to his cave and started to eat.

Atra

Atra watched the encounter and said nothing. Sometimes silence was golden. She reconized Aiden pushing the limit with Zorr, and she mentally admired him a bit for it. Atra nodded when Aiden told her to get his otter if needed. She turned on her hind paws and trotted slowly up to where she saw Zorr, smiling wickedly as she did so.

Atra approached Zorr carefully, so she wounld'nt suprise him like she truly wanted to. "Hello friend," she said sweetly and sat down across from him, just as Jace zipped past her face. He whispered in her ear so only Atra could hear him. "The alpha is vounerable right now, take advantage of it," he whispered and flew away to oberve the new wolf like he knew Atra would want him to.

He lay on the bottem of his cave and ate his fish.He smiled he could so easily defy the alpha's order's of a week.The alpha was at a total disadvantage with a water wolf.He knew he couldn't get Aiden out of water himself.He smiled and laughed at the thought.

Zorr watched as Atra approuched him. He gave a small nod and responded in a monotone voice, "Hello, what's on your mind?" He asked, flickering his tail. He figured she was going to ask him for something, or she would be with Aiden.

He was getting bored.He swam tot he top of the water.He looked around and found Minky"Minky I'm going to the gulf."With a nod at a few more instructions he scampered off.Aiden ducked under and started to swim.(I'll have Aiden go tot he gulf so you can use your new charrie =])

Zorr gave a small shrug, "Don't know much about 'em, but I'll be watching. Not a fan of him at the moment, no." He explained in shorter words. Thor ruffled his black feathers before settling down against his sides. He looked over at Zorr and back at Atra.

"I could not believe that he said he didn't know to ask permission to come into the pack lands though. It was a typical water wolf type act though, i must say. I just know some packs that would kill you just for thinking of coming into the territory," she thought about it for a moment, but it only gave her a headache so she abandoned the thoughts of pain and sorrow. She looked up at Zorr. He eyes would have showed pain but they were pitch black and unreadable.

Zorr let out a relieved sigh as Atra agreed that the wolf should've known. He nodded his head, "I agree, but I'm not to harsh about it. He didn't look like a threat that would put my pack in danger, so it was nothing to fight over." He said in a clear voice before turning his head to look at Atra. "All the water wolves I've met have been carefree and hyper, maybe I've only seen one side of water wolves." He said, giving off a dry chuckle.

But you must also take into account the very nature of wolves like them. they can be quite unpredictable, like rapids," Atra smiled at the thought of the destruction rapids caused, and the deaths they could inflict. She mellowed out her smile to a more normal look and watched Zorr for an answer.

just then Jace flew up to alert Atra that the water wolf had gone to the gulf. Atra looked at him suspiciously, but turned to Zorr anyway. "The water wolf has apparently gone to the gulf," she announced.

Zorr gave his shoulders a shrug, "Or they could be the soft, calming stream that allows life to go on as they drink from it." He commented in a softer voice. Zorr allowed himself to slunch back from his regal stance, into a more comfortable one.

His ears swiviled around to Atra's statement. "He is a water wolf, I did expect him to try that out, just in case he wanted to expiriment and live there as a loner. But, I must not do anything for I gave Aiden my word that he shall have a week to decide." He spoke with no anger or tension in his voice.

Atra considered this for a moment. "He seems kind, it appears he has a good soul. He was nice to me, despite my....gift," she decided, suprised at herself for liking anyone ever. She had always refrained from really making friends. She talked to Zorr kindly because she was part of his pack, and it was always good to be on an Alpha's good side. Aiden on the other hand, Atra could see them being friends. It was strange in her mind to think such a thing. She knew though that he might not like her so much when he got to know her and Atra sighed at the thought.

Jace poked Atra gently with his beak and she gave him a dark look. He whispered in her ear, "I will continue to observe him for you, Atra." She nodded and he zipped away. The distance was strenuous to him, but he pushed through it. He landed on a small branch, and watched the water wolf talk to an ice wolf. Jace would have smiled, had he had lips, at the news. Atra would be pleased to know this.

Atra yelped in suprise as a huge lightning bolt landed not even twenty feet from where she was sitting. She looked at Zorr in alarm. "What the hell was that?" she wondered, since the sky was blue and showed no signs of storms.

