New Wolf Era

Eziek O'Glan

The large green wolf lumbered after Zumi, the gentle giant watching around wondering where he was being taken to assist with. As they approached the group, Eziek bumped on through and noticed the alpha was in very bad shape. It wasn't fatal, but it was a very good snap that the alpha endured. Eziek lowered himself to the ground, sniffing at Leonardo. 

"Alright, alpha, I'm going to fiddle around and try to fix this up the best I can. It may bring some pain, so hold on. I was told the healer was grabbing some herbs to help." He replied, slightly fibbing. He didn't know if Nora was out getting herbs or not. He was extremely confident in his abilities, so this would be an easier fix. However, it may leave a nice sliver of a scar across his leg.

Eziek positioned his legs between Leo's leg before looking to Zumi. "Mind grabbing a nice sturdy bark or twigs, make some kind of splint. It helps heal quicker without irritating it." Eziek licked at the wound, it was still warm with inflammation. He pushed his nose against the knee before pushing hard against it to push it back into place. 

Eziek profusely apologized as he knew that would be painful. Whispering to himself for a moment as if talking his way through the steps. Placing a paw over on the wound, he 'spoke' to bone marrow cells to mend up at faster speed. In result, this would cause Leo to get a fever and sweat as Eziek was pushing his body to over work itself to heal quicker. The alpha was a young wolf, he could easily bounce back and it wouldn't be life threatening. 

Kuro

Kuro snarled as he heard the news of the wolf that caused this pain from the alpha. He wanted to just go in there and rip all three of them to pieces for what happened. It wasn't one of them though, so there must be more out in the forest or at least along the pack boundries. Kuro turned over to Amari, "Amari, go out and patrol quickly. Make sure there isn't any wolves that are now entering. I'm going to go find Mercutio and let him see what happened from these Ronoh wolves."

Aeris & Apollo

Months had gone by, and the pair had been living their life in harmony. Playing, enjoying each others company, and of course; making love. Spring had rolled around, and the question had become evident.

"So... do you think it's possible?" Apollo asked, as they laid in the grass, cuddled under the warm sun. Apollo's nose gently stroked against Aeris' belly, looking up at her in question.

"...I'm not sure. I mean, I am getting old.... what if I am?" She replied, the topic was obvious, but it wasn't needed to be explained on what they were talking about.

"I'd be... I'd be..." Apollo closed his eyes, envisioning himself as a father. Would he make a good father? A second chance, a moment to prove himself worthy of being there for his pups.. Although he didn't remember the scenario that unfolded between himself and Naomi, Apollo still felt hesitant about being a good father. 

Aeris felt her heart stop at the sound of Apollos voice fading away. Waiting for his response felt like hours, even though it was merely a few seconds until the smile on his face said it all.

"No matter what happens, I love you, and I'd be the happiest male on earth." Apollo smiled at Aeris, reaching up and licking her cheek softly.

"Well, then you know what that means..." Aeris grinned. She took a deep breath and looked at Apollo, before looking up to the sky. "If this is my last chance, then I'd love to be a mother... and seeing as though its spring.. if it hasn't already happened, well, we can never be too late..." She smiled over at Apollo, although unaware that she was already pregnant, the two couldn't be too careful, and both playfully leapt to their feet, running off into the outskirts of the pack forest, seeing as though they still never officially had a cave to rest, or breed in. (lol)

Leonardo Torrez & Zumi Torrez

Leonardo laid quietly as Eziek approached and spoke of healing his leg, and how the pain would be... not pleasent. He closed his eyes and held on through the experience, thinking of happier things - memories flooded his mind of Amari and Meructio, their old games they'd play and the adventures they'd have. Leonardo drifted into a dream, he was chasing a deer with the two wolves, having fun and playing while they tried to catch it - but Leonardo turned into the deer,  and he awoke in a panic. He had a fever and was sweating, panting heavily as he felt the pain crawl up his leg. He let out a whine and reached up, his inital reaction to snap at Eziek, barely missing as he held himself back at the last minute. "Ouch, what was that for?!" He let out a growl, not enjoying the experience.

Zumi sat back and listened, quietly watching as the wolf did his job. "I will look for Nora, I'm sure she will be back soon." Zumi explained, getting up to search for both bark, and Nora. "Nora?" He called, heading out towards a usual spot she collected herbs. "We need bark for Leonardos leg..." He said, aloud, mostly as a mental reminder to himself.

Zorr & Mercutio Torrez

Zorr watched with a worried expression as his daughter helped lift up his mate back to her paws. Zorr snuggled on next to Catorii's other side. The bush caught onto Zorr's side, a few mild scratches that dug into his skin. Nothing too big to worry about. He looked over at Mercutio, "We don't need you to escort us back if you're too busy. I remember how much work it takes to lead the pack. I think Kianna's got a handle on this." Zorr smiled at his daughter, she was going to take after Catorii's loving ways. That was very plain to see, a little shy but was sure that once she opened up to another. There would be the most loyal and loving wolf that some lucky male would get to experience. He was sure it was going to be that Harle fellow, but he hadn't seen him running around lately. 

The black alpha watched with brooding eyes, slowly meeting his sister's eyes. Sometimes, he forgot that she was old enough to know what was happening. He tried to return the smile, but it was a half smile that faded quick. They both knew their time was coming, it would be hard to take care of them soon. Hearing his father, Mercutio looked over to the frail red wolf. 

"Yes, the pack. You taught me well, I remember you running around all the time as we were younger. I better get back to Leonardo." He replied, which was true enough. He wanted to share his concern of his aging parents. Along with what to do about those Ronoh wolves.

Kianna & Catorii Torrez

The family was strong hearted, and Kianna could feel the love even as her stubborn brother went off in his own way. She knew he had business to take care of, but all she cared about was spending time with her parents right now. She turned her head to look to her father, and gave him a silent nod before heading off, turning to go towards the retired Alpha's den. She still considered it home to herself, never finding her way into her own den. It would feel good to be home.

Catorii reluctantly took in a deep breath and took a step, leaning back and fourth, mostly depending on the stronger Kianna for support. She leaned towards Zorr every now and then, licking his cheek once as if reassuring him of her health. Although she could have been lying through her teeth, Catorii just wanted to lay down and close her eyes.

Kianna looked back behind her head, taking a peek into the forest one last time. It had felt like months since she had last seen Harlequin, and she missed him dearly. She hoped he was alright, and wanted to spend more time with him. Something in her heart ached, from not seeing him for such a long extended amount of time. She let out a faint, silent sigh as she turned back, failure to spot the orange and brown hued wolf in the distance. 

Turning to look ahead, she smiled as the cave wasn't too far from where they were. Walking by the fire pit, Kianna glanced over at it. It hadn't been lit in a while. She looked back to her parents. Without their livelihood, no one carried on the tradition of the tribal dances. She thought to herself that in honor of her parents, she would learn to dance, and would have a tribal fire for them as soon as they were well enough to lay by the fire. For now, she escorted her mother and father into the den, slowly lowering the elderly female into a comfortable spot where she normally laid.  

Catorii allowed herself to be lowered into a more comfortable position in her den. It felt good to be 'home' in a sense, the smells were fantastic and the warmth of the cave was reassuring. Taking a moment to reflect on her home, Catorii looked around and inhaled deeply, as though the little memories in the cave were all flowing through her, once again.

It didn't take long for her head to lower and rest on her front paws. She let out a deep breath, and slowly started to relax. Her fur stayed warm, smoking every now and then from her elemental ability to keep her body temperature just right and snug, and eventually, the retired alpha drifted off into dreamland, as soon as her tail reassuringly touched her mates.