Zorr shook his head firmly, "At least he was nice to some one..." He grumbled, shaking his fur from the thoughts. At the strike of lightning, Zorr immediatly felt himself stnad up by instinct. Feeling his paws and spine grow hot, they quickly lit up on fire. Flames of red, orange and blue dances along his spine and around his paws. Hot embers splashed around him, quickly fizzing out before they hit Atra.

His head snapped to his helper, "Thor, fly up and get an eagle eye veiw. Make sure Zane isn't sending a patrol this way. I don't want another surprise attack." He ordered, watching as Thor nodded his head and took off.

He looked over at Atra, "It's Zane, alpha of Ronoh pack." He said bitterly. Not reveling the truth of his relation with Zane.

"An enemy?" she asked in a small suprised and excited voice. She loved battles and pain and if the pack had an enemy, it made it all the more fun for her. Zane must be a electricity wolf, she thought because of the lightning. She would never admit it, but the lightning scared her. It was a beam of solid light, and light was Atra's natural enemy.

Zorr shook his head, not liking the term 'enemy'. "No, more of a anger-influenced rivalry between both packs." He said, his eyes glinting like bright crimson. He turned his head to Atra, "I want you to scout the borders, Thor might not be able to see under the leaves for they block his vision. Could you make sure they aren't hidding in the darkest shadows of the area. I don't want you crossing borders though," He asked, his fur standing on end.

He looked sternly into the forest, clearly in thought. Did Zane get more wolves to back him up to take over Sera Pack. Surely, he did. Zorr wouldn't put it past him to bribe others to do his dirty work.

Atra nodded. "Of course." She ran off, opening her wings though she couldn't fly. She ran to the border until she scented the other pack and started to circle the area. She didn't see anything but she continued to look, almost feeling in her bones something in the area. She was careful not to cross the border though, because she knew pack rivalries were fierce.

Just then, a black squirel jumped out at her from the bushes. Atra yelped and snarled, and the squirel eventually receeded back into the forest, but Atra had multiple scraches on her face and shoulders.

Atra ran back to Zorr and licked her muzzle when she reached him, to clean it of blood. "There was a black squirel that attacked me when i was patroling. Could it be this Zane's helper?" she wondered and sat down.

Atra nodded solemly. "Nothing else, and no fresh scents. It seems Zane allowed his squirel to do his bidding," she said with a small growl. Small animals had always bothered her. They had no right to be so small and invisible. Thay had no powers after all. And Atra hated to admit defeat to what? A squirel? she growled again.

Zorr nodded his head, "Thank you for scouting though," He said, letting himself calm down but still being weary. "Looks like he doesn't have enough wolves to go scout his pack's borders." He commented. Thinking greedily, Zorr wished he had a few more wolves in his pack so he could invade Ronoh's territory and take over, to increase his territory. A small smile crept across his face.

Zorr turned his head back to Atra, "And how do you know that? I doubt that water wolf would join if Zane is persuing him to join Ronoh instead." He said, in a strong voice.

He heard the familliar flapping of Thor swooping down to land besides Atra and Zorr. He dipped his head to the duo, "I have spotted Zane walking out of the territory, he was heading to the direction of the gulf." He commented in a serious voice.

The sound of a soft wing beat sounded in Eli's sensitive ear's.He looked up to see his helper Boo flying silently above.He had scented faint marking but they were much stronger now.He opened his maw and howled.The sound came out a bit mechanical due to his element.He stopped and sat on the ground.His loud strong howl echoing though the woods.

Zorr's ears flickered up to the new howl of a wolf. He let a content smile cross his muzzle, "Another wolf." He said aloud before standing up. He dipped his head to Atra and trotted over to the wolf. He was surprised for the wolf was a little bit taller than himself and was covered in cold-silver metal. He was definitly an armor or metal wolf, thought Zorr.

Zorr stood in front of the wolf and looked at the newcomer. "Hello, I am Zorr: alpha of Sera pack." He introduced, "Who are you, and what is your reason for coming here?" He asked, liking this wolf already for being polite enough to howl for him than trespassing.

Atra sighed and followed her alpha to the new wolf. She stood at Zorr's shoulder, and stayed eerily silent. She watched the newcomer with cold, black eyes snake-like in nature. Jace swirled around her head nervously and she wanted to snap at him but contained herself.