Amari

The female continued to scout the land, with no luck it seemed. She lowered her nose to the ground, in search of a scent that could lead her to the wolves land. It seemed to have been too long ago, and the three captive wolves scents were covered up by the freshly grown grass and the dew that grew on the budding flowers. Spring was evident, and she could feel the life of the forest, growing as it dug deeper and pushed towards summer. Amari lifted her nose and looked around, her robotic eye focusing in, trying to find some sort of movement. The red heat was small, mostly game in her mind, but she wasn't looking for food... She wanted wolves. Should she lean towards going to Ronoh? To investigate for herself? No... Kuro gave her orders. Surely Ronoh would send reinforcements, and she'd be the first one ready for them. She lifted her head up, looking into the trees. Knowing she couldn't be too careful, Amari started tracking her steps. Reaching up, she'd claw into a tree, similar to Kuro's teaching ways, covering her forepaws in a coated metal armour before doing so, so she wouldn't damage her nails. She allowed her body to fade, armour becoming the only thing known to the female as her fur became hidden, besides her belly and the other half of her face. She knew it was a weak spot, but Kuro had taught her well on how to protect it.

Her adrenaline was pumping, and she knew it wouldn't be long - but each moment she thought something was to happen, nothing would, and eventually she found herself pacing back and fourth, frustrated that her scouting was leading her to absolutely nothing.

Zorr Torrez

Zorr's ears were laid back but with every reassuring lick from his mate, they pointed back upright. She was going to be fine, right? He felt a strange twang in his heart, but thought little of it since it must've been from stress. He was actually more surprised that past stress hadn't knocked him down earlier, his family must have been enough to allow his body to bounce back from the late alpha stress.

Passing the fire pit, Zorr paused as he watched it. A smile pressed firmly on his face as he relived past memories. "That's where your mother and I would dance the night away under the fire's warmth. We first met at a fire, I'm pretty certain it was love at first sight." He thought aloud to Kianna, trying to lighten up the mood and boost his mate's spirits. He gave a quick lick behind Catorii's ears. "I wonder if Mercutio and Leonardo will light a fire up this summer. It'll be nice." 

Approaching the den, Zorr had a bad limp by then. His arthritic joints were killing him, sending a burning pain that he still never got used to. Once Catorii laid down, Zorr gathered some sticks around him and shuffled them nearby her. He blew a small flame, just enough to allow the fire to catch onto the sticks.

"Rest, my love." Zorr spoke in a sweet voice. He slowly sat down besides her, feeling relief off his paws. His tail curled around her's, holding it tightly before looking to Kianna.

"Thank you. I'm sure you're almost done with your apprenticeship now, aren't you?" Zorr asked, not wanting his daughter to run off just yet. He enjoyed having one of his children to talk to, it was hard with the boys as they were big and alphas. They were off doing their own thing, which Zorr understood. Maybe he'd have grandpups soon, probably not, they seemed more headstrong about pack duties than looking for love. 

Eziek O'Glan

The green wolf was more of watching and babysitting the alpha's leg as the wolf grimaced in pain. Not knowing the who situation that was kept hidden from the other Sera wolves, Eziek shot a quick shocked look at Leonardo. War? There was a possibility of war? He hoped it was going to be avoided, he didn't want his pups in danger or to go through that so soon in their life. It would put a lot of responsibility onto Eziek since he'd be running around trying to heal wolves up quickly.

"Not much longer, I'm sure when alpha Mercutio arrives. It shouldn't hurt." Eziek replied, not entirely sure if those words were true. It still needed time, it couldn't be rushed with such a cracked leg. He knew the young wolf was antsy.

Kianna Torrez

Kianna watched as her father created a small fire and took rest next to Catorii. She was already asleep, her breathing had calmed and Kianna was thankful that she was resting. She turned to her father as he spoke, silent for a moment as she tried to collect her words.

"Y-yes, father." Kianna retorted, her voice scratchy and unattractive at first, before she sat down and cleared it. "I think so." She looked out of the den for a moment, wondering what rank her brothers would give her. She hunted with Harlequin a few times, and enjoyed it, but what if she were to be a warrior? Kianna was ready to take on any challenge her brothers gave her, but she was a little nervous at the same time.

Kianna picked herself up and walked around the den, a quick pace simply from anxiety. She held a lot of bottled up energy that wanted to escape through running, but now wasn't the time. After doing a few laps around the cave she sat back down next to her father, laying down as her tongue rolled from her mouth silently. She looked over at her mother, giving a soft-light hearted sigh.

Zorr Torrez

"You'll make a good apprentice, I'm sure you'll be a hunter. If your brother's are wise, they'd put you under Zumi." Zorr chuckled, she had her mother's sleek build. She'd be quick, but not the heart of a warrior. It was as if he read her mind, but he just picked up quickly on the way his daughter paced. "Am I holding you up from something?" Zorr asked the young fire wolf, noticing her walking around and occasionally stealing a glance outside as if expecting someone. 

Zorr's didn't know if there was a wolf farther off waiting for her since his vision had pretty much all but left. He adapted to the cloudy vision, except for the few minutes of clearness when close to something. 

Mercutio Torrez

His ears gave a gentle, knowing flicker. He knew about their aging process and that Tyson was sugar-coating the news. He assumed it was just for protection to spare him, limit his worries. Mercutio knew better, he was an alpha now. Not that experienced, maybe, but he had to have some challenges come at him to learn. All Tyson had spoken of was everything he suspected. They'd die peacefully and soon.

The issue was; when would he have the ability to know his final moments with them. He couldn't commit to seeing them while looking over alpha duties. Even if his brother was helping him, they may be able to take shifts if it got bad enough. 

Thoughts were put to the side and erased momentarily as Mercutio spotted his brother, snarling with the healer mending. Mercutio picked up his pace and reached his brother's side. 

"Leo, what happened? Who did this?" a snarl came out, his pink tongue curled before his fangs. The black wolf turned to look at Eziek, noticing how efficiently he was going about the wound. It didn't look too bad, but he wondered if it was much worse.

Leonardo Torrez & Tyson

Tyson walked next to the male, silent as expected, and approaching Leonardo. He didn't know about the wolf who had attacked Leonardo, and silently checked in on his memories, but the wolf seemed to be too fast -

"Its a female. Lightning-fast wolf." Tyson pitched in before Leonardo had a chance to speak. "Alpha, perhaps?" He shrugged, looking to Eziek in spite of confusion.

"Lupita." Leonardo pitched in, nodding to Tysons description. "Tyson is right. She's an electric wolf. And she is fast. She broke my leg, but Eziek here has handled it well. We are just waiting on Zumi, to bring back a...." Leonardo paused for a moment, taking in the pain before continuing. It was feeling much better, but still similar to a pest-like pain, he hoped it would completely subside soon. 

"She wants her wolves back, and I say we give them back." Leonardo suggested. "The wolves look starving. They obviously just wanted food. We don't want any trouble, and if we tell them that..." Leonardo shrugged, trying to see what his brother thought of his proposition.

Zumi Torrez

The male arrived momentarily after Leonardo's words, placing the request Eziek had asked of old bark by his side. "Sorry if I'm late, I ran into Nora, she should be shortly behind me, but she seemed a bit out of it." Zumi admitted, since she was so quiet during their meeting. Surely she just had a lot on her mind. "Is everything alright?" He noticed the aurora of the area was very under pressure, Mercutio was extremely stressed and Leonardo was in a lot of pain, which caused stress as well. Eziek seemed to have a worried aurora and Tyson seemed worked up as well. He backed off a bit, listening in carefully in case there was anything else he could do for them.

Nora


She quickly gathered the rest of her things, giving Zumi some loose bark from a near by tree. She was running slower than usual Maybe it was because yet again she had forgotten to eat. Nora often put her duties before herself and would forget silly things like this. But she rushed in behind Zumi. "Hi, So sorry..." She apologized on her behave and saw Eziek and Zumi helping. She pulled a few dried up leaves from her satchel and approached Leonardo. "Eat these, they will help with the pain." She said softly, nudging the leaves towards the wounded alpha.

Jayce

He chuckled as Amara shouldered into him and teased him. He then bounded after her, playfully growling behind her. Leaving a trail of dead grass under his paws from the acid that seeped out of his paws as he ran. "Who's the slowpoke now!?" He teased then slowed down as he smelled the sweet scent of prey. 

Zorr Torrez

Zorr pressed a smile on his face, it appeared his daughter was facing worry toward her friend. They seemed pretty inseparable as soon as Catorii introduced them to Kuna's brood. "I'm sure Harlequin is alright, he may be in a deep sleep from this weather. He'll be up before you know it." Zorr tried to comfort Kianna's worries. 

He gave a slow nod of his head as Kianna lulled out the 'nice and snug' phrase, it sounded so soothing even if her voice was still raspy and sharp. His clouded eyes rose up to look at Kianna's pretty ones at her question. He didn't really know how to answer it. 

"One day, your mother and I will go. We aren't young wolves like you anymore, I'm sure it'll be sooner rather than later. Your old man's body can't keep up with his spirit." He gave a dry, almost forced chuckle. "I think your mom will be alright right now with some rest, she has a strong fighting spirit." 

He untwisted his tail from his mate's to place it onto Kianna's front paws. "When it does happen, it'll be okay. We're prepared for it. Light a fire for us, both of us will always be dancing among the flames." 

Leonardo

The male was quiet while Zumi and Nora arrived, listening to the conversations and sitting still as Eziek wrapped his leg. He wasn't the happiest camper, and Mercutio's unneeded anger wasn't helping him deal with the pain, either.

Leonardo reached out and reluctantly chewed on the herbs provided by the healer, swallowing them as quickly as he could, as they were definitley not the best thing he had eaten, ever. He swallowed hard and coughed a bit, before thinking about what Mercutio had to say.

"Think about our wolves, Mercutio. Are you mad right now? Mom and Dad are ill, Kianna isn't much of a warrior, we have two great healers, still not warriors.. Then there is Tyson, a fine warrior but definitely older. We have Kuro and Amari on our side, probably our best bets.. but all of the other pack members are either hibernating, ill, elderly, or not old enough to be put out on the battlefield. We can't risk losing our only good pack members, and I don't want our parents last moments to be in a war." Leonardo sighed. "Although it makes us look weak, we can think of the best out come to scare them away, to make sure they never come back." Leonardo thought for a moment.

"Why don't you choose one wolf to send back to Ronoh, and keep the others here. Send them with a message, and have them tell Ronoh as long as they agree to never come back to our lands, and to leave us in peace, we will allow the other two wolves their freedom. Do it to the wolf that seems most easily threatened. Give them two days to return, or we will kill the hostages." Leonardo said. "If Ronoh is as hungry as they seem, they wouldn't attack us on that bargain and would take advantage of the situation." Leonardo looked at Mercutio with a stern eye, knowing his brother was hard headed and more of a brute while Leonardo took on the more logical side of the Alpha position. He knew it would be a tough bargain to convince Mercutio of his plan, and he was prepared to continue to butt heads with him. He didn't want a war. Not right now.

Leonardo tilted his head as Eziek pitched in and asked him to stand. He nodded his head. "Let me finish this discussion with my brother, and then I will stand." He said, buying himself a little more time, as he was nervous about standing.

Zorr Torrez

Putting on a sad smile, Zorr was silent. Her rough words stung, it was painful to think about leaving everyone behind. Leaving his little girl without his wisdom and guidance. "I don't want to leave either, Kianna, but it's the Earth's way. If I had my way, I'd be here for years and years after." He tried to explain, it was hard to and he felt a deep lump stuck in his throat. He didn't want Kianna to dance alone without him, but everyone must dance alone sometime in their life. 

When his daughter shuffled over to him, Zorr welcomed her body pressed up against him. He felt years younger and her as a small pup that would walk between his legs. He wrapped his neck around Kianna in a form of an embrace.

"I would love to stay and play with my grandpups. I would love those little trouble-makers dearly. Your mother and I started our family late, it was always in the back of our mind that we may not live to see our puppies have their own. They'd be spoiled by your old man, I could tell you that." He laughed, patting her with his tail. Unless they got started right now, he didn't see how he'd be able to experience being a grandparent.

Leonardo

"Wolves later, safety first." Leonardo rebuttled towards his brother. They would have plenty of time to recruit one this Ronoh business died down.

The male nodded to Mercutio. "And if they decide to come back, we will be prepared. I will have Eziek here, check on our parents to be sure they are in safe quarters, along with the other elders." Leonardo shot a glance at Tyson.

"Tyson, would you mind fetching Artemis? She's the only other elder I can think of, please escort her to where the retired alphas are, we will plan to keep them together for a few nights, just in case anything suspicious happens." The male explained, flicking his tail as Mercutio explained he would be the one to pick out a wolf.

"Sure thing, Mercutio. You do that, while I continue to rest. Eziek, once we are finished here, would you mind doing a check on our parents? I can show you where their den is, they are in their cave, right Mercutio?" He shot a quick glance back to his brother. 

Leonardo & Zumi Torrez

The male just continued to stare at Mercutio, a small amount of pride building in his heart. He pulled back once Mercutio answered and made his way towards the hostages, turning to meet Eziek's gaze. "Yes, I can attempt to stand..... Zumi?" He turned to Zumi.

Zumi lifted his ears at the sound of his name, looking to the male in an attentive way. "Yes sir, I can help." He offered a smile at the grown cousin, and picked himself up, making his way to Leonardo's side.

Leonardo began to stand, testing himself without the help of Zumi, only using him as backup. Once he completely brought himself to his feet he momentarily leaned against Zumi, lifting the weight off his bad leg. "May I put weight on it?" Leonardo asked the newer, healer-like wolf. His eyes also turned to Nora, wondering if she had any input as well. They would make a good team, the two of them. 

Zumi leaned against Leonardo, helping him balance carefully.

Tyson Aeris & Apollo

The male nodded to his alpha, as Leonardo suggested he go and find Artemis. He quickly collected himself and bid adieu as he nodded quietly and turned to head towards her cave. Along the way he noticed two familiar wolves, talking, er, yelling, and looking for something, so it seemed.

"How have you guys been?" Tyson asked, approaching Apollo and Aeris. The two were playfully shouting to one another, silly things, the usual.

Aeris had a delighted smile on her face as she saw Tyson, an old friend. She always liked that wolf, especially since he had been keeping Artemis company. Apollo wasn't as excited, but definitely in a good enough mood to give the male a smile. His older composure was settling himself down as well, and so he wasn't as high strung as he normally was. The two nodded to Tyson,

"We have been great, actually." Aeris smiled, looking to her belly. "I think we are expecting..." Aeris lowered her voice, her stomach had grown much in size, and she was beginning to look plump.

"Either that or she needs to lay off the deer," Apollo joked, only to receive a strong whack to the head. He grabbed the back of his head and let out a nervous laugh, "Uh,  I mean your beautiful, as always."

Aeris rolled her eyes but smile, and turned to Tyson to see his reaction.

The males eyes lifted, and he smiled as his tail wagged. "Why! Yes you are! How had I not noticed. The wolf! Inside of you. It has time already. Shouldn't be much longer, a few weeks, I'd assume." Tyson smiled at them, "Just one, as far as I can feel. One time frame, one pup." He shrugged, "But, sometimes I'm wrong, so you never know." 

Aeris' eyes lit up at the news of her being pregnant. Sure, she had assumed, but the certainty of Tyson made her so excited. "Could you tell me if its a boy or girl?" She asked Tyson,  her tail wagging rapidly.

"What do I look like, a wisdom wolf?" Tyson laughed, jokingly. "I do not know, I am sorry. Once the pup is born, I could tell." He winked at them.

Aeris laughed and Apollo let out a grumble, but the two nodded and the three wolves began to engage in some catching up, Tyson began explaining what he had run into, from the retired alphas to the hostages in the den. They sat for some time, and Tyson eventually forgot his original mission, but he would be back on track soon enough.

Eziek O'Glan

Eziek rose to stand up in front of the alpha first, then he started to walk around Leo just to inspect the leg and how he was standing. He shifted some of the bark around his leg, nosing it. He nodded his head as he watched. "Yes, gently at first. I want you to slowly get used to it. Just in case it's not fully heal, I don't want you to be in more pain. It'll be a little stiff and sore, that's normal." Eziek explained. He kept a keen eye as he watched the alpha.

Karasu

Her eyes met the males, having the ability to make the male out in a blurry, strange way. Her eyesight was returning, over time, and it was becoming easier and easier.. the room had also increased in brightness, which helped, although it was still dark in the back of the cave.

A familiar voice echoed into Karasu's ears, recognising it almost immediately. The Alpha. She glared at his outline, taking note of his black and red hues, before thinking about what he had to say.

"What do you want me to do?"

She wasn't about to bargain with a wolf that wouldn't give her a good deal.

Mercutio Torrez

The black wolf was a fiesty one, he was giving her potential one way out and she was giving him some of that infamous sass. Mercutio stared at her calculating, ignoring the other violet wolf's mutters. 

"I need you to run, run fast and swift back to your pack. You have two days to get the message and bring it back or these pack members here will breath their last breath in this musty den. Tell the alphas that we will bring no harm or punishment to your precious pack and allow these wolves to return home as long as you stay off our pack from now on. We will pass your current trespassing due to your unfortunate state of starvation. Next time, if we see one paw step in our territory. We will rain upon your pack so fast..." His voice went from cold to a harsh growl toward the end.

He hoped that she would take up the offer, he didn't want the wolf to get killed. Something about her was extremely attractive to him and he hated himself for it. This was a Ronoh wolf and a b*tchy one at that. He needed to find a nice Sera wolf, if he wanted a b*tch. He would just go chase after Amari.

Karasu

The female glared at the red and black hued wolf, taking a step forward as she listened to him.

"So just like that. You're saying you are going to let me go, if I go tell my mom that we will never come back? That's retarded. What's the catch?" She asked, glaring at him. There had to be something, there was no way he was serious. Just like that, letting them go? Did this guy really think her mom would fly with that?

"And what if my mom wants to attack for capturing me in the first place?" She beamed a bit, ****y, in a way. "I'm an important pack member you know, and she's not taking my hostage lightly." She took another step forward, her teeth bared.

"I'm not afraid of you." She muttered under her breath, not caring if he heard or not. She took a moment to look over the male, not only checking out his attractive features, but looking for a good spot to attack if things got easy to escape on her own.

Mercutio

The alpha was grumbling angrily, he didn't have time for her to argue with him right now. His fur around his neck stood up in annoyance. "Not exactly what I've wanted, but my partner alpha tells me to give you Ronoh filth a second chance to avoid war." His tail lashed back and forth, indicating how much he held a certain distaste toward this plan.

"Just get the hell out of here. If she wants to attack, we'll be ready. How hard is it to take on a dwindling pack of half-starved wolves. I'm sure your helpers would be of better at fighting than them." He sneered, giving off a sly grin. "Since you're so damn important to the pack, I suggest you go tell them. Or shall I keep you here longer and send the lame silver wolf back there that barely moves. I wouldn't be surprised if just died of starvation in here." He shot a glance toward Kodi before looking back to Karasu.

Not wanting to waste anymore time, Mercutio turned and gave her a sharp snip on her flank area and tried to usher her out the den entrance.

Karasu

The black and yellow wolf glared at Mercutio as he continuously insulted her pack. She reached out to snip at him, her mouth shutting right before his nose. "Watch what you say, your words may bite you in the future." She grumbled, turning as he ushered he, allowing her tail to whip him in the face as he nipped towards her. She turned to look back at him one last time, as if entirely doubting his words and waiting for him to lunge. As he took no action, she turned back towards the forest, darting out of the pack and into the thick woods.

Karasu was nervous about this offering, and wasn't about to lead some spies back into her pack the back way. So she decided to cut through the forest and enter her packlands in the most open area possible, scattering herself around Phoenix forest as if trying to throw off any followers.
